Acer Chromebook Tab 10 Is Official: World’s First Chrome OS Tablet

A few months ago, a Twitter user shared a photo of an Acer tablet running Google’s Chrome OS. That tablet has launched today as the Acer Chromebook Tab 10. And it comes in blue!!!

Design

The Acer Chromebook Tab 10 (this is a long name, ChromeTab 10 is better) doesn’t stray from the usual design of older tablets. There are bezels (black) on all sides which are pretty useful when it comes to holding a device this large. The top bezel is home to a front camera and the lower bezel has Acer’s logo.

The rear of the tablet is covered in Blue Cobalt paint with a hatching pattern. The sides are smooth and have a matte finish. There is a camera at the top right corner and a Chrome logo at the bottom. Buttons are on the left hand side and between the power button and volume rocker is a LED light.

Acer Chromebook Tab 10 Specs

The Chromebook Tab 10 has a 9.7” 2048 x 1536 LCD display. It is powered by a hexa-core processor called the OP1. You may be wondering what processor is called the OP1.

OP is actually a Google owned trademark for chipsets that are optimized for ChromeOS. The OP1 is an ARM chip made by Rockchip and it also powers the Samsung Chromebook Plus and the ASUS Chromebook Flip C101.

The OP1 has dual Cortex-A72 cores and quad Cortex-A53 cores. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage in the Chromebook Tab 10.

There is a 2MP front camera for video calls and a 5MP camera on the back for pictures and video recording. The tablet also comes with a Wacom EMR Pen for taking down notes and drawing. The stylus doesn’t use a battery neither does it need to be charged. It can be safely stored in a slot at the bottom of the device.

Acer doesn’t state the battery capacity but says it can last up to 10 hours on a single charge. It recharges via a USB-C 3.1 port which also has DisplayPort support in case you want to hook it up to an external display.

The Chromebook Tab 10 comes with Play Store support out of the box. Acer says it will also receive support for Google Expeditions AR in future.

It weighs 550g and measures 172.2 x 238.2 x 9.98 mm.

Nokia 1 Android Oreo (Go Edition) Smartphone Launched In India For Rs. 5,499 ($85)

Last month, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, HMD Global announced its first Android Go edition smartphone — Nokia 1. Now, the company has launched the Nokia 1 in the Indian market, making it the second Android Go phone available in the country after Lava Z50.

The phone comes with a 4.5-inch IPS display that offers a screen resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by a low-level quad-core processor from MediaTek which is clocked at 1.1GHz. However, at this time, we don’t know which specific chipset is used.

The device comes with just 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. However, there’s a microSD card slot which enables users to further expand the storage capacity of the device. Further, the phone features a 5-megapixel camera sensor at the back and a 2-megapixel camera sensor on the front, primarily for video calling.

Being a part of Android Go program, the phone runs Android Oreo (Go Edition) and comes with access to several Android Go-specific applications. Google has launched Go-specific version of some of its apps, including Gmail, Maps, Chrome, Assistant, and the Play Store

Google had announced the Android Go initiative with an aim to bring a tailored distribution of the latest Android version to low-end devices. The search engine giant has begun this program to release Android Go phones in emerging markets.

In India, the Nokia 1 smartphone comes in two color options — Warm Red and Dark Blue. Priced at Rs. 5,499 (approximately $85), the phone will be available for purchase from 28th March across the nation. The company has also launched Xpress On covers which will be available in Azure and Grey or Yellow and Pink color for Rs. 450, which roughly converts to $7.

Additionally, Reliance Jio is offering cashback worth Rs. 2,200, bringing down the effective price of Nokia 1 to Rs. 3,299 (approx. $51). Further, the users will also be eligible for a 12-month Accidental Damage Insurance by Servify on opening the Kotak 811 savings account.

Huawei Honor 7A Renders Reveal Its Design Ahead Of The Launch

Huawei has officially confirmed that the Honor 7A will be officially showcased on April 2 through an official teaser published online. At the same time, new renders have surfaced on Slashleaks: they reveal the complete design of the new device, so we won’t have to wait until April 2 to know it perfectly. Huawei Honor 7A has a similar design to Honor 8 Pro with a full metal body, but, unlike its older brother, it sports an 18:9 display with narrower bezels on the upper and lower part of the front panel.

