China produces most of the phones around the globe. However, Apple and SAMSUNG occupies almost half of the market share, and there is very little room left for the local phone makers. While China has more than 1 billion clients in its mobile market, allowing potential growth for the local electronic industry, phones sold over the price tag of 3000 RMB ($481) can rarely compete with Apple or SAMSUNG.
Yi-duan Tech. is releasing OONE in the hopes of reaching the high-end smartphone market as a third choice besides Apple and SAMSUNG. The product went through one year of development and 4 trial runs in the hands of about 300 social elites, and it’s now ready to hit the market.
OONE One-O1 features ultra slim and lightweight design. Yi-duan says the phone’s 5.67 mm, weighs 99 grams, comes in blue, white, and black, and uses CNC router and double-sided Kang Ning third generation Gorilla glass. The new model is scheduled for sale early-May, but only 60,000 phones are produced in the first batch. The company is expecting the best and planning ahead for the worst—if the first batch failed to hit the market, the company is planning on giving them as gifts to high-end clients to promote the brand among social elites and prepare for the sales of the next model.

Huawei Glory 3X Pro photos leaked, rumoured to have Faux Leather designs
Samsung introduced some novelty in its design features, when it launched its Galaxy Note 3. The change in look and feel of the Samsung branded handset was highlighted by its faux leather back design, which made it different from its conventional glossy plastic designs too. To add to it, Samsung succeeded in dampening the tone of the critics who went off on it for the excessive Plastic usage.
However, Huawei might be catching up! Well, thanks to technology (Oh, and a few leaked photos via G for Games)- that shows off Huawei right on the track, flaunting new faux leather design. Huawei Honor 3X pro, the handheld device in limelight, is again being speculated to be able to be a challenger for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in terms of money!
The Huawei Honor 3X Pro comes with several eye-catching features, and is said to be equipped with a 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display. Fuelled by 2GB of Random Access Memory and 16 GB onboard storage, the device is said to be powered by a MediaTek MT6592 octa-core chipset. Oh well, many more features exhibited by this device include its 13 MP primary camera, and a 5 MP front camera. All this comes for about $272- That’s a cake with cherry on top!
However, it is speculated that it can gain access to the markets of China. The device looks great, but its ability has not been proved. All that glitters isn’t always gold, right? Whatever the speculations might be, we still need to wait for Huawei to go for an official announcement, until when we can’t be really serious about the release.

Head to Head Android Matchup: LG G Flex vs OnePlus One
LG G Flex phone arrived in Canada in January and will be facing strong competition in June from OnePlus, when the new Chinese company will release its powerful and reasonably priced OnePlus One. These two phones make for an interesting comparison, The LG G Flex boasts unique features, and the OnePlus One is a strong and affordable flagship phone from a new producer hungry to bite into the Canadian Market.
Upstart Chinese company, OnePlus, is set to release its flagship smartphone, the One. It runs Android 4.4 Kitkat featuring the Cyanogemod 11S. The One has high-specs and a reasonable price tag. The display of the G Flex is larger, but less powerful at 720p compared to the Full HD 1080p of the One. A state-of-the-art 2.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM gives the One a power and performance advantage over the G Flex which has an older Snapdragon chipset and only 2GB RAM. Neither phone has room for expanded storage; the One comes in 16GB and 64GB options while the G Flex offers 32GB. The One boasts more powerful cameras in the front and rear.
Unique features to the LG G Flex are a slightly curved screen, offering easier accessibility in pockets if nothing else, and a curious self-healing feature to fix scuffs and scratches on the back of the phone. It works, to an extent, but is not a technology which is extremely useful at this point. The G flex wins in the battery category with a replaceable 3,500mAh compared to the fixed 3,100mAh of the One.
All things considered, the One is a clear winner. The high-spec approach of OnePlus One into the Canadian market sets it ahead of the significantly more expensive LG G Flex. The larger curved screen and gimmicky self-healing feature cannot compete with the One when the One retails outright for half or less than the G Flex. For those looking for a powerful new Android device, waiting till June for the affordable and powerful One is a persuasive option.

Only users from the following countries are eligible: Canada, United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spaid, Sweden, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong SAR China and Taiwan.
Opposition to the campaign was forthcoming from people and groups opposed to the haphazard destruction of functioning high tech equipment. The rare earth metals which are essential to making smartphones have high social and environmental costs of extraction. Android Central made the simple suggestion that the phones be donated rather than destroyed, OnePlus has since May 2nd made that an option for winners. The donations will be given to MedicMobile.
