A few days back, the tipster DigitalChatStation revealed the specs of the Xiaomi CIVI successor which was assumed to be the Xiaomi CIVI 2. Now, the tipster is back with more information, this time revealing that the successor will be branded as an “S” iteration, possibly called the Xiaomi CIVI S.
Xiaomi CIVI S Design, Codename, and Specifications
The tipster reveals that the next CIVI smartphone will be a small upgrade over the Xiaomi CIVI and may have “S” in its moniker. That being said, the next CIVI phone may be called the CIVI S, instead of the Xiaomi CIVI 2. The CIVI S carries the codename “K9E” and will be a thin and light smartphone with the selfie camera as its highlight.
Furthermore, the CIVI S is touted to have the same punch-hole curved display as the Xiaomi CIVI. The rear camera module will also be unchanged. The tipster reveals that it will bring Sparkling White and Pink color variants.
Apart from this, the smartphone’s specs were leaked previously. The device will come with an FHD+ OLED panel. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate and the same selfie camera as the CIVI i.e. a 32MP unit.
The phone will also come with the same 64MP camera primary camera on the back. It is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC and will support 55W fast charging technology.
Samsung is ramping up its gender-friendly credentials with the announcement that it has opened its first mobile store in India that is fully staffed by females. The move coincides with this year’s celebration of International Women’s Day and it is also part of the #PoweringDigitalIndia initiative.
The new Samsung mobile store is located in Ahmedabad and is aimed at shoring up Samsung’s market share in the sub-continent by promoting the strength of Indian women. The new Samsung Smart Cafe offers customers a unique shopping experience with an all-female staff setup. The store manager, Samsung Experience Consultants, and other staff have received training on the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem as well as other specialized training including accounting, inventory management, and customer service.
Support for the staff comes in the form of the Employee Resource Group (ERG) and Women in Samsung Electronics (WISE) to help the women grow both professionally and in their personal lives. In a statement by Ken Kang, President, and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia, the company is excited to set up the first all-women mobile store in India and it is confident about the new possibilities presented by the incredible team of Samsung women that are part of the initiative. The mobile store fits snugly into Samsung’s core values of people, excellence, and co-prosperity and, according to Kang, Samsung is focused on growing the number of women in its workplace. Truke has unveiled its great-looking Truke Horizon W20 smartwatch in India featuring GPS, GLONASS, and others. The Truke Horizon W20 smartwatch is priced at Rs. 2,999 (~$40) and is currently available via Flipkart. Truke has been known for its audio products but it is also seeking a share of the budding smart wearables market in India with its offering of the Horizon W20.
The Truke Horizon W20 smartwatch has a 1.69-inch Full Screen Touch Color IPS display offering more than 100 cloud-based watch faces. The GPS and GLONASS feature provides greater navigational tools for the user while its IP68 water-resistant rating is an added feature. The Aluminum Alloy casing of the Truke Horizon W20 is also durable while multiple sports modes are available with the smartwatch. The smartwatch has a 300mAh that offers up to 7 days of battery life on normal usage, 5 days with GPS, and up to 45 days on standby mode.
Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity is also available for the Truke Horizon W20 which can be used via the app with Android and iOS devices. Heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen (SpO2), and sleep monitoring are also available in the Truke Horizon W20.

