The Amazfit Helio Ring is said to be tailored toward athletes who seek the ultimate in recovery monitoring, analysis, and guidance. It is equipped with common health-tracking sensors like heart rate monitor, SpO2, stress, and sleep tracker. The Readiness score will monitor the sleep quality and physical exertion to notify if the user should push their limits. The Amazfit Helio Ring is also equipped with a built-in electrodermal activity sensor that measures high levels of stress through the sweat coming from hands.

This allows the functionalities of the ring to be expanded as data from both wearables can be fused to provide more insights. Additionally, there is also Zepp Aura AI subscription service for rest and wellness. It offers ambient sounds while sleeping and weekly and monthly sleeping reports.
Amazfit has not revealed the pricing of the Helio Ring. It will be available in early Spring this year.

The Oppo Reno 11 series was announced in China just recently after weeks of rumors and leaks. Now, the global release of the devices is also right around the corner. But the Reno 11 Pro was just spotted on a certification platform ahead of the global release.
Oppo Reno 11 Pro visits Google Play Console
The Chinese tech giant’s Reno 11 Pro global variant was spotted on the Google Play Console listing. Here, the device was carrying the CPH2607 model number. The listing also revealed key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. In China, the Reno 11 Pro came equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. But it seems that the global model has a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.
The processor was paired with 12GB of RAM and the ARM Mali G610 GPU under the hood on Google Play Console. It also runs on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. The certification confirmed the 2412 x 1080 resolution of the Reno 11 Pro’s display and a 480 PPI pixel density. An image of the handset can also be seen in the listing, which reveals its front display.
The smartphone features a display with curved edges and rounded corners, with a center aligned punch hole cutout for the selfie camera. The latest leak arrives from known tipster Digital Chat Station, who shared the information on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website). In the social media post, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The tipster adds that it won’t sport a 10-inch IPS LCD panel but a larger screen that may even support a 144Hz refresh rate. This is in line with our previous report.
The display will reportedly be surrounded by thinner bezels and the tablet may feature an improved design. The tipster claims that the base model has a camera module that resembles the one found on the Xiaomi 14 series. The tablet could even run on the Android 14 OS based HyperOS custom skin out of the box. Lenovo is joining hands with PANDAER to bring a special limited edition of one of its high end gaming laptops. The company is partnering up with PANDAER to bring the Legion Y9000P PANDAER edition of a gaming laptop. So let’s have a look.
To recall, PANDAER is a sub brand of Meizu and the brand is best known for its products that feature an eye catching design. In the official teaser, Lenovo states that the collaboration is a fusion of top end hardware and a trendy design. For those unaware, the Legion Y9000P gaming laptop is also known as the Legion Pro 7i in the global market. The special edition model appears to have similar internal specifications but the top panel appears to have an etching that resembles a dragon and the PANDAER x Legion branding.
In terms of specifications, the Legion Y9000P PANDAER edition gaming laptop is equipped with Intel’s i9-14900HX processor under the hood. As scheduled, Honor took wraps off the latest version of its mobile operating system — MagicOS 8.0, in China. The OS arrives with platform-level AI and intent-based user interface (IUI).
The brand also announced MagicLM, a proprietary on-device large language model. George Zhao, CEO of Honor, says that the company’s new software is a significant step towards bringing next-generation human-device interaction and ecosystem to users.

Magic Portal is the branding Honor is using for its intent-based user interface. In simpler words, it is a shortcut recommendation feature that lets users switch between app services with just a swipe.
At launch, Magic Portal already supports over 100 popular apps in China. These applications are spread across categories, like travel, productivity, social, search, entertainment, shopping, and food. Some of the most-used apps include Baidu Map, Amap, Didi, Bilibili, Douyin, Youku, and Alipay.
Further, MagicLM with seven billion parameters operates at a platform level with data processing on the device for enhanced privacy. Honor has partnered with Qualcomm to run it smoothly and efficiently on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform.
Apart from standard natural language understanding capabilities, MagicLM is also capable of generating videos and is the first in the industry to allow users to locate a specific frame in their videos. It is also integrated with the voice assistant YOYO.
Besides, Honor launched an LLM Ecosystem Program in China. This initiative promotes the integration of cloud-based and vertical AI models into MagicOS. Partners, such as Amap, Baidu, and Umetrip, will launch their experiences in the first half of 2024.
MagicRing, which was introduced in MagicOS 7.0 enables cross-device functionalities. The feature now supports connections from point-to-point networks to fully connected networks.
It is now 25% more power-efficient with a whopping 500% improvement in speed. It supports eight transmission channels to allow calls, notifications, keyboard and mouse, files, app windows, and photos to seamlessly flow across devices.
As for privacy, MagicOS 8.0 comes with system-wide Parallel Spaces. Users can move files to private space through Magic Portal. A new shake-to-block ads feature helps in eliminating intrusive pop-up ads. Lastly, all AI processing of personal data happens securely on the device.

