Xiaomi, Oppo & Vivo are currently among the biggest players in the Android smartphone industry and have all released Ultra variants of their flagship smartphones. This includes the Xiaomi 14 Ultra (review), the Oppo Find X7 Ultra, and the Vivo X100 Ultra (review). We have previously made comparisons between the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and the Oppo Find X7 Ultra, as well as the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and the Vivo X100 Ultra. This article will compare the Vivo X100 Ultra with the Oppo Find X7 Ultra.

Design & display

Design-wise, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra and the Vivo X100 Ultra share some similarities as both the devices have large circular camera modules on their back housing multiple camera lenses. However, the Find X7 Ultra features a distinct two-tone design on its back that makes it stand out. The Find X7 Ultra has a vegan leather back, while the X100 Ultra comes with a metallic-looking back that’s coated with glass.

Both of these devices feature excellent curved OLED displays with QHD+ resolution, however, the display on the Find X7 Ultra is slightly bigger (6.82-inch) than the X100 Ultra (6.78-inch). Both have support for 3,000 nits peak brightness and 120Hz variable refresh rate. One notable thing is that the X100 Ultra uses an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is better and much faster compared to the optical sensor on the Find X7 Ultra.

Lastly, the Find X7 Ultra has an IP68 water and dust-resistant rating, while the Vivo X100 Ultra is certified with IP68 and IP69. What this means is that other than surviving 1.5m submersion in water for 30 minutes, the device can also withstand close-range high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.

Cameras

The cameras are what make these devices “Ultra”. Starting with the hardware, both devices use a 50 MP Sony LYT-900 one-inch sensor with 23mm focal length as their primary cameras. They both also use a 50 MP sensor for the secondary camera with a 14 mm focal length, however, the Find X7 Ultra’s ultra-wide camera has a 123-degree field of view, compared with 116 degrees on the X100 Ultra. The X100 Ultra is equipped with a 200 MP Samsung HP9 periscope telephoto lens capable of 3.7x optical and 100x digital zoom. On the other hand, the Find X7 Ultra has two 50 MP telephoto cameras with 3x and 6x periscope zoom, and a maximum digital zoom of up to 120x.

The X100 Ultra uses a gimbal OIS for its primary camera, while the Find X7 Ultra provides optical image stabilization for its primary, as well as both the telephoto cameras. It’s also worth mentioning that the Vivo device uses Zeiss T* coated ultra-clear lenses. On the front, the Vivo device has a 50 MP selfie camera, while the Oppo device uses a 32 MP sensor. Moving over to video capabilities, the X100 Ultra can shoot 8K@30fps and 4K@30/60/120fps. The Find X7 Ultra is limited to shooting 4K videos at 30/60fps.

With the hardware out of the way, we go to camera quality and image processing. Currently, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra has an edge in this department, evident by its crowning as DxOMark’s best camera phone back in March. It is excellent for capturing portraits and natural skin tones, as well as distortion-free, detailed images in low-light scenarios. The Vivo X100 Ultra is a bit lacking in terms of camera polish since it hasn’t been long since the smartphone made its debut. The camera system on the X100 Ultra is expected to get better in the coming months with updates.

Performance

Both the Vivo and Oppo Ultra phones feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0, so they are pretty even in terms of performance. They both can easily handle demanding tasks for long periods thanks to their heat management systems.

The battery on the X100 Ultra is bigger at 5,500mAh and supports 80W wired and 30W wireless charging, while the Find X7 Ultra has a 5,000mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC charging and 50W wireless charging support.

Pricing & availability

The Vivo X100 Ultra has a starting price of 6,499 Yuan (~$897) for the 12GB + 256GB model, while the Find X7 Ultra has a starting price of 5,999 Yuan (~$828). The 16GB + 512GB variant of these devices has a price tag of 7,299 Yuan (~$1,007) and 6,999 Yuan ($966), respectively. The Vivo 100 Ultra comes with a 16GB +1TB model as well which costs CNY 7,999 (~$1,104).

Unfortunately, both of these devices are China-exclusive, meaning that global customers interested in these devices will have to import them via sellers like Geekwills.