Motorola’s MA1 Android Auto dongle has been out of stock in many outlets including Amazon since February. The wireless MA1 Android Auto dongle is for vehicles that already have the wired version and it has been quite difficult getting the product since it was launched in January 2022. Pre-orders were exhausted within hours and actual sales also saw emptying of stocks within a few hours in Amazon.
However, Scalpers is having a swell time with the Motorola MA1 Android Auto dongle, as it is being sold sometimes more than twice its original $90. The MA1 wireless Android Auto dongle is now priced up to $200 by third-party sellers who are benefiting from the stock issue. It is unclear what is the specific cause resulting in the unavailability of the MA1 dongle, but SGW Global had previously stated that there was no inventory issue, and it could have been a result of supply chain and logistic difficulties.
But since the problem has persisted for more than a month, a valid inference could be drawn to the unavailability of inventory for the MA1 wireless Android Auto dongle. Even with the higher price offered by Scalpers and a few other outlets, the Motorola MA1 Android Auto dongle continues to sell like hotcake. It is the first Google-license dongle for adding wireless Android Auto cars with the wired version. More details are expected from SGW Global on the issue.
Yamaha is making inroads into the electric scooter market in Europe with the launch of the NEO e-scooter and it squares up nicely against 50cc combustion-engine equivalent models. The Yamaha NEO e-scooter is designed for daily urban use with a nice touch of aesthetics. It has compact body features and a soft-rounded design that enhance the relaxed feel when using the e-scooter.
The Yamaha NEO is easy to ride, ultra-quiet, zero-emission and comes with minimal maintenance when compared with its combustion equivalents and other e-scooters in its segment. The NEO is a reflection of the trajectory of development of electric vehicle technology pursued by Yamaha for over 30 years. The NEO is equipped with up-to-date technology that puts it on a sound pedestal in the European EV market. It sports Yamaha’s proprietary YIPU (Yamaha Integrated Power Unit) rear wheel hub and rear brake systems. The Motor Control Unit (MCU) of the NEO is housed within the rear swingarm and is detachable, being held by five bolts.
The NEO e-scooter uses brushless technology, is air-cooled and it is also quite noiseless, giving just 55dB within a 7-meter radius. It has a significantly reduced number of moving parts in comparison with a combustion-powered scooter, which implies fewer issues in terms of downtimes. The Lithium-ion battery of the Yamaha NEO offers a riding range of about 37km, which can be further scaled up to 68km with an additional battery. The power system ensures auto-optimization of the battery when it goes below a threshold to extend the range before a recharge is done.
The battery of the Yamaha NEO can be charged directly on the bike or removed and charged and this could take up to eight hours to fully restore its juice. The battery itself sits under the driver’s seat and thereby offers greater legroom for the rider. The battery can heat up to a maximum of 25 degrees Celsius which is not bad. The MyRide app provides more depth in the functionality of the NEO and there are varying riding modes present with the e-scooter. As per colors, two variants will be available namely black and white, and it remains to be seen what kind of reception awaits the Yamaha NEO e-scooter in Europe.
Next week, there will be 3 smartphone launch events. Interestingly, all of them are by Xiaomi. The first one will be by the global arm of the company, the second one will be hosted by the Indian division, and the third one will be held by the sub-brand Redmi in China. Two of these conferences are for brand new phones, while the remaining one is for already official handsets making their way to new markets.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at these launch events one by one.
Xiaomi has confirmed to debut the Xiaomi 12 series in international markets on March 15. The event will be live-streamed on the company’s official YouTube channel and social media handles starting from 8 PM GMT+8.
According to leaks, all the three devices in the lineup will be presented at this conference. They will be the exact same phones without any changes in the specs.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is said to cost €1,099-€1,199, while the vanilla Xiaomi 12 is tipped to retail at €849-€899. Finally, the Xiaomi 12X is expected to be priced at €649-€699.
The Xiaomi 12 series was first announced in China on December 28, 2021.
2. Redmi 10
Xiaomi has scheduled a launch event in India for March 17 (Thursday). The company will be unveiling a new Redmi 10 for the country at this conference. The live stream will kickstart at 12 PM IST on Redmi India’s official YouTube channel.
The Redmi 10 set to release in India will be different than the international Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 2022. This latest phone has been confirmed to arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, faster storage (probably UFS), a large notched display, a 50MP dual rear camera system, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a huge battery, and 18W fast charging support.
Going by a leak, this handset may break cover as Redmi 10C in Europe. In that case, the exact features will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, 6.71-inch notched display (LCD), 5MP selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery, and 18W fast charging
3. Redmi K50 Series
The third and final event of next week will be by Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi. The conference will take place in China on March 17 (Thursday). It will begin at 7 PM CST and will be live-streamed on Weibo and other popular Chinese video platforms.
The star of the event will be the Redmi K50 series. The brand will announce three models, namely Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+. They are expected to house Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, MediaTek Dimensity 8100, and MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipsets respectively.
The Pro models are said to sport an OIS-enabled 108MP triple camera setup. Talking about the design, all three will resemble vivo smartphones.
Apart from the aforementioned handsets, Redmi will be also unveiling a TV, a laptop, and a router.
Last month, Oppo announced the Oppo Find X5 series comprising the Find X5 and X5 Pro phones in some European markets. Both phones come with powerful Snapdragon SoC and have Hasselblad branded cameras. Now, the series has landed in the United Kingdom and the pre-orders have begun.

