The news says that HTC is preparing a new flagship smartphone with Windows Phone-based operating system, the device is rumored called as HTC Harmony.

According to rumor, the specs of  HTC Harmony will be equipped with 4.7-inch touch screen with full HD display, sports with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

Nokia intends to launch cheaper phones, in response to increasing competition for low-end mobile phone market, against Chinese competitors.

It is reported that the new Nokia mobile phone unveiled next week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. This shows that Nokia is changing strategy. In the past two years, in order to catch up with Apple and Samsung, Nokia has once strategic focus exclusively on expensive smart phone.

The Nokia ready to launch cheap mobile phones, and is intended to compete Chinese companies such as Huawei and ZTE. Nokia will also launch a relatively low price Lumia smartphone, the phone is running Windows Phone 8 operating system.

HTC reportedly did not use a larger screen for Windows Phone 8 device because the maximum resolution limit imposed by Microsoft.

The initial plan is to develop a mobile phone HTC Windows Phone 8 to equate screen used in the Android-based Droid DNA, but Bloomberg reported that HTC is considering suspending plans for WP 8 maximum resolution is 720P not 1080P.

Actually, Microsoft has increased the maximum limit of resolution for the Windows Phone platform WVGA previous generation. In June, Microsoft confirmed that the platform will support 3 pieces of resolution of 720p (1280 x 720), WXGA (1280 x 768) and WVGA (800 x 480). The Huawei Ascend W2 has a large enough screen with an megapixel camera capable of recording Full HD video with dual LED flash.

Rumors about Microsoft’s plans to build a smartphone with their own Windows Phone 8 platform becoming stronger. Even now some evidence emerging that have been circulating on the internet.

Those smartphones are, at the time of its release later be referred as Surface Phone. Microsoft is said to have worked to develop the mobile phone.
