We do not know if it is a case or not, but the handset carries the same model name as one of the latest affordable devices from Vivo sister company: Oppo. We are talking about the Realme U1, that belongs to a sub-brand of affordable devices launched by Oppo in 2018. Here, we will compare the new Vivo U1 with the Realme U1 and one of the latest super affordable devices launched recently: the Moto G7 Play by Motorola.

Design

Design and build quality are among the key features of the new Vivo U1 and I personally choose it as the winner of the design comparison. It has a very high screen-to-body ratio because it features a waterdrop notch and a narrow tri-borderless design, as well as a pretty narrow chin. Further, it comes in three wonderful gradient hues. Last but not least, it is one of the few devices under $150 to be waterproof. It comes with the IP58 certification. The second place for the design goes to the Oppo Realme U1, while for the build quality I prefer the Moto G7 Play due to its splashproof body. It is also a very compact device due to its smaller screen.

Display

The resolution is the most important thing when it comes to displays of affordable devices. And the Realme U1 by Oppo is the only smartphone among these ones to have a Full HD+ resolution, so a way higher level of detail. The display is also better overall for other parameters, so it easily wins this comparison. It also comes with the biggest display. Moto G7 Play is pretty interesting, though, because it has a small 5.7-inch display that is more suitable for people who often manage to use their phones with one hand.

Specs & Software

If we consider the chipset only, then Moto G7 Play is a more performing phone than Vivo U1. But it comes with just 2 GB of RAM, that is not much for heavy apps and multi-tasking and it does not allow the Snapdragon 632 to show its full potential. Despite its lower-end chipset, Vivo U1 has up to 4 GB of RAM, that is why I define it better. But the best is definitely Oppo Realme U1 because it sports up to 4 GB of RAM and a much more powerful chipset than both Snapdragon 439 and 632. We are talking about the Helio P70, that is currently the best offer by MediaTek and one of the most powerful midrange chipsets. We do not consider it at the same level as the Snapdragon 670 and 710, but it is definitely worth a try in this price range.

Camera

Vivo U1 and Realme U1 are equipped with a dual camera setup, but this does not mean that they can click better photos. Indeed, despite having a single camera, Moto G7 Play shots better photos in most of the light conditions when it comes to detail. Its opponents are only better at capturing depth info, but it is not enough to over-class the great Moto G7 Play. Realme U1 wins when it comes to the front camera due to its high resolution, bright shots, and a great AI algorithm. But note that Moto G7 Play has a front-facing LED flash and allows taking selfies in the dark.

Battery

Vivo U1 is a battery champion because of its low-end, efficient components and its huge 4030 mAh battery. Such a capacity for an entry-level device is gold and it can make it last up to three days with an average/intense usage pattern. Realme U1 is great at battery life, but it has just 3500 mAh and a less efficient display.

Price

Realme U1 wins this comparison because of its better hardware and display, but Vivo U1 and Moto G7 Play still represent wonderful choices in the entry-level segment. Realme U1 costs about €140/$160, Vivo U1 will launch for about €105/$118, and Moto G7 Play will cost about €150/$170.

Design

Nowadays, even entry-level handsets such as these ones come with a pretty elegant and attractive design. Among these handsets, the one that comes with a better look, in my opinion, is the Huawei Y6 Pro (2019). I like it because of its very small dewdrop notch on the upper side of the display, unlike its rivals that come with big and silly notches. While Huawei Y6 Pro (2019) dominates the entry-level scene with its cool design, Moto G7 Play shines for its build quality. Indeed, it is splash resistant and it also comes with a display protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 (only in selected markets, so make sure to check the specs sheet when the phone will hit your zone). Also note that the Moto G7 Play is the only to rock a fingerprint reader, it is placed under the rear camera. Oppo Realme C1 2019 is not a big deal when it comes to aesthetics.

Display

The display is the weak point of low-end handsets. These devices offer just an HD+ resolution, so they are not the best in terms of definition. But they have sufficient displays with decent detail and the IPS technology. I would choose my favorite one basing on the size of the display and the notch. If you want a compact device that is easy to use with one hand, go for the Moto G7 Play, if you want the biggest and most comfortable screen, then choose Realme C1 2019 and if you want the smallest notch, go for the Huawei Y6 Pro 2019.

