Microsoft has added two new Fallout-themed models to its controller lineup: the Xbox Wireless Controller Fallout Pip-Boy and the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Fallout Pip-Boy. Both are built around the look and feel of the Pip-Boy device from the Fallout games, shifting the focus from earlier Vault Boy themed designs to something closer to what players use in the wasteland.

The controllers use the same warm green color seen on the Pip-Boy screen, along with Fallout style HUD icons. The Xbox Wireless Controller Fallout Pip-Boy features a green metallic D-Pad and a custom Fallout top case designed to highlight the series’ familiar look and details. It is available for preorder for a limited time through the Microsoft Store.

Players who want to design their own version can use Xbox Design Lab. Both the standard controller and the Elite Series 2 model can be customized with different colors, including options based on Fallout groups like the Brotherhood of Steel, NCR, Minutemen and the Tunnel Snakes. At gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Microsoft announced that the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X handheld consoles will launch on October 16, 2025. What remains missing is the US pricing, which has delayed the start of pre-orders. In an interview with IGN, Microsoft and Asus confirmed that tariffs in the US have forced them to postpone the announcement of prices and, as a result, pre-orders. Both companies said pricing details and pre-order availability will be revealed in September or October.

European pricing has been consistent: €599 for the Xbox Ally and €899 for the Ally X. The situation in the US has been far less stable. On August 20, Best Buy listed the Ally at $549.99 and the Ally X at $899.99, but later replaced those figures with placeholder values of $9999.99. The price of the Ally has already shifted multiple times, starting at $499.99, then rising to $599.99, before appearing to settle at $549.99 just days before August 20. With the PlayStation 5 also seeing price increases in the US, the final figures for the Ally and Ally X remain uncertain.

Pre-orders were originally scheduled to open on August 20 but were postponed. Following recent investigations, a new target date of September 25, 2025, has been identified. This remains tentative, as the schedule has been adjusted several times in recent weeks.

Alongside the consoles, Asus is also preparing a new accessory. The ROG Raikiri II Pro Controller has been confirmed for release in North America. It will retail at $189.99, which is $20 more than the original ROG Raikiri Pro at launch. Technical specifications and feature upgrades for this controller have not yet been disclosed.

Under the hood, the base Xbox ROG Ally is equipped with the AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, which is based on the RDNA 2 technology. While the new ROG Xbox Ally series still runs on Windows, these basically offer an Xbox full screen experience. In other words, it functions and feels more like a handheld Xbox console.

But that’s not all, the new modifications to the software allow the system to minimize background activity and end all non-essential tasks. This makes the system more power efficient and enables it to divert more power to the games. According to a Microsoft executive, simply turning off the desktop wallpaper, taskbar, and a few other Windows processes helped free up 2GB of RAM.

Microsoft is apparently planning a refreshing makeover for its Xbox Series X. The company might be working on a new variant of the popular gaming console, which might ditch its original black hue in favor of a fresh all-white design. So here’s everything you need to know.

Xbox Series X Going Full White?

Low quality images of the white Xbox Series X was shared by eXputer. The report states that an all-white all-digital Xbox Series X console. In terms of overall design, the white Xbox Series X appears similar to the black variant. However, it is just a different color and without a disc drive. Apart from these two changes, the internals are expected to be almost identical in terms of specs, but this variant may ship with an upgraded heatsink for better thermals. During the Microsoft vs FTC court hearing, leaked documents had also hinted at an Xbox with a new color and with the disc drive removed.

Microsoft’s all-digital white Xbox Series X will most likely be cheaper than the regular Xbox Series X model since it saves production costs by removing the disc drive. In other words, it is similar to Sony’s PlayStation 5, which arrives in Digital and Disc editions. As of right now, the Xbox Series X is available for 500 US Dollars in the US. The Xbox Series S and Xbox Series S 1TB Edition are sold for 300 and 350 US Dollars respectively, so we can expect the digital Xbox Series X to possibly be priced around the 450 US Dollar mark.

The Xbox Game Pass lineup for the second half of February is expanding with a mix of new titles, DLCs, and perks, offering its subscribers a wide range of gaming experiences. This update includes games across various genres, from narrative adventures to action RPGs and sports simulations, ensuring there’s something for every type of gamer.

Starting immediately, subscribers can explore “Return to Grace,” a game that blends archaeology with sci-fi in a 1960s-inspired universe, focusing on discovering an ancient AI deity. Also available is “Tales of Arise,” a game that merges two contrasting worlds into a story of unity and battle, known for its real-time combat system.

