Yadea Kemper electric motorcycle with 99mph top speed unveiled at EICMA 2023

Chinese e-scooter manufacturer Yadea has showcased the Kemper electric motorcycle at the 2023 Milan Motorcycle Show EICMA. The new Yadea electric motorcycle comes with some exquisite features including a top speed of 99mph and high-speed charging.

Features

The Yadea Kemper electric motorcycle marks a significant improvement from the gasoline version of the bike. It offers improvements in comfort, acceleration, maintenance, and environmental impact, among others. One of the major talking points of the new electric motorcycle is its charging performance. The Yadea Kemper offers a 10-minute fast charge option, catapulting the model to the top of the log in terms of charging speed. Ten minutes of the fast charge yields up to 80% of the battery capacity of the motorbike.

The Yadea Kemper has a centrally mounted 23kW motor that delivers a peak power of 40kW. The bike accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds and its 320V 20Ah LiFePO4 battery has a 6.4kWh capacity. The bike has a Bosch ABS and traction control and Brembo brakes. It has a KYB suspension and is rated as a L3e-A2 motorcycle in Europe. It has a 7-inch TFT color display while its built-in 1080p dash cam allows riders to save important footage to a memory card.

Yadea is a leading manufacturer of electric scooters and e-bikes and expects the Kemper to blaze the trail as well. Porsche Design PDS20 portable outdoor speaker with 10-hour battery life launched

Porsche Design has launched the PDS20 portable outdoor speaker and it is now available in the US, EU, and the UK. The new Porsche Design portable speaker comes with a 10-hour battery life and includes a strap for easier transportation.

The Porsche Design PDS20 outdoor speaker has two passive radiators and a 1.75-inch woofer. It can be paired with another unit via Bluetooth for a more balanced sound output. The PDS20 can be adjusted via touch controls or using a voice assistant. The built-in battery means that it can operate for extended periods without needing to recharge. It is fully recharged via its USB-A to USB-C cable in three hours. It is rated IP67 and can withstand dust and water splashes.

The Porsche Design PDS20 is a circular-shaped speaker with satin anodized aluminum housing. Its external parts are covered with gray fabric and it has a silicone carrying strap. The speaker has dimensions of 43 x 94 x 94mm and weighs 302g. Its silicone strap is interchangeable with grey and green color options. The speaker draws its color choices from the Porsche 911 Dakar performance car.

The Porsche Design PDS20 outdoor speaker is priced at $245 on pre-order in the United States. In Europe, the PDS20 will be available for €229 and £210 in the UK. The Porsche Design PDS20 will officially launch on November 15. There are no availability details for the speaker outside the selected markets where it will launch this week.

Valve hints at Steam Deck 2 in 2-3 years

Valve has released an updated version of the Steam Deck, the Steam Deck OLED, featuring a new OLED display and improved battery life. However, this iteration is not really a true successor to the original Steam Deck, rather a mediocre upgrade.

For those eagerly awaiting a true successor to the original Steam Deck, it appears you’ll have to wait at least two to three years, according to Valve.

In an interview with Gizmodo, Valve’s UX designer Lawrence Yang revealed that the company is working on a proper successor to the Steam Deck, but it’s not ready to be called a Steam Deck 2 just yet.

For it to earn the “2” designation, Yang explained, it must offer a significant “generational increase in performance.”

The company is currently waiting for advancements in chip technology to materialize before moving forward with the Steam Deck 2. Yang anticipates that within two to three years, a suitable chip will be available for the next-generation handheld gaming device.

This means that we are still at least a couple of years away from the release of a true Steam Deck 2. However, Yang says Valve remains committed to supporting the current Steam Deck models, the OLED and LCD variants. They plan to release regular updates to enhance the user experience and address any lingering issues.

Yang also addressed the criticisms surrounding the original Steam Deck, noting that they aligned with the company’s own internal list of improvements.

He explained that the Deck’s design had to incorporate certain compromises due to time constraints, cost considerations, and the “supply chain nightmare” that plagued late 2021.

Microsoft appears to quietly close Windows 10 Mobile App Store

Microsoft has recently taken a significant step in phasing out its Windows 10 Mobile platform by quietly shutting down the core functionalities of its Microsoft Store app store on this platform. This closure signifies the end of an era for Windows 10 Mobile and the classic generation of Windows Phone systems. The Lumia 950 series was the first to feature Windows 10 back in 2015.

Users have reported that the store’s homepage is no longer accessible, and the pages designated for app downloads and updates fail to load correctly. Additionally, the app details page is experiencing intermittent issues. This decline in functionality follows Microsoft’s decision in December 2019 to end support for all Windows 10 Mobile devices, a move paralleled by the closure of the Windows Phone 8.1 store in the same period.

Despite the termination of device support, the Microsoft Store app store remained operational for a time. Microsoft had assured users that while the operating system would not receive further updates, the app store would continue to function, leaving the app and software support to the discretion of developers and OEMs.

An important feature of Windows 10 Mobile is its support for sideloading, allowing users to install applications outside of the Microsoft Store. This capability remains a vital alternative for users, especially in the wake of the store’s malfunction. Intriguingly, some users have reported that the store resumes normal function upon installing the latest offline package, suggesting a potential workaround for accessing the store’s services.

