Choosing between them isn’t just about price, so here’s a detailed comparison to help you decide which smartphone makes more sense.

At first glance, both Vivo X200T and X300 share a similar design language, blending a premium glass back with a metallic side frame. The sides, front, and back are all flat, with the rear also featuring a big circular camera island. Other identical design elements include uniform bezels on the front and an IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. Vivo has started rolling out a new OriginOS 6 update for the X300 series globally on December 10, 2025. The update adds a few new features to the global build of OriginOS 6, bringing some elements already available in the Chinese version to international users. The update focuses on sound control, lockscreen customization, and new widgets, though not all additions feel well thought out.

The update introduces three main changes. These include Global Silent Mode improvements, Text-Style Lockscreens, and two new widgets related to gaming.

The Global Silent Mode update is the most useful change in this release. Earlier, enabling Silent Mode muted calls and notifications, but media volume stayed active. With the new update, users can now disable media volume as well when Silent Mode is turned on. This option is available in the Sound and Vibration section of the settings menu. The change makes Silent Mode more complete and avoids the need to manually lower media volume in quiet situations.

Text-Style Lockscreens have also been added to the global version of OriginOS 6. These are the same lockscreen styles that were introduced recently in the Chinese version. The feature allows users to apply different text-based designs, fonts, and decorations on the lockscreen. It does not add new functionality, but it offers more visual customization and gives users more control over how their lockscreen looks. The designs are well done and fit the overall style of the interface.

The update also brings two new widgets, and their quality is mixed. The first is the Game Space widget. This widget provides a toggle that lets users quickly access installed games. It does not show any recommendations, which keeps the interface clean and focused. This widget feels appropriate for a premium device and works as expected.

The second widget is the Game Center widget. Unlike the Game Space widget, this one pushes game recommendations directly on the home screen. This approach feels intrusive and breaks the otherwise clean user interface. For a flagship phone, forced recommendations inside a widget are hard to justify.

It’s compact, yes, with a 6.31-inch display, but the rest of its spec sheet reads like a full-sized flagship. That’s what makes it stand out in 2025’s crowded compact flagship space.

Compact phone with flagship energy

The first thing that sets the Vivo X300 apart is its 6.31-inch LTPO OLED panel with symmetrical 1.05mm bezels on all sides. Even Apple’s iPhone 17 and Xiaomi 17, both compact contenders, don’t offer this kind of uniformity.

Apple finally added 120Hz ProMotion to its base iPhone, but Vivo goes further with a variable refresh range from 1Hz to 120Hz, 2160Hz PWM dimming, full DC-like dimming, and a local peak brightness of 4500 nits. This is brighter than the Xiaomi 17’s 3500 nits and significantly ahead of the Galaxy S25’s 2600 nits.

Looking at the image posters, the standard Vivo X300 packs a 200MP ISOCELL HPB main camera with an f/1.68 aperture and OIS support (Optical Image Stabilization), a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra wide angle lens, and a 50MP Zeiss APO telephoto shooter, which is a Sony LYT602 sensor with OIS support.

Just like before, the camera system arrives with both Zeiss tuning and Zeiss lenses for an improved photography experience. On the other hand, the Vivo X300 Pro also gets the same 200MP camera, but this is a Zeiss APO telephoto shooter with OIS on the flagship phone. Imaging: Where This Phone Punches Above Its Weight

Telephoto Lens: Sharp Details with Minor Trade-Offs

Our testing team captured real-world sample shots using the telephoto lens, with impressive results: sharp-edged grass plants, intricate garden roof tiles, detailed sculptures on ancient buildings, and the sleek architectural lines of the Shanghai World Financial Center were all rendered with exceptional clarity. This is no “mini” downgrade of a flagship camera—it functions as a capable standalone imaging system.

That said, we observed a minor limitation at 223mm focal length: the AI sharpening algorithm creates a trade-off. While it boosts edge sharpness, it also introduces slight smearing, especially in overcast weather or complex indoor lighting. In these conditions, detailed objects may appear slightly AI-generated—a flaw, but one that is forgivable when comparing a standard model to its Pro-tier counterpart.