On the other hand, bezels at the sides do not seem to be so narrow. Above the display, we can clearly see a dual front camera equipped with a front-facing LED flash. On the rear side, there is a single camera with a LED flash. There is no fingerprint reader on this device, and that is why it will be a very affordable handset. According to reports, Honor 7A measures 152.4 x 73 x 7.8 mm and it boasts a 5.7-inch display with an HD resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels.

On the hardware side, it should have an octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset by Qualcomm, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The front camera should have resolutions of 13 and 2 MP, while the rear camera will likely be a single sensor with a 13 MP resolution. At last, the battery should come with a capacity of 3000 mAh. According to the official teaser, the smartphone will sport stereo speakers and it will also support facial recognition for authentication. Given that there is a face with glasses in the photo, there is a chance that AR may play an important role among the features of the Honor 7A.

Moto E5 Play Appears On The Official Site: Will Support Moto Actions

Moto E5 is the upcoming series of budget phones which will be released by Motorola this year and, according to the official website, it will also include a Play variant. In case you don’t know, Play variants of Motorola budget handsets are even cheaper devices than the standard version. This year it will be the first time that the E-series will get a Play version.

The name Moto E5 Play has just appeared on the official website of the company, confirming its existence. From what the website is showing, even though it will be a very affordable device, it will support Moto Actions, a feature which should add new software-based gestures on Motorola devices. Unfortunately, there is no image or specs sheet of this device on the official website. It is just mentioned on a page related to Moto Actions.

So, we still have to rely on the info published by the famous leakster Evan Blass in order to know something about this device. According to Evan, Moto E5 Play will have a classic 16:9 display, unlike its costlier brothers E5 and E5 Plus. On the other hand, it should be equipped with a front-facing LED flash which will allow shooting selfies in the dark.

A few days ago, it was reported that the HTC U12+ will be the only flagship from HTC this year. It was also revealed that a mid-range version called the HTC U12 Life will also be launched.

Full specification details of the U12+ have already been leaked online but there has been no info on the U12 Life until today. Popular leaker @evleaks has revealed a key detail about the phone. While this is not a major spec info, it is still very important as it can influence your decision to purchase the U12 Life.

The beneficiaries of the current growth in the smartphone industry are not only the OEMs but also the components suppliers. Samsung not only benefits from sales of smartphones but also from its DRAM and OLED business. While Samsung still commands a considerable level of advantage on its OLED sector but the tech giant’s lead in the semiconductor market continues to dwindle. That is because there is a domestic push to reduce imports and establish Chinese footing in this lucrative sector by funding the creation of domestic memory producers.

China utilizes a fifth of the global DRAM supply and Samsung is the major supplier. The company isn’t oblivious to moves to clip its dominance of the sector. The company is using its deep pockets to crush memory chip rivals by ramping up its investments in this division over the past few years. Thus, the South Korean giant has stated that it does not feel threatened by Chinese upstarts. This position was made known by Kim Ki-nam, head of Samsung’s chip business unit who downplayed the threat of Chinese rivals in this segment of the market.

The Samsung exec stated that technological barriers in chips were relatively higher than in other industries, adding that it would require more than just large short-term investments to overcome such difficulties. Because of this, the company doesn’t see its position getting threatened anytime soon. But then, due to technological advancements, new and easier manufacturing methods continue to spring up daily.

Samsung chip business is one of its most lucrative, accounting for 45 percent of the company’s total revenue last year. Specifically, the company’s revenue from the sector was over $100 billion last year. It accounted for 75 percent of Samsung Electronics’ annual operating income. The company’s strategy is to expand its second-generation 10nm DRAM products and increase gaps to its rivals by developing third-generation 10nm DRAM and sixth-generation NAND flash in the near future. the tech giant is also shifting its focus to cover meeting the rising demand for chips from the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G and automotive industries.