Microsoft has shifted its primary focus away from mobile platforms and is now concentrating on AI and the PC market. There have been rumors suggesting that the company is actively working on the development of Windows 12. Recently, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella made a significant statement, acknowledging that discontinuing Windows Phone was a mistake.

Despite the PC market being a lucrative area for Microsoft, the mobile device market is still expanding and evolving, especially with the emergence of new products like foldable devices. Anbernic has recently introduced its latest handheld gaming consoles, the RG ARC-D and RG ARC-S, expanding its lineup of gaming devices. These consoles come equipped with a 4-inch IPS screen boasting a resolution of 640×480 pixels.

OPPO Find N3 Review: The foldable phone With The Best Camera

To be honest, I was sad when I first saw the Find N3. For small phone lovers like me who want a foldable phone, OPPO’s Find N series is a very good option. But after having it for over two weeks, I could be wrong about it. Now that the Find N3 has gotten bigger, it just doesn’t seem as unique as it could be. But that’s not all bad, the bigger size also means the N3 can put more stuff inside. For example, much better cameras.

Camera

If you just look at the camera specs, it’s definitely the best photographic foldable phone out there. Except for the 1-inch sensor that just won’t fit in, the other two are at the top. You won’t believe how poorly lit when these photos were taken, it picked up all the details that my eyes can’t even see, that’s the advantage of having a bigger sensor. Both the telephoto and ultra-wide cameras take almost as great photos as the main camera, whether in the daytime or at night.

The telephoto in particular, despite the optical zoom is only 3x, can zoom up to 6x with in-sensor zoom technology. Even at 10x, it takes super sharp photos without much sharpening algorithms. I would say this is the best photography foldable phone I’ve ever used, even a little better than the MIX Fold 3.

Design

The one we got is the global version of the N3. The N3 has the OnePlus’ signature alert slider, and there are also a number of colorways that the OnePlus Open doesn’t have, such as the red vegan leather, and the gold glass version I have here. This gold color isn’t too intense, it’s as elegant as a sunset hitting on a white phone.

Thanks to its flat frame, it doesn’t slip when I unfold it. This time I have updated the weight and thickness list of foldable phones, and as you can see, the Find N3 is not the smallest, thinnest, or heaviest. As I said at the beginning, I still prefer the compact look of the N2. But with such a large camera module, I can totally accept it. It also explains why other brands don’t want to use good cameras because they would be heavier and thicker.

Display & Hinges

Of course, the Find N3’s screen gets regular upgrades. The gap between the internal and external screens has been reduced, with clarity and brightness looking more unified. The external screen also doesn’t have any curved edges, it’s a completely flat screen.

In fact, I think the biggest improvement has to be the hinge, with the new hinge making the creases in the screen almost invisible. Of all the foldable phones we’ve reviewed, it has the flattest internal screen I’ve ever seen. I’m pretty happy with the screen, and there’s nothing to complain about there.

Benchmark & Gaming

It was only a 5 days gap between the release of this phone and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, this puts the N3 with 8 Gen 2 in a bit of an awkward position. But given that there are still not any other 8 Gen 3 foldable phones released yet, the N3 is still the most powerful foldable phone for now. We tested PUBG Mobile and it supports up to 60 FPS extreme graphics and can run very stably. We can say it has full control in light-load gaming.

Charging & Battery

The 67W of charging power isn’t particularly good, but it’s above the pass line, and you can get a full charge in 40 minutes. Not being able to support wireless charging would be a small shame for me, the good thing is that the battery life is good. It’s much better than the MIX Fold 3 in light-load gaming. It seems the Find N3 battery life is not too much to worry about.

ColorOS 13

ColorOS 13 adds a couple of new split-screen features specifically for the Find N3. First up is this very familiar Taskbar, where OPPO has brought PC control logic to the N3—the button at the very left looks like the Windows Start menu with all the apps in it.

If you drag and drop an app to either side of the screen, it displays the two apps separately. Drag it to the center and it becomes a floating window. If there are apps that can’t be turned into floating windows, OPPO still found a way to make them run at the same time. Although you can only see two apps, the switch between three apps is very smooth. And you don’t have to worry about them being killed by the system in the backstage.

I don’t often use 3 apps at the same time, but this mode does work better than floating windows. No wonder OPPO highlighted this feature at the launch event, it does work better than expected.

Conclusion

So it seems that OPPO did make a flagship foldable phone, this Find N3 is top-notch except for the performance we couldn’t confirm whether it is good or bad. The camera system is definitely the king among foldable phones, if you are a photography lover who wants to buy a foldable phone, it is the best choice.

Onе of thе most significant diffеrеncеs is thе cooling systеm. Thе M3 Pro has two fans for cooling down thе chip, whilе thе M3 usеs only onе. This is likеly duе to thе fact that thе M3 Pro is a morе powеrful chip and gеnеratеs morе hеat. Thе M3 Pro also has a largеr hеatsink than thе M3.

