Earlier in the day, Xiaomi confirmed that the Redmi Pro will indeed have an OLED display. Although there are hundreds of other devices with OLED screen in the market, for Xiaomi, it is going to be their first device featuring an OLED screen.

Xiaomi, today, released new official teasers and in one of the teasers, celebrity Chef Liu Shi Shi is shown cooking an “OLED PING”. Other teasers reveals that Liu Shi shi is going to make “ten nuclear double stem head”, and “Mentor” Liu Hao is going to make “brushed gold potato” (literal translations from Chinese).

RELATED: Xiaomi Redmi Pro Confirmed! Coming on July 27

With these two dishes, which will be revealed in detail in the next two days, Xiaomi could be trying to say that the Redmi Pro comes with a Deca-core processor (Helio X25) and dual cameras. Well, that’s exactly what we will take from the teaser as these features have been revealed before.

What we already know is that Redmi Pro will come with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 4GB RAM, up to 128GB native storage, would support dual SIM dual standby full CNC and MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0. In terms of pricing, your guess is as good as ours ! But earlier reports have said that it could be higher than other Redmi models.
We first had decent camera phones, but for action junkies, a smartphone camera wasn’t an ideal solution. This led to the birth and eventual growth of the action camera market. It’s time now, I think to look beyond action camera’s too and grace 360-degree cameras. With Virtual Reality going mainstream, there is a lot of requirement for good 360-degree content and devices.

The trouble with the current generation of 360 cameras has been that either they’ve been not really easy to use or have been very costly. However, Nico360 seems to have an answer to all. It is a tiny 360 camera and also supports live broadcasting.

Nico360 is listed on Indigogo as the world smallest 360 cameras and it does borrow some design inspiration from GoPro cameras. However, unlike the Ricoh Theta S and Samsung 360, it is much smaller and square in shape.

Nico360 is capable of recording 360 degree videos at 2K resolution at 30 FPS. It can record 360-degree videos at a resolution of 25 megapixels. It has two 16 MP spherical cameras mounted on either side of the body and buttons to power on/off the device, click images, switch modes from video to images is located on the left side of the body of the camera.

Nico360 comes with a 32GB on board storage and is capable or live streaming as well, making it a device to watch out for. It is compatible iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices and it comes with a 1400 mAh battery too.

An action camera should not just be compact and durable, it has to be waterproof too. The company claims that Nico360 is not just splash proof but waterproof too. On the pricing front, Nico360 will be available for $199. Early backers of the campaign can get the 360camera for $99 on the crowdfunding site IndieGoGo.

For those looking for a 4K camera, the latest Xiaomi Yi camera that is priced at CNY 1,199 or $185 is a pretty good option.

However, we were really unaware about how will this new Iris scanner technology work? Thanks to the latest leaks, we know how exactly it will unlock the device.

The leaked images of a working prototype show that the Galaxy Note 7 will use infra-red scanning method for the iris scanner to unlock the device. The biggest advantage of this technology is that it can unlock the device even at night or other extremely low light situations. Leaks also suggested that Samsung’s iris recognition technology can emulate the conventional fingerprint unlock in terms of speed.

What we already know about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which is launching on August 2nd is that it will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 5.7 inches/ 6-inch 2K super AMOLED double curved screen and 6GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage.

RELATED: A bunch of working Galaxy Note 7 pictures leaked online

On the imaging front, the Galaxy Note 7 is expected to feature a 5MP front camera, and a 12MP rear camera. It should be dustproof and waterproof with IP68 level certification as well.

A big question is that, would you buy such a powerful device if it will be priced around (rumored) CNY 6300/USD 950 ? To be honest, a lot of Samsung fans will surely do.

After Samsung, Xiaomi is planning to host an event where it will launch its new flagship device. This seems to be an exciting and powerful device coupled with Xiaomi’s latest ROM MIUI 8.

Earlier today there were leaks which revealed that Xiaomi’s next device will be a very powerful one. The new leaked image on Chinese social media site states that Xiaomi’s upcoming device will sport 5.5 inches 1080p OLED display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor.

This new device will also feature the front fingerprint sensor like Mi 5, 4GB/6GB LPDDR4 RAM options along with 64GB/128GB internal storage. It will also have a large battery of 3700 mAh capacity to juice this powerful hardware.

The camera on this new device will be the highlight feature as it is said to be same camera sensor found on the Galaxy S7 (which is one of the best camera phones in the market today), i.e. either the Samsung ISOCELL S5K2L1 or the Sony IMX260. A 4-axis OIS along with this powerful sensor will surely give amazing pictures.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 was officially launched just a few days back and now we are getting news of it powering a few devices already as yesterday we heard about Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe apart from a couple of Nexus devices.

