The predecessor <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-3">Nova 3</a> handset came with a notched display design to offer high screen space. The Nova 4 will be offering even higher screen space since it will be featuring a notch-less display with a small round-shaped cutout for the selfie camera. The handset will be available in four color options such as Fritillaria White, Suyin Blue. Honey Red and Bright Black. Freshly leaked renders of the Huawei Nova 4 have surfaced to confirm on the color variants and to reveal its front and rear design.</p>

Also, it will be equipped with a triple camera unit on the rear. The entire specifications of the Huawei Nova 4 smartphone have surfaced on Weibo. It reveals that the smartphone will be hitting the Chinese markets in standard and high versions.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-4">Huawei Nova 4</a> will be featuring a 6.4-inch display that supports full HD+ resolution of 2310 x 1080 pixels. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-3">Huawei Nova 3</a> that was announced in July featured the same chipset. Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology for accelerated GPU performance will be present on the smartphone.</p>
<p>The SoC of the Nova 4 will be coupled with 8 GB of RAM. It will be arriving with a native storage of 128 GB. The leak does not confirm whether the smartphone will be featuring a microSD card slot. However, since the predecessor model featured it, there is a possibility that the Nova 4 will feature it too.</p>

The handset that was announced in July this year has been under testing for Android Pie since some time. However, it seems Huawei is now ready to seed the update via OTA to some regions. Do note that not all variants are receiving the update and a post on Reddit shows the Chinese variant has received the update.</p>
<p>Furthermore, Huawei has also released a timeline for other handsets that are progressing on EMUI 9.0 with Android Pie. Below are the devices.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-227177 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/huawei-nova-3-emui-9.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="637" height="1280" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/huawei-nova-3-emui-9.jpg 637w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/huawei-nova-3-emui-9-149x300.jpg 149w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/huawei-nova-3-emui-9-510x1024.jpg 510w" sizes="(max-width: 637px) 100vw, 637px" /></p>
<ul>
<li>Nova 2s has released a beta version on November 20th</li>
<li>Nova 3i started beta recruitment on November 28th</li>
<li>Nova 3e expects to launch beta recruitment in January</li>
<li>Maimang 7 has launched a beta survey on November 28</li>
</ul>
<p>Speaking about the Nova 3 update, it weighs around 4.7GB in size and comes with build number PAR-AL00 9.0.0.101. That&#8217;s quite a big update and if any Chinese user wishes to update their Nova 3, he/she should probably check for adequate internal storage before downloading the OTA. However, users might want to consider updating in the first place because there&#8217;s a big change in the update.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>

<li><strong>RELATED: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/12/10/huawei-nova-4-images-leaked-on-tenaa-official-teaser-video-and-live-shots-also-appear/">Huawei Nova 4 images leaked on TENAA; Official teaser video and live shots also appear</a></strong></li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>With regards to the features, the changelog mentions that EMUI 9.0 removes support for third-party launchers which means users will be stuck with EMUI after the update. That&#8217;s a pretty disappointing move if you&#8217;re into third-party launchers like Nova. Other than that, the update spruces up the battery life, animations and even face unlock is faster than before. The new HiVision feature that detects food and calories was also found to be very accurate by the Reddit user who posted the changelog.</p>

<p>Further, <a href="//www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei/">Huawei</a> has added new authentication feature for making payments with WeChat. Users can make payments via WeChat using the fingerprint authentication. The update also brings some camera improvements, making photos to process with much better color saturation. It has fixed the major Wi-Fi scan pop-up bug along with other minor tweaks.</p>
<p>Currently, the OTA update is available in China and will soon commence in other regions. The firmware version B142 is rolling out as an OTA update and is only available for PAR-AL00, and PAR-TL00 models. The owners of these models can check for the update by heading to the Settings &gt;&gt; System &gt;&gt; System Update. Usually, OTA update takes few days to reach each and every unit. Before updating the Huawei Nova 3, make sure it is charged more than 50% and is connected to stable Wi-Fi network.</p>