Specs & Software

Here we have the most important differences. Moto G7 Play comes with the midrange-class Snapdragon 632 chipset that is an upgrade of Snapdragon 625 and 626 (not better than Snapdragon 630, though), while Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 and Realme C1 2019 have entry-level chipsets. Despite Moto G7 Play comes with less RAM (just 2 GB against 3 GB on the most expensive variants of Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 and Realme C1 2019), I would choose the Moto G7 Play for its faster SoC.

Camera

The camera department that wins this comparison is the one present on the Moto G7 Play, at least on the paper. It has a decent focal aperture for an entry-level handset, and it is the only that can record videos with 4K resolution. Further, it comes with a pretty nice front camera equipped with a front-facing LED flash. The second place goes to the Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 for its brighter aperture, even though Realme C1 is the only rear dual camera phone boasting an additional depth sensor. We chose the Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 as the second camera phone of this comparison because of its good detail with several light conditions and its better front camera.

Battery

Realme C1 (2019) is equipped with a mammoth battery: 4230 mAh is an infinite capacity for an entry-level handset. Indeed, it is one of the battery champions of 2019. Its opponent can nowhere compete with the Realme C1 2019, just like most of the other entry-level devices.

Price

Huawei Y6 Pro (2019), Moto G7 Play and Realme C1 2019 cost about €120/$135, €150/$170 and €100/$110, respectively. Moto G7 Play wins this comparison because of its excellent build quality, good cameras, fingerprint reader and very nice chipset. But Realme C1 2019 with its huge battery offers the ghivalue for money.

Design

Xiaomi put a lot of efforts in the design and build quality of the Mi Play and it is definitely one of the most beautiful devices you can buy with a price tag inferior to $200. It is equipped with a stunning glass back that you can get in reflective and gradient color variants. And it also has a very small dewdrop notch that minimizes the bezels around the display. Moto G7 Play has original but uglier aesthetics than both Xiaomi Mi Play and Honor Play 8A, but it has a more solid build quality and it is splash resistant. Further, it is the only to integrate a fingerprint reader on the back, and its display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Display

Among these devices, only Xiaomi Mi Play comes with a Full HD+ display, so it delivers a much higher definition and image clarity. However, you’ll want to know that Honor Play 8A has a significantly bigger display that is preferred by a lot of users. But it is only an HD+ display, so if you are looking for the best sharpness this is not the device for you. Moto G7 Play is even less interesting: not only it comes with the HD+ resolution, but it also has a way bigger notch and an even smaller display than the Xiaomi Mi Play. On the other hand, it is a more compact and lightweight smartphone.

Specs & Software

If we talk about the chipset, all these devices should deliver more or less the same level of performance. The Helio P35 found on the Xiaomi Mi Play and Honor Play 8A is at the same level as the Snapdragon 632 in most of the scenarios. The element making the difference on these handsets is the memory configuration. Indeed, Xiaomi Mi Play has whopping 4 GB of RAM, Honor Play 8A has 3 GB and Moto G7 Play just 2 GB of RAM which represent an important limit for a midrange-class chipset such as the Snapdragon 632. Further, note that Xiaomi Mi Play has 64 GB of internal storage while Moto G7 Play stops at 32 GB. Xiaomi Mi Play and Honor Play 8A have custom user interfaces, while Moto G7 Play has stock Android.

Camera

Unlike its rivals, Xiaomi Mi Play sports a dual camera setup on the back with a depth sensor. But despite the double sensor, Honor Play 8A impressed me more with its rear camera quality. It does not provide a so good bokeh effect, but it captures a lot of detail, even when light conditions are not the best. It also comes with accurate and pretty fast autofocus. If you prefer to have a better front camera, then Moto G7 Play is for you as it comes with a great front snapper and a front-facing LED flash.

Battery

You get exactly the same battery capacity for all of these handsets: 3000 mAh. But we believe Xiaomi Mi Play will not reach the same battery life of its opponents due to its less efficient Full HD+ display. We still did not have a chance to test the Moto G7 Play, but I personally prefer it because it is the only to feature a fast charging technology (10W is not much, but still faster). However, note that fast charging will come only in selected markets and not on all the units.

Price

You can grab a unit of the Honor Play 8A for just €100/$113, Xiaomi Mi Play, that is the winner of this comparison, costs about €170/$191, while Moto G7 Play will cost about €150/$170.

