A few months ago, in September, Honor had launched the Honor Band 4 fitness tracker in China. Now, the company has confirmed that the fitness tracker will soon make its way to the Indian market.
Honor has started teasing the launch of the fourth-generation fitness band and while no specific date has been revealed, its likely to get launched tomorrow alongside the Honor 8C.
For those who are unaware, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has scheduled a launch event in India tomorrow for the launch of Honor 8C smartphone. The phone was originally launched in China earlier this year in August as a successor of the Honor 7C.

Coming back to the Honor Band 4, the fitness tracker comes with a 0.95-inch OLED display and a 2.5D glass on top. Just like the Xiaomi’s Mi Band 3, the Honor Band 4 is also water resistant up to 50 meters and also recognises Swim strokes.
It also supports functions such as sleep tracking, exercise tracking, pedometer, continuous heart rate monitoring with Huawei TruSeen 2.0 technology, and sedentary reminder. In addition to tracking activities, the device also shows notifications on the OLED display and even offers an incoming call-mute function.
The device also comes with built-in NFC support, meaning that it can also be used to make payments. Under the hood, the fitness tracker is powered by a 100mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver standby time of up to 14 days.
As for the pricing, we’ll have to wait for the company to make an official announcement. In China, the Honor Band 4 is priced at 199 Yuan, which roughly converts to Rs. 2,000 or $29. Last year, the company had launched the Honor Band 3 in India with a price tag of Rs. 2,799 (~$40).
We expect similar pricing for the Honor Band 4 to be under Rs. 3,000. For comparison, the Xiaomi Mi Band 3, which launched in India a couple of months ago, is available for Rs. 1,999 (~$28).