Unfortunately, like most leaks that originate from Weibo, we can’t verify the information leaked today. Only time will tell whether the upcoming Mi flagship, most likely the Mi Note 2, is as powerful as revealed by the image today.

Samsung has shared media invites for the 7 Unpacked 2016 event which will take place at 11:00 a.m. EDT in New York on August 2, 2016. Simultaneous launch events will take place in Rio de Janeiro at noon and in London at 4:00 p.m. The invite itself is pretty minimalistic and shows an S pen and a loading icon.

What we already know by now is that the Note 7 will feature top of the shelf hardware and is supposed to sport either 5.7 inches or a 6 inches display. The leaked prototype images confirmed that it will be a huge phablet with a curved display like the S7 Edge and Samsung’s trademark Home key button beneath the screen.

As it has become a norm these days with Samsung, it may release different devices for different markets. Note 7 is also expected to be launched in 2 variants, a Snapdragon 821 and another one with Exynos chipset. Rest of the features may be static like the Super AMOLED screen, Dual Pixel camera as the Galaxy S7 Edge. RAM may vary between 4GB / 6GB depending on the model and the market.

As for now, let us just wait for the official launch and in case you want to watch the event live, there will be a Live streaming of the New York event at www.samsung.com and Samsung Newsroom (news.samsung.com/global)

Overheating is another pain point in smartphones. With ZUI 2.0, as announced at the time of launch, Lenovo has added a feature that will identify apps that cause overheating accurately and control the app, resulting in no overheating of the device.

The highlight of this update is the much awaited and talked about feature, one click overclocking . This will allow users to overclock the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15 Ghz to be overclocked till 2.30 GHz giving the already powerful processor an instant performance boost when needed.

Lenovo additionally has also started a ZUK ZUI 2.0 beta program where beta users will receive a push notification of system updates. ZUK Z2 Pro, ZUK Z2 and ZUK Z1 will begin to receive the final version update ZUI 2.0 upgrade notification by this month itself.

This year, the company has launched a similar program wherein Mi Note users can get a free upgrade to Natural Bamboo Cover free of charge.

The offer started on 4th July and will be live until 31st July. Mi owners only need to take their Mi Note, to any authorised service shop and the glass cover on their phones can be replaced with the natural bamboo cover, free of charge.

However, there are a few conditions that must be met to get this free upgrade, and is available on a first come first serve basis. Each user will be entitled to 2 upgrades only and the offer is limited to in-store replacement only.

Xiaomi also seems to have an advice for the users who are looking to avail the offer. The company has mentioned that the bamboo covers looks amazing on the white version. But for the black and pink versions, users need to be careful as it might not be as good looking as it looks on the white ones.

As per Xiaomi, the replacement bamboo cover is made of best quality natural bamboo found in the southern part of China, which is known for its strength and delicate string texture. The thin arc-shaped structure is 0.9 mm thick and weighs 5grams less than the original glass version. The bamboo cover is waterproof and will not deform quickly. Each case carries a unique texture giving the Mi Note a lightweight, thin and delicate sense of natural bamboo texture.

This leaked image shows that Meizu Pro 7 features Samsung S 7 like rounded corners and glass body. This 3D technology has been successfully tested on S7 and it makes the device very comfortable to hold.

The back of Meizu Pro 7 is minimalist in design and just has a camera, flash, and Meizu branding. We haven’t got any official confirmation from any Meizu officials yet regarding the authenticity of this leak. In case this stands out to be true, then we are looking at an extremely premium looking flagship device.

Additionally, we have the previous leaks that almost confirms the “Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge” like dual-curved screen.

As of now what we know is that the Galaxy Note 7 will have dual-curved display but it may be of 6-inches rather than 5.7-inches as found on its predecessor.

According to a listing on India’s import-export database site Zauba.com, a device bearing a serial number SM-N930R4 with 6-inches screen size was imported in India from South Korea on 1st July. The said serial number SM-N930R4 corresponds to the Galaxy Note 7.

However, the actual device may come with a different set of specifications as this may just be a prototype for testing purpose. We cannot event count out the possibility of human error in mentioning 5.7-inches as 6-inches.

