The German audio brand Blaupunkt, known for its high-quality earphones has just launched a new pair of budget-friendly TWS earbuds in India dubbed the Blaupunkt BTW100. So let’s take a close look at its specs and features.

The earbuds feature a contoured design made to fit inside the ear comfortably. It has a straight stem that comes with chrome edges and the charging case has a clamshell-like design.

The earbuds house a 10mm driver that produces punchy bass along with clear mids, and highs. The brand claims that the device produces “Stereo high definition sound” that allows users a pleasant listening experience.

The earbuds also come equipped with the “ENC CRISPR Technology” that filters away all environmental noise when calling and only picks up human voices. The news arrives from known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who shared the information on Twitter. Kuo stated that the Cupertino based giant will finally be unveiling this highly anticipated product during a dedicated event sometime in January 2023. The analyst further added that the iPhone maker will be revealing the product along with new tools for the developers, which will be shipped within “2 to 4 weeks” after the event.

Notably, Kuo claims that pre orders for the upcoming mixed reality will begin in the second quarter of next year. Furthermore, the customers will be able to buy the headset before the WWDC event in 2023. Previous reports have already talked about the development issues that the new product has faced, which has led to delays. This gadget will be a pricey product that will cost somewhere around a whopping 3,000 US Dollars. The mixed reality part of it means that it will be able to run both Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality based applications.

Huawei has launched its latest noise-canceling headphones in China for 499 yuan ($75). The Huawei FreeBuds 5i is being marketed as a great accessory for the young. Excellent sound quality, multi-mode noise reduction, and ear adaptation technology are featured in the FreeBuds 5i.

Huawei FreeBuds 5i is designed for the young and fashionable at heart. It sports a family-style cobblestone design and a rounded shape. Three color options are available for the FreeBuds 5i namely interstellar black, island blue, and ceramic white. The new wearable is a very comfortable non-sensing device and can be used for extended periods. It comes lighter than its predecessors. During the WWDC event, the Cupertino based giant had unveiled the new watchOS 9, which is set to bring a number of new features. One of these included a new biomonitoring sensor for AFib burden detection. As per official notes, the brand’s latest Apple Watch will will be able to detects irregular rhythm by monitoring the heartbeat. These irregular rhythms could be indicative of atrial fibrillation (AFib).

For those unaware, an AFib occures when the lower and upper chambers of the heart do not beat in sync. So, the new Apple Watch Series 8, that is expected to launch later this year, could monitor how often a person is in a state of atrial fibrillation over a period of time. Notably, MyHealthyApple reported that the FDA has even given the iPhone maker clearance for the atrial fibrillation tracking feature.

When shipped, the Watch Series 8 might be able to save lives through this feature. AFib affects as many as 9 percent of the population that is above the age of 65 years or older and 2 percent of the population below 65 years of age. However, some of the people affected by AFib never experience any symptoms, and if left untreated, it could lead to risk of heart failure or a stroke.

While LG has officially exited the smartphone market completely, it appears that it still has operations related to smartphones in general. Apparently, the company’s batteries will be shipped in Samsung Galaxy A and Galaxy M series of smartphones.

According to TheElec, the South Korean tech giant’s Galaxy A series of budget and Galaxy M series of mid range handsets will be powered by LG battery packs. Notably, this isn’t the first time the brand has used components from its former South Korean rival, with its high end Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series models also featuring LG made batteries. Now, it appears that LG is planning on growing its cooperation with Samsung by also making batteries for the more affordable smartphones lineups as well.

As per the report, the new batteries will be produced at LG Energy Solution’s Nanjing plant and will be transported to ITM Semiconductor’s local plant in Vietnam. After this, the batteries will be packaged and delivered to a Samsung smartphone factory. The report further added that an industry official had stated that ITM Semiconductor likely offered its services at an aggressive price. In other words, Samsung did not intentionally seek out LG Energy Solution to supply batteries for the future Galaxy A and Galaxy M series of smartphones.

Earlier this year, Lenovo announced the Lenovo Legion Y90, a gaming-focused smartphone. The company is now reportedly working on a toned-down gaming smartphone featuring the all-new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip onboard. It carries the “Halo” codename, but there is no word on its final marketing name. The alleged device has bagged approval from the 3C authorities of China, which indicates that it will not take too long to go official in the homeland.

An upcoming Lenovo smartphone with the L71901 model number has surfaced in the database of China’s 3C authority (via). The listing reveals that it may ship with a 68W charger. While the marketing name of the L71901 is yet to be confirmed, it seems to be the Legion Halo phone that leaked at the beginning of this year.