The Mot G series is a very popular series and has garnered quite a sizeable number of lower followers for the brand. The popularity isn’t unconnected to their nice designs and affordable pricing. The four new models range from budget phones like the Moto G7 Play and big battery-packing G7 Power to premium midrange models like the G7 and G7 Plus.

Before now, almost all the features and design of the models have been in the open via leaks but let’s still take a quick look at the specifications of the models. One interesting point to note is that all four G7 series models will runGoogle’s latest Android 9.0 Pie OS from the go and support storage expansion via microSD card. The models also feature USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack which is impressive.

Moto G7 Play Specifications & Features

The Moto G7 Play takes over the rein from the Moto G6 Play which happened to be one of the phones with the longest-lasting battery in 2018 with its battery lasting up to two days. experience for most people. The G7 Play isn’t a battery monster, a title the G7 Power has claimed, but the G7 Play’s focus is on affordability. The Moto G7 Play packs a 3000mAh battery unlike a 4000mAh cell on last year’s G6 Play.

The device sports a 5.7-inch display with an HD resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The phone has a big notch at the top just like the one made popular by the iPhone X. The Moto G7 Play is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset. The processor is paired with 2GB of RAM which is the only available option, at least for now. The device also comes with 32GB of storage which is expandable as earlier stated. On the camera end, the device packs a single 13MP rear camera while for selfies, there is an 8MP front camera.

As for the pricing, the Moto G7 Play is priced at $200 which isn’ really cheap as there are far better options at that price range. The model will launch unlocked in the US this spring. In a short while after the official launch, Motorola will make the G7 Play available on Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Republic Wireless and Ting.

Moto G7 Power Specifications & Features

Just like the name implies, the Moto G7 Power is all about battery power. The model packs a mammoth 5,000mAh battery under its hood. Unfortunately, that is where it all ends as the rest of its specs don’t really tickle. Just like the G7 Play, it is equipped with a Snapdragon 632 chipset but has 3GB of RAM inside. The storage option is still a 32GB expandable storage only.

Moto G7 Power

In addition, the Moto G7 Power sports a 6.2-inch display with HD resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The display still features a similar wide notch as seen on the G7 Play. The G7 Power priced at $250 and will be available unlocked in the United States starting this spring. The same scenario will still play out shortly after initial availability as it will also arrive on carriers, including T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Cricket Wireless (as the Moto G7 Supra), Consumer Cellular, Republic Wireless, Ting and Xfinity Mobile.

Moto G7

The Moto G7 can be described as the flagship in the budget series. Don’t get it wrong, the G7 is not a flagship model but its features and specs are way enhanced than the G7 Play and G7 Power. The Moto G7 may turn out as the star of this series as it offers the best balance of price to performance in the series.

Moto G7

The Moto G7 does not have a big notch like the two cheaper models but instead, it utilises the more acceptable water drop or teardrop notch. The G7 packs a 6.2-inch display with Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2270 pixels that is definitely sharper than those of the former two. The G7 still features a Snapdragon 632 chipset but it is paired with 4GB of RAM while there is 64GB of expandable storage onboard. The Moto G7 is available in two colours; ceramic black and clear white. On the camera end, it features a dual camera setup at its rear side comprising a 12MP+5MP combo.

Moto G7

As for the pricing, the G7 starting price will be $300 in the United States and the phone will arrive this spring unlocked first at Best Buy, B&H Photo, Walmart and Amazon. Later on, the G7 will also be launched on Google Fi, Republic Wireless and Ting. International customers will be able to buy the G7 even earlier as the phone was launched in Brazil and Mexico today. It will be arriving in Europe in mid-February and to the rest of the world in March.

Moto G7 Plus

The Moto G7 Plus is enhanced over the other three models in several aspects even though the design looks like the G7. The model packs a 6.24-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2270 pixels. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor paired with 4GB of RAM while there is 64GB of storage onboard. On the camera end, the G7 Plus also packs a dual rear camera setup, 16MP + 5MP combo while for selfies, there is a 12MP sensor.

Moto G7 Plus

The G7 Plus comes in two colour options; Viva Red and Deep Indigo. In addition, the phone will have a 27-watt fast charging that will give you 12 hours of power with just 15 minutes of charge. For pricing, the Moto G7 Plus will have a $300 Euro price tag. It won’t be sold in the US but will hit Europe and other regions soon.

At the moment, there is practically nothing that we do not know about the specs of the phones which includes the Moto G7, the Moto G7 Play, Moto G7 Power and the Moto G7 Plus.