A new Vivo phone has surfaced on the Google Play Console certification website. It is the Vivo Y100 GT. The device will be a new addition to the Vivo Y100 series that includes the Y100, Y100i, and Y100i Power which debuted last year. Recently, the Vivo G2 also surfaced on the Play Console database. A teaser shared by Realme India on its X handle reveals that the Realme 12 Pro series 5G will debut this month in the country. It says ‘See you on XX Jan, 2024’. Since, the brand is teasing series, we can expect the lineup to comprise the Realme 12 Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G variants. Realme is also teasing the upcoming offerings with hashtag #PeriscopeOver200MP. However, it remains to be seen if both devices will come with the periscope lens. It seems that Realme is taking a subtle dig at the recently unveiled Redmi Note 13 Pro phones that feature 200MP camera sensor.
The Realme 12 Pro series 5G is also confirmed to be available from Flipkart. The brand has not divulged in to the rest of the details about the upcoming offerings. But the exact launch date and more teasers are expected to follow in the coming days.
Previously it was reported that the Realme 12 Pro+ will be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 whereas the Pro is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The former is tipped to feature a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope unit with 3x optical zoom while the Pro will get a 32MP telephoto lens.

The Samsung Music Frame is part of Samsung’s lineup of products for 2024. It has a physical print on the front and will be customizable when orders go live, according to Samsung. The Samsung Music Frame is capable of delivering surround sound when paired with any of Samsung’s 2024 TVs. The speaker seamlessly blends into the home environment by camouflaging as a picture frame that can display art or photography, like The Frame TV. It comes with built-in woofers and offers intelligent audio processing. It also uses the Q-Symphony technology to provide surround sound for Samsung’s 2024 TV lineup like the anti-glare OLED TV.
Apart from its two woofers, the Samsung Music Frame has two tweeters, two midrange drivers, and waveguides for spreading the sound effectively around the room. It supports WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity while power is supplied to the speaker via a power cable.
Pricing & Availability
There are no details yet on the price of the Samsung Music Frame speaker. The new speaker is expected to ship together with the Samsung 2024 TVs expected to be out in Spring 2024. As per pricing, the Samsung Music Frame could be compared with the $259.99 Sonos/ Ikea Symfonisk frame speaker.
Vivo is reportedly working on the third-generation flagship tablet, the Vivo Pad 3, for the Chinese market. It is expected to launch along with the Vivo X100s and the Vivo X Fold 3 series of foldable phones later in the ongoing quarter of the year. To recall, the first-generation Vivo Pad tablet that debuted in 2022 featured an 11-inch LCD panel with support for 1600 x 2560 pixels. The latest leak by DCS suggests that the Vivo Pad 3 will feature a larger 13-inch LCD panel that will offer 3K resolution.
As previously revealed by the leaker, the Vivo Pad 3 will have the Dimensity 9300 under the hood. The exact battery size of the device is not known yet, but the new leak states that it will support 80W fast charging.

In the latest leak, DCS has talked about the camera specifications of upcoming photography-focused flagship phones. Hence, it appears he could be talking about the Magic 6 and 6 Pro. The leak suggests that the standard model will have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with support for 2.5x optical zoom.
On the other hand, the Honor Magic 6 Pro will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.3-inch camera sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 180-megapixel (1/1.49-inch) periscope telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom. The tipster did not mention anything about the camera specifications of the Honor Magic 6 RSR, which is said to be a special version designed in collaboration with Porsche Design Studio.
As per reports, the Magic 6 RSR could be the world’s first smartphone to feature a one-inch OmniVision OV50K primary camera. An ultra-wide lens and a periscope telephoto camera are likely to be present, but their details are not available yet.

An unidentified Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-C5560 has surfaced in China’s TENAA certification platform. While the listing discloses the key specifications of the phone, visual images are currently unavailable. It is speculated that upon its release in the Chinese market, this particular device might be named the Galaxy Y55. Here is a look at the details that have emerged through its TENAA certification.

Regarding camera specifications, the alleged Galaxy Y55 will feature a 13-megapixel front camera, while the rear setup will comprise a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple-camera system. The certification states that the Y55 will have dimensions of 210.942 x 124.74 x 8mm and a weight of 322 grams. It is worth noting that there may be an error in the height, width, and weight details mentioned in the certification.
With an important certification under the belt, the alleged Galaxy Y55 may launch later this month in China.
Vivo has just launched the Vivo X100 and X100 flagship phones in some markets outside of China. Now, the brand is said to be working on the Vivo V30 series of smartphones for the global market. The Vivo V30 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to run on FunTouch OS 14-based Android 14.

On the other hand, the ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition, offering 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, costs Rs 1,19,999 (~$1,444). It comes in Phantom Black color only. The brand is also selling the AeroActive Cooler X accessory for Rs 5,999 (~$722).
Asus is yet to declare the sale date of the ROG Phone 8 Pro. However, it has been confirmed that the device will be sold via Vijay Sales, Asus Exclusive stores, Asus ROG stores, and the Asus e-shop.