Verdict

Both the Vivo X100 Ultra and Oppo Find X7 Ultra are top-of-the-line smartphones packed with cutting-edge hardware. Vivo’s offering comes with some exceptional features like an IP69 water and dust-resistant rating and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. On the other hand, the Find X7 Ultra from Oppo has an eye-catching design with a vegan leather finish, a cheaper price tag, and faster wired and wireless charging.

All that said, the Vivo X100 Ultra is still somewhat lacking in camera optimization compared to the Find X7 Ultra, which gives Oppo’s offering a significant edge over Vivo’s Ultra phone. This might change in the future, as Vivo rolls out updates to polish its camera experience.

OPPO Find X7 was already introduced together with OPPO Find X7 Ultra on January 12th. OPPO introduced the Find X7 in purple, brown, blue, and black colors initially, and it appears that in addition to these color options, OPPO will also offer the white edition.

OPPO stops manufacturing purple Find X7, and offer the white instead

OPPO Find X7 is a very stylish phone and we can say it is a true flagship device with the solid camera sensors. While the Find X7 is stylish, we can’t say it to be a compact device as the phone is 8.7mm thick, packing a 5000 mAh battery and supporting 100W charging and OPPO seems to be adding a fifth color option to the 4 different color choices. Note that the Find X7 comes with two different back covers: leather and glass.

A user on Weibo asked Zhou Yibao, who is in charge of the OPPO Find series, if there really is a white version of the Find X7, and Zhou Yibao confirmed that the white variant of the Find X7 will actually be introduced. It was previously rumored that a white version of the OPPO Find X7 might be introduced, and now it has been confirmed after a post by an OPPO executive. Additionally, rumors suggest that production of the purple color variant of the Find X7 has been discontinued and will be replaced by the white color variant instead.

While the potential end of the Purple Find X7 might be a bummer for some, OPPO introducing a White version is a smart move if the Purple option isn’t getting much love from buyers. It seems we will be having fewer purple OPPO phones in the future.

China Mobile, a leading telecommunications operator in China, announced the commercial launch of its 5G-A (5G Advanced) network, also known as 5.5G. The OPPO Find X7 series will be the first smartphones to support this new technology.

China Mobile Announces Commercial Launch of 5G-A

5.5G promises significant improvements over 5G, including 10 times faster network capacity, peak downlink rates in the tens of gigabits per second, and millisecond-level latency. This translates to faster downloads, smoother streaming, and more responsive online gaming.

The new technology also aims to improve connection scale, enabling a low-cost trillion-level Internet of Things (IoT) network. Additionally, 5.5G integrates air and space networks, potentially providing wider coverage.

China Mobile says it has played a leading role in developing 5G-A standards and will launch the world’s largest commercial deployment of the network in over 300 cities this year. The company also plans to promote the release of over 20 5G-A compatible phones within the year.

To showcase the new network, China Mobile has established 5G-A demonstration halls in various locations across China. Customers with the OPPO Find X7 Ultra can visit these halls to experience the 5.5G network firsthand.

China Mobile’s Vice President, Gao Tongqing, stated that this launch will further accelerate the development of new information infrastructure and unlock the full potential of 5G technology. The company plans to achieve widespread adoption of 5.5G in China through partnerships with manufacturers and chip suppliers.

The first batch of 100 cities to receive commercial 5G-A networks include major metropolitan areas like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

The latest high-end chipsets from each — Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300 — are virtually tied in performance.

For the second consecutive month, the Dimensity 9300 chip powers the top-performing smartphone, the Oppo Find X7, according to AnTuTu benchmarks. With a score of 2,195,036, it edges out its rivals. The Dimensity 9300’s edge could be its use of ARM’s powerful cores, specifically 4 x Cortex-X4 and 4 x Cortex-A720 cores.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, comes in as a close second. The newest flagship smartphones from OPPO have made their official debut in China. The lineup comprises two devices: the Find X7 and the Find X7 Ultra. In this article, we’ll delve into the specifics of the standard model, as we’ve previously covered the Find X7 Ultra in a separate piece.