Ahead of the launch, prices of the phones in Brazil, except for the Moto G7 itself, have leaked and all we can say is they are ridiculously expensive.

The prices are from network operator Claro, so they are pretty genuine. The Moto G7 Play is priced at BRL 999 (~$271) and that gets you a phone with a 5.7” HD+ display, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.

[envira-gallery id=”234639″]

The Moto G7 Power which packs a larger 6.2-inch HD+ display, a larger 5,000mAh battery and 3GB of RAM is priced at BRL 1,299 (~$352). The Moto G7 Plus which is the top of the line is priced at BRL 1,899 (~$515). This gets you a 6.2” FHD+ screen with a waterdrop notch, 4GB of RAM and support for 27W fast-charging.

These are pretty expensive for mid-range phones and when you compare them to the leaked prices for Europe, you know the high price tags are limited to Brazil. Probably as a result of really high import taxes.

The company is yet to release a launch itinerary for Europe but a new leak has emerged revealing the Moto G7 and G7 Plus pricing for Europe. According to the leak from a Twitter tipster, the Moto G7 pricing in Europe will start at €300 while that of the G7 Plus will start at €360. Earlier on, the tipster had revealed that the G7 Play will be sold for €149 while the G7 Power will be offered for €209.

The Moto G7 lineup has already been featured on Motorola’s website and is made up of four models; MotoG7, G7 Plus, G7 Play and G7 Power. As for their specs, the Moto G7 packs a 6.24-inch display with a waterdrop notch and 1080×2270 resolution. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 632 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. At the rear aspect, there’s a 12MP + 5MP dual rear camera setup while the device is fired up by a 3,000mAh battery. The G7 Plus specs are almost similar except that it is powered by a Snapdragon 636 and the main rear cam to a 16MP unit.

On the other hand, the Moto G7 Play features a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 720×1512 pixels. It is powered by a Snapdragon 632 paired with 2GB of RAM with 32GB of storage. There is a 13 MP rear camera, and the same 3,000 mAh battery. Finally, the G7 Power lives up to its name in the battery aspect as it packs a 5,000 mAh cell. It equally features a bigger 6.2″ display with the same resolution as the G7 Play. The model is also powered by the Snapdragon 632 and has the same 32GB of storage, but 3GB of RAM. The beautiful thing is that all four models run Android 9 Pie.

The Moto G7 lineup, comprising four models, have been making the rounds in rumours and leaks. Right from the days of the Moto G4 lineup, the G7 is expected to be the most expensive alongside the Moto G7 Plus. While the Moto G7 Play will be at the lower end of the pricing table. Motorola will add a new model which will be known as Moto G7 power.

According to earlier rumours, the Moto G7 Play and Moto G7 Power will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 processor which places the models in the same category as the Nokia 6.2. Apart from the mammoth 5000mAh battery expected to feature on the Moto G7 Power, there isn’t any special feature on both models. On the other hand, the more expensive Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus, are both rumoured to utilise the more powerful Snapdragon 660 chipset. Both devices equally pack dual rear camera setups and small waterdrop notches.

We can’t be so sure, though, that the G7 lineup will be unveiled but since the brand is popular in that region, it is highly possible that would happen. We expect the sales to commence in no distant time after the launch event. While the global debut could happen at MW 2019 in late February. A recent report tip the Moto G7 Play and Moto G7 Power to be priced at around €149 ($169) and €209 ($238) respectively in most European markets. On the other hand, the Moto G7 and G7 Plus are rumoured to retail at €249 ($283) and €299 ($340) respectively. The prices in the US are expected to be lower due to the increased taxes and import tariffs applied to European products.

Rumors are rife that the Moto G7 series will be announced through the upcoming unveil event. The G7 series includes smartphones such as Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Play. The specifications and pricing of these phones have surfaced in recent reports. The leaked live shots of the Moto G7 Power had appeared int he previous week. Today, an Indian publication has shared the live shots of the Moto G7 live smartphone.

The Moto G7 live shots reveal that the smartphone could be heading to India in Black and Red color variants. The company may release the phone in other color options. A leaked render of the phone (shown below) that had cropped last week revealed that it will be also available in White.