On February 22, “Bluey: The Videogame” will be released, allowing families to engage with Bluey and her adventures through a series of interactive stories and games. “Maneater,” an action RPG where players take on the role of a shark, returns to the Game Pass on February 27, along with “Madden NFL 24” for EA Play Ultimate members, who will also receive an Ultimate Team Supercharge Pack until March 8.

“Indivisible” returns to the Game Pass on February 28, offering a mix of exploration and combat in a beautifully crafted fantasy world. “Space Engineers,” coming February 29, provides an open-world sandbox experience focused on engineering, construction, and survival in space. “Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun,” launching on March 5, brings a retro shooter experience set in the Warhammer universe.

The update also highlights the “Dune” expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator, allowing players to experience the world of “Dune” through flight. “Diablo IV” is set to join the Game Pass on March 28, promising a next-gen action RPG experience with endless dungeons and loot.

Game Pass subscribers can enjoy new perks, including a 3-month trial of Calm Premium and exclusive content packs for “Apex Legends,” “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,” “Puzzle Quest 3,” and “PUBG: Battlegrounds.”

The service will see the departure of “Madden NFL 22” and “Soul Hackers 2” on February 29, encouraging players to enjoy these titles before they’re removed. February 5: Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan This game is a tribute to 8-bit action-adventure games. Players control Sydney Hunter, who finds himself trapped in a Maya pyramid and must reassemble the sacred Haab calendar.

Xbox Store reportedly gains UPI payment mode

Xbox Store only supports VISA and Mastercard. Another way is adding funds to their Microsoft balance to purchase a digital game. The lack of more payment options coupled with declined transactions or cancellation due to card issues made it cumbersome for gamers to go for digital versions. However, this is likely expected to end anytime soon if the latest development is anything to go by. 

A user on X shared an image that reveals Microsoft has enabled the UPI payment option in India. It seems that the rollout is happening in a phased manner for a limited number of users. We can expect it to be available for all Xbox gamers in the country. Notably, Microsoft is also yet to officially announce the support for UPI payment mode on the Xbox Store. 

The introduction of UPI payment on Xbox Store is a welcome move. There is a large chunk of customer base who prefer UPI as a mode of payment in India. It is also convenient and hassle-free compared to traditional card transactions. Microsoft’s move is expected to pave the way for Xbox’s archrivals PlayStation and Steam to roll out similar support for UPI payment option in the country.

The Xbox is set to get a new game release later this week. The upcoming title is Anno: Mutationem, which is an action RPG (role-playing game) with a cyberpunk inspired theme. It is being developed by Thinking Stars with Lightning Games being its publisher.

Anno: Mutationem Launch

Based on official notes, the Anno: Mutationem will be launched for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Windows 10 on 22nd September 2023. The game is already available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and on PC (Via Steam). Anno: Mutationem is being developed by a small group of indie developers from China. The cyberpunk action game features pixel art style graphics and offers side scrolling and third person gameplay.

In the title, gamers will interact with various other characters in a futuristic city to solve puzzles as you uncover more of the plot. Notably, the game was updated last year, bringing a new ending and New Game+ that lets players weapons, inherit chips, money, and other essential in-game items. To make the game more challenging for players a new “Hell” level mode along with an Easy Mode for beginners. The title has you play as Ann, who is a highly skilled combat trained lone wolf. The protagonist is on a personal mission in the giant Metropolis, which is full of massive corporations and dangerous creatures.

Although Sony is currently leading the race with its PlayStation 5, Microsoft is hot on its heels, working to close the gap with its Xbox Series S and Series X. Wondering what those efforts entail? You’re in the right place, because the FTC’s Microsoft case has revealed a new disc-less Xbox Series X design along with a new gyro controller. Here are the details….

Xbox Series X and Controller Getting a Redesign in 2024, According to Leaked Documents

FTC documents have revealed a lot of new details about Microsoft and Xbox. For example, we had previously reported on how the Microsoft responded to the PlayStation 5 announcement and the price increase that occurred last year. Now, there’s an even more significant development. The documents disclosed plans for a cylinder-shaped ‘all-digital’ 2TB Xbox Series X codenamed “Lockhart, as well as a new controller with modular thumbsticks in 2024.

Ironically, the new Xbox will no longer be a box. Starting from 2024, it will be shaped like a black cylinder. However, the most notable feature of this console isn’t its shape. Microsoft is saying goodbye to the Blu-ray disc drive with this product. In today’s world where games have mostly gone digital, this seems pretty normal and acceptable. However, it also eliminates some advantages.

