Last week Apple announced that the Vision Pro will be up for pre-orders starting January 19. The shipments will commence from February 2. It will also be available at the brand’s official store at the same time. The Cupertino-based tech giant has not announced the release of its mixed-reality headset outside the US. Now, notable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared some details about the Vision Pro’s availability outside the country.
Apple Vision Pro’s release outside the US tipped
Apple is likely to release Vision Pro outside the U.S. market before WWDC 2024 / Apple可能在WWDC 2024前,於美國以外市場發售Vision Prohttps://t.co/YorWSLEuEf
Kuo reports that Apple could launch the Vision Pro in the non-US markets before WWDC 2024. The company’s annual developer conference takes place in the first week of June. He adds that a release prior to the event would be beneficial for promoting the global development ecosystem of visionOS.
Additionally, the reason for not releasing the Vision Pro outside the US yet is attributed to three reasons. The first one is the limited initial supply of the mixed-reality headset. The second reason is that the sales process of the mixed reality headset go smoothly in the US. Lastly, Vision Pro’s release in non-US markets is due to the time needed to modify the algorithms to comply with the regulations in other countries.
Kuo says that the sooner the Apple Vision Pro will arrive in more countries the sooner aforementioned issues are resolved.
In the US, the Apple Vision Pro will be bundled with a Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band. There is also a Light Seal, two Light Seal Cushions, and an Apple Vision Pro Cover for the front of the device. The mixed-reality headset will come with a polishing cloth, a battery, a USB-C cable, and a USB-C adapter.

Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil the Xiaomi 14 Ultra flagship smartphone in the Chinese market soon. But ahead of any official announcement, a new certification listing has also confirmed the wireless camera kit that could be offered alongside this peripheral.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra Camera Kit surfaces on 3C certification
For those unaware, the top end Xiaomi 14 Ultra model is expected to launch sometime near the end of Q1 2024. Now, a 3C certification has listed the Xiaomi Wireless Camera Kit that could launch alongside this flagship smartphone. Looking at the listing, the camera kit carries the model number 2402CPS69C. This peripheral will be manufactured by Xiaomi’s Lens Technology and is a peripheral for the 14 Ultra model to help improve the photography experience.
The 3C certification confirms support for 5V charging and a 1,500mAh battery pack. The listing also reveals that the camera kit won’t launch with a power adapter. To recall, the last gen Xiaomi 13 Ultra launched with a wireless camera kit as well. It featured a case along with a 67mm adapter ring, a camera handle with a built in shutter button, and a lens cover. This peripheral supports Bluetooth 5.0 support.
This iteration went on sale for 799 Yuan (roughly 111 US Dollars), but it wasn’t exclusive to the Ultra and was compatible with other Xiaomi smartphones. So we can expect a similar price range for the latest variant. It is unclear if the new Xiaomi 14 Ultra Camera Kit will be released in the global market since last year’s model didn’t debut overseas. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to be announced globally (including India), so the camera kit will likely follow along.