A key advantage is the 50MP periscope telephoto lens equipped with CIPA 4.5 professional anti-shake technology. Whether capturing portraits or macro shots of flower petals, results remain consistently sharp—a feature many brands omit from standard models to cut costs.

Vivo’s new X300 series is set to launch in India on December 2, and since this is a follow-up launch after its debut in China, we are fairly familiar with most of the specs. The only details under the hood are the prices, and fortunately, a new leak has now taken care of that as well. 

Tipster Abhishek Yadav took to X to reveal the Indian prices for both the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, plus the cost of the optional photography kit. And if the leak is accurate, the lineup is not going to be cheap.

India is getting the Vivo X300 starting with the 12/256GB variant at Rs 75,999. The 12/512GB model will retail for Rs 81,999, and the 16/512GB variant will be priced at Rs 85,999.

As for the Vivo X300 Pro, it will only be available in India in a single 16/512GB variant for Rs 109,999. The photography kit, which Vivo has been pushing as a pro-friendly add-on, is expected to cost ₹19,999.

The prices are unsurprisingly higher compared to China. The X300, for instance, starts at around Rs 54,700 for the 12/256GB variant, while the X300 Pro’s 16/512GB model is priced at roughly Rs 75,000 in the mainland.

Vivo X300 / Pro Specs

For the price, you are getting flagships powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip. The X300 is a compact model with a 6.31-inch OLED display and a 50MP selfie camera. The rear setup includes a 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope unit. And despite its compactness, it packs a 6040mAh battery.

The Pro brings a bugger 6.78-inch display with the same 50MP selfie camera. The back has a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 200MP telephoto unit. It gets its fuel via a 6510mAh cell.

Vivo is getting ready to launch the X300 series in India on December 2. Ahead of the launch, the company has teased an exclusive Red color variant for the standard Vivo X300, which was leaked back in October. The teaser was posted on Vivo India’s official X handle, confirming that this Red finish will only be available for the base model and not for the Pro or FE versions.

The video shows a Red and Grey color combination. The back panel is Red with a plain leather-like finish, and the Vivo branding at the bottom appears in Grey. The frame is also Grey, and the antenna lines match the same shade. Vivo says the compact X300 has “never looked this powerful,” highlighting how the Red finish changes the look of the device.

This is similar to what Vivo did with the Vivo X200 Ultra, which launched in April 2025 and also came in a Red variant. The brand appears to be continuing the same approach for its flagship lineup this year.

Landing pages for the Vivo X300 series are already live on Flipkart and Amazon. These listings confirm that the phones will be available on both platforms and highlight features such as the Telephoto Birds Shot mode and the Vivo X300 photography kit for Indian buyers.

Camera details for both models have also been revealed. The standard X300 features a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.4-inch Samsung HPB sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 1/1.95-inch LYT602 periscope telephoto camera with telemacro support. The phone is shown in the new Red color.

The X300 Pro includes a 50MP 1/1.28-inch LYT828 main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 200MP 1/1.4-inch Samsung HPB sensor for its 85mm periscope telephoto camera with telemacro. Both models come with a 50MP front camera. The Pro model is shown in Gold.

Vivo has also highlighted the X300 Pro Photographer Kit, which includes a case and a ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender. It will be sold separately, similar to the Europe bundle.

The phones are confirmed to feature the Dimensity 9500 SoC, V3+ and VS1 dual imaging chips for the Pro model, and run Origin OS 6 with features like Flip Cards, Vivo Office Kit, and One-Tap Transfer with iPhone.

Teasers also show that the standard Vivo X300 will come in a new red variant, which isn’t available in any other market yet. In terms of specifications, the X300 and X300 Pro are expected to pack the same internals as their Chinese counterparts.