The Legion Halo device is expected to feature a P-OLED panel of 6.67 inches. It may carry support for a Full HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The Halo phone will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, which may carry support for 68W fast charging. For selfies, it will arrive with a 16-megapixel camera on the front. Its back panel will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, which will be accompanied by 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel auxiliary cameras.

The Halo device will have 256 GB of UFS 3.1 native storage and will run Android 12. Lenovo is likely to unveil it in Q3 this year.

Over the last couple of days, we have covered multiple rumors and reports regarding the upcoming Nothing Phone (1), which is the company’s first smartphone. While the official launch date was never revealed, a new teaser from the brand has hinted at the date of release for the highly anticipated handset.

The company’s official Twitter shared a tweet in which it said just “This week.” This basically hints that Nothing will be announcing the launch date for the Phone (1) later this week. It is also entirely possible that the company meant an official launch later this week as well, but based on the brand’s tendency to create hype. The new tweet might just be another way of building anticipation.

The brand might also reveal some key details or the tease the full design of the phone as well. Based on previous reports the Phone (1) will be launching around the second half of next month, possibly around 21st July 2022. But it remains to be seen if that really is the case. The rumors so far has revealed that the brand’s first phone will pack a Qualcomm chip, which might be the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

Oppo Reno8 5G has reportedly been spotted on Multiple certification websites, including the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Russia’s Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), and National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), as well as on the Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS). The listings reveal that the smartphone will have a 4,500mAh battery and run ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. Oppo Reno8 5G has already been launched in China and it is expected to make a global debut this month.

As initially spotted by MySmartPrice, the Oppo Reno8 5G has been listed on various certification websites with the model number CPH2359. The NBTC listing as spotted confirms the moniker “Oppo Reno 8 5G”.

As per the FCC listing, the Oppo Reno8 5G will pack two cells of 2,250mAh making the total battery capacity of 4,500mAh. The listing also suggests the alleged phone will run ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. The smartphone is said to measure 7.67mm thin and weigh 179 grams.

Moreover, the Oppo Reno8 5G with the same model number has been spotted on the BIS certification website as well hinting that the smartphone will be manufactured in Noida. The smartphone also received EEC, TKDN, and GCF certifications.

The Realme GT Neo 3’s black variant has a matte finish, whereas its yellow edition has a chequered design. The handset measures 162.9 x 75.8 x 8.65mm and weighs around 194.5 grams. The Realme GT Neo 3T has arrived in a single trim of 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, which is priced at IDR 5,499,000 (~$380). The handset will be available for pre-orders in Indonesia between June 7 and June 24 through Realme Indonesia’s website, Shoppe, Tokopedia, and Okulaku. Its first flash sale will be carried out on June 25. It can be purchased in two colors such as Dash Yellow and Shades Black.

As scheduled, Motorola has officially launched the Moto G82 5G in India. The device was first announced for European countries in May. The latest smartphone from the Lenovo-owned brand offers features like a 10-bit OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, OIS-enabled rear camera setup, and more. Let’s take a look at its entire specs along with pricing and availability for the new market.

Motorola Moto G82 5G Specifications

The Motorola Moto G82 5G flaunts a 6.6-inch 10-bit pOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+) and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The centered punch hole panel supports up to a 360Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, and DC dimming. The screen has a 402 PPI and SGS certification for low blue light emission as well as motion blur reduction.

The body of the phone is made of plastic. It measures 160.89 x 74.46 x 7.99 in dimensions and weighs 173g. It is IP52-rated for splash resistance.

The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It boots near-stock Android 12 and offers an ad-free experience and ThinkShield security.

For photography and videography, the smartphone uses a triple rear camera system and a 16MP front-facing camera. The setup on the back consists of an OIS-assisted 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP 118° ultra-wide unit with support for depth sensing, and a 2MP macro snapper.

The connectivity options on the device include dual SIM card slots, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and NFC. In addition to a USB Type-C port, it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a hybrid MicroSD card slot, Dolby Atmos-support dual stereo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Finally, the Motorola Moto G82 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

Motorola Moto G82 5G Price and Availability in India

The Motorola Moto G82 5G arrives in two memory configurations in India: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. It can be availed in either Meteorite Gray or White Lily color options.

The handset is priced at ₹21,499 ($277) and ₹22,999 ($296) in the region. However, buyers can avail of a ₹1,500 instant discount on SBI credit cards and EMI transactions. Hence, with the offer, the price of the phone comes down to ₹19,999 and ₹21,499.