For example, if you’ve been an Xbox user for the past few generations and own physical game discs, you can currently play them on the Series X. Unfortunately, the cylindrical design will take that capability away from you. Of course, if you’re like many of us and prefer streaming content rather than using Blu-ray discs, and you don’t own physical game discs, this could even be a cost-effective choice for you. This is because Blu-ray discs are still quite expensive.

Using this technology costs console manufacturers between $50 to $100. For example, Sony sells the disc version of the PlayStation 5 for $500, while the disc-less version is priced at $400. In other words, the new Xbox Series X could be priced $50 to $100 cheaper than the current model. Still documents suggest that Microsoft is targeting the same $499 launch price of the Xbox Series X.The console will also feature a new, more efficient and quieter cooling system.

Of course, the cooling system isn’t the only thing that’s changing. The device will also support Wi-Fi 6E and include a Bluetooth 5.2 radio. Additionally, the company is reducing the size of the existing die to 6nm to improve efficiency. According to Microsoft’s document, the PSU will also see a 15 percent reduction in power usage.

The new controller, which has the codename “Sebille,” will include Bluetooth 5.2 and an updated “Xbox Wireless 2” connection. Microsoft has also mentioned that the controller will offer “precision haptic feedback” and that its “VCA haptics will double as speakers.” Additionally, the controller will have quieter buttons and thumbsticks, a rechargeable and swappable battery, modular thumbsticks, and a “lift to wake” feature.

Both the new Xbox Series X and its accompanying controller are expected to launch in early 2024. However, Microsoft has not yet officially announced the new products, but the leaked documents from the FTC case suggest that they are real and that they are coming soon.

The Xbox Mastercard credit card is an attempt by Microsoft to provide the community with a better value for their money. With this credit card, players can earn points whenever they make purchases. These card points can later be used to redeem games and add-ons at xbox.com. It is worth mentioning that the Xbox Mastercard will be available exclusively to Xbox insiders in the United States on September 21. We can expect that the company plans to extend these benefits to a broader audience in 2024.

With the Xbox Mastercard, players can earn card points for every $1 spent on purchasing, including Streaming services ( like Netflix and Disney+) and Dining Delivery services (Like Grubhub and DoorDash). The cardmembers will receive more benefits on their first purchase, which are provided below.

For those unaware, Discord is a popular voice chat platform with features like streaming your game within the voice channel. Before this update, streaming on Discord was only possible on the PC platform, but Xbox users can now also enjoy the streaming services on the console. An overview of new features in this update is provided below:

Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) update for Xbox Series X/S consoles

Variable Refresh Rate allows users to adjust the refresh rate of the TV or monitor according to the frame rate of the content. This new feature provides a smooth and precise gaming experience. Some users may not want this VRR enabled. They can turn this setting off by going to General > TV & display options > Video and selecting the dropdown menu to “Off.”

Streaming Games on Discord

As mentioned above, it is now possible to stream your gameplay on Xbox. To get started, users first need to link their Discord account. From there, users must join a voice channel on the Xbox console and select “Stream your game” to start streaming.

Redeem Rewards

Xbox users will now find it easier to redeem their rewards with the new Rewards tab. Users can select Profile & System by pressing the Xbox button and choose My Rewards. Alternatively, players can redeem rewards directly from this option.

Ask to join the game session

Ask to join is an option now available in Xbox where the users can ask their friends to join their game session. Your friends will receive the notification of your request to join, and they can respond to it by game invite, party invite, or a message.

Microsoft is set to launch its new Xbox Series S 1TB Matte Black Limited Edition, an exciting upgrade from its earlier model. This special edition will go on sale tonight, August 31st at 12:00 AM, and is priced at 2599 yuan ($356). The device was also launched in India back in June for Rs 38,990.

Xbox Series S key features:

A significant difference in this edition, apart from its sleek matte black finish, is the increased storage. While the original Xbox Series S had 512GB of storage, this limited edition boasts a substantial 1TB. The core specifications, however, remain consistent with its predecessor.

The entry of Xbox’s next-generation consoles in China was initially marked on May 14, 2021. At the time, the Xbox Series S was introduced at a price point of 2399 yuan ($329). The more powerful counterpart, Xbox Series X, had a price tag of 3899 yuan ($535).

As for the tech specifics of the Xbox Series S, it’s equipped with an advanced 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU and custom RDNA 2 GPU that ensures optimum gaming performance.