The smartphone can be seen sporting a waterdrop notch display. The side bezels and the chin of the device is quite thick. The rear shell of the phone seems to be made out of glass which curves towards the left and right edges. The Motorola batwing logo on the rear is embedded with a fingerprint reader. Above it is a round-shaped camera module.

It should be the cheapest of the lot, and a Geekbench listing as revealed it will also be the least powerful.

The Moto G7 Play was benchmarked yesterday and the listing reveals it is powered by Qualcomm’s MSM8953 processor which is popularly known as the Snapdragon 625. This is surprising as the phone was reported to come with a Snapdragon 632 processor just like the Moto G7 Power.

The version on Geekbench also has just 2GB of RAM but runs Android 9 Pie.

The Moto G7 Play’s manual was seen on the FCC’s website back in November along with photos. The documents revealed it will have a 3,000mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner, and a notched display. The notch will house a camera, a speaker and a LED flash for nighttime selfies.

Motorola will release single-SIM and dual-SIM variants with the latter having a triple card slot so you can use a MicroSD card at the same time. The Moto G7 Play will be available in gold, blue, and black color variants when it launches.

From the transparent case, we were able to get a better look at the dual camera setup and the fingerprint scanner positioned at the rear. Also, the screen features a teardrop notch on the front with buttons and ports on the sides.
The Moto G7 is equipped with a speaker grille, a power button, a volume rocker on the right side, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. In contrast to its predecessors, the Moto G7 has it speaker at the bottom.

Lenovo-owned Motorola is expected to release a total of 4 Moto G7 smartphone variant which includes the Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus with a teardrop notch, Moto G7 Play and lastly the Moto G7 Power with the regular wide notch. Both the Moto G7 and G7 Plus are most likely to have similar specs but they vary slightly with a larger screen and battery, which is likely in favour of the Plus device. The Moto G7 Power and the Moto G7 Play, are also expected to be equipped with mammoth batteries, with the power capacity expected to have a large 5000mAh packed inside, providing enough juice for the essential running of the device.

Last year, the company had unveiled the Moto G6 series in Brazil. An unnamed source has revealed to Brazilian publication that Motorola will be debuting the Moto G7 series at Brazil before the MWC 2019.

The publication has no information on the exact launch date of the Moto G7 series. However, it is quite confident that it will be made official ahead of MWC 2019. It will be a global launch event, claims the publication. This year, the Moto G6 series was introduced in the second quarter of the year. However, if the new reports are true, Lenovo’s sub-brand could be working on launching the G7 series earlier in Q1 2019. Past reports have revealed that the Moto G7 series will include four handsets such as Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Play.

The Moto G series that was introduced in 2013 is very popular in the Brazilian market. Hence, it appears that the company will want to maintain its popularity in Brazil by announcing the forthcoming Moto G7 series in the country.

Today brings yet another leak and it is a set of press renders for the whole lineup.

The Moto G7 series will include the Moto G7 itself, the Moto G7 Plus, the Moto G7 Play, and the Moto G7 Power. These press renders show all four phones in various colors and also reveal other details about their design and specs.

Moto G7

The Moto G7 is shown in white. The back is curved and like its predecessor, it is covered in glass. The biggest change in terms of design is the switch to a notched display and in this case, the water-drop style. There is still a bit of bezel at the bottom that is thick enough to accommodate the manufacturer’s name. Housed within the notch is a single camera.

There is also a change in the rear camera design. It retains the circular housing that isn’t flushed with the rest of the back but the change is in the design of the sensors’ housing. Both cameras share a single housing instead of separate ones like the Moto G6. The area around the cameras is coated black and there is a LED flash underneath.

The Motorola batwing logo which doubles as a fingerprint scanner sits below the cameras. The render also shows us that the bottom of the phone is home to a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB type-c port, and a speaker grille.

Moto G7 Plus

The Moto G7 Plus wears a wine-colored coat and has the same curved glass back as the Moto G7. It also has a notched display design though reports say the screen is bigger in size. The back is also the same design as that of the Moto G7. It also has dual rear cameras and a fingerprint scanner under the batwing logo.

The Moto G7 Plus will differ from the Moto G7 in terms of specs and size as is the tradition with the series.

Moto G7 Play

The Moto G7 Play picks up the popular Champagne Gold hue. It has a wide rectangular notch at the top that is home to a camera, a speaker, and an LED flash. It also has a thicker bottom and side bezels compared to the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus.