The smartphone will be sold via Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and leading retail stores across the country starting from June 14.

iPadOS 16 brings Stage Manager feature, but not all iPads will get the taste of it

Apple announced the iPadOS 16 yesterday at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The latest version of the company’s iPad-focused operating system features a lot of multitasking upgrades but probably the most interesting one is the Stage Manager feature. It will let you resize windows, so you can easily hide away other apps behind the primary window. It will also let you see which apps are active and transition between tasks more easily.

iPads are great devices, they offer impressive performance and utility but it’s not quite good at multitasking. However, that changes now with the new iPadOS 16. With the new OS, you’ll be able to do a lot more with your iPad. It features some much-awaited features like the Weather app, Collaborative document editing, and of course the Stage Manager. In addition, the iPadOS 16 will also be getting some features from the IOS16 like the Shared Photo Library and SharePlay in Messages.

Stage Manager is by far the most important feature of the iPadOS16. It brings a new way to multitask with multiple overlapping windows and full external display support. Stage Manager can automatically organize apps and windows, allowing you to drag and drop windows from the lower-right corner or open apps from the Dock to create groups of apps for different tasks. But there’s a catch, the Stage Manager feature is only available on iPads with an M1 processor or later.

“iPad is our most versatile device, and we’re excited to take what it can do even further with iPadOS 16,” said Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering. “With Stage Manager, which takes multitasking on iPad to a whole new level, plus new ways to share and collaborate via Messages, Safari, and the new Freeform app, and new pro features like Reference Mode and Display Zoom, users can get even more done on iPad.”

Apple announces new 13-inch MacBook Pro powered by the new M2 chipset

Apple, along with the new M2 processor and the redesigned MacBook Air, has also launched a new 13-inch MacBook Pro which is powered by the newly announced chipset.

The previous version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro was among the first devices to come powered by the new Apple Silicon chip and the company continues the same for the next-generation processor.

In terms of design, this new version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro mostly remains unchanged compared to its predecessor. There’s still a Touch Bar at the top of the keyboard, a feature that has been removed from the 14-inch and 16-inch models.

Unlike the new MacBook Air, this laptop does not come with support for a MagSafe charger. Instead, there are two Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports for both charging and peripherals.

The new 13-inch MacBook Pro features a 13.3-inch Retina display, with a P3 wide color gamut and TrueTone technology with up to 500 nits of brightness. At the top of the screen, there’s a 720p FaceTime HD camera, making it the lowest resolution webcam in the entire MacBook series product.

Under the hood, the laptop is powered by the Apple M2 processor which is built on the second-generation 5m process. It is claimed to offer an 18 percent faster CPU, a 35 percent more powerful GPU, and a 40 percent faster Neural Engine.

Apple says that with a faster 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU, working with RAW images in Affinity Photo is nearly 40 percent faster than the previous generation, and up to 3.4x faster for users who are upgrading from a model without Apple silicon.

It also comes with support for ProRes encode and decode in the media engine of ‌M2‌, which allows users to play back up to 11 streams of 4K and up to two streams of 8K ProRes video, and they can convert their video projects to ProRes nearly 3x faster than before. As for the battery life, it offers up to 20 hours of video playback on a single charge.

The new 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro has a starting price of $1,299 and will be available for purchase from next month but the company has not revealed the exact date yet.

Google Pixel 6a listing appears on Facebook Marketplace ahead of release

The long-awaited Google Pixel 6a smartphone is scheduled to go on sale next month. Ahead of the July 28 release date for the device, it has been listed on Facebook Marketplace. However, the listing was subsequently removed.

The Google Pixel 6a also came on the radar a few days back when a TikTok user released an unboxing video. The unboxing video provided a closer glimpse of the budget Pixel phone. We know that the Pixel 6a will be bundled with a Google-branded adapter and USB-C cable. Although the Pixel 6a Facebook Marketplace listing was taken down, we already have some additional images of the device.

As with the unboxing video, the Facebook Marketing listing of the Pixel 6a was of a charcoal color model. It is unclear whether the same user in the unboxing video made the Marketplace listing but that is likely the case.

As a reminder, the Pixel 6a packs a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED screen with support for just a 60Hz refresh rate. The display screen is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. For optics, the Pixel 6a packs a 12.2MP main camera teaming up with a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. The device is powered by Google’s in-house Tensor chipset with AI-powered features. The processor pairs with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device equally features the Titan M2 security chip. The Pixel 6a has IP67-level water resistance capability and will be globally available from July 28.