The Xbox Series S features a 3.6GHz CPU (compared to Series X’s 3.8GHz) and a GPU with 20 compute units at 1.563GHz, delivering 4 TFLOPS. It includes 10GB of GDDR6 RAM at 224GB/s, with 8GB allocated for games. It has a 128-bit RAM/VRAM setup and an HDMI 2.1 interface. In comparison, the Series X offers 16GB @ 560GB/s with 13.5GB available for games.

Xbox Series S can handle gaming resolutions up to 1440P at 120FPS. It also offers various features such as variable rate shading, hardware-accelerated ray tracing, ultra-low latency, Quick Resume, and Smart Delivery. Despite these impressive features, the design remains compact, measuring just 6.5cm x 15.1cm x 27.5cm.

Microsoft to take gaming to the next level with AI

The American tech giant recently posted a job listing that wanted a new hire for its “Xbox Gaming AI team”. The company is looking to hire a Principal Software Engineer who has experience in both gaming and AI. In other words, it is basically looking for someone who can help it explore the potential of AI in the gaming industry.

According to the job description, Microsoft is searching to hire a game developer who can also help create the future of “Game AI”. The person would even be required to integrate deep learning and foundation models into next-gen titles to bring an enhanced in-game experience to gamers. This person would also work with the Xbox Emerging Technologies team, which is a unit dedicated to looking into emerging technologies that can help disrupt the gaming landscape.

Microsoft is even aiming on implementing AI/ML techniques like Large Language Model prompt engineering and model runtime implementation into gaming. In other words, gaming might soon see a massive upgrade in terms of interactions with in-game NPCs. This isn’t just limited to character interaction, the game’s engine might also be more reactive to player progression and much more. The sky is the limit with this, but as of right now, we are still on the drawing board.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a popular video game from Square Enix. Fans of the Final Fantasy series loved it when it came out in 2020. The game sold really well on PlayStation 4 and got a good score of 8/10 from IGN. Fans of Xbox were hopeful because of a recent post by Xbox Brazil, but it seems the game won’t be coming to Xbox after all.

The Twitter post, which was deleted soon after, showed an image with the message, “um feliz dia dos pais para todas as familias!” wishing all their followers a happy Father’s Day. Where Barret Wallace, a Final Fantasy VII character, can be seen along with other father figure characters. This made the Xbox console owners think that they would be able to play Final Fantasy VII in the near future. For those unaware, this game was released exclusively on PlayStation temporarily and, later, on PC but not on Xbox. After realizing their error, XboxBR deleted the post. A Microsoft spokesperson made a statement to Eurogamer saying the image was posted in error and removed as it included a title not available on Xbox.

However, as the game is currently available on two platforms, PlayStation and PC, this would be a perfect time to introduce the Final Fantasy VII remake on Xbox. We will have to wait for Square Enix to make an official announcement.

Next-gen Xbox may offer a disc-less model like the Sony PS5

The American tech giant is looking to make a notable design change in an upcoming Xbox console. During a podcast interview, Shpeshal Nick stated that sources close to the matter have revealed that Microsoft will soon launch an Xbox Series X Digital edition that doesn’t house a disc drive. This would make it similar to the PlayStation 5 Digital edition.

The Xbox Series X without a disc drive would mean that it would be cheaper than a regular Series X console. Nick said that the brand is working on this model since a “lot of people have wanted for a while”. Apart from this, he added that Microsoft also has plans for other hardware in 2025. Unfortunately, he did not divulge any finer details regarding these upcoming products.

As of right now, Sony is rumored to be working on a PS5 Pro/PS6 refresh while Nintendo is believed to be planning a Switch 2 model. Xbox users rejoice as streaming your game on Discord is finally possible. The popular voice chat platform has announced that it will soon support game streaming on Microsoft’s popular gaming consoles.

Why is this a big deal?

At the moment, Discord on Xbox only enables voice chats and the screen-sharing feature that is enjoyed on PCs was not available. This feature has been highly requested by Discord users on consoles. Since the features first dropped, it allowed users to share their screens and games on Discord servers with friends. And now, the streaming feature is finally making its way to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One.

How to stream Xbox Games on Discord

As per the official blog, the Xbox users will first need to link their Xbox and Discord accounts via Discord on a smartphone or desktop. Head to ‘Settings’ and then ‘Connections, where you’ll find the option to connect the Xbox and Discord accounts. Following this process, return to Discord on Xbox and look for the option to “Stream your game” when sitting in a Discord Server or DM.