The Vivo X300 is a compact phone equipped with a 6.31-inch OLED 1.5K 120Hz screen, a 50-megapixel front camera and a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (periscope) triple camera unit. It has a 6,040mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

On the other hand, the Vivo X300 Pro is a larger device with a 6.78-inch OLED 1.5K 120Hz display, a 50-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (Sony LYT-828) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 200-megapixel (Samsung HPB, periscope telephoto) triple camera unit. It houses a 6,510mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

On the other hand, the Vivo X300 Pro uses the same 200MP Samsung HPB sensor for its telephoto shooter, while the main camera is a larger 50MP 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT828 sensor along with a 50MP ultra wide angle lens. For selfies and video calls, both models get a 50MP camera on the front. The higher end Pro was teased in the gold variant, and the base version can be seen in red.

Apart from this, a notable aspect teased in the image posters was the Photographer Kit and case for the Vivo X300 Pro. This basically brings a Zeiss 2.35x telephoto extender for the flagship phone. The Chinese tech giant’s base X300 model also comes with MediaTek’s latest and greatest Dimensity 9500 SoC. It sports a relatively compact 6.31-inch BOE Q10+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.05mm uniform bezels, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The Chinese variant of the Vivo X300 packed a large 6,040mAh battery pack, but the global version is getting a noticeably smaller 5,360mAh battery in EU.

Although, you still get support for 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless fast charging. The rest of the specs remain identical as well, so you still get Zeiss triple camera lenses on the rear with three 50MP cameras, and a 50Mp selfie shooter on the front. This model also runs on the Android 16 OS based OriginOS 6 custom skin out of the box. Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.4, IP68/69 rating for water and dust resistance, and dual stereo speakers.

The Vivo X300 was just announced in the European market in a single 12GB + 256GB storage configuration, which costs 1,049 Euros. To recall, the same variant in China costs 4,399 Yuan, which is nearly half the EU pricing. It is also listed in two color options, namely Phantom Black and Halo Pink.

Vivo’s big European debut for its X300 and X300 Pro flagships has hit a last-minute snag — the company accidentally revealed key pricing and release details just hours before the official launch. And while the phones are set to pack serious hardware, early signs suggest they’ll cost a little more than some of their biggest rivals.

According to the leak, Vivo revealed Eurozone pricing for both models on its official website, confirming what many had suspected: the X300 and X300 Pro won’t come cheap. The two devices, already launched in China earlier this month, will carry higher European price tags than Oppo’s Find X9 (€999) and Find X9 Pro (€1,299). However, Vivo plans to soften the blow with a round of launch discounts and promotional codes that will go live later today.

As per the accidental listing, the Vivo X300 will start at €1,049, making it €50 pricier than Oppo’s equivalent. The X300 Pro was listed at €1,399, which is €100 more than the Find X9 Pro. Apple’s iPhone 17 arrived with a surprising twist this year, not just a generational spec bump, but a clear intent to undercut the dominance of aggressively priced Chinese flagships. With a $799 starting price, Apple is clearly recalibrating, offering ProMotion, a 48MP Ultra Wide camera, and the new N1 networking chip in a base model. But does that make it better than the likes of the Xiaomi 17, Vivo X300, or Oppo Find X9?

Let’s break it down.

Display and Design

The iPhone 17 features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion support for the first time in a base model. It now supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and Always-On Display functionality. Peak outdoor brightness reaches 3000 nits, which is a significant step up from its predecessor.

Performance

The A19 chip on the iPhone 17 is based on a 3nm architecture with a 6-core CPU and a 5-core GPU. Apple says the CPU is 1.5 times faster than the A15 in iPhone 13, with the GPU more than doubling the performance of the older generation. The new chip also includes a 16-core Neural Engine for AI tasks.

Xiaomi features a Leica-powered triple 50MP setup, including a Light Fusion 950 sensor and telephoto lens. Vivo uses a 200MP sensor paired with a Zeiss-certified periscope and telemacro lens. Apple claims up to 30 hours of video playback on the iPhone 17. The phone supports 40W USB-C fast charging and 25W MagSafe or Qi2 wireless charging. This marks the first time a base iPhone supports fast charging above 20W.

Chinese flagships dominate in this area. Xiaomi’s 7000mAh battery supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, along with reverse charging. Vivo includes a 6040mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless speeds. Oppo uses a 7025mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Apple improves charging speed, but Android rivals continue to lead in capacity and endurance.

