It’s been quite a while since we seen a new model from the Chinese manufacturer Ramos. The MOS1 Max turned out to be a decent phone with a large 5.5-inch display and 3050mAh battery. But after that the company has been quite about its smartphone plans. Recently, the company started teasing it’s Ramos R9 phone, but without giving out a release date for the device. Now, the real device has been leaked online in all its glory.

Like most Chinese manufacturers, Ramos is also following the trend of releasing an all metal device. According to the latest leaked images of the Ramos R9 smartphone, the phone will feature a metal body with a fingerprint sensor at the back. What’s more, there even a rose gold color available for the device.

The leaked images show off the R9 alongside two iPhones, namely the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. The display size lies between 4.7 and 5.5-inches, so it’s most likely going to be a 5.2-inch smartphone. The front seems to feature 2.5D arc design. Also, we don’t see any bezels on the side, but it’s probably because they are black in color which hides them when the display is turned off.

Unlike the recent surge in the metal bodied mid-rangers, the Ramos R9 is expected to be an upper mid-range device. The overall design looks premium with the camera and the flash on top left corner and the fingerprint sensor at the center.

Since this is expected to be an upper mid-range phone, pricing won’t be as cheap as other budget devices like the Redmi Note 3 or the Meizu Metal. Instead, you can expect the Ramos R9 to be priced somewhere around the 2000 Yuan ($315) mark. Of course, these are just speculations and we’ll come to know the exact specifications and pricing details once the phone is officially announced. Since the company has started to tease the device, the launch shouldn’t be very far off. So stay tuned!

A few months back, the well-known tablet manufacturer Ramos announced its entry to the mobile phone industry by launching the MOS1 smart phone.  Now, a new generation of Ramos’ first smartphone has also surfaced. The company is marketing the MOS1 Max as a device with 6000mAh+ plus battery and a 6-inch plus big screen.

The official digital poster of Ramos declares “Great vision on a huge screen? Or the feeling of comfort? MOS1 MAX is quite different.” The poster suggests that the smartphone will have both a large screen and a long battery life. Meanwhile, the digital poster obviously implies that the smart phone will have a screen larger than 6-inches on a slim and comfortable design.The company’s earlier teasers had hinted at a slim body, but we still don’t know how slim the company is aiming. Anything below 8mm with 6000mAh+ battery would be impressive, but we have a feeling that it could be a tad slimmer.

6 inch + screen, 6000mAh + battery, there is no doubt that this will be a giant screen smartphone.  The device will meet with you in October, which is just a few days away.

It was announced on an official Weibo micro blog that Ramos will be launching a new device called Mos1 MAX as their first smartphone. The micro blog stated that Ramos has achieved packing a large and long life battery inside a very slim device. Remember, Ramos Mos1 which was announced back in July? The phone came with a 3050mAh battery and this seems to be a Max version of the flagship.

A new leak also conspicuously revealed a battery capacity of 6xxxmAh, suggesting that the device will be equipped with at least 6000mAh large-capacity battery. The figures indicating the capacity on the back of the battery are redacted, but one can see the they begin with 6 and that the manufacturer is BYD. In addition, there are other users’ leaks suggesting that the MOS 1 MAX’s battery has a nominal voltage 3.85V and peak voltage 4.4V. Previously, another Chinese brand –  Innos Yi Luo has launched a 6000mAh battery on their D6000 smartphone. It was the world’s largest battery capacity in a mobile phone at that time. It is not yet known whether Ramos has gone beyond this.

The Mos1 MAX is expected to resemble the iPhone 6 in shape but with a slim 7.6mm overall thickness. The screen also might be extra-large with a possible size of 6 inches. The device is expected to be available in stores in October.

You must have heard of the Chinese company called Ramos, who is a well known tablet manufacturer. But a few weeks back, we got news that the company has decided to release a brand new smartphone called as the Mos1. This would also make it the company’s first smartphone.

Now, the Ramos Mos1 is finally official and most of the details are in line with what we have been hearing for the past few days. First of all, since this is the company’s first smartphone, it has paid special care in the phone’s design. The Ramos Mos1 reportedly comes with five sided crystal cutting design along with 2.D glass on both the sides. If you remember, even the recent Vivo X5Pro had 2.5D glass on both sides.

To further improve the body, the company has used 6063 aluminum alloy material, which is reportedly tough and corrosion resistant. The body is quite slim too, measuring just 6.6mm in thickness. Finally, to make things even better, the bezels have been slimmed down. The phone comes with pretty narrow 1.9mm bezels on the sides, improving the overall look.

As for the specs, its quite good. The phone comes with Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit chip under the hood. While we would have preferred something more powerful like Snapdragon 808, even 615 is fine as long as it doesn’t overheat. Other specs include 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing one. As for the software, the phone comes with MOUI 1.0 based on Android 5.0. The phone also comes with Hi-Fi Audio chip. 

Unfortunately, unlike earlier rumors which suggested that the phone will have a massive 4850mAh battery, the Ramos Mos1 actually comes with just a 3050mAh capacity battery. But the battery life should be good since it will be made by BYD, which is a well known manufacturer of automobile rechargeable batteries. Further, the phone supports Qualcomm Fast Charge 2.0, which should definitely speed up the charging time.

As of today, the Ramos K100 has officially gone on sale online. The quoted price of this tablet at JD.com is 1299 RMB. The 200 consumers to get this device will also receive a pair of earphones.

Yesterday, Ramos and Intel launched three new devices at the Beijing Film Director’s Center, the i9s, i7s, and i10s.

Members of Intel and Ramos upper-management as well as reporters and fans gathered to witness the birth of Ramos new Intel-processor-using tablets.

The star of the event was the Ramos i9s which uses Intel’s newest processor, the Intel Atom Z3735F which was made using 22nm 3D Tri-gate technology and the new Silvermont architecture. It has four cores, uses Intel Gen7 Graphics, supports DX11, HD, Intel Turbo Boost 2.0, and many others.

The Ramos i9s is the first tablet to use a 4.35V 8000mAh BYD battery. It is very powerful, safe and can last for 10 hours when the user surfs the web. Its default OS is the Lewa OS but it can be upgraded to Windows 8.1.

The i7s is 7 inches while the i10s is 10.1 inches. Both tablets support 3G and GPS. The designs and functions of both tablets should be enough to meet the user’s needs.

Users can surf the web using the i10s for up to 11 hours. It sports a 1290 x 1200 10.1-inch screen and its OS can be upgraded to Windows 8.1.

The i7s costs somewhere between 599RMB (97.48 USD) and 699 RMB (113.75 USD).

The price range for the i9s is 1099 RMB (178.84 USD)-1199 RMB (195.12 USD).

There are two small speakers at the bottom of the tablet. At first, I thought that it really only had one speaker and that the second speaker was just to make the tablet look prettier, but when I turned it on, both speakers let out a loud sound.

This tablet supports China Unicom 3G and China Mobile 2G.

The tablet’s compass is good while it’s gyroscope sucks! Actually, since there are not a lot of games that use gyroscopes, I could really care less.

As the dual OS tablet device, Intel plans to configure 10-11 inches display with Bay Trail-T processor price or the next generation of Cherry Trail processor combo computer products set at $288-$499 USD.

While the $599 dual OS tablet is plans to use Intel Bay Trail-M and Haswell-Y processor. In the second half of 2014, Broadwell-Y will become the main platform for this product, screen size will also increase to 11.6 inches or more.
