Design & Display
Design-wise, the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design draws inspiration from last year’s Mate 50 RS Porsche Design. It has the same aggressive yet elegant aesthetics featuring an octagonal camera module in the tip center. The body of the smartphone itself is made of ceramic, and the frame is aluminum. It is available in two color options: Red and Black.
Up-front, the device features a 6.82-inch flat OLED LTPO display with three punch holes in the top center for the front camera setup. The display features a resolution of 2720 x 1260 pixels and offers an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. It also has 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming onboard along with a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The screen is capable of producing 1.07 billion rich colors as it covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

The Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design features a similar camera setup to the Mate 60 Pro+. It has three high-performance lenses on the back including a 48-megapixel primary camera with an adjustable aperture ranging from F1.4 to F4.0. The main sensor features optical image stabilization (OIS) for steady shots. Accompanying it is a 40-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an F2.2 aperture. Additionally, there’s a 48-megapixel ultra-macro telephoto camera boasting an F3.0 aperture, also with OIS, and the added convenience of autofocus. It offers 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom capabilities.
The front-facing camera setup consists of a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an F2.4 aperture and a 3D depth camera for advanced facial recognition capabilities. The camera system allows for up to 4K (3840 x 2160) video recording for both the rear and front cameras, all while benefiting from AIS anti-shake technology to ensure your videos remain steady.

LeTV S Series Projector
The LeTV S series projector has a 1080p resolution, a 1300:1 contrast ratio, and 4K decoding, which means you can feed it a 4K signal and it will downscale it to 1080p. However, it only supports decoding for H.264 or mp4 video formats. It can project a screen from 50 to 200 inches in size.
The biggest difference between the two projectors is their brightness: 600CVIA lumens for the higher-end model and 550CVIA lumens for the lower-end model. Both models have a customized high-brightness, optical engine and support autofocus, intelligent obstacle avoidance, and fully automatic keystone correction.
Additionally, the projectors are equipped with a Huawei HiSilicon chip, 2GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. They run a new customized LeTV OS system and support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

There the company also announced its new flagship smart TV, the Huawei Smart Screen V5 Pro. The TV is packed with features, but as the company’s flagship model, it doesn’t come cheap. Let’s take a closer look at the details.
Huawei Smart Screen V5 Pro Specifications
The Smart Screen V5 Pro comes in two massive screen sizes: 98 inches and 85 inches. Both models have a Super MiniLED display with a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1.07 billion colors, and a 99% screen-to-body ratio.
However, the 98-inch version has a peak brightness of 2000 nits, while the 85-inch version has a peak brightness of 1600 nits. The Smart Screen V5 Pro also supports Honghu image quality upscaling, which can convert 1080P image quality into 4K in seconds.
At the core, both TVs are powered by the Honghu 900 chip. As per Huawei, the silicon offers a 200% improvement in CPU performance, a 160% improvement in GPU performance, and a 212% improvement in NPU performance over the previous Honghu 818 chip. The TV also has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and it supports the latest connectivity interfaces like HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.0.
As for the software, it runs the HarmonyOS 4 system, which supports features such as a photo wall, landscape window, smart sensing, child care, family connection, and super screen projection.
Apart from the TV’s display capabilities, one of the most interesting things about the Smart Screen V5 Pro is the new Huawei Lingxi Pointing Remote Control, which Huawei claims is the world’s first absolute pointing interaction remote.
It lets you can slide your finger on the remote buttons to scroll or click on the content displayed on TV, without having to press the actual buttons. Moreover, you can also use the air touch feature to play your mobile games on the TV.
In terms of audio, the TV has a Huawei Sound smart speakers system that offers a 3.1.2-channel sound system with 30W double bass and two 10W sky channels. It can also be paired with a HUAWEI Sound X speaker to create a 5.1.2-channel home theater system.

The Huawei Smart Screen V5 Pro is priced at 24,999 yuan for the 85-inch version and 36,999 yuan for the 98-inch version. Pre-sales will start on September 25th at 18:08, and sales will begin on September 28th at 10:08 in China.