Connectivity and Extras

The iPhone 17 introduces Apple’s N1 wireless chip, which supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, Thread networking, and improved Personal Hotspot and AirDrop performance. It also retains Face ID and adds the new Ceramic Shield 2 coating for better scratch resistance.

Chinese phones come with more features on paper. Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo include in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, infrared blasters, reverse wireless charging, and high-precision GPS with NavIC support. Vivo and Oppo both offer IP69 ratings, while Apple retains IP68. Apple maintains a smooth ecosystem and polished integration, but Android competitors push more hardware-level features.

Pricing and Value

Apple priced the iPhone 17 at $799 for the 256GB model, which is lower than the 256GB versions of the Xiaomi 17 and Vivo X300. This puts Apple in a more competitive position, especially in markets where iPhones traditionally cost more.

The Xiaomi 17 starts at 4499 yuan (around $630) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. Vivo’s X300 starts at 4399 yuan ($618) for the same configuration. The Find X9 is positioned higher at 999 Euros for the 12GB + 512GB model. Chinese phones offer better hardware value, but Apple’s improved base configuration and pricing strategy make the iPhone 17 an attractive option in more markets.

Verdict

The iPhone 17 is not better than its Chinese rivals in raw specifications. It still lags in charging, camera versatility, and display brightness. But it fixes previous limitations in display refresh rate, camera quality, and charging speed while maintaining Apple’s ecosystem advantage.

More importantly, it now does this at a more competitive price. Apple is no longer just playing the brand card. Flagship smartphone launches used to be simple. There was one premium model, one Pro version for those who wanted more, and maybe a standard version for everyone else. But that line has almost completely blurred in 2025.

The so-called “base” models from major Chinese brands have grown powerful enough to challenge their own Pro siblings. They now offer high-end cameras, premium materials, and top-tier chips, all at prices that make Pro models feel unnecessary.

The latest proof of this comes from Vivo, Xiaomi, and Oppo, whose new phones — the Vivo X300, Xiaomi 17, and Oppo Find X9 — were launched within weeks of each other.

Although these three phones sit below their Pro counterparts, they look and feel like top-tier devices in their own right. What’s even more interesting is how differently each company interprets the idea of a flagship phone for everyone.

Design and Display

On paper, the three phones share similar footprints. The Vivo X300 and Xiaomi 17 are almost identical in size, hovering around 6.3 inches, while Oppo’s Find X9 stretches slightly larger to 6.59 inches. 

All three offer some level of IP68 water and dust protection, though Vivo and Oppo go further with IP69 ratings, which means resistance to high-pressure water jets. This feature is almost unnecessary for most people (here’s why), but it’s here nonetheless.

There’s not much to separate them in display technology either. Each uses an LTPO AMOLED panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and color standards that now seem mandatory for phones at this price. 

Only if we nitpick, Xiaomi claims that it can reach 3,500 nits peak brightness, Vivo claims 4,500 nits, and Oppo claims 3,600 nits. While these are peak figures and you’re rarely hitting these numbers, it’s reassuring to know all three should remain perfectly usable outdoors.

All three panels support HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and high-frequency PWM dimming, with pixel densities hovering around 460ppi. In real use, they’ll likely look nearly identical, though the default color calibration depends on how the brand prefers it. 

Performance

The clearest separation between these phones comes from what’s inside. Xiaomi uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while both Vivo and Oppo rely on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500.

On paper, Qualcomm still leads in raw CPU and GPU performance. Xiaomi’s 8 Elite Gen 5 uses custom Oryon cores with clock speeds up to 4.6GHz and the new Adreno 840 GPU.

Vivo and Oppo’s Dimensity 9500 chips are not far behind; they are built on the same 3nm process and have their own “C1 Ultra” cores running at 4.21GHz. But MediaTek’s focus is on efficiency and sustained performance, and in practice, the difference may be small unless you push the phones with extended gaming or AI workloads.

What’s more notable is how similar these three feel in day-to-day use. All three phones use UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM to ensure flagship-level responsiveness. 