OPPO Find X7 specs:

In terms of design, the OPPO Find X7 bears a striking resemblance to the Find X7 Ultra, showcasing a sizable circular camera module accommodating three camera sensors within four cutouts. The phone is available in four variants: Sea and Sky, Desert Moon Silver, Smokey Purple, and Starry Sky Black. The Black and Purple options boast a glass back panel housing the prominent circular camera module, while the remaining two showcase a dual-tone design enhanced by a leather finish on the lower portion. The right side of the smartphone houses the power and volume buttons, while the left side features an alert slider.

Whereas, the remaining three conferences will be held globally. Asus will take wraps off its newest gaming smartphones, while Poco will announce fresh mid-rangers. Finally, Oppo will bring its new Reno handsets to international markets.

Upcoming Smartphones Next Week

Oppo Find X7 Series

The Oppo Find X7 series is scheduled to launch in China on January 8. The conference will kickstart at 2:30 PM local time (GMT+8).

The lineup will consist of two devices, namely Oppo Find X7 and Oppo Find X7 Ultra. The vanilla model will house a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip, while the ultra variant will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The Find X7 Ultra will arrive with a 50MP Sony LYT-900 1-inch main camera, two periscope telephoto shooters, a leather finish, and satellite communication.

Asus ROG Phone 8 Series

Asus will unveil the ROG Phone 8 series at CES on January 8. At least two models are expected, namely ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro. There could be an ‘Ultimate’ variant as well.

All of them will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Their high refresh rate OLED display will have minimal bezels compared to the previous iterations.

The phones will also be IP68-rated for dust and water resistance. The pro version is anticipated to feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, a 13MP ultrawide unit, and a 32MP telephoto shooter.

Motorola Moto G34 5G

Motorola will debut the Moto G34 5G in India on January 9. As the name suggests, it is a budget 5G smartphone.

The handset offers a 6.5-inch 120Hz HD+ display (LCD), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip, a 50MP main camera, a 16MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 18W charging support.

The device is tipped to cost ₹10,999 for 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Poco X6 Series and Poco M6 Pro

The Poco X6 series and Poco M6 Pro are set to go official on January 11. The X6 lineup is a tweaked version of the existing Redmi handsets, while the M6 Pro is a newer product.

The Poco X6 is a rebranded Redmi Note 13 Pro, which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip. On the other hand, the Poco X6 Pro houses a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC as it is a rebadged Redmi K70e.

Finally, the Poco M6 Pro is a 4G-only device powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra chip. It will come with a 120Hz OLED display, a 64MP primary camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 67W charging support.

Oppo Reno 11 Series

The Oppo Reno 11 series will make its global debut on January 11. The lineup will include two models, namely Oppo Reno 11 and Oppo Reno 11 Pro.

The Reno 11 Pro for international markets is expected to be the same as the variant sold in China. However, the vanilla Reno 11 for global markets will be different from the original model.

The international Reno 11 will arrive with a less powerful MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC and faster 80W wired charging support. However, it will retain the 32MP telephoto camera and 120Hz curved display.

Honor Magic 6 Series

Honor has scheduled conferences for January 10 and 11. The brand will be unveiling the Magic 6 series on either of these dates.

Three handsets are anticipated, such as Honor Magic 6, Honor Magic 6 Pro, and Honor Magic 6 Porsche Design. So far, the company has officially disclosed the design of the pro version.

The Magic 6 Pro will come with a quad-curved OLED display, pill-shaped cutout, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a face authentication system, and 100W charging support.

The Oppo Find X7 series is set to debut in three different models with no “Pro” model, including the Oppo Find X7, Find X7 Ultra, and Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Version. The standard Oppo Find X7 is expected to ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, while the ultra models will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Both devices have a couple of LPDDR5x RAMs and UFS 4.0 storage.

The Oppo Find X7 will have a 6.78-inch BOE 8T OLED display with 1.5K resolution, while the Ultra models will embed a 6.82-inch BOE 8T OLED 2K resolution display panel. All three models will support a 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming.

