We have been hearing about this super sized smartphone for quite some time now, however, it was only a few days back that we realized that it could be a new lineup itself. And we were quite right in assuming so as the company has today confirmed it. Just yesterday, we heard a rumor that the device was going to be one of the two Snapdragon 810 powered smartphones that will be announced in the market soon. And the rumor was right indeed! There will be two variants of the new Mi Note. One which will be powered by the Snapdragon 801 processor and the other with the latest and the ever powerful SNAPDRAGON 810! Yes, there is a high end version of the Mi Note called the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro which will make many of the fan’s dreams come true.

Anyways, lets not waste any more time and move on to the specs of the device.First lets talk about this new HIGH END XIAOMI MI NOTE version. The phone will come with a 3D curved glass display. Yes, you heard it right! It features a 3D curved glass screen which will sport an impressive resolution of 2K on its 5.7-inch display. There will be Snapdragon 810 processor onboard with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB eMMC5.0 ROM. There will be a Sony rear 13MP camera with OIS and a 4MP ultrapixel front shooter, which will also end up in the regular Mi Note version. The Mi Note Pro will run on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The phone will support 4G LTE Category 9 networks and will be available for sale starting January 27 for a hefty 3299 Yuan ($532). This makes the high end Xiaomi Mi Note– the world’s second Snapdragon 810 powered smartphone (considered LG G Flex2 was already announced)! Rest of the features are the same as the regular version of the Mi Note, so lets move on to that now.

5427bcafjw1eoa78kq5chj21z4140dl2_副本

The regular version of the Xiaomi Mi Note will also feature a large 5.7-inch but with 2.5D curved display and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display will be a Negative LCD panel with the new Pixel level dynamic adjustment (NTSC color gamut up to 95 percent!).  Xiaomi just revealed that it will feature a lower 1920 x 1080p resolution display which translates into pixel density of 386ppi. The old Snapdragon 801 processor will power the device along with 3GB RAM onboard. There will be 16/64 GB internal storage options. At the back, there is a 13MP rear camera with dual tone dual LED flash and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization tech). The front camera will be of 4MP 2um Ultrapixel which is the same rear camera module from the HTC One M7.

Both the variants have the same body and design, so we can talk about them together. The phone won’t be as thin as expected. Xiaomi reveals that the Mi Note will feature a 6.95mm thin body, which is still slim for a device of this size. The overall measurements come to 55.1x 77.6 x 6.95mm. In comparison, the iPhone 6 Plus measures, 158.1 x 77.8 x 7.1 mm. As you can see, even the iPhone 6 Plus which is considered as a very thin phablet has a 7.1mm thin body. Also, the Xiaomi Note will weigh just 161 grams which is almost 12 grams lighter than the Apple phablet! Finally, a 3000 mAh battery will power all these features with fast charging 2.0. This is the minimum battery capacity that a 5.7-inch device requires. Since the large screen display will require a lot of charge to run for an entire day, this 3000 mAh battery may just be enough. Like Xiaomi teased earlier, the phone will come with ESS ES9018K2M DAC high performance two channel 32-bit mobile Hi-Fi Audio chip which is a great news for music lovers around the globe. This is the same chip used in many audiophile grade music players, blu-ray players, recording players and digital audio workstations. What’s more, you can get a the 499 Yuan ($80) headphones to take advantage of the full audio performance of the device. Finally, it will support 4G LTE dual SIM card dual standby.

Now, coming to the most important part of the announcement, the pricing of the Mi Note. Xiaomi has set an unbelievable price tag for this regular variant. The company has priced the device at 2299 Yuan which comes to around $371 which is an amazing price for a device with such specifications. This is the around the same price as Meizu’s MX4, so the competition is definitely getting tougher. The given price is for the 16GB version and for the larger 64GB storage variant, you’ll have to shell out a few more Yuan. The 64 GB Xiaomi Mi Note will be available for sale for 2799 Yuan which comes to around $451! Chinese Xiaomi Note users also can get accidental insurance for an additional 199 Yuan i..e $32.