While we are already aware that this upcoming flagship device will feature 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 823 processor and that it will feature a USB type C port, a first in Samsung’s devices, we will have to wait for just about a month more to see rest of the features of the Note 7.

eCommerce portal OPPOMART has listed not one but 17 iPhone 7 and 7 Plus accessories for sale. While most of the cases for iPhone 7 are available to purchase, the cases for iPhone 7 Plus are up for preorder. Even tempered glass covers for both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are listed which wasn’t the case when we first covered this news.

These cases and protective glass covers may give you a fair idea of the design, size of the phone as well as the screen. What we can make out from the cases is that iPhone 7 Plus will have twin rear cameras while the iPhone 7 may just come with a single rear camera. There may be a speaker grill on the back side on iPhone 7 Plus while the iPhone 7 may not have one. Touch id would remain at the front, just below the screen.

While the pricing of these accessories may be pretty attractive, starting $2.99 and going up to $19.99, we would still suggest you, to rein in your spending right now and wait till the official launch of the devices first and then buy relevant accessories.

This will be launched in August 2016 around the launch of its main competitor flagship device Apple iPhone 7.

Samsung Galaxy Note 6’s configuration were leaked out again on Weibo. While we knew some of the configurations, few of them were heard for the first time. First of all, Note 6 will be powered by a 5.8-inch screen (5.77 inches, to be precise), and the resolution should also be 2K. It will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor is an upgraded version of the current processor Snapdragon 820 found in all the current flagships. There are talks about the another version of the Note 6 which will house the latest Exynos processor.

Continuing the trend of latest flagships, like Vivo Xplay5 and LeMax 2, Note 6 will indeed have a 6GB ram. This device will be supported by Samsung’s DRAM production line, hence production capacity and supply should not be any problem.

Going by the leaks, Note 6 will have 256GB internal memory. We are not sure if it will support extendable memory. However, with 256GB already in your device, we don’t think anybody will ever need to extend it further.

Battery life should also not be a problem on galaxy Note 6 as a 4200 mAH battery will power the device and will come with fast charge support. S7’s award-winning IP68 waterproof and dustproof technology will be extended to Note 6 as well, and underwater operation certainly will not be an issue.

In terms of screen, like the S7, Samsung is likely to continue with the same tradition of 2 variants, one with a curved screen, dubbed as the edge, other with a plain surface. But for the exact specifications, we will have to wait till the launch date nears.

Samsung, Apple, and Huawei remain at the top 3 positions. Overall, there were 334.9 million smartphones shipped worldwide in the first quarter of 2016, IDC said.

Samsung‘s smartphone shipments declined 0.6 percent. Galaxy S7 and S7 edge and J-series were the focus areas for Samsung. While Apple’s smartphone volumes slipped to 51.2 million units, down 16.3 percent, a first in 13 years.

Huawei has on the other hand gained from the likes of P9, Mate Series, and Nexus 6, along with entry level devices from its Honor brand. Huawei shipped 27.5 million devices with a growth of over 58 percent!

OPPO registered a growth of staggering 153.2 percent and shipped 18.5 million smartphones. OPPO’s growth has been the strongest among the top 5 smartphone makers in the world. Although OPPO is a very unfamiliar name in western countries, it derives 20 percent of its sales from overseas markets.

Vivo, which clocked 123.8 percent growth has less than 10 percent of its overall sales from markets outside China. The company shipped 14.3 million units during this time.

“Lenovo benefited with ASPs below US$150 in 2013, and Xiaomi picked up the mantle with ASPs below $200 in 2014 and 2015. Now Huawei, OPPO, and vivo, which play mainly in the sub-$250 range, are positioned for a strong 2016,” said Melissa Chau, senior research manager with IDC’s Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker.

Apple also has faced a steep decline of approximately 25 percent, still it is at number 2 with an overall market share of 15 percent globally. While, Samsung’s numbers were roughly the same for the quarter of global smartphone sales.

The configuration and quality of devices can easily be compared to flagships of major global brands. Every device that comes out has top notch hardware, however, what these phones lack in, if at all, is the quality research that goes into creating a perfect device.

Over the period of time and after gaining experience in the market brands like, Xiaomi, Huawei etc. have started innovating. For Instance, Mi 5 has an incredible 4-axis image stabilisation technology which produces amazingly stable videos and images even if the device is highly mobile. Huawei P9 is a dual camera phone with Lecia certification!! The Meizu PRO 6 is not far behind, as the phone is equipped with ten ring flash at the back. These sort of innovative products come with experience and these three, Mi, Meizu and Huawei are leading in innovation.