In the camera section, the standard version will house a 50MP LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 64MP Omnivision OV64 telephoto lens with 3x zoom and OIS support. The Ultra versions will feature a 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor with OIS and a 50MP LYT800 ultrawide. There will be a couple of telephoto lenses, including a 50MP IMX858 sensor with OIS and 6x optical zoom and a 50MP IMX890 sensor with OIS and 3x optical zoom.

All three devices will feature the same 5000 mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging. While the Ultra variants will additionally support 50W wireless charging,. The Oppo Find X7 Ultra’s packaging box has also been leaked, giving us a glimpse of it.

Oppo and Honor are the only major Chinese brands left to unveil their latest flagship smartphones. Lately, more details about these phones are emerging on the internet indicating an imminent launch.

A reliable tipster has now revealed when we can expect these handsets to go official. As per him, both these product lineups will be announced at around the same time. Let’s go through the details.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find X7 series and the Honor Magic 6 series will launch around January 8-10. This means they will debut before the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.

As per leaks, both the lineups will consist of the following three models each.

Oppo Find X7 Series

• Oppo Find X7 Ultra

Honor Magic 6 Series

Out of all these phones, the vanilla Find X7 will be the only one with a different chipset. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. Whereas, the remaining handsets will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

The entire Find X7 series will feature zoom cameras. In fact, the ‘Pro’ and ‘Ultra’ will be equipped with two periscope zoom cameras as opposed to one on the standard model.

The Find X7 Pro will retain the display from its predecessor. It will be fitted with a 6.82-inch quad-curved OLED display offering a QHD+ resolution and 1-120Hz refresh rate (LTPO). It will also come with an alert slider.

On the other hand, the Honor Magic 6 series is said to arrive with an improved ToF 3D face recognition system, a variable aperture camera, a 160MP periscope camera, and an AI model with 7 billion parameters.

We’ve been hearing a lot about the upcoming Oppo Find X7 series. Recently, the Pro model’s schematic also surfaced online, revealing a dual-periscope telephoto camera design. Now, a render of the standard Find X7 has appeared on Twitter/X.

In the render, we can see the Find X7 in a green hue, featuring a large circular camera island on the back. The camera lenses are arranged in a ‘T’ shape, accompanied by a Hasselblad logo.

According to earlier reports, the camera setup will be led by a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary camera, complemented by a 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens.

We can also see an LED light placed in the left corner above the camera module. This leaked render of the Find X7 reveals a design that closely follows the schematics of the Find X7 Pro, maintaining a cohesive look across the series. Moving to the front, the device has a curved screen with a centrally aligned punch-hole cutout.

Under the hood, the Find X7 is expected to pack a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor. It is built on TSMC’s 4nm process and includes one Cortex-X4 core at 3.25GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores at 2.85GHz, and four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.0GHz.

Likewise, the phone is said to have a 120Hz refresh rate, 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The charging may come in at 100W, and it’s expected to pack a 5000mAh battery.

Oppo hasn’t shared details about the Find X7 series devices yet. There are rumors about three models: Find X7, X7 Pro, and X7 Ultra. Except for the vanilla model, we’ve been also regularly updating details about the other models, which you can find at Find X7 Pro and Find X7 Ultra.

Yesterday, tipster Digital Chat Station released a Weibo post in which he mentioned the names of three devices, such as the Find X7, the Find X7 Pro, and the Find X7 Ultra. Reports have claimed that the Find X7 will have the Dimensity 9300 chipset, whereas the Find X7 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Today, the tipster also shared some information on the X7 Ultra’s chipset and the battery capacities of each of the X7 series models.

It can be said based on the latest leak by DCS that the Find X7 will feature the D9300 chip and a 5,000mAh battery. The Pro model will have the SD8G3 chip and a 4,860mAh battery.

The Find X7 Ultra appears to be an advanced version of the Pro model, as it is tipped to feature the SD8G3 chip and a 5,000mAh battery. The tipster did not mention anything else about the Ultra variant.

It appears that the model that was believed to feature the dual periscope cameras may carry the Ultra branding instead of the Pro. Hence, it is likely that the Find X7 Ultra’s camera module may feature a one-inch LYT-900 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, an IMX890 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and an IMX858 50-megapixel periscope zoom unit with 6x optical zoom. However, readers are advised to wait for newer reports to learn about the differences between the Find X7 Pro and X7 Ultra models.