The manufacturer was “caught” using a DSLR in place of its own phone, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-3/">Nova 3</a>/<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-3i/">Nova 3i</a> in this case for camera samples in a video ad.</p>
<p>The 30-second video ad which features Egyptian actress, Sarah Elshamy, has her significant trying to take a selfie of her while she tries to apply her makeup before he does. In the completed ad, the scene is to actually show off the AI beauty feature of the camera which takes beautified pictures of you that appears as if you have make-up on.</p>
[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Kf7g2XEWwI[/embedyt]
<p>Unfortunately, behind-the-scenes pictures posted by the actress on her Instagram page shows that in this particular scene, the man is actually not holding the Nova 3 or Nova 3i. He&#8217;s not even holding anything in this “selfie-taking position”, rather there is another man with a DSLR camera at an angle that makes it appear as if a selfie is being taken.</p>
[envira-gallery id=&#8221;207161&#8243;]
<p>We probably wouldn&#8217;t know that there was no actual selfie if not for Ms. Elshamy but seeing as a feature of the phone which may convince buyers to purchase the phone is being advertised and it has been revealed that the selfie was not taken by the phone, prospective buyers may not be so eager to buy any of the two phones anymore.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-207159" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Huawei-Nova-3i-advert-fail.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei Nova 3i advert fail" width="419" height="260" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Huawei-Nova-3i-advert-fail.jpg 419w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Huawei-Nova-3i-advert-fail-300x186.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 419px) 100vw, 419px" /></p>
<p>Ms. Elshamy has since deleted the picture but the damage has been done already. Huawei will most likely offer an explanation and an apology as to what happened and might even throw in a freebie or discount to entice customers but the deed has been done already.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">READ MORE:</span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/08/20/huawei-mate-20-to-come-with-water-drop-notch-triple-rear-cameras-and-more/">Huawei Mate 20 to come with water-drop notch, triple rear cameras and more</a><span id="more-207137"></span></p>
<p>Huawei is not new to this “not-totally-honest advertising”. It has been caught in the past passing of DSLR photos as camera samples of the Huawei P9 and also photoshopping the bezels on the marketing photos for the Huawei P8 and P8 Max.</p>

Naturally, the Nova 3 and the Nova 3i smartphones have been in high demand <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/18/huawei-nova-3-takes-mid-rangers-to-a-new-level-bring-3d-face-unlock-gpu-turbo-kirin-970/">ever since its launch back on July 18</a>. Now, He Gang, the head of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei">Huawei&#8217;s</a> mobile phone division reveals that the Nova 3 series (including <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-3i/">Nova 3i</a>) has crossed 2 million in shipments in just a month of its release. This goes on to reveal the popularity of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-3/">Nova 3</a> series in China.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/huawei-nova-3-gizmochina.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-202374" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/huawei-nova-3-gizmochina.png?x44794" alt="huawei nova 3 gizmochina" width="546" height="352" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/huawei-nova-3-gizmochina.png 546w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/huawei-nova-3-gizmochina-300x193.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 546px) 100vw, 546px" /></a></p>
<p>It&#8217;s worth mentioning that the 2 million shipment figure given by Mr. Gang is just for the domestic market of China. The Nova 3 series have been <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/11/huawei-nova-3i-will-launch-in-the-philippines-on-july-28/">officially launched in a number of other Asian countries</a>, including the second largest smartphone market (<a href="https://www.canalys.com/newsroom/india-overtakes-us-become-second-largest-smartphone-market">Canalys report</a>), India. However, the shipments in these markets have not yet been accounted for, which means that this figure is a lot higher when we include the international markets. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/nova">Nova</a> 3 series&#8217; popularity in China is not surprising. Mr. Gang had revealed that 60 percent of Nova series sales were registered in China while the remaining 40 percent came from the international markets.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/huawei-nova-3i-gizmochina.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-202376" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/huawei-nova-3i-gizmochina.png?x44794" alt="huawei nova 3i gizmochina" width="521" height="356" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/huawei-nova-3i-gizmochina.png 521w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/huawei-nova-3i-gizmochina-300x205.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 521px) 100vw, 521px" /></a></p>