Another young brand that is quietly innovating and is trying to come up with a really good all-round device is OnePlus. Yesterday evening, OnePlus CEO, Liu Zuohu aka Pete Lau posted a photo on his microblogging a/c with a caption “Park”. On first look, one may simply ignore this as a random shot. But if you closely see the image, then you realise that it is captured with a mobile device. Now relate the same with the upcoming OnePlus 3 for a moment and everything falls in place.

This image has near perfect Depth of Field or Bokeh Effect, the details captured, colour reproduction is worth noticing. Is Liu Zuohu trying to hint that the highlight of “OnePlus 3” will be its camera? Prior to this post as well we know that OnePlus is working on its next flagship which is most likely to be launched in May, thus his post becomes very relevant.

What we already know about OnePlus 3 is that it will have Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB ram along with 64GB internal storage. It may come with 2 memory option, like its predecessors. It will have an 8MP front and 16 MP rear camera and will support full NetCom. Other features may include a fingerprint sensor and fast charge. But for the price will OnePlus still continue with around $300 for the OnePlus 3 ?

Sources now have revealed information more than Mi’s liking. The Mi Max will be sporting a 1080p 6.44-inches screen, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. It will come with a HUGE 4500mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor at the back and will support dual SIM China Netcom. All this, priced at just 1299 CNY or USD $200!!

However, on the basis of the information received from the 3C certification centre, Mi Max, unfortunately, will not support fast charging technology. It may take up to 3.5 hours to charge its mammoth 4500mAh battery from 0-100%. However, we still feel that this price of 1299 CNY or USD $200 is very impressive.

What are your thoughts?

Today, Mi cofounder, Hong Feng, shared a sneak peak of MIUI 8 in a video on Weibo. This video showed how one can create notes using an app called Mi Notes. Using a finger swipe downwards, a user will be able to create a new note and with two fingers swipe upwards, the notes can be deleted.

As for the visual effects, it’s really impossible to describe, you must watch the video here to feel the difference.

According to the rumors, Huawei Honor 5C will be released on 28th April and its highlight will be the all new Kirin 650 processor in it.

As per the leaks on the benchmark site, Geekbench, Kirin 650 is an octa-core processor and is clocked at 1.7GHZ. It single core score is 881 while the multi-core score is 3781. Its multi-core processing seems to be better than that of Mediatek P10’s score of 3371.

As for the complete details, Kirin 650 uses an octa-core A53 (4 × 1.7GHz + 4 × 2.0GHz) architecture, 16nm technology, Mali880MP2 GPU and supports LTE Cat.6 technology. It is, however, not clear whether Kirin 650 will support full Netcom.

If this processor is not released before the Huawei P9 youth version, Honor 5C would be the first device equipped with the Kirin 650 processor. Honor 5c will house a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage and will be running on Android 6.0 system. Honor 4C was released almost a year back and is due for an update.

In terms of the camera, this device will come with an 8MP front camera and 13 MP rear camera and a 2900mAh battery will power the device. Honor 5C will house a fingerprint sensor at the back side of the device and will have a full metal body with gold, silver and gray color options.

The launch is tomorrow, so more details coming your way in the next 24 hours.

Withings is headquartered in France and was founded in 2008 by Chairman Eric Carreel and CEO Cedric Hutchings. It has approximately 200 employees across its locations in Paris, France, Cambridge, US and Hong Kong.

Withings’ products include activity trackers, weighing scales, thermometers, blood pressure monitors, home and baby monitors and more. Withings’ own products are accompanied by an ecosystem of more than a hundred compatible apps.

“We have said consistently that digital health was an area of strategic interest to Nokia, and we are now taking concrete action to tap the opportunity in this large and important market,” said Rajeev Suri, president & CEO of Nokia.

“With this acquisition, Nokia is strengthening its position in the Internet of Things in a way that leverages the power of our trusted brand, fits with our company purpose of expanding the human possibilities of the connected world, and puts us at the heart of a very large addressable market where we can make a meaningful difference in peoples’ lives.”

This deal is expected to be formally completed by the third quarter, after which Withings’ 200 employees will join Nokia Technologies, and its CEO Cedric Hutchings will report to Nokia Technologies head Ramzi Haidamus.

Xiaomi will not only introduce Mi Max and Mi Band 2 but also will bring the long awaited MIUI 8.

An update on Weibo account of Mi announced, “MIUI 8 will be released on May 10, along with Mi Max, you always wanted new features, there are a whole lot of new designs, new experiences. ” Later Xiaomi also tweeted from Xiaomi Global account and an update on MIUI forum confirmed the same too.