Cameras

The biggest philosophical split lies in the camera systems. Vivo is the most camera-focused brand here, and it shows. The Vivo X300 leads with a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB main sensor, accompanied by two 50-megapixel cameras — one telephoto, one ultrawide. 

Then it has Zeiss optics and the ability to import 3D LUTs. And it even supports a detachable telephoto extender lens sold separately, something previously reserved for its Ultra series.

Xiaomi 17 uses a triple 50-megapixel setup, each tuned in collaboration with Leica. The main lens is a 1/1.31-inch sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, and the telephoto offers 2.6x optical zoom. It also supports 8K video and Dolby Vision HDR, matching its Pro siblings in video flexibility.

Oppo’s Find X9, meanwhile, keeps things simple. It sticks with three 50-megapixel sensors but relies on the established partnership with Hasselblad for color tuning. 

The 3x periscope telephoto offers real optical range, and image quality should remain strong thanks to the large 1/1.4-inch main sensor. Like Vivo, Oppo has a telephoto extender for the Find X9 series, but it’s reserved for the Pro model. 

Battery and charging

Vivo will launch the X300 and X300 Pro globally on October 30 after introducing them earlier this month in China. Both smartphones are powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, marking the company’s first use of this chipset.

While Vivo has not confirmed full global release details, tipster Paras Guglani has shared information on color and storage variants ahead of launch. According to his post on X, the standard Vivo X300 will be available in Halo Pink, Iris Purple, Mist Blue, and Phantom Black. Global variants will come with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The 1 TB model sold in China will not be offered internationally.

The Vivo X300 Pro will come in four finishes too: Mist Blue, Phantom Black, Cloud White, and Dune Brown. Like the X300, the Pro version will feature up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.

The tipster has also revealed that the these phones will be available in different colors across regions. In Australia, the X300 Pro will only be available in Phantom Black and Dune Brown only, whereas, the X300 will get an exclusive Red color variant.

The X300 and X300 Pro will be Vivo’s first phones to come preloaded with OriginOS 6 in India. The new UI promises to be cleaner and offer a better user experience than the existing Funtouch OS. As far as the global launch is concerned, the X300 series is scheduled to debut on Oct. 30 for the European markets.

At present, there is no information about the Vivo X300 series’ pricing for the Indian market. For reference, the X200 and X200 Pro were priced at Rs 65,999 and Rs 94,999 at launch. There’s a possibility that the X300 and X300 Pro may arrive in the Indian market with similar pricing. With a first-week-of-December launch tipped, the X300 series’ official teasers are expected to surface sometime in the next few weeks in India.

The Vivo X300 series also includes the Vivo X300 Ultra, which is expected to launch in China in Q2 2026. There’s no clarity on whether the Ultra edition will be released in markets outside of China.

Coming back to the Indian market, November is expected to see the launch of as many as three new flagship phones apart from the Find X9 series. These include the OnePlus 15 and iQOO 15, whose landing pages have already gone live on Amazon and official websites, and the Realme GT 8 Pro.

While the Vivo X300 series will be the first set of premium devices that feature the Dimensity 9500 in China, it will arrive after the Find X9 series in India. But considering the Vivo X200 lineup arrived in India in December 2024, we can expect a similar launch timeline for the Vivo X300 series.

MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset is set to power a new generation of flagship smartphones. Built on a 3nm process, the chip features console-grade ray tracing, improved AI capabilities, and major gains in power efficiency.

It introduces an updated NPU, a faster CPU architecture, and support for advanced display and camera features. The first phones with the Dimensity 9500 will arrive in October, with Vivo and Oppo leading the charge.

Vivo X300 & X300 Pro

Vivo will be the first brand to launch Dimensity 9500-powered phones. The company will unveil the Vivo X300 series on October 13 in China. The lineup includes the standard X300 and the higher-end X300 Pro.

As per leaks, both devices use BOE’s Q10 Plus LTPO OLED displays with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The X300 has a 6.31-inch screen, while the X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch panel. The panels support minimum brightness as low as 1 nit for better eye protection.