The non-Pro version lacks GPS support, a microphone, and an Alexa assistant.
OSOM, a smartphone brand built by the brains behind Essential, will soon launch its first smartphone in the market. The device will be called the OSOM OV1, and its leaks have been all over the Internet. Now, the company took to Twitter to reveal its front panel and also confirm its unique privacy-centric Type-C cable.
As per the company’s tweet, the OSOM OV1 will support a different kind of USB Type-C cable. It won’t just be another charging cable, rather, it will have a toggle that will let users switch between two modes – a mode to pass data and a power-only mode.
It seems to basically offer what the software usually asks for when plugged into a computer. Instead of getting permission from the device, it appears to let users choose the USB options with this physical toggle.
Apart from the USB Type-C cable, the phone’s front design is also revealed. Although only the lower half of the portion is revealed, we get to see that it has a thin-bezel design featuring a modern aspect ratio. The device also appears to have some privacy-centric apps pre-installed. It comes loaded with the Brave browser, Signal, the camera app, and what looks like the company’s own Privacy app.
Other than this, the phone’s back panel and some specs have already been leaked. The OSOM OV1 will come with a stainless steel chassis, a Gorilla Glass Victus back panel, and a dual-camera system.
It will have a 48MP + 12MP dual-rear camera system. On the front, it will equip a 16MP snapper. The phone is said to have an OLED display, dual-SIM support, and 5G connectivity. As for the power, the device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship SoC.
OnePlus has recently released a new software update for their OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro devices that claims to fix a bunch of problems users have been complaining about for quite some time.

Honor Magic4 Pro and the OPPO Find X5 Pro are powered by the same flagship processor: the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 running at a max frequency of 3 GHz, paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Given that there are no important differences in the hardware department, the software will play the most important role in terms of performance. Note that the ColorOS 12 is actually a more advanced user interface than Magic UI 6.0, at least in the global market. So you should get something more with the OPPO flagship.

On the paper, the Honor Magic4 Pro has superior camera hardware. It comes with a pair of 50 MP cameras including an ultrawide one, as well as a 64 MP periscope camera with 3.5x optical zoom and an additional TOF 3D sensor for depth calculation. The Realme C35 was launched a few days back in the Indian market. The smartphone comes with a new design and offers an FHD+ display, triple cameras, and a UNISOC chipset. Starting from tomorrow, the phone will go on sale in India. Let’s take a look at its price and specs.
The Realme C35 will go on sale tomorrow, i.e. on March 12, at 12 PM on Flipkart. The smartphone can also be purchased from the Realme India website.
The device comes in two variants – a 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant priced at Rs. 11,999 ($157) and a 4GB RAM/128GB storage variant priced at Rs. 12,999 ($170). The phone can be picked up in two colorvariants– Glowing Black and Glowing Green.
Realme C35 Specifications
The Realme C35 sports a 6.6-inch water-drop notch display with an FHD+ (2408 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is an LCD panel with up to a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Realme claims that it has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7% and a peak brightness of 600 nits.

Redmi’s 10C is expected to launch soon in different markets. In fact, the smartphone was recently spotted in a retailer listing giving away its press shot. Now, MySmartPricehas revealed the European pricing, variants, and colors of the budget smartphone. Additionally, the phone’s live images have been surfaced on the Internet.
The Redmi 10C is touted to release soon in the European market. The device will cost between EUR 150 to EUR 200 in the region. It will come in a single 4GB RAM and 128GB storage option. As for the colors, the device will come in three color options – Grey, Green, and Blue.

Oppo recently unveiled its 150W and fast charging technology that is set to debut on a OnePlus device scheduled to launch in Q2 2022. However, a OnePlus device with a fast charge capacity of 160W has appeared on China’s 3C certification website.
First spotted by MySmartPrice, the listing reveals that the device has the model number PGKM10 and is a 5G mobile phone device. The information is somewhat confusing as up until now, the PGKM10 model number has been related to the upcoming OnePlus tablet, dubbed the OnePlus Pad. However, it is hard to imagine OnePlus debuting a tablet with that high fast charging capacity while Oppo’s tablet, which debuted just a couple of weeks ago, comes with 33W fast charging.
There are a few candidates that can come with this 160W SuperVOOC fast charge. The device could be a OnePlus 10 series variant. A recent leak revealed that OnePlus is working on a device that has a Dimensity 8100 SoC, a 6.7-inch OLED display, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera. The other candidate for this charging rate could be the rumoredOnePlus 10 Ultra, which was first exposed through OnePlus design patents.
For now, the information available is too scarce, so we would prefer to wait for more details to surface before making any further assumptions.
China-based electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng Motors first announced its third production model dubbed XPeng P5 in April last year. The EV was touted to be the world’s first smart car to be equipped with automotive-grade LiDAR technology. Nearly one year after, the company has now launched the P5 electric sedan in Europe. The car is now available for pre-orders in four European countries namely, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.
The Chinese company has been making rapid inroads into Europe for almost a year now. The company unveiled its flagship P7 sedan in Norway in August last year. The EV’s launch in Norway marked the brand’s debut on the international market.
While the design of the global Xpeng P5 is the same as that of the Chinese variant, the features are markedly different. As stated earlier, the P5 is the world’s first smart car to be equipped with automotive-grade LiDAR technology. The European P5 won’t feature the Lidar technology. However, it is equipped with Xpilot 2.5, Xpeng’s advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) bringing autonomous driving with a driver still on the wheels. This feature doesn’t require Lidar to work.
Xpeng is building on its in-house developed autonomous driving tech and other features in a bid to appeal to buyers. The company is betting on these features to drive sales in Europe. No doubt the sleek build of its EVs will also contribute to its market growth.
Samsung recently unveiled their Galaxy A13 4G smartphone earlier this month, and it appears that the Galaxy A13 5G will also soon be hitting the Indian market.
A 91mobiles report states that Samsung has started production of the Galaxy A13 5G smartphones at the Greater Noida factory in India. The news comes through industry sources, so we can expect the Galaxy A13 5G to debut in the coming week.