The back of the phone seems like metal but we won’t be surprised if it is plastic although a switch to metal will be appreciated. The camera house has been slightly redesigned but it still has just a single sensor and an LED flash. It also has a fingerprint scanner.

There is a port at the bottom which is likely MicroUSB. There is no audio jack visible at the bottom but we are pretty sure it is at the top just like its predecessor’s.

Moto G7 Power

The Moto G7 is getting a Power-variant this year and the name should already tell you that the selling point of the phone will be its large battery capacity.

The Moto G7 Power has a smaller notch that just houses the front-facing camera and speaker. Its bezels are also thick like that of the Play variant. It also has a similar rear design and appears to be made from the same material – polycarbonate. Its deep blue finish looks good and should be a favorite among those who purchase a unit. There is also a MicroUSB port at the bottom and very likely, a 3.5mm audio jack at the top.

The Moto G7 series will launch next year but the release date remains under wraps. Motorola is expected to launch all phones with Android 9 Pie out of the box.

There will be at least three phones, with another rumor and leaks suggesting even four – Moto G7, Moto G7 Power, Moto G7 Plus, and Moto G7 Play. The last one will be inexpensive and the least powerful which was just certified with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

The Moto G7 Play with a model number Moto XT1952-1 will have the latest Android 9 Pie update, and this is all the certification listing gives us. We already saw the images of the device in real photos at the FCC – which have USB-C, microSD slot audio jack, a hybrid dual SIM slot, a fingerprint reader on the back along with the Moto dimple, the battery is revealed to be an unimpressive 2,820mAh and a single rare camera on both sides.

If you worry more about internals, one of the photos from the FCC listing shows a Snapdragon 632 SoC on board which would be a welcome bump over the Snapdragon 430 in the current Moto G6 Play, coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. However, according to some renders, the G7 series will feature the waterdrop notch design on the front, but from the FCC photos, the G7 Play is likely staying with a quality rectangular screen without any cutouts for cameras and sensors whatsoever.

The Moto G series has expanded to include Plus and Play variants and next year’s version will be no different. Images and specs of the Moto G7 Play have surfaced on the web thanks to FCC documents.

According to the images from the user manual, the Moto G7 Play will have a notch but not a water-drop type like that of the Moto G7 Plus and the Moto G7. The notch will be wider and will be home to the front camera, speaker and an LED flash. The bezel below the screen is a bit thick and even has the manufacturer’s name.

The Moto G7 Play will retain the single rear camera of its predecessor albeit with a slightly redesigned housing. It will also keep the fingerprint scanner under the Motorola logo and the audio jack at the top. However, Motorola has swapped the MicroUSB port at the bottom for a USB-C type. The volume and power buttons are on the right while the SIM card and MicroSD card sit on the left.

The Moto G7 Play will have a single SIM version and a dual-SIM version that has a triple card slot as shown in the image above. The phone will also have support for Face Unlock.

There are also a couple of live photos and one reveals the phone will come in Ice Blue and Black. Another image also shows the different chargers (5V 1A) that will come with the phone. We can make out a US plug, an EU plug, an AU plug (Australia) and a UK plug. So expect the Moto G7 Play to launch in these regions. There is also a pair of wired earphones.

Previous reports have revealed that the Moto G7 will be boasting a higher screen-to-body ratio than its predecessor models since it is expected to arrive with a waterdrop notch display. An Indian publication has teamed up with industry expert @OnLeaks to share the 360-degree CAD renders of the Moto G7.

The leak reveals that the company will be launching two Moto G series smartphones next year. The renders that are available in the post belongs to the Moto G7 handset. However, the other device could be an advanced phone that could be called Moto G7 Plus.

The back panel of the phone features the usual round-shaped camera module that includes horizontally aligned dual cameras. Below it is the company’s logo that is embedded with a fingerprint scanner. The bottom edge of the phone houses a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-C port and an external speaker. The volume buttons and the power key reside on the right edge of the device.

The handset measures 157 x 75.3 x 8mm and with the camera bump, its thickness increases to 9.5mm. The dimensions of the phone suggest that it could be equipped with a 6-inch display.

Shown below is one of the recent tweets from popular tipster Evan Blass. He claims that Motorola will not be releasing C-series, M-series and X-series of smartphones in 2019. Also, unlike the above leak which claims that only two Moto G series devices will be launching in the coming year, Blass claims that the 2019 G-series will include Standard, Play, Plus and Power models.