Oppo Find X7 series is all set to launch very soon with some exciting features. There’s already curiosity among Oppo fans about the device, and some features have already been part of the latest leaks and revealed by public certifications. In addition, the upcoming Oppo Find X7 smartphone is leaked again, and this time its camera specifications are revealed along with slight information about its SoC. The smartphone that is set to feature 100W charging will feature Dimensity 9300.

As per the Digital Chat Station, the smartphone appears to bundle a triple-rear camera module. Oppo Find X7 series has received approval from the 3C certification platform, as both the Find X7 and X7 Pro models have emerged in the database of China’s 3C certification platform. With an important certification under the belt, it appears that the Find X7 series may debut in January in China.

The above screenshot shows that two upcoming Oppo smartphones bearing PHZ110 and PHY110 model numbers have received approval from China’s 3C authority. The listings reveal that both smartphones may ship with a 100W charger. To recall, the Find X6 supported 80W wired charging, whereas the X6 Pro offered 100W wired charging. The Pro variant also offered 50W wireless charging.

The PHZ110 device is said to be the Find X7, and it has been previously seen in the databases of benchmarking platforms such as AnTuTu and Geekbench. As per reports, the device will ship with a 1.5K OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, a Dimensity 9300 chipset, 16 GB of LPDDR5T RAM, and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The PHY110 variant could be the Find X7 Pro, which is said to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Recent reports have revealed that it will have a 6.82-inch quad-curved OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution. Its rear camera setup is said to feature a one-inch 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel IMX890 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and another 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (IMX858) with 6x optical zoom. According to the tipster, the Find X7 will come equipped with the BOE X1 display, which is the same screen available on the upcoming OnePlus 12. Recent reports have said that the OnePlus 12 will feature a 6.82-inch curved-edge OLED display with a high resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels. It boasts an LTPO 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and an impressive peak brightness of 4500 nits. It will offer a 510ppi pixel density, and it has a blue diamond arrangement for enhanced visuals. With Oppo’s Display P1 chip and a DisplayMate A+ rating for its 2K screen, the OnePlus 12 promises a premium and visually stunning viewing experience.

Regarding the Find X7 Pro, the leaker asserts that the company is currently undecided between BOE and Samsung’s E7 for the display, both of which would provide a 2K resolution. While almost all the major Chinese smartphone brands are gearing up to launch new flagship phones this year, Oppo seems to be on a different strategy. On Nov. 23, the brand will announce the Reno 11 series, but the Find X7 lineup is unlikely to debut this year. A new leak has revealed when the Find X7 and X7 Pro will be released in the Chinese market.

Find X7, X7 Pro launch timeframe (rumored)

According to the leaker, flagship phones, such as the Nubia Z60 Ultra, Honor Magic 6 Pro, and Find X7 Pro, will be announced before the Chinese Sprint Festival 2024, which will be held between Feb. 10 and Feb. 17. In another Weibo post, the same tipster has claimed that the Z60 Ultra will be announced in December this year, which suggests that the Honor Magic 6 Pro and Find X7 Pro will be unveiled by January end or early February. This indicates that the X7 lineup will debut earlier than the Find X6 series, which was announced in March of this year.

The Find X7 and X7 Pro will feature the Dimensity 9300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. The company has confirmed that the X7 series will arrive with support for satellite communication connectivity. However, the feature could likely be available only on the Pro model. The Find X7 series will feature the HyperTone camera system, which is confirmed to be available on the OnePlus 12 and the Reno 11 series.

The Find X7 Pro is expected to feature the upcoming one-inch LYT-900 primary camera, which is said to be a modified version of the IMX989. Vivo recently announced the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro as the world’s first smartphones equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chip. The Oppo Find X7, which is expected to launch in Q1 2024, could be the next flagship phone to feature the D9300 chip. Months before its official announcement, the X7, which bears the PHZ110 model number, has been benchmarked on AnTuTu. Here is a look at the details that have emerged through it.