<p>The new Nova 3 phones are particularly popular among the young generation, all thanks to its four camera bokeh equipped shooters in a beautiful 3D glass body. Even the smaller sibling, the Nova 3i boasts of a capable chipset, the new gen 12nm <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/18/huawei-announces-kirin-710-its-first-12nm-chipset/">Kirin 710 that was announced a couple of months</a> back. So, both the phones bring a lot of value for their competitive prices.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/s_3c0dc27f5ff74e788e551aa756f5afa0.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-206543" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/s_3c0dc27f5ff74e788e551aa756f5afa0.jpg?x44794" alt="Nova 3 red 01" width="600" height="337" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/s_3c0dc27f5ff74e788e551aa756f5afa0.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/s_3c0dc27f5ff74e788e551aa756f5afa0-300x169.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>In related news, Nova 3 Acacia Red color is now up for sale in China, just in time for the Chinese Valentine&#8217;s Day. This beautiful red variant is only available in 6+128GB option and is priced at 2999 Yuan (~$436).</p>

Its sub-brand Honor had recently announced <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-honor-10-gt/">Honor 10 GT</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-honor-note-10-128gb/">Honor Note 10</a> smartphones with Kirin 970 SoC onboard. Various smartphone OEMs are expected to debut new flagship phones in the second half of the year. An industry insider from China with well-known track record on leaked information on forthcoming phones has shared the list of flagship smartphones that are slated to debut this year.</p>
<h3>August</h3>
<p>The Meizu 16 series that includes <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/meizu-16">Meizu 16</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/meizu-16-plus">Meizu 16 Plus</a> smartphones are expected to go official on Aug. 8. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is slated to go official on Aug. 9. The Smartisan Pro 3 and OPPO R17 are rumored to go official later in this month. The 360 N7 Pro is likely to get announced later in August or September.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/17/hi-res-render-of-galaxy-note-9-surfaces-yellow-stylus-blue-phone/galaxy-note-9-hi-res-render/" rel="attachment wp-att-201755"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201755" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Galaxy-Note-9-Hi-res-render.jpg?x44794" alt="Galaxy Note 9 Hi-res render" width="504" height="560" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Galaxy-Note-9-Hi-res-render.jpg 504w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Galaxy-Note-9-Hi-res-render-270x300.jpg 270w" sizes="(max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px" /></a></p>
<h3>September</h3>
<p>The LG V40 ThinQ is expected to get unleashed in September. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/23/lg-v40-specifications-leak-reveal-triple-cameras-3d-face-scanning-along-with-arrival-time/">A recent report</a> has revealed that after its unveiling in September, the company release it in the market in early October.</p>
<p>The 2018 iPhones will be also arriving in September. Recent reports have suggested that the two upcoming OLED iPhones may debut as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/16/apple-iphone-9-case-renders-reveal-notched-display-design-and-single-rear-camera/">iPhone 9</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/17/iphone-9-plus-case-renders-reveal-design-of-the-largest-iphone-ever/">iPhone 9 Plus</a>. The company is also expected to announce LCD iPhone in September. However, a recent report has claimed that since the Cupertino company has <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/26/apple-to-delay-the-launch-of-its-6-1-iphone-till-october-due-to-lcd-issues/">encountered production issues</a> with the LCD iPhone, it may hit the market by October or early November.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/TIM图片20180713145239.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201046" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/TIM图片20180713145239.jpg?x44794" alt="oppo find x vs vivo nex" width="900" height="600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/TIM图片20180713145239.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/TIM图片20180713145239-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/TIM图片20180713145239-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/TIM图片20180713145239-1024x682.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></a></p>