Vivo has equipped both models with the Dimensity 9500 chip. This enables faster performance, hardware-based ray tracing, and AI enhancements for imaging and power management. The X300 Pro has a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony LYT-828 sensor, a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP JN5 ultra-wide camera.

The X300 has a slightly different configuration, using the same 200MP HPB sensor as its main camera, alongside a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP Sony LYT602 periscope unit. Both phones support 4K 60fps portrait video recording and Zeiss optics.

According to a recent leak, the X300 will feature a 6,040mAh battery, while the X300 Pro will use a larger 6,510mAh unit. Both support 90W wired charging and fast wireless charging. The phones will ship with Android 16 and Vivo’s OriginOS 6, which includes ecosystem support for Apple devices.

Oppo Find X9 & X9 Pro

Oppo has scheduled the China launch of the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro for October 16, and a global launch event is set to follow on October 28. Both devices will use the Dimensity 9500 chip, with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 running out of the box.

According to leaks and rumors, the Find X9 Pro features a 6.78-inch flat LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen supports up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness and uses Tianma’s latest 1-nit bright eye-protection panel. Oppo has confirmed an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display.

The Pro model uses a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide, and a 200MP Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto camera. The module also includes a 2MP multispectral sensor.

Oppo has designed the camera layout with a rounded-square design and included Hasselblad branding. The phone supports an external Hasselblad teleconverter for added zoom capabilities. For selfies, a 32MP lens is present on the Find X9, while the Pro version upgrades to a 50MP front-facing unit.

The Find X9 Pro includes a 7,500mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The Find X9 uses a slightly smaller 7,025mAh battery and retains the same charging speeds.

The Find X9 and X9 Pro have received certification in multiple markets, including Thailand, India, Singapore, and Malaysia, confirming their international rollout plans. Oppo has also revealed that ColorOS 16 will be released on October 15, just ahead of the Find X9 launch.

Why Dimensity 9500 Matters

The Dimensity 9500 uses an eight-core architecture with a 4.21GHz Ultra Core, three 3.5GHz Super Cores, and four 2.7GHz Performance Cores. MediaTek claims a 32 percent increase in single-core performance and a 17 percent boost in multi-core performance over its predecessor. The chip also uses 55 percent less power at peak load.

MediaTek has added support for 4-channel UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM at 9600Mbps, enabling faster data transfers and smoother multitasking. The new NPU 990 improves large model processing and allows 100 percent faster AI image generation at 4K resolution while consuming 33 percent less power.

The G1-Ultra GPU delivers a 33 percent jump in graphics performance and improves power efficiency by 42 percent. Features like MegaLights in Unreal Engine 5.6 and support for Nanite rendering position the chip as a serious option for mobile gaming.

The Imagiq 1190 ISP allows for 320MP image capture, Dolby Vision 4K recording at 120fps with stabilization, and adaptive display enhancements via MiraVision.

The X300 series will arrive with a decent battery size jump, as the X200 featured a 5,800mAh battery, whereas the X200 Pro packed a 6,000mAh battery. Meaning, you still get a large circular camera module, although the X300 series have a flat rear panel and frame.

Official teasers have confirmed a Lucky Color, Cozy Purple, Free Blue and Pure Black colors for the vanilla model and the X300 Pro will arrive in Wilderness Brown, Simple White, Free Blue and Pure Black. Other notable design elements include IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance and 7.95mm thin body (7.99mm on the X300 Pro). 2. Xiaomi 17

Xiaomi 17 just launched in China as the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phone, and it’s also confirmed to launch soon in India. In China, the company also launched the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, but there’s no certainty around their India launch.

The standard Xiaomi 17 has a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with a variable 1-120Hz refresh rate and 3500nits of peak brightness. It’s IP68-rated and features Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass protection.

The rear side features a triple camera setup similar to that of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14. There’s a 50MP OIS-enabled main shooter, a 50MP telephoto shooter with OIS and 2.6x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. It’s capable of recording up to 8K video, whereas the 50MP selfie camera can record up to 4K. The battery comes in at 7,000mAh (Si/C) with support for 100W wired, 50W wireless, and 22.5W reverse wireless charging.