The dewdrop notch (Infinity-V) on the top houses a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity options on the phone include sub-6GHz 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The remaining specs comprise a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a single speaker, Android 11, a 5,000mAh battery, and 15W charging.
As for the pricing, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G was launched in the US for USD 249 (approx Rs 18,700). We expect the phone’s price in India to be lower in comparison.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro series will be available for purchase through Amazon India, Mi India’s online store, Mi Store app, and authorized resellers. The first sale of the Note 11 Pro 4G will be carried out at 12 pm (local time) on March 23, whereas the Note 11 Pro 5G will go on sale for the first time at 12 pm (local time) on March 15. Like its predecessor, the smartphones will likely be sold through flash sales, so we advise readers to be prepared as the stock will likely run out in a few minutes.

Last month, OnePlus launched their second-generation core edition smartphone dubbed the OnePlus Nord CE 2 which brings along the Dimensity 900 SoC and 65W SuperVOOC fast charging. And now, early renders of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite have surfaced giving us a rough idea of the design of the upcoming phone.

According to the renders revealed by 91mobiles, the Nord CE 2 Lite will likely get a glossy plastic rear panel with a metal frame around it. The rear panel appears to house a rectangular camera island that holds a triple camera setup with two large lenses and one smaller sensor. The LED flash will also be present on the camera island.
On the right side of the frame, we get a power button that will also come with an integrated fingerprint scanner. On the left side of the frame, we get the volume rocker and a hybrid SIM slot. On the bottom, we can observe a Type-C port, a speaker grille, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. And like the Nord CE 2, the Lite variant will also be missing the Alert Slider.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite specs (rumored)
According to previous reports, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will likely come with a 6.59-inch FHD ‘fluid’ display, which means that it will support a refresh rate higher than 60Hz. The panel type could, however, be an LCD instead of an AMOLED.
The device is also said to come with the Snapdragon 695 SoC with support for 5G connectivity and will run Android 12 out of the box. The phone will house a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
For photography, the Nord CE 2 Lite will have a triple camera setup at the rear, comprised of a 64MP OmniVision primary camera, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The selfie shooter upfront will be a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor.
Current rumors suggest that the Nord CE 2 Lite will come with a starting price as low as Rs 20,000 ($262).
While Apple was believed to launch new Mac Mini PCs this year, a new report has suggested that the brand has shifted its launch to next year. The news arrives from a known analyst who shared the news earlier today (11th March 2022).
According to Ming-Chi Kuo on Twitter, the Cupertino based giant will be launching the new Mac Mini in 2023. Notably, the analyst had shared his prediction for the upcoming Mac lineup for 2022 and 2023 just last week. He had claimed that Apple is planning on releasing a new high end Mac Mini and a 27 inch external display without mini LED display tech later this year. But now, he shared an update, which stated that this Mac Mini model has been delayed to next year.
Apart from this, Kuo also stated that the Mac Pro and iMac Pro will also be arriving sometime in 2023. As if right now, the company’s latest Mac Mini’s are available with M1 chipset, alongside Intel variants as well. So, we can expect to see the next gen model featuring the new M2 chip, or possibly even the M2 Pro as well. A recent report had hinted at the M2 chipset being featured on the new 13 inch MacBook Pro, 24 inch iMac, and Mac Mini, which are currently in development.
This chip would be the successor to the M1 and offer the same 8 core CPU, but with improvements to both performance and energy efficiency. Talking about the next gen Mac Mini, it is expected to receive a design refresh, which will have it be built on a smaller chassis, a plexiglass like top, and two tone color options. A few days back, Xiaomi brought the Redmi Note 11 Pro lineup to India comprising of two devices. These are the exact same smartphones that were announced in Europe and other markets a few weeks back.