Compared to the current version, MIUI 8’s design has changed all-together. It not only has the material design, but the overall look and feel is refreshing.

In addition to the new design of the UI interface, we also found some interesting features. In the notification bar, apart from a few commonly used notifications, we found a small Cloud music application. In previous versions of MIUI, this app wasn’t there.

This announcement goes in line with morning announcement of Mi Max where Mi had hinted about the launch of a range of new applications and services.

There will be other highlights too apart from Xiaomi’s first phablet, in this conference. Going by the preparations, it seems Mi is really excited about this product launch.

Mi Max comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.8 GHz. Although there are rumours that Mi has developed a custom processor called “Rifle” and may use the same in Max. However, we would prefer to wait and see if that is at all true. The phone will feature 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory along with a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The device is running Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and houses a 6.4″screen . We strongly feel that Max will be priced at 1799 yuan or $275, whats your thought on the pricing ?

However, apart from its official price, everything has been leaked right from configuration to HD images of the device.

From the real images once can make out Meizu M3’s basic design easily. Its design has been derived from Meizu M2, It has the same 2.5D glass screen, a fingerprint sensor housed in the rectangular home button as spotted on TENAA website.

The back panel of the device is made of polycarbonate material. On the bottom of the device, one can see the speaker grill on either side of USB type-C charging interface, which ideally should also allow fast charge technology.

Meizu M3 measures 141.5 × 69.5 × 8.3 (mm) and weighs around 130.69 g. It will come in white, blue, grey, pink, gold colour options. The battery capacity of Meizu M3 has been upgraded to 2800mAh compared to 2500 mAh on Meizu M2.

Antutu benchmark leak shows a benchmark score of 39,000 and it also states that Meizu M3 has a Mediatek 6755 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It will have a screen resolution of 720P, a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. The phone is running on Flyme 5.1.3.0 on top of Android 5.1

Apart from the upgrade in battery department and processor, the biggest upgrade from Meizu M2 is on the network side. Meizu M3 will support full 4G Netcom and LTE Cat. 6 and supports dual sim standby. Also, it is rumoured that this device will be sold at 599 Yuan, then it is definitely a steal deal.

In the process, Lei Jun accidentally leaked 2 heavily anticipated Mi products, the Mi Max, and second generation Mi Band.

Lei Jun later stated that the biggest phone in the history of Mi will be released on May 10th. It is said that in addition to screen large (expected 6.4 inches), the battery capacity will be a pleasantly surprising factor.

Earlier, Mi’s official a/c on Weibo, shared a real image of the device which only revealed, the top front corner of the device was visible. What we could make out of the image were the symmetrical design and the missing Mi logo.

In addition to Mi Max , Mi band II also appeared for the first time, it is likely to be released along with Mi Max. Live shots of the event show up ll reveal Lei Jun wearing the smart band on the left hand, the new Mi band comes with a screen and can display time. Next to the screen there is a button-like design, we are pretty unsure of its functionality at the moment.

It also needs to be noted that Mi has developed custom processor named “Rifle” and it is supposed to be launched along with other Mi products, next month. Mi Max is supposed to be carrying the “rifle” processor, however, let’s wait till the launch of the processor to assess the performance and applications.

Samsung does not want to let this opportunity go waste. Thus, the Note 6 becomes a highly anticipated product.

Off late there have been a lot of rumours about Samsung Note 6, doing rounds. If we go by them, then this phone is supposed to come with 6GB RAM, along with Snapdragon 823 (MSM8996 Pro) processor. It is also rumoured that select models of Note 6 may carry the same processor as S7 Edge.

The Note 6 will have the model number SM-N930. The screen will be 5.77-inches with a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution. The phablet, as has been rumored, will carry 6GB of RAM with 32GB of native storage.

Today afternoon, @ice universe, the man who often leaks details about Samsung smartphones on Weibo, revealed about the processor on the device “Samsung Note 6 to have the MSM8996 Pro (Snapdragon 823).”

One the contrary, this leak shows a different processor. As per this, the Samsung Exynos 8890 processor powers the device.

Last year Samsung release the Note 5 a bit early to hog the limelight against iPhone 6s, this year Samsung may repeat the strategy to block iPhone 7/Plus by releasing the Note 6 early. Let us wait and watch if these are 2 separate devices that will be launched, however, 6GB ram is confirmed

A few e-commerce sites have gone ahead and listed the device with full specifications and to be honest, the specifications and the images posted there, look very similar to the details already leaked out.