Here are the key specs:-

  • 3D curved Gorilla Glass 3 with metal frame
  • 5.7-inch Sharp/JDI Full HD display (95% NTSC, 1400:1 contrast ratio)

Xiaomi Mi Note Steel Ball Impact Test And Drop Test

It seems that the Xiaomi has put a lot of effort to make a great device with its just announced Xiaomi MI Note not only on the inside, but on the outside as well. As we already know that the device will be powered by the beast of the chip – Snapdragon 810 (other specs are just being officially unveiled at the moment), we have something interesting to share with you, which involves a presentation about the Xiaomi’s new flagship phablet being abused in several ways.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOZ5i0_1Xv4&feature=youtu.be

The test, which was made by the company is called a steel ball impact test and a drop test, where the company tests how sturdy their new device is.

During the first test, the steel ball weight was chosen to be at 131 grams and it was dropped from the height of 30 cm right on the plastic back of the device. Of course, nothing happened to the device (who would show their own device fail on video?).

During the second test, the MI Note device was dropped face down from the height of 150 cm. It dropped right on the hard concrete floor and it seemed that it was too easy for the device as nothing happened to the screen.

Having said all this, we should say that most of the companies do all kinds of drop tests, which may be similar to these seen in the video above. Still, we are happy to see that Xiaomi is proud of making another sturdy device, which  can survive a few drops in different situations.

OnePlus May Have Hired the Whole IUNI’s Team for their Rom

OnePlus made a splash in 2014 with while being a new startup, but managing to grow extremely fast. They introduced the new concept of flagship grade device, which they called a “Flagship Killer”. Also, another interesting and appealing aspect of this company was its partnership with Cyanogen Inc. that enabled One devices to have this custom Android ROM to be preinstalled out of the box.

composition-main

Naturally, as the company grows, it wants to expand its versatility in many ways. One of them is being independent from other companies. For this reason, the OnePlus team decided that they could be better off by making their own software and thus assure the seamless hardware and software integration in their devices. Therefore, they decided to produce their own custom ROM, which is called OnePlus ROM.

It is indeed a pretty good idea, but it seems that the company is still looking for some new partnerships or at least seeking for help outside the company.

Screenshot 2015-01-15 08.38.11

This is confirmed by the latest rumours, which where announced by the @leaksfly on Twitter. It says that OnePlus team hired the whole IUNI (which is mainly known for its U2 and U3 devices) team to help them build up or even build the whole OnePlus ROM. That could mean that the IUNI’s team may implement some similar design and functionality elements in to the OnePlus ROM. What is more, we believe that it is not the best thing for OnePlus company since their ROM may be too similar to other Chinese ROMS, especially the one used in IUNI devices, which run company’s proprietary IUNI OS.

Xiaomi will release Snapdragon 810 & Snapdragon 801 smartphones tomorrow!

Well, we are just a few hours away from the official unveiling of the next Xiaomi flagship. And now we have some exciting news to reveal about tomorrow’s launch.

There have been many different versions of the upcoming flagship leaked in the past few days. Some say it will be the Mi4s, others say its the Mi5 while there’s even a section of population that say its a new lineup called Mi Note.

It is said that Qualcomm will hold an event on January 23rd where it will show off the new Snapdragon 810 processor. The leak says that even Xiaomi will be present at the event. The same leakster earlier said that the Xiaomi will announce two new devices tomorrow, one running on a Snapdragon 810 processor and the other running on the old Snapdragon 801 processor. This is the first time we are hearing about a Snapdragon 810 powered Xiaomi flagship and if this does turn out to be true, then fans will definitely have something to be excited about tomorrow.

Xiaomi will be the perfect partner to debut this powerful processor in China. So, it won’t be surprising to see a Xiaomi flagship run this latest processor. The same source even leaked out an invite for the Qualcomm’s event for Jan 23. We have added it below.