Thе othеr major diffеrеncе bеtwееn thе two modеls is thе storagе. Thе basе M3 board has two flash storagе modulеs, which thеorеtically еliminatеs thе spееd bottlеnеcks of thе M2 Air, which had onе. This mеans that thе M3 should havе fastеr storagе pеrformancе than thе M2 Air.

Apple is reportedly testing iPhone 16 Pro with a hole-punch cutout

While the iPhone 15 series is still relatively new, rumors about the iPhone 16 are already circulating. One of the most intriguing rumors is the possibility of a hole-punch cutout replacing the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 16 Pro models.

The Dynamic Island, introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, is a unique design element that houses the front-facing camera and Face ID sensors. While it has received mixed reviews, there is no doubt that it has been a topic of conversation.

According to tipster Majin Bu, Apple is currently testing a prototype of the iPhone 16 Pro with a hole-punch cutout instead of the Dynamic Island. This would be a significant change, as it would eliminate the need for the pill-shaped cutout that has been a hallmark of recent iPhones.

However, other analysts, such as Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), believe that the Dynamic Island is here to stay for at least another year. Young predicts that all four iPhone 16 models will feature the Dynamic Island and that the biggest display changes will come in the form of larger screens for the Pro models.

In 2025, Young expects to see even more significant changes, with the non-Pro models matching the screen sizes of the Pro models. This means that the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro will both have a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 17 Plus and iPhone 17 Pro Max will each have a 6.9-inch screen.

Young also predicts that the Dynamic Island will still be found on the non-Pro models in 2025, and that for the first time, the ProMotion 120Hz display will be used on the less expensive phones.

As for the iPhone 17 Pro series, Young believes that Apple will have moved on to an under-display Face ID module with a hole-punch cutout on the screen. This would be a major step forward in terms of design, as it would eliminate the need for any visible cutouts on the screen.

Specific details regarding the features and enhancements included in Office 2024 remain under wraps. However, it is likely that the new version will incorporate some of the features currently available to Microsoft 365 subscribers.

In the above image, the alleged Redmi K70 can be seen in white, sporting a triple camera unit with an LED flash. The edges of the phone have a shiny appeal, and as per reports, it will have a metallic frame.

The above images show the black variant of the Redmi K70 Pro equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera. The top edge of the device seems to feature a microphone, an IR blaster, and a speaker grille. On the bottom side, it features a speaker grille, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a SIM slot.

As per other reports, the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. On the other hand, the Redmi K70e is also said to be equipped with the upcoming Dimensity 8300 chipset. Both devices will have an OLED panel with a flat design. According to recent reports, Oppo is gearing up to launch the Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro for the Chinese market. It has been reported that the Reno 11 lineup, along with the Honor 100 series, is expected to be unveiled in China on Nov. 23. Honor has officially confirmed its next launch event, but there has been no official announcement from Oppo regarding the Reno 11 series. However, there is now a new update suggesting that the launch of the Reno 11 series may have been delayed and could potentially take place in December instead of the previously rumored November date.

According to a leaker, the OnePlus 12 was expected to launch by early November in China. However, due to a display-related development, which could be connected to OnePlus and BOE’s recent announcement of the Oriental Screen for the OnePlus 12 and Ace 3, the launch has been postponed to later in the same month.

The leaker also mentioned that the Reno 11 series, originally planned to be unveiled on Nov. 23, has now been rescheduled for an early December launch. As per other reports, the Oppo Pad Air 2 and Reno 11 series may debut together in the coming month.

The Reno 11 Pro, on the other hand, will have a curved-edge OLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,700mAh battery with 80W charging. Its other rumored features include an x-axis linear motor, dual speakers, and a plastic frame.

Huawei Pocket S2 render, launch timeframe tipped, Nova 12 series to launch alongside

So far, Huawei has launched two flip-style foldable phones. The P50 Pocket was announced in December 2021 in China, whereas the Pocket S was unveiled in November 2022. Hence, it appears that a Pocket-branded product will likely launch in China before the end of this year. A few new leaks that have surfaced now have revealed the design of the upcoming Pocket S2 and some of its details.

As per the leaked render shared by tipster Teme, the upcoming Pocket S2 is expected to maintain the design language of its predecessors. It will feature two circular modules on the rear of the device. The first module will accommodate three cameras and an LED flash, with a camera layout reminiscent of the Honor Magic 6 series.

The second module on the back will serve as a secondary display, displaying various information, such as notifications. On the right side of the device, you can find a volume rocker, and this same side will probably incorporate a fingerprint sensor.

According to a Chinese leaker and tipster Teme, the Huawei Pocket S2, which has the shortened codename LEM, is set to launch in December. It is speculated that the Nova 12 series will also debut alongside the S2. It is also being said that it may launch in the second week of the month.

Nothing much is known on the specifications side of the Huawei Pocket S2. However, it is said that it may come equipped with the company’s upcoming Kirin 8-series chipset.

The listing also discloses the tablet’s compatibility with WiFi and Bluetooth connections. Unfortunately, additional details about the tablet remain scarce. However, a prior SIRIM certification in the previous month indicated that the tablet would also come in a 4G variant. Here’s what else you can expect from the tablet.