3. Vivo V60e

Launch: October 7, 2025 (expected)

The Vivo V60e is expected to be released on October 7th. However, we already know pretty much everything about the device. According to a recent leak, the V60e will be the first phone to feature a 200MP camera in the segment. Additionally, there will be an 8MP (likely an ultrawide unit) on the rear side, as well as a 50MP selfie camera.

The smartphone reportedly brings a 120Hz AMOLED screen, Dimensity 7360 processor, and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. It will also offer an IP68/P69 rating, IR blaster, NFC, and three major Android updates. The performance-packed iQOO 15 is expected to be unveiled in China next month. Later this year, it will be released globally. The smartphone is said to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP OIS-enabled primary shooter, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and an ultrawide camera. Also, since the OnePlus and Hasselblad partnership has ended, the OnePlus 15 will likely introduce an in-house image engine. The phone will boot Android 16 OS, likely with different custom skins: OriginOS 6 in China and OxygenOS 16 for the rest of the world.

6. Oppo Find X9 series

Launch: October 16, 2025 (official)

This one will also be a flagship series, but unlike many others on the list, Oppo is opting for the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, which, by the way, performs neck-and-neck in benchmarks (see the benchmark data here). It will launch in China on October 16, with the global launch expected towards the end of the month.

Oppo has been teasing the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro lately. However, there could also be an Ultra model in the pipeline, which might be released later with a Snapdragon chip. According to a recent leak, the Find X8 will feature a 6.59” 120Hz 1.5K OLED screen, a Dimensity 9500 chip, and a 7,025mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The triple rear camera setup may include a 50MP Sony LYT808 primary sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide unit, and a 50MP Sony LYT600 periscope lens. There may be an additional 2MP True Chroma sensor for better color accuracy. The front side features a 32MP selfie shooter.

The Find X8 Pro is expected to bring a larger 6.78-inch OLED screen with LTPO support, the same Dimensity 9500 chipset, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a bigger 7,500mAh battery with the same charging capabilities. It also features triple 50MP cameras, but with better sensors: a Sony LYT-828 primary sensor, a Samsung HP5 periscope camera, and a Samsung JN5 telephoto lens. The selfie camera is said to be a 50MP unit.

7. Vivo X300 series

Launch: October 13, 2025 (official)

Alongside a mid-range Vivo V60e, the brand is also preparing to unveil a high-end Vivo X300 series. It’s officially confirmed to launch in China on October 13, and might be released outside China before the end of the year.

The Vivo X300 series comprises the X300 and X300 Pro, both of which will feature the Dimensity 9500 chip at their core. Besides, the X300 will reportedly feature a 6.31” 120Hz LTPO panel, a 50MP selfie camera, and a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide unit, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The phone is said to offer a 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint 2.0.

As for the Pro model, it may offer a 6.78-inch OLED screen, a more powerful camera setup, and a bigger battery with support for wireless charging as well.

8. Redmi Note 15 series

Launch: October 2025 (expected)

Launched in August in China, the Redmi Note 15 mid-range series is expected to come to India in October. The series consists of three models: Redmi Note 15, Note 15 Pro, and Note 15 Pro+.

The Redmi Note 15’s key specs include a 6.77” 120Hz AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, a 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 4,800mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro brings a 6.83” 120Hz AMOLED screen, a Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor, a 50MP + 8MP dual rear camera setup, a 20MP selfie camera, and a massive 7,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ offers a 6.83” 120Hz AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, triple rear cameras (50MP + 50MP + 8MP), a 32MP selfie camera, and a 7,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging.

9. Motorola Edge 60 Neo

Launch: October 2025 (expected)

The Edge 60 Neo was announced at IFA 2025 and is expected to be released in India in October. It’s powered by a 4nm Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

The Motorola phone features a 6.36” LTPO OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution, HDR10+, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and a 300nits of peak brightness. It features a triple camera setup on the back, including a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 13MP ultrawide unit, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. It has a 32MP selfie camera.

The battery comes in at 5,000mAh with support for 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. Other key highlights of the Edge 60 Neo include an IP68/IP69 rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, NFC support, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