B7T9WNmCcAEGyyK

Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 is the most powerful mobile processor from the chipset maker till date. It is built upon a 20nm process and features the 64-bit architecture, big.LITTLE eight-core, and Adreno 430 GPU.

Xiaomi confirmed earlier today that there probably won’t be a Mi5 at the event, which leaves us with a new Mi Note lineup. This could be the one sporting Snapdragon 810! Xiaomi will also announce another device at the event, probably the Redmi Note 2 with Snapdragon 801.

Overall, it seems like tomorrow will be a great day for Xiaomi as well as fans. Stay tuned to our website for more such exclusive updates.

Xiaomi Note will be bigger than the iPhone6 plus and priced at around 4000 RMB (645.43 USD)

Xiaomi Note

It is going to be a serious month for Xiaomi as they are preparing to release new cell phones to compete with other companies. Recently, some photos were posted online. These photos are said to have been taken using the upcoming Xiaomi Mi5.

This afternoon, a staff member of Xiaomi revealed in his Weibo account that Xiaomi’s new flagship phone would be “almost twice as expensive as the Xiaomi Mi4”. In other words, it should cost somewhere around 4000 RMB. Nevertheless, he said that users will definitely flock stores to get their hands on it. This flagship phone is none other than Xiaomi’s upcoming Xiaomi Note (not to be confused with the Xiaomi Red Mi Note).

It has already been confirmed today that Xiaomi named its new phone the “Xiaomi Note.” Now, the question is, how big is its display screen? iSuppli Corp.’s Chinese Studies Director, Kevin Wang, has just posted in his official Weibo account the following message: “The phone’s original name is the Xiaomi Note, but is also called the Midada. It is also bigger than the 6 Plus!” In other words, the Xiaomi Note’s display screen must be more than 5.5 inches. It should be somewhere between 5.5 inches and 6 inches. It is most likely going to be 5.7 inches.

It is important to note, however, that because the iPhone 6 Plus’ screen-to-body ratio is pretty bad, its actual size should surpass other phones with similar display screen sizes. As a result, do not expect the Xiaomi Note’s actual size to surpass it.

As for the specifications, the Xiaomi Note is expected to use a 1080p display screen and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. It is also said to have 3GB RAM and a 13mp camera. It is also expected to receive a higher benchmark score than the Xiaomi Mi4.

The Serendipity S7 packs in a 5.5-inch display inside a 5-inch phone body!

serendipity s7 2

Some of the previous leaks of the Xiaomi Mi5 showed off a 5.5-inch phone with extremely slim bezels. However, later we came to know that those images were just renders and we probably won’t see such a device in reality anytime soon. However, there’s another company in the market which claims to have a phone with such ultra slim bezels. In fact, the phone is so compact and slim that it packs in a 5.5-inch display inside a body that is usually reserved for 5-inch phones.

serendipity s7 1

We are talking about the new Serendipity S7 which comes with ultra-slim bezels and high screen to body ratio. The phone claims to be extremely light with very thin borders and is reportedly one of the largest screen to body ratio phones in the market. It comes with LG’s 5.5-inch 1080p display. However, the measurements of 145 x 72 x 6.9mm makes it look like a 5-inch phone! What even more interesting is that the company claims that the device just weighs 120 grams even with the battery on board. The display makes up for an impressive 86% of the body of the S7!

serendipity s7 3

Apart from the renders, there’s also some pictures of the device in action. And yes, the bezels are as thin as the posters reveal, which clearly shows the extensive R&D capability of the company. The front features a 2.5D display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It also has a powerful anti-scratch coating with a beautiful silk texture on the back. There are no capacitive button below the screen, which means it will have on screen buttons.

Coming to the other tech specs, the phone will be powered by a quad-core processor supported by 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Ther e will be a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter. The Serendipity S7 features 4G LTE networks and supports dual SIM card dual Standby. It will have a 2600 mAh battery on board which will power all these specs.

serendipity s7 4

Overall, the S7 looks like an interesting handset. It features a large screen, is compact in size and has mid-range specs, which makes it a pretty good device. However, we still don’t know the pricing and availability details of the S7. We’ll update with more details as and when we receive it.

Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus Picture Leaked

With only one more day till the anticipated launch of the Mi5 according to the Xiaomi Facebook post, a new leaked photo of the highly hyped successor of the Mi4 has been found via leaksfly’s Twitter post. Our previous post from January 12 struck down the rumor that the new phone will be housing 20.1mp main cameras, since the leaked photo samples taken with the camera showed pictures with 4208 x 3120 resolution, proving that the new phone will be retaining the 13mp camera.

This update however, proves that the rumor mills are not far off with their speculations that the phone will be the thinnest phone released by Xiaomi yet. The device looks to live up to the speculations of being only 5.1mm thin, making it one of the thinnest phones aavailableon the market. The twitter post calls the Mi5 the Xiaomi Mi5 Plus, which is yet another revelation, since it shows that the launch might not just be covering Xiaomi Mi 5 but might just include the Mi 5 Plus together with it.

The Xaiomi Mi5 plus in the picture looks to be amazing, with barely any screen bezels. The screen encompasses the entire phone, and if rumors are to be believed, will be an impressive 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. The Xiaomi Mi5 is speculated to be powered by Snapdragon 805 with 3GB of RAM to save cost. With this in mind the Xiaomi Mi5 Plus might just be a more powerful version of the phone, with a Snapdragon 810 installed alongside a pricier tag that might be well worth it, considering the affordability of Xiaomi products. Other things to expect from this new flagship device, apart from the 13mp main camera resolutions and Snapdragon 805/810 processor, includes the 5.2-inch 2.5D glass with aluminium ally frames, an arced back shell, two color options, 3-4 GB of RAM, 16/64GB of storage and other incredible features.

Latest Xiaomi teaser hints about a new NOTE flagship

Things have been confusing for the past few days. The internet is flooded with many articles claiming to be the new Xiaomi flagship. Some say that is the Mi5 / Mi4S that’s going to be announced tomorrow, while others say it is the Redmi Note 2 that’s gong to be released at the event. Now, Xiaomi has revealed another teaser for the tomorrow’s event, this time its a poster saying the words “See you tomorrow, NOT5”

xiaomi-mi-note-flagship

This only increases the confusion about the upcoming flagship, but since this is the official one, lets ignore all other news that we saw in the past few days. According to the poster, tomorrow, we’ll see a new product called as the NOTE! Now, as you can see, there is a ‘5’ at the end of the word ‘NOT5’ instead of an ‘E’, so could the company be calling it the Note 5 or the Mi5 Note? But it doesn’t make any sense. What makes sense is something that one of our readers pointed out,– it could be “NOT 5″, meaning its not the Xiaomi Mi5 flagship that will be announced tomorrow like previously rumored. So, now there are two possibilities. One, it can be a new lineup called Xiaomi Note or it can also be called as the Redmi Note 2 as previously rumored. We know one thing for sure, there will be a device with the name ‘NOTE’, since the company had revealed this in the previous teaser.

xiaomi-NOTE-teaser

This could be one of the releases tomorrow, as another poster had said that Xiaomi will release two new devices at the Jan 15 event. Given that one of this bears the NOTE name, it will most likely be the bigger sized model. The screen size is not yet revealed, but we have a feeling it should be somewhere around 5.5-5.7inches. Anything less than that won’t justify the Note name, since the regular Mi4 comes with a 5-inch screen.

The specifications of this model is not yet confirmed but it is said that the display will feature a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and will be powered by the same 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor as the existing Mi4 flagship. The company had also said that the phone will be very thin and light, but as of now, we don’t have any particular figures to confirm the claim.

Anyways, this doesn’t really help to clear out the confusion about the Xiaomi device, but luckily, we don’t have to wait too long to know which flagship model will be unveiled since we are less than 24 hours away from the event.

