Ahead of the August 18 launch of the Lenovo Legion Y70 gaming phone, the company has put out its screen specifications. The Legion Y70 has a 144Hz refresh rate on its 6.67-inch FHD screen. It is also important to note that the screen’s refresh rate is adjustable. The new gaming phone is sleek and uses a center punch screen. Also featured in the phone’s display are global dimming, AOR, HDR10+ Dolby Vision, and low blue light eye safety certification.
The design of the Legion Y70 embraces a CNC carved metal middle frame and a 7.99mm light body. The Legion Y70 is powered by the top-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and it has a rear 50MP triple camera setup as well as a 1/1.5-inch outsole sensor. Lenovo has announced the Xiaoxin Pro 24 desktop PC. The Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 24 is an all-in-one desktop PC with a 2.5K, 100Hz display and is powered by an Intel Core i5-12500H processor. The product is a smaller version of the Xiaoxin Pro 27. The Xiaoxin Pro 27 has a larger display and uses the Intel Arc A370M GPU compared to that of the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 24.
The new Lenovo desktop PC has a 23.8-inch display and several ports for versatile connections. The GPU option available in the new model is different from the discrete GPU of the Xiaoxin 27 Pro. It instead uses the Iris Xe Graphics G7, which is an integrated GPU with 80 Execution units. The processor itself has 12 cores, 16 threads, a 4.5GHz peak clock speed, and a 45W TDP. Samsung has launched its latest Foldable flagship in the market dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. The device comes with multiple improvements over its predecessor, so let’s take a detailed look at the new foldable.
Design & display
Design-wise, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 look quite similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, however, it is shorter by 3.1mm and also slimmer compared to its predecessor. Other than that, the device is slightly wider, and when combined with the razer thin bezels, it makes for a better aspect ratio of 23:9 for the outer display.
The device has a 6.2-inch exterior display and 7.6-inches interior display panels with a new 10.8:9 aspect ratio, making it more square compared to the 11.2:9 aspect ratio found in its predecessor. The outer display has an HD+ (2316 x 904p) Dynamic AMOLED panel, while the inner display offers a QXGA+ (2176 x 1812p) Dynamic AMOLED panel.
Both displays carry support for a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The inner display has 1,000 nits typical brightness while the outer display and back panel boasts Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The frame is made out of aluminum, and the device is 8 grams lighter than the last-gen model.

Under the hood, the device houses Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen Plus SoC which is built on TSMC’s industry-leading 4nm node. The chipset will come paired with up to 12GB RAM LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB UFS 3.1 internal storage (depending on region). It has a 4,400mAh battery capacity paired with 25W fast charging. The phone can refill 50% juice with a 30-minute charge time.
On the software side of things, the device has improved a lot compared to the last gen. It has an Android 12L-based UI which now comes with a PC-like Taskbar on the bottom of the device that allows for instant access to recent apps, most used apps, etc. The company has optimized Facebook, Youtube, Netflix, Disney+, and Microsoft Teams to better utilize the foldable form factor, while apps like Microsoft’s Outlook, Office, Teams, and Google Meet now offer tablet-like functionality.
There is also a Flex Mode, which activates with the phone half folded in a laptop-like position. This activates the camera for video calling in apps that support the mode. For those that don’t, it will turn the lower half of the screen into a touchpad and shortcuts bar.
The S Pen also has a new functionality called text extraction, which is essentially a quick and easy way of copying and pasting text by using the S Pen as a highlighter. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. The phone has an IPX8 rating for water resistance.
Cameras
The camera system on the device has also been upgraded from last year. This time, Fold 4 brings a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and EIS support, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, support. The device also offers 30x digital zoom which Samsung calls the “Space Zoom”.
The cover side of the device has a 10-megapixel unit (f/2.2) and the under-display camera is the same 4-megapixel unit as last year. It is however better hidden this time around due to the increased pixel density.

The latest audio device is the third offering after the Enco Air 2 Pro and Enco Air 2. It is a stripped-down version of the regular variant.
The OPPO Enco Air 2i come with an in-ear design with a stem and slightly angled silicone ear tips for a better fit. They are IPX4 certified dust and water-resistant. OPPO Band 2 is up for pre-order in China. The Standard version of the OPPO Band 2 is priced at 249 Yuan, whereas the NFC version has a price tag of 279 Yuan. The band will go for sale in China on August 19. The global availability of the OPPO Band 2 is yet to be known.
Oppo Watch 3 series is finally here as scheduled. The company took wraps off its latest wearable lineup in China today. The series consists of two models, namely Oppo Watch 3 and Oppo Watch 3 Pro.
Oppo Watch 3 Series Specifications
The Oppo Watch 3 arrives with a square dial, just like its predecessors. They feature an aluminum alloy frame and fiberglass casing. The Watch 3 has a 1.75-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 430 x 372 pixels. Whereas, the Watch 3 sports a larger 1.91-inch LTPO curved OLED display with a resolution of 496 x 378 pixels. Interestingly, both models come with the same 326 PPI but only the Pro version flaunts a crown.
Talking about common things, the duo is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chipset paired with 1GB RAM and 32GB storage. They also house Oppo’s own Apollo 4 Plus chip. They dual-boot ColorOS Watch based on Wear OS and RTOS.
In typical usage (mix of Wear OS and RTOS modes), the Pro variant (550mAh battery) is rated to last for up to 5 days, while the vanilla (400mAh battery) model is said to offer an endurance of up to 4 days. With LTE, the battery life drops by a day for both, and with heavy usage, it further drops by 1.5 days. In RTOS-only mode, they can last for up to 15 days and 14 days, respectively.
Based on this information, the Oppo Watch 3 series seems to be the best Wear OS smartwatch for battery life to date. It is probably due to the new Snapdragon W5 chip, which is making its global debut on these wearables.
Further, both variants offer LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, and NFC (payments, passes, car keys). They are 5ATM water resistant and feature all the essential sensors, like accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, optical heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, ambient light sensor, and altimeter. Infinix Hot 12 is set to launch in India next week. The smartphone will debut in the country on August 17th. Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy A04s in the Asian market soon. The device in question has been spotted on various rumors and reports over the last couple of weeks and was now spotted in another certification website.
The South Korean tech giant’s Galaxy A04s had just recently surfaced on the Indonesia Telecom website. Based on this listing, the smartphone carries the model number SM-A047F and even confirmed its moniker as well. Vivo is apparently gearing up to launch another new model from its Y series of smartphones. The smartphone in question is the Vivo Y35 4G, which is set to launch sometime soon for the Indian market.

Now, a new promotional marketing image poster was shared by a known tipster Paras Guglani and RootMyGalaxy. This poster showcases the smartphone in a Dawn Gold color option. From what we know so far, the Y35 model will arrive with a triple camera setup on the rear that consists of a 50 megapixel primary sensor, 2 megapixel bokeh shooter, and another 2 megapixel macro lens.
Meanwhile, the front will house a 16 megapixel selfie camera. Furthermore, the marketing poster also revealed that the smartphone will launch with at least one configuration that has an 8GB of RAM paired with 256GB of internal storage. Notably, the smartphone will also support 8GB of virtual memory expansion as well. The device will apparently be powered by a 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 44W FlashCharge fast charging.
The smartphone will launch with in a Dawn Gold color option, although, the Chinese smartphone maker is planning on launching the device in a Black color variant as well. The new leak also adds that the upcoming smartphone will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. It will also run on Android 12 OS based FunTouch OS 12.