LG K9 Launched In Russia, Is A Rebranded Model Of LG K8 (2018)

Last month, LG unveiled its K8 (2018) smartphone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Now, the company has launched the same device in Russia, albeit with a new name — LG K9.

Apart from the change in the name, there is no major difference in terms of features and specifications. The phone comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels screen resolution and the standard 16:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm‘s entry-level processor — Snapdragon 210 clocked at 1.3GHz, along with Adreno 304 GPU and 2GB RAM. It packs 16GB of internal storage and comes with a microSD card slot, allowing users to expand the phone’s storage capacity.

As of the camera department, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel camera sensor at the back with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper for taking selfies and video calling. Additionally, the camera has similar features to the LG K8 (2018), including Auto Shot, Gesture Shot, Flash for Selfie, and Quick Share.

Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and micro USB 2.0. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back for added security. Running on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box, the device is powered by a 2,500mAh battery.

The LG K9 has been priced at RUB 9,990 in Russia, which roughly converts to $175. It is unclear if the company will launch the smartphone in other markets with the same branding.

At the time of announcing LG K8 (2018) during Mobile World Congress, the company said that the phone will be rolled out globally in key regions, including Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Because of the small notch present at the topside of the screen, it will be offering an aspect ratio of 19:9. It will be featuring a front-facing home button embedded with a fingerprint scanner.

The Kirin 970 chipset will be powering the P20 that is likely to be coupled with 4 GB of RAM. It is expected to include 128 GB of internal storage. The 3,400mAh battery of the phone is expected to carry support for 5V/4.5A SuperCharge fast charging technology by Huawei.

Huawei P20 Pro Specs, Features and Pricing

Dress in a metal unibody chassis, the Huawei P20 Pro is expected to arrive with a 6.1-inch OLED display that will support FHD+ resolution of 2240 x 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. It also features a home button embedded fingerprint scanner at the front.

The Kirin 970 chipset along with 6 GB of RAM is expected to power the phone. It is expected to feature a native storage of 128 GB. A 4,000mAh battery enabled with SuperCharge fast charging technology is speculated to be present inside the P20 Pro.

The Leica and SUMMILUX branded triple-lens setup of the P20 Pro is expected to include a 40-megapixel RGB sensor, a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. The 40-megapixel sensor has 3x zoom, but by combining with the telephoto lens, the P20 Pro’s triple camera setup offers 5x hybrid zoom. Like the P20, it is also expected to arrive with support for slow-motion video shooting. For snapping selfies, it may feature a 24-megapixel front-facing camera.

The P20 Pro is expected to run on Android 8.1 Oreo + EMUI 8.1 and it is pegged to feature the same connectivity features that are available on the P20. Huawei Porsche Design Mate RS

Huawei will be also launching another phone called Huawei Porsche Design Mate RS tomorrow. Rumors surrounding it suggest that it is a different from P20, P20 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design.

It is expected to arrive with horizontally arranged triple-lens setup. It may feature the same specs as P20 Pro, but may include a massive internal storage of 512 GB.

Xiaomi Mi 7 Display Panel’s Leaked Photo Features a Notch

Huawei’s recent phones like Nova 3e, P20 Lite, P20 and P20 Pro feature iPhone X-like notched display. The recently announced OPPO F7, OPPO R15, R15 Dream Mirror, Vivo X21 and Vivo X9 are all fitted with notched screen. The upcoming OnePlus 6 is also speculated to arrive with a similar looking display. Recent leaks have revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 7 would be also arriving with a notch-enabled screen. A leaked image showing the display panel of the alleged Mi 7 that has appeared today also show that it will be fitted with a notch.

The presence of the slightly wide notch in the above image suggests that it could be housing some sensors for 3D facial recognition apart from front-facing camera and an earpiece. The bezels present on the sides of the phone are very narrow and its chin is a bit thick. It is expected to deliver an impressive screen-to-body ratio.

Rumors have it that the Mi 7 could be featuring an OLED display that will carry support for Always-On Display feature. Some rumors claim that it will be arriving with a 5.65-inch display, while other sources have started that it may house a 6.01-inch screen. There is a possibility that Xiaomi may release a small-sized Mi 7 and a larger Mi 7 Plus smartphone.