OPPO R1C officially launched, costs 2499 RMB (403.50 USD)

OPPO R1C

It has been a busy month for Chinese cell phone manufacturer, OPPO, as the company has been preparing its first releases of the year. Last week, the OPPO U3 received its TENAA network license. This phone may be the world’s thinnest 4X optical zoom phone, measuring just 9mm in thickness. Yesterday, there was also a leak online that says that the U3 could be priced at 2798 RMB or 451 USD. There is also OPPO’s other new release, the OPPO R1C.

A few days ago, we reported that the OPPO R1C would be launched on January 14, 2005. In addition, several photos of the phone were posted online a few days ago showing that it will sport a sapphire glass panel. That is right! OPPO’s first release of the year has made its debut. This phone, not surprisingly, costs 2499 RMB and will go on sale at 10:00 AM on January 20. Those interested would have to pre-order.

The most remarkable thing about this phone is its back. You can see your reflection at every angle. Overall, it looks great. There is a sapphire edition as well has a white version. As for connectivity, it is a 4G cell phone that also has support for dual SIM cards.

As for its specifications, the OPPO R1C boasts a thickness of about 6.85mm. It uses a 5-inch 720p display screen. As for its CPU, the R1C uses Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor. As for memory, it has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, which can be expanded to 128GB. It also sports a 5mp front-facing camera and 13mp rear-facing camera (Sony IMX214, with a f/2.0 aperture). OPPO U3 could be priced at 2798 Yuan or $451 according to new leak

094819v72w707wyi63iuh3_副本

We were one of the first websites to report about the upcoming OPPO U3 smartphone. Now, we have received a set of tech specs and pricing of the OPPO U3. If these specs and pricing does turn out to be true, then we’ll soon see a mid-range large screen phablet in the market.

As per the leak as well as the TENAA listing, the OPPO U3 comes with a 5.9-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Inside, there will be a 64-bit 1.7GHz MT6752 octa-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. On the front, there will be a 5MP camera while at the back there will be a 13MP shooter. There is no word on the 4X Optical Zoom that we heard earlier. The phone will measure 8mm in thickness, which isn’t thin as per today’s standards, but is quite average for a 5.9-inch device. It will weigh 180 grams which is also quite decent for a device of this size. There will be a 3000 mAh battery onboard which will reportedly support VOOC fast charging technology.

Finally, the device will be priced at 2798 Yuan, which comes to around $451. This makes it a bit costlier than other offerings in the market like the Honor 6 Plus, OnePlus One, Xiaomi Mi4 and even the Meizu MX4. But OPPO is known for its exaggerated price tag, so this doesn’t come as a surprise.

094819ethiswt0hv0viph0_副本

Overall, the phones comes loaded with good specs, but if this price tag turns out to be real, then OPPO U3 may find it hard to compete with other smartphones in the market.

We have already seen a bunch of photos of the upcoming device in our previous article. We have added a few here, but check out the rest from the above given link.

So, what do you think about the leaked pricing of the OPPO U3? Will you buy one for $450?

Haier’s 15.6-inch tablet now up for pre-order at 1799 Yuan ($290)

In the past few years, smartphones and tablets have increased in size. The demand for large screen devices have led to an increase in the display size which is evident from the fact that the average size of flagship smartphones last year went up from 5-inches to 5.5-inches and for tablets it went up from 7-inches to 8-inches.

haier-s1-a600

But it looks like even an 8-9 inch tablet is sometimes not big enough. For those who require something more enormous in size, take a look at the Haier S1-A600 tablet which features a large 15.6-inch display! Yes, Haier is marketing it as a tablet although it packs a size which is normal only among computer and laptop displays. The 15.6-inch IPS panel sports a resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels which is kind of disappointing considering the low pixel density on the device. Nowadays, a 5.5-inch display features 1080p and even 2K resolution, so you can imagine the difference when you add 10-inches more keeping the same resolution. The large screen also adds to the dimensions of the device. The tablet will measure 400 x 240 x 15mm and weigh as much as 2.7kg. That’s heavier than many laptops that we have seen lately.