<p>Last year, Xiaomi had launched the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-mix-2">Mi MIX 2</a> on Sept. 11 and on the very next Apple had announced the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-x">iPhone X</a> as its first OLED iPhone. Hence, the Mi MIX 3 is pegged to arrive in September this year. However, the leakster has claimed that there is a possibility that the smartphone may get announced in October. A recent report has revealed that it may <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/27/xiaomi-mi-mix-3-design-leak-suggest-reduced-chin-popup-camera/">arrive with improved design</a>.</p>
<h3>October</h3>
<p>The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL phones are speculated to go official either in September or October. Since the predecessor Google Pixel phones were unveiled in October, it is likely that this year also the company may follow the same launch pattern. The Nubia Z19 and Huawei Mate 20 series that includes Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are poised to get unveiled by mid-October.</p>
<h3>November</h3>
<p>By mid-November, OnePlus may announce the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/26/oneplus-6t-concept-renders-feature-notch-less-display-triple-rear-cameras-popup-selfie-shooter-and-more/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">OnePlus 6T smartphone</a>. Honor may rival it by launching the Honor V11 smartphone around the same time.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/26/oneplus-6t-concept-renders-feature-notch-less-display-triple-rear-cameras-popup-selfie-shooter-and-more/oneplus-6t-concept-renders/" rel="attachment wp-att-203225"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-203225" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/OnePlus-6T-concept-renders.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus 6T concept renders" width="1080" height="548" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/OnePlus-6T-concept-renders.png 1080w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/OnePlus-6T-concept-renders-300x152.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/OnePlus-6T-concept-renders-768x389.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/OnePlus-6T-concept-renders-1024x519.png 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></a></p>
<h3>December</h3>
<p>360 Mobiles may announce the 360 N8 flagship by mid-December. Honor may introduce the Honor Magic 2 as the successor for <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-honor-magic">Honor Magic</a> that was announced in December 2016. Vivo X22 or Xplay7 is also likely to debut by the end of this year. Could this be the first ever 10 GB RAM phone that is rumored to go official this year?</p>
<p>The leakster has further claimed Apple 12 that powers the forthcoming 2018 iPhones is a 7nm SoC. The 7nm Kirin 980 SoC is expected to fuel Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Honor V11 and Honor Magic 2 smartphones. Rest of the phones are speculated to feature the 10nm Snapdragon 845 SoC. However, it seems unlikely that the OPPO R17 and Vivo X22 will arrive with SD845 SoC.</p>
<p>Some of the other flagship phones that are not mentioned in the above list include  Nokia 9 or <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/06/27/hmd-global-working-on-nokia-a1-plus-flagship-to-have-oled-display-sd845-in-screen-fingerprint-scanner/">Nokia A1 Plus</a>, Razer Phone 2, Sony Xperia XZ3, Xperia XZ3 Compact and XZ3 Premium. The Moto Z3 is expected to official tomorrow.</p>

As you&#8217;d recall, the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/huawei">Huawei</a> Nova 3 joins the class of smartphones which pack four cameras. The device features a dual camera setup at the back and also for selfies. Thus, the camera is expected to perform creditably well and it did just that. The camera samples show the device really packs a powerful camera setup. Although the Nova 3 camera setup may not be at the same level as the flagship P20 Pro, the samples are not disappointing either. Since it packs flagship specs, we&#8217;ll have to wait for DXOMark&#8217;s review to see where the camera ranks against the P20 Pro.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_94072ffe8e2e495da417bb0053600135.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201978" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_94072ffe8e2e495da417bb0053600135.jpg?x44794" alt="nova 3 rear camera shot" width="600" height="466" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_94072ffe8e2e495da417bb0053600135.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_94072ffe8e2e495da417bb0053600135-300x233.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_94072ffe8e2e495da417bb0053600135-285x220.jpg 285w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>The Huawei Nova 3 doesn&#8217;t only pack a capable camera hardware, the device equally features a good software support which ensures the photos are well optimised. For instance, the front camera supports AI features as well as an enhanced beauty mode. As for the configuration, the front camera is made up of a 24MP f/2.0 sensor along with a secondary 2MP sensor. While the rear camera is composed of a 16MP +24MP dual camera setup (Color + B/W sensors) with f/1.8 aperture lens, PDAF, contrast AF, AI scene recognition (22 categories and 500 different scenes), short video effects via AI.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_7dfd933e21ce4a27a980641cf017a975.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201969" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_7dfd933e21ce4a27a980641cf017a975.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei Nova 3 camera sample" width="579" height="900" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_7dfd933e21ce4a27a980641cf017a975.jpg 579w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_7dfd933e21ce4a27a980641cf017a975-193x300.jpg 193w" sizes="(max-width: 579px) 100vw, 579px" /></a></p>