The Xiaomi Mi 7 was recently spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 845 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. It may also pegged to arrive with support for wireless charging for its 3,400mAh battery. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S Hands-On Video Appears to Reveal Mysterious Design

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will be launching tomorrow, but none of the leaks that have surfaced so far have managed to reveal the entire design of the phone. However, a leaked video has surfaced today to reveal the front and reveal appearance of the phone.

As it can be seen in the below, the design of the Mi MIX 2S is not very different from last year’s Mi MIX 2 smartphone. The upper and side bezels of the Mi MIX 2S are quite narrow, but the bottom bezel that features a selfie snapper at the right corner is a bit thick. The thin bezel at the top features an earpiece. The back panel of the Mi MIX 2S has vertically arranged dual camera module at the top-left corner. A fingerprint sensor also resides on the rear panel. The right edge of the phone seems to feature the fingerprint scanner.

Earlier today, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun took to Weibo to confirm that the Mi MIX 2S has four-sided curved ceramic chassis. It is speculated that the base model of the Mi MIX 2S may cost around 3,299 Yuan (~$522). Jun has also confirmed that the highest configuration model of the Mi MIX 2S will be featuring 8 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 256 GB.

The AI powered dual rear cameras will be coming with couple of exciting features like Full HD slow-motion video shooting and scene recognition. It will be also arriving with the same 5.99-inch IPS LCD panel that is available on the Mi MIX 2. Some of the other key features of the Mi MIX 2S include Snapdragon 845 chipset and support for wireless charging.

HMD Global’s Nokia 3310 4G Is Powered By Spreadtrum SC9820 Chipset

Earlier this year, HMD Global officially launched the Nokia 3310 4G phone in China. However, the company had not revealed which processor powers the device.

Now, Spreadtrum Communications — a China-based semiconductor company has revealed that the Nokia 3310 4G is powered by Spreadtrum SC9820 chipset. This is the same chipset that powers the Lava Connect M1 4G feature phone that was launched in India last year.

The chipset is claimed to be the world’s first 4G feature phone chipset. Along with 4G VoLTE HD voice and video calling, the chipset supports the display having FWVGA screen resolution, 5-megapixel camera, and 720p HD video playback.

The SC9820 comes with dual-core ARM A7 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and ARM Mali 400 graphics processor for 3D graphics acceleration. In terms of network connectivity, it supports TDD-LTE, FDD-LTE, TD-SCDMA, and GSM four-mode.

In terms of appearance, the Nokia 3310 4G resembles the original Nokia 3310 (2017) that was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February last year. It measures 117 x 52.4 x 13.35 mm and it weighs 88.1 grams.

The phone features a 2.4-inch display that comes with 320 x 240 pixels screen resolution. It comes with 256MB RAM and a native storage capacity of 512MB. It also supports storage expansion up to 64GB using a microSD card.

The device also comes equipped with an LED enabled 2-megapixel snapper on its back panel. Connectivity features available on the Nokia 3310 4G include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB, Bluetooth 4.0, and 3.5mm audio jack.

It is fueled by a 1,200mAh battery that offers 5 hours of talk time on 4G VoLTE and 12 days of standby time on 4G VoLTE. The phone will be available in two color choices — Fresh Blue and Dark Black. The Nokia 3310 4G will soon go on sale in China and the pricing will be announced at that time.

Alleged OnePlus 6 Seen on Geekbench

With the OnePlus 5T permanently out of stock in North America, fans of the brand are more anxious for the launch of the OnePlus 6. The upcoming phone is said to have surfaced on Geekbench, revealing a few key specs.

The phone is benchmarked as the NS NS P7819 which is different from the OnePlus A*** style of previous OnePlus models. It runs Android 8.1 oreo and is powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor. It also has 6GB of RAM.

Benchmark scores are 2535 and 8632 for single-core and multi-core respectively. These are similar to the scores of the Mi MIX 2s, another Snapdragon 845 phone scheduled to launch tomorrow.

