Xiaomi is finally pushing a stable HyperOS update for the Redmi K50 in China. The update with firmware 1.0.2.0.ULNCNXM is now rolling out to all users and weighs around 5.7GB in size. It is an incremental rollout and may take some time to reach each unit after successful verification with a small group of users. However, the update brings several new improvements and feature upgrades. More details are below:

The new update brings all the new features of HyperOS along with the luxuries of Android 14. With the new features and enhancements, the update also brings the January 2024 security patch. It aims to enhance the system’s performance and power efficiency. After the update, the smartphone may get overheated or have some issues for a couple of days. But it will get normal within a short time after its optimization for the new system is completed.

Redmi K50 initially received the HyperOS Developer Version and later beta builds, and now the Sable build is here. As listed in the second batch to receive the Hyper OS, the Redmi K50 is finally receiving it.

Users can head over to Device Settings > About > Software Update > Check for Update to grab the latest firmware. Before upgrading, make sure you have an ample amount of storage and battery left on your smartphone. Otherwise, it may cause issues that may even corrupt data.