haier-s1-a600-1

As for the design, the Haier S1-A600 tablet comes with a simple yet attractive design. The body is made of magnesium alloy and has an aluminum chassis. The back features a folding stand  which can be hidden neatly within the body when not in use. The tablet sports a quad-core processor clocked at 1.8Ghz with 2GB RAM and 32GB eMMC memory. There is a 5000 mAh battery inside, which powers the device. Although the S1-A600 is essentially an Android tablet, the OS is not stock but a customized version from the company. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, HDMI, USB, Bluetooth etc.

The device is currently available to pre-order at JD.com for an official price of 1799 Yuan which comes to around $290.  However, for the first 100 buyers, the price will be only 1699 Yuan ($275).

New leak reveals AnTuTu Benchmark results of the upcoming Xiaomi flagship

68798b4cjw1eo7rpxx90aj20d60hst9v

Since the past one week, not a day goes by without a leak about the upcoming flagship from Xiaomi. Some say it is the Xiaomi Mi4S that’s going to be announced, while others claim its the Redmi Note 2! We think the company may announce both the device at the January 15 event.

68798b4cjw1eo7rpwazbvj20d60hsmyk

Today, we have some leaked images of the upcoming flagship with some new specifications. This makes things a lot more confusing but here’s what we’ve got. The leaked images and specifications say this is the new Xiaomi Mi4S. It looks a lot like the images which were leaked earlier, only a little smaller which hints a 5.2-inch display rather than a 5.7-inch screen. Like earlier images, the placement of the sensors and the front camera have been changed and the bezels are a bit thinner, but other than that, the Mi4S seems to have a similar design as the Mi4. Also, the three traditional capacitive keys are seen below the screen on this device.

68798b4cjw1eo7rpws494j20d60hsq4d

As for the tech specs, the phone is reportedly running on a Snapdragon 801 processor, the same one that’s currently inside the Xiaomi Mi4 clocked at 2.5GHz.  The overall body frame is said to be made of aluminum alloy and is much thinner than the existing flagship. In the AnTuTu benchmark test results, the phone secured a score of over 46866 points, which is almost 4000 points higher than the average score of Mi4 (42000). This ranks it higher than other powerful flagships like the OnePlus One, Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Alpha. Only the Nexus 6 and Meizu MX4 are have scored above 46000 points.

The company will finally unravel the mystery behind its new flagship on January 15, which is just two days away.

In the meantime, check out the above images of the upcoming Xiaomi flagship and tell us what you think. Connect with us via our Facebook and Twitter pages for more updates.

Gionee W900

2014 was quite a year for Chinese cell phone manufacturer, Gionee. One of the phones it released that year was the Gionee F301 which is the first cell phone to use MediaTek’s MTK6732 processor, one of the CPU manufacturing company’s new 64-bit processors. Gionee also released one of the slimmest cell phones of the year, the Gionee Elife S5.1. The phone’s dimensions are 139.8 X 67.4 X 5.15 mm. How does Gionee plan to follow up these releases? Well, it is already 2015 and the company is already showcasing its new products.

At the most recent China Mobile Global Partner Conference, Gionee unveiled its newest cell phone, the Gionee W900. This phone is most notable for having two 4-inch 1080p display screens. Now, it is finally on sale, however, its display screen does not have FHD resolution but only WVGA resolution.

According to official reports, the Gionee W900 uses a dual 4-inch display panel with an 800 x 480 resolution. It is also a 5-inch capacitive touch screen. Furthermore, this phone uses MediaTek’s MTK6732 quad-core processor. Among other things, it has support for dual-SIM cards. As for memory, it has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It also sports a 5mp front-facing camera and a 13mp rear-facing camera. It is also powered by a 2050 mAh battery and runs the Android 4.4 operating system.