OPPO Find X7 AnTuTu listing

On AnTuTu, the Find X7 scored 521,690 points on the CPU test, 911,683 points on the GPU test, 471,340 points on the memory test, and 365,964 points on the UX test. In total, the device achieved a marvellous score of 2,270,677.

The AnTuTu listing further reveals that it has a 120Hz refresh rate supporting display, Dimensity 9300 chipset, 16 GB of LPDDR5T RAM, and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device will run on Android 14, which will have a layer of ColorOS 14 on top.

For those who don’t remember, the PHZ110 Find X7 has previously been spotted with D9300, 16 GB RAM, and Android 14 on Geekbench. The device secured 2139 points in the single-core test and 7110 points in the multi-core test.

Oppo has officially confirmed that the Find X7 series will support the all-new HyperTone camera optimizations and satellite connectivity. The leaker claims that both premium grade smartphone series will feature a mini chipset for satellite communication technology, proprietary low power calling tech, and heat dissipation for improved performance.

The low power calling feature will likely compliment the satellite communication as an emergency contact method. Meanwhile, the heat dissipation technology will help lower thermal throttling to maintain high performance for longer with powerful chips like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on the Magic 6 series. On Nov. 8, during the annual photography forum keynote in France, Oppo and Hasselblad unveiled their collaborative project, the Hasselblad HyperTone camera system, for their flagship phones coming in 2024, starting with the Find X7 series. This initiative aims to lead the way in the realm of computational photography by leveraging aesthetic traction technology and effects.

Key features of HyperTone Camera System

According to Oppo, the HyperTone Image Engine is a revolutionary technology that employs computational photography to address common mobile photography challenges, including distortion. The HyperTone engine incorporates AI denoising in the RAW domain and offers precise pixel brightness correction using photon matrix technology. The result of these advancements is a 30 percent increase in image clarity and a remarkable 60 percent reduction in image noise. The new image processing includes tone mapping control and image fusion with digital negatives.

The HyperTone camera system is a combination of hardware and software enhancements comprising three key components:

• The main camera system, which offers increased zoom magnification and multiple viewing angles for creative freedom
• The image engine, which employs advanced calculations to reduce noise and increase image clarity
• The ProXDR display, which reaches a brightness of 12 million pixels, offers up to eight times greater dynamic range for a more realistic output

The company added that the Find X7 series features the industry’s most powerful zoom lens in its telephoto module, ensuring greater versatility in low-light conditions. For those who don’t know, the Find X7 and X7 Pro are expected to feature the Dimensity 9300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. The HyperTone camera system will also be featured on the OnePlus 12 and Oppo Reno 11 series of mobile phones.

MediaTek has finally unveiled its latest flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9300. The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, launching on Nov. 13, will be the first phones to feature the said chip. Soon after the announcement, Oppo also confirmed that its next Find-series phone will feature the Dimensity 9300 chip. In all likelihood, the Find X7 phone, which is expected to launch in Q1 2024, will be equipped with the newest Dimensity flagship chip.

OPPO Find X7 likely to feature Dimensity 9300

The Find X7 series will replace the Find X6 and Find X6 Pro, which came equipped with the Dimensity 9200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets, respectively. As per reports, the X7 lineup will have two models, such as the Find X7 and Find X7 Pro.

Recently, an upcoming Oppo phone with model number PHZ110 was spotted in the database of the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The listing revealed that the device is equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chip, 16 GB of RAM, and Android 14. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench 6, the device scored 2139 and 7110 points, respectively. It is speculated that the PHZ110 will debut in the market as the Oppo Find X7.

The Find X7 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. A recent report revealed that the Pro model will be equipped with a 1-inch LYT-900 camera sensor, which will also be seen on the Vivo X100 Pro+ and Xiaomi 14 Ultra premium flagship phones that are expected to launch next year.

A report from August claimed that the Find X7 Pro would be built to meet the shortcomings of the Find X6 Pro. It is also said to come with incremental upgrades, including an enhanced design. The X7 Pro is expected to feature a 2K-resolution display, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel (LYT-900) + 50-megapixel (LYT-700 ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (LYT-700) periscope telephoto camera. It may come with other specifications, such as 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 1 T of UFS 4.0 storage, and a big battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