Notably, the Nitro members of Discord can also avail special benefits on the console as well. This includes 60fps streaming on 1080p resolution. Meanwhile, free members only get access to 720p resolution at 30fps. Keep in mind that streaming also takes resources, which can either impact gaming performance depending on the title you’re playing. In these situations, the resolution of the stream and its frame rate will likely drop. A good and stable internet connection is also required to get the full benefits.

One of the major reveals was related to the new higher storage variant of the Xbox Series S. Now, an official company listing has revealed that the 1TB Xbox Series S will launch in India on September 1, which is in line with its global release.

Furthermore, the Xbox Series S 1TB model will be available for a price tag of 38,990 INR. Although, the pricing in the region may vary based on the retailer you buy it from. Meanwhile, the existing 512GB option is being sold for 34,990 INR. Apart from the higher storage capacity, the new Xbox Series S model will still retain the same overall specifications.

However, there are also rumors going around that the company will be raising the price of its Xbox series consoles in the region. The Xbox Game Pass saw a price hike recently as well, and the brand is shifting its focus to the cloud gaming market as well. These pricing might be updated in the region some time in August 2023.

Technology giant Microsoft has announced that the company will be increasing the pricing of its latest gaming console Xbox Series X as well as its gaming subscription service Xbox Game Pass.

The Xbox Series X will increase its pricing by $50, from $499 to $549, but the Xbox Series S pricing remains the same in all markets. The company has recently introduced a new black model of Xbox Series S with 1TB storage for $349.

Along with the increase in pricing for the new generation of gaming consoles from Microsoft, the Redmond-based tech company is also increasing the price of the Xbox Game Pass from $10 per month to $12 per month for the standard plan while the price of the Ultimate plan will rise from $15 per month to $18 per month.

Commenting about this, the company has said that the price increase is a necessary step to continue investment in the “best gaming experiences.” Further, it adds that the company would be offering several ways for customers to save money on Xbox Game Pass, including a yearly subscription option and a family plan.

The price change will go into effect from 6th July for new customers, but those who are already monthly subscribers won’t be impacted by the change until 13th August. Those who are on the yearly subscription of Xbox Game Pass will continue to use the service without any impact until they renew the subscription.

This development isn’t surprising given that the company was expected to increase pricing for the Xbox lineup as Sony did the same with its PlayStation 5 last year.

On the other hand, the brand is pushing its cloud gaming platform further with the Xbox Cloud Gaming service. This enables it to offer hefty titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator to Xbox One owners. Booty added that “That’s how we’re going to maintain support”.

Microsoft has announced a special edition controller and headset for Xbox. The Redmondo-based brand has introduced Starfield-branded accessories in a long line of special edition controllers for the Xbox Series X and S consoles. The design of these accessories is based on the upcoming Starfield game for Xbox and PC that releases on September 6. Read on to know more below. 

Starfield-branded Xbox controller and headset announced

The Starfield limited edition Xbox controller has a retrofuturistic design. The controller has accents of Grey and Gold to match the branding of the game. The handgrips are textured and the analog triggers are translucent. The Xbox Wireless Headset was previously only available in Black color. The Starfield limited edition headset has Grey color earcups whereas the headband is in Red and White. The headset mic has a transparent design. 

Both the Starfield-inspired limited edition controller and headset are loaded with little details from the game. “The crisp, clean designs are inspired by real-world spacecraft, and are custom built to transport you right into the cockpit of true space explorer” Microsoft said in a blog. 

Alongside the controller and headset, Bethesda has also announced a Starfield-branded watch that is a part of the Collector’s Edition line. It is also available in the game. The physical watch connects to the user’s phone to display notifications and other information. It comes in a case that matches the cases of the astronauts in the game.

The Starfield limited edition Xbox controller and wireless headset are priced at $79.99 and $124.99 respectively.Both accessories are available for purchase from Microsoft.

At the Xbox Games Showcase event, Microsoft has announced a new model of the Xbox Series S, which comes packed with 1TB of internal storage and has a black-colored body.

Nothing has changed from the original white Xbox Series S model apart from the paint job and the internal storage. This new model, priced at $349, is now up for pre-order and will start shipping from September 1st.

To remind you, the Xbox Series S was originally announced with 512GB of internal storage for the price of $299, and this is the first time the company has expanded the internal storage for this model.