Although there is some variance in the description of a couple of the sites as one of the mentions that the V8 has 5.2” screen while the other one states that it will come with a 5.5-inch screen. Rest all the specifications remain the same.

It will be equipped with a 2.0GHz Kirin 950 processor and dual 12MP rear cameras. Huawei P9 also is coming with the same pair of cameras, however if you just remove Lecia certification, camera features should be exactly the same in both the devices.

The front-facing camera on the Huawei V8 is an 8 million pixel shooter, it comes with a 3000mAh battery and dual SIM card connectivity. The device is 6.95mm thick, weighing around 144g and runs on Android system 6.0 with Huawei’s EMUI on top.

The Huawei V8 will come in two variants 3GB RAM/32G ROM and 4G RAM/64G ROM (LPDDR4 1866MHz memory and eMMC 5.0 storage) and the price will be starting at $399 or 2590 yuan. As far as the accuracy of this leak is concerned, we will have to wait till the May 10 launch

We saw a white version of the device listed on one of the websites and it looked beautiful. It is built with a three-stage design, the middle is metal, and the front panel is covered with 2.5D glass with a bezel-less screen.

The news that Xiaomi seems to have been discreetly developing its own processor has been doing rounds for some time. The question, however, is, will the first processor they develop be a high-end processor?

As per the sources, Mi developed processor codenamed Rifle, is ready and may be used in the upcoming device, Max. A benchmark leak also confirmed the same and the benchmark score of the device is also above 110,000.

This contradicts the earlier leaks, which stated that the first in-house developed processor from Mi, will be with low-end specifications and will be used in Redmi series.

However, Mobile China Alliance (MCA) Secretary-General, Lao Yao, recently said that Mi Max won’t be using this chipset. Also, if the other leaks are to be believed, Mi is still using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor in Mi Max and it will be a full metal 6.4” phablet, with Mi logo and fingerprint scanner located at the back. It may come with a 4GB ram and may be priced at 3000+ RMB ($462).

We also have another leak from GFXBench that confirms other specifications listed above but mentions a Qualcomm Hexa-Core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and 2 GB ram along with 16 GB internal memory.

We should not be surprised if the largest phone in Mi history, Mi Max, gets released next month itself. We, definitely, are looking forward to this launch, are you ?

However, in addition to the announcement of Zuk Z2 Pro and pricing details, Lenovo revealed some information about Motorola’s upcoming device.

Yang Yuanqing, Lenovo’s CEO, said Motorola will be releasing a new device on June 9, but the model name and other details have not been revealed yet. Mr. Yang added that the new product will be nothing less than “exciting”.

Going by the recent leaks, Motorola currently seems to be working on two new devices, the Moto G4 as well as Moto G4 Plus. A leaked hands-on video of the former has already been doing rounds since a few days.

The overall design still carries the classic style of Motorola cell phones. It may come with a metal frame and a squarish fingerprint sensor housed in a home button on the front panel of the device, is the biggest change.

However, Moto G series has always been positioned for the low-end market segment, such products would hardly be regarded as “exciting”.

At CES earlier this year, Lenovo had teamed up with Google and displayed a mysterious new Project Tango project based device, which sported an augmented reality interactive 3D scene scanner. Are we about to see this device as Motorola’s new product? For a change, a launch date and time has been declared. It’s going to be an exciting time as we wait for the specific details.

The company launched Mobile Phones, VR Headset, Televisions and a Car. LeEco announced Le 2, Le2 Pro and Le Max 2 at a very pocket-friendly price of 1099 yuan, 1399 yuan, and 2099 yuan, respectively.

As the press conference drew to the end, Feng Xing, President of Mobile Business at LeEco, said that at the time of joining the company in 2014 he wanted to take the mobile business from scratch to 3 Million handset sales within the first year. Within first seven months itself, they were able to sell 4 Million handsets.

Feng Xing said with at the current pace and the recent developments at LeEco, the overall mobile phone sales will soon exceed 10 million units, and this year’s goal is 15 million units sale.

He mentioned that, after seeing the performance of sales of Le 1S, channel partners trust has been strengthened and they feel that the second generation phones will sell like hot cakes. China Unicom itself sees a case of selling 6 million phones instead of 3 Million.

As per the last release yesterday, within 3 hours of the launch event 4 million people had registered for the second generation superphone’s first sale.

It is also reported that the 1st sale of the 3 recently released superphones will be held at 10:00am on April 26. However, the company is planning to sell only 1 Million phones in this sale, which means only 1 out of 4 people who registered for the sale will be lucky enough to get the device.