The leaked back cover of the upcoming Meizu M1 Note Mini is almost the same as the ones leaked last month. While the design is a lot similar to the M1 Note, the back cover on the new phone is reportedly made from different materials. There is a camera sensor on top with the single LED flash below it and the Meizu logo lies at the bottom.

As for the tech specs, the phone is said to come with a 5-inch 1080p display with MT6753 instead of MT6752 as earlier predicted. It will support CDMA20001X, EVDO Rev A, and FDD LTE/ TDD LTE networks. There will be 2GB RAM onboard and a 13MP + 5MP camera on the back and the front.

The company had teased a photo a few days back about the upcoming device. There were three different circles with another one in the middle. We thought that it meant three different launches in the Blue Charm brand on Jan 27. But looks like it means the upcoming phone will support the three main carriers in China namely the China Unicom, China Telecom and the China Mobile.

It is also said that a CDMA version of the Meizu M1 Note will be announced at the press event.

We are just two weeks away from the launch and we are sure that more leaks and pictures on the upcoming 5-inch Meizu M1 Note Mini will follow.

QQ图片20150113095057

We had seen ZTE’s new phone ZTE Q7 gets listed on TENAA at the start of December, and at that time, we had no idea when this “iPhone 6 clone” was going to be released in the market. But today I saw this ZTE Blade S6 Gets Listed On Online stores, and it looked similar to the ZTE Q7 on TENAA. And the title said “ZTE Blade S6 5.0 inch Android 5.0 4G Smartphone”, could it have a 5 inch display, LTE connectivity and Android 5.0? This is totally different than the specifications of ZTE Q7 on TENAA. So, it could be a new phone from ZTE for International market.

And from the site we can see this ZTE Blade S6 can be pre-ordered from January 29. If that Online store becomes ZTE’s official distributor this time, how can they make people to pre-order it before ZTE released the product? So this  ZTE Q7 will be released  before January 29?

And also We got 2 hands on pictures from the same account that leaked the renders for Mi5.

The phone seemed to have a 5 inch  2D glass screen  and the metal body design makes it like a topper of midrange phones. It could be a killer to many mid-range phones if it really has Android 5.0.

That being said, this handset looks almost identical to the ZTE Q7. It looks so similar, that it could be the International edition of the ZTE Q7. I don’t know what to think of this to be honest, these specs look rather solid and considering if this is supposed to be really affordable, I believe it would sell well. So how much will this iPhone 6 look alike Android 5.0 device will be priced for International market? Let us know what you think.

OPPO R1C may be launched on Jan 14

OPPO R1C

It is 2015 and we can expect many cell phone companies around the world to start making their first releases of the year. For example, there is Xiaomi which will launch the follow-up to its Red Mi cell phone, the Xiaomi Red Mi  note2, on January 15.

It also looks like OPPO will be busy the day before Xiaomi’s big day. Today, the company released a new poster on its official Weibo account, once again, confirming that it will release its first smart phone of the year on January 14. This will most likely be the OPPO R8207, otherwise known as the OPPO R1C 4G smart phone.

In addition, new photos of OPPO’s upcoming smart phone have been leaked on the internet. The biggest feature of the OPPO R1C appears to be that its back will sport a sapphire glass panel, which looks nicer than the OPPO R5’s glass panel. In addition, reports say that the OPPO R1C specifications will not be that different from many other phones that are out right now. It will sport a 5-inch 720p display screen. It will also run using the 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. As for memory, it has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM which can be increased to 128GB with a memory card. It also sports a 5mp front-facing camera and 13mp rear-facing camera.

2014 was quite a year for OPPO. Their big hit of the year was the OPPO N3. This powerful 4G smart phone is most notable for sporting a motorized rotating camera. The OPPO N3 was released last year alongside the OPPO R5 which is considered to be one of the thinnest cell phones there is to date. It has a thickness of only 4.85mm.

Having released such big hits last year, can OPPO’s 2015 releases live up to their predecessors?