OPPO F7 that has been designed for selfie lovers is the first smartphone to feature a 25-megapixel selfie camera. The other notable features of the F7 are the different AI capabilities of the front camera, impressive 19:9 full screen design, the latest Helio P60 chipset and 6 GB of RAM.

Design and Display

The OPPO F7 that features a glossy glass rear. It can be availed in colors like Solar Red and Moonlight Silver. There is a special Diamond Black edition that has a triangular cut pattern that gives it a premium appeal. The handset measures 158 x 75.3 x 7.5mm and it weighs 158 grams.

The OPPO F7 is fitted with a Super Full Screen LTPS IPS TFT display of 6.23 inches that supports 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen produces FHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and delivers a screen-to-body ratio of 88 percent.

AI Driven Front and Rear Cameras

Software HDR can capture three separate images that are over-exposed, normal and under-exposed and then superimpose them to generate bright and clear images. The hardware sensor HDR of the 25-megapixel Sony IMX576 camera with f/2.0 aperture is even better that can not only function similarly but also generate images with higher clarity and brightness. This allows the OPPO F7 to capture natural looking selfie shots with real-life same color production.

The Smart AI recognition driven front camera can scan more than 296 facial spots which includes key parts like T-zone, U-zone and eyes to capture amazing selfie shots. It even enhances other areas like neck and arms.

The OPPO AI technology can remember selfie editing preferences of the user to capture images with same settings that were used while shooting previous shots. Also, OPPO AI’s can enhance photos considering aspects like gender, age, skin tone and skin type.

The Vivid Mode makes it possible for the front camera to shoot naturally beautiful face shots against color production for the outfits and background. The other AI features available on the OPPO F7 include AR stickers and AI album.

The rear side of the phone features an f/1.8 aperture 16-megapixel snapper. The AI screen recognition feature available on the dual rear cameras can capture enhanced shots by identifying 16 different scenes and objects such as grass, indoor, sky, food, snow, sunset, night, light, dog, cat, portrait, baby, firework, beach, scenery and text. Other features of the rear camera include portrait mode and vivid mode.

Performance and Software

The OPPO F7 is powered by 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor that is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM on the 64 GB storage model. There is a 128 GB storage variant too that houses 6 GB of RAM. It features a dedicated slot for adding a microSD card. Itis fueled by a 3,400mAh battery that offers 33.5 hours of continuous music playback, 13.4 hours of continuous video playback and 8.3 hours of continuous gaming. The AI battery management on the OPPO F7 reads and identifies the usage pattern and accordingly adjusts the battery power.

The OPPO F7 is loaded with the latest ColorOS 5.0which is nothing but a customized version of the newest Android 8.1 Oreo OS. It brings along full screen multi-tasking through gestures better navigation experience on the large-sized display of the OPPO F7. The ColorOS has a password protected folder for storing sensitive data. An Indian theme is included on the phone. For security, it features facial unlock and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The other features of the OPPO F7 are dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB 2.0, USB OTG and GPS. It lacks support for NFC.

Pricing and Availability

The OPPO F7 featuring 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage that is priced at Rs. 21,990 (~$339) can be availed in Solar Red, Moonlight Silver and Diamond Black color options. On the other side, the 128 GB OPPO F7 with 6 GB of RAM be bought in Solar Red and Diamond Black colors has a price tag of Rs. 26,990 (`$416).

OPPO will be carrying out a flash sale for OPPO F7 both online and offline for only one of 2^nd April. It will be exclusively available online through Flipkart and its offline stores. Xiaomi Mi 6X Seen On TENAA: A Red Redmi Note 5 Pro With A Smaller Battery

There have been sightings of cases and renders said to be of the Xiaomi Mi 6X but there has been no official confirmation of the device’s existence until today. The Xiaomi Mi 6X has been seen on TENAA and true to previous leaks, it does look familiar.

The Mi 6X which has model number M1804D2SE sports a 5.99” display powered by a 2910mAh battery. Its dimensions are given as 158.88 × 75.54 × 7.3 mm.