In a blog post, Xbox Senior Marketing Manager Bree Adams said, “Whether you’re looking to upgrade from your current console or are new to Xbox, the Xbox Series S — 1TB offers you another option within the Xbox family of devices. The carbon black color is the same sleek, modern matte finish as the Xbox Series X and Xbox Wireless Controller. This console features the same next-gen speed and performance of our 512GB Series S, now with double the storage so you can download even more of your favorite games to your console where they’ll be ready to play when you are.”

This new model comes days after Western Digital announced 512GB and 1TB Xbox storage expansion cards for the owners of the Xbox Series S, so that they can add more storage to the device without any hassle.

Microsoft’s Head of Xbox Phil Spencer said that the company recognizes that for some people around the planet, $500 is too much for a console and that the price point for the Series S could bring more people into the console ecosystem.

Microsoft’s Xbox gaming consoles support expandable storage and right now, if you are in the market for expandable storage, then the only option available is from Seagate.

But that is about to change soon as Microsoft appears to be ready to offer expandable storage options for the Xbox lineup from other manufacturers or at least one other company — Western Digital.

A new 1TB expansion card for the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, manufactured by Western Digital, has been spotted on the website of online retailer Best Buy, carrying a price tag of $179.99.

The company hasn’t officially announced the product yet, meaning that it is not yet available for purchase. Soon after the reports started surfacing online about the listing on Best Buy, the online retailer took the listing offline.

Microsoft first launched the Xbox expandable storage cards about three years ago in multiple storage capacities, ranging from 512GB to 2TB, exclusively from Seagate. The pricing for the product didn’t go down even after these many years, while pricing for similar products for Sony PS5 dropped significantly.

With the new options coming from Western Digital, there will finally be an expandable storage card for the Xbox Series X/S that is not manufactured by Seagate, and that too at a lower cost than what they are currently selling for. Given that it was listed on Best Buy with a price tag, we expect them to get launched soon, within a few days, if not weeks.

The custom console was announced by the Xbox account on Twitter along with details of how to partake in the sweepstakes. The tweet includes a photo of the custom console which has a fuchsia and black paint job along with a matching Xbox Wireless Controller. Alongside the custom controller and console, the grand prize also includes a copy of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Deluxe Edition for Xbox Series X. Both gifts have a combined value of $578.99.

This year is the 20th anniversary of Xbox, and the Microsoft-owned gaming division has been celebrating it in various ways. Back in May, it announced new official merch on its Xbox Gear Shop to celebrate the event. It also announced a custom Xbox Series X console in celebration of Halo’s 20th anniversary. Today, it has unveiled a pair of Xbox sneakers made in partnership with Adidas.

The new Originals by Xbox Sneaker called the Xbox 20th Forum Tech has a design inspired by the special edition Xbox console launched alongside Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001. The footwear has a translucent green sole while the upper part is a mix of green and black. While you can tell this is indeed made by Adidas, there is an Xbox logo on the tongue.

The press release says that the partnership kicks off the global launch of the “Always Played In. Never Played Out” program which celebrates popular eras of play over the last twenty years.

Will you be able to purchase the Xbox 20th Forum Tech? It doesn’t appear so. Xbox says this is the beginning of its partnership with Adidas as they will be announcing additional sneakers inspired by past and present Xbox consoles in the coming month in celebration of Xbox’s 20th anniversary. One of these new sneakers will be the first-ever sneaker available for purchase by fans later this year. It will also be running a competition where winners get to own a pair of the limited-edition sneakers.

Microsoft has always shown that it is in a different league when it comes to making custom editions of its consoles. It has proved that multiple times with the several limited-edition Xbox One consoles it released. One of my personal favorites is the Xbox One X Shadow of the Tomb Raider Edition. Now, it has shown that it still has the chops with the launch of the Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Limited Edition.

The limited-edition console was announced today alongside the Halo Infinite Limited Edition Elite Series 2 controller to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the game. Both the console and the controller will be available on November 15 for $549.99 and $199.99 respectively.

The body of the Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Limited Edition is wrapped in a mix of black, gray, and gold. The stars on the console, which grace the upper part, are inspired by the surface of Zeta Halo, a location in the game, while the blue color of the vent is inspired by Cortana. The included Xbox Wireless Controller also has a similar color scheme.

For the Halo Infinite Limited Edition Elite Series 2 controller, you get a mix of green and black, the former which is the same shade as Master Chief’s armor.

Both the Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Limited Edition and the Halo Infinite Limited Edition Elite Series 2 controller are available for pre-order on Microsoft’s site today ahead of their release on November 15.