With respect to design, the Mi 6X shares a striking resemblance to the Redmi Note 5 Pro (Redmi Note 5 in China). It has the same vertically arranged dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The only difference is the U-antennas reminiscent of the Mi 5X/Mi A1.

The Xiaomi Mi 6X Xiaomi is shown in the popular red color of the Mi 5X but there should be other color variants at launch. The front of the phone is black and a camera and earpiece is visible at the top of the device.

Meizu 15 Trio Appear On TENAA: Lists Screen Size, Battery, & Dimensions

With the Meizu E3 out of the way, the focus is now on the Meizu 15. The anniversary edition flagship is expected to come in three variants which have been spotted on TENAA.

The three devices are listed as the Meizu M891Q, Meizu M881M, and the Meizu M871Q which we believe are the Meizu 15 Plus, Meizu 15, and Meizu 15 Lite respectively.

Meizu 15 Plus (M891Q)

The Meizu 15 Plus has a 5.95” display. It packs a 3430mAh battery and measures 153.8 × 78.25 × 7.25 mm. It runs an undisclosed version of Android and has dual SIM support.

Images provided show the phone has dual rear cameras. The cameras are stacked vertically and sit in the middle of the phone. There is also a ring flash below the setup. Power button is on the right and volume control buttons sit on the left.

Up in front, the phone has slightly smaller bezels. The front facing camera sits at the center of the top bezel and the bottom is home to a circular home button. This likely doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

Meizu 15 (M881M)

The Meizu 15 packs a smaller 5.46” display along with a smaller 2940mAh battery. The dimensions are also smaller at 143 × 72 × 7.25 mm.

The design is identical to that of the Meizu 15 Plus with the only difference being the gold brushed metal back instead of black. However, the front of the phone is black too with the same circular home button.

Meizu 15 Lite (M871Q)

The Meizu 15 Lite has the same 5.46” screen as the Meizu 15 but it is possible the resolution is lower. It has a slightly bigger battery too (3000mAh/3050mAh) and measures 143.62 × 72.38 × 7.5 mm.

The significant difference is in the design and camera. The rear is home to a single camera but it has the same ring LED flash. The back is metal with a matte gold finish and visible U-antenna lines at the top and bottom.

The front of the Meizu 15 Lite is white but it shares the same design as the other two. The white bezels lets us see that there is an earpiece at the top of the camera. It is a very thin slit positioned at the edge of the frame which explains why we didn’t see it on the other two.

Black Shark Technology Incorporated, a newly formed smartphone manufacturing company, which is backed by Xiaomi, is gearing up to launch its first gaming smartphone. The upcoming smartphone, which is expected to be named Black Shark, has already been leaked online.

While the previous leaks surrounding the Black Shark gaming smartphone had suggested that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor, the company has now officially confirmed this.

The company has released a poster of the upcoming smartphone which mentions that the Black Shark gaming smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm‘s flagship Snapdragon 845 SoC to provide a smoother gaming experience. This is the same chipset that is powering almost all of the flagship smartphones launched this year.

In addition to this, last week, the company had revealed that the phone will come with “Shark Space” — a feature that is similar to the Game Center feature.

Recently, Black Shark’s chief executive officer announced a lucky draw contest on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. As a part of the contest, the company will select 3 lucky winners on 30th March who will then receive Black Shark gaming smartphone.

The previously leaked specs suggest that the phone will feature a Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2160 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. It will pack 8GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage but we expected the device to have a microSD card slot, allowing users to further expand the storage capacity on the phone. We are also expecting either 64GB storage model or 128GB internal storage variant as well.

The device is expected to be running on Android 8.0 (Oreo) operating system out-of-the-box. While there is no more information available at this time regarding the phone’s display, the phone might come with a 120Hz display in order to compete with the Razer Phone that was released last year.

The company recently signed a cooperation agreement with JD.com for sales and promotions. With the company revealing the phone’s specifications, organizing contests, and forming partnerships for the phone, it seems that the official launch date of the Black Shark gaming smartphone is not far away.