<p>The camera samples show the Nova 3&#8217;s camera performance under different lighting conditions. The image quality is topnotch. The Nova 3 does a very good job in terms of exposure. Target exposure is spot-on in most situations, even in very low light conditions, and the sample images show a very good dynamic range. Even in difficult high-contrast lighting conditions, the Nova 3 cameras are able to preserve a lot of detail in the bright parts of a scene.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_aaf961813c6d4c89af0b8dbf23c7054a.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201980" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_aaf961813c6d4c89af0b8dbf23c7054a.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei Nova 3" width="579" height="900" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_aaf961813c6d4c89af0b8dbf23c7054a.jpg 579w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_aaf961813c6d4c89af0b8dbf23c7054a-193x300.jpg 193w" sizes="(max-width: 579px) 100vw, 579px" /></a></p>
<p>The Nova 3 portrait scene captured by the selfie camera is also spot on as seen above. Exposure on the subject is very good. At the same time, the camera is capable of preserving a lot of the bright background detail.  In all, the Nova 3 front and rear camera setup are pretty impressive especially since they team up with the Kirin 970 AI chipset. You can check out more of the camera samples from below.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_3012851ae5724557b9cd90fc949717ce.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" Unlike the earlier smartphones in this series which were essentially mid-rangers, the company has boosted the new Nova 3 model with the flagship AI enabled Kirin 970 chipset inside. Not just that, the phone supports the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/06/06/honor-announces-gpu-turbo-a-turbocharger-for-your-smartphone-graphics/">recently announced GPU Turbo technology as well</a>, making it a power packed smartphone for a pretty aggressive price tag.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_0070d88b645142cabdf589847dd130ba.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201976" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_0070d88b645142cabdf589847dd130ba.jpg?x44794" alt="Nova 3 01" width="600" height="336" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_0070d88b645142cabdf589847dd130ba.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_0070d88b645142cabdf589847dd130ba-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>The Huawei Nova series has always focused on the camera experience. The same applies with the new Nova 3 as well. Like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/12/07/huawei-nova-2s-official-brings-dual-front-rear-cameras-full-screen-display/">Nova 2S that was announced back in December 2017</a>, the new model features 4 cameras in total, two on the front and two on the back. This will ensure that you&#8217;ll be able to capture good quality selfies with bokeh from both the ends.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Huawei Nova 3 Design</h3>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/20180718_183938_809.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201982" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/20180718_183938_809.jpg?x44794" alt="nova 3 primrose gold" width="600" height="336" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/20180718_183938_809.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/20180718_183938_809-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>Huawei has decided to stick with glass on the new model, like<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/13/honor-sells-3-million-honor-10-units-achieves-150-growth/"> its recent releases</a>. So, the Huawei Nova 3 comes with 3D double curved glass on both the sides. The glass at the back features high refractive index and comes in four color options: Black, light blue, primrose gold, and blue-violet (similar to the shade on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/05/10/huawei-p20-aurora-launched-gradient-colors-change-depending-on-light-conditions/">gradient Aurora P20 pro</a>).</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_4f8b174cdfa845cf85f03329a902376b.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201968" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_4f8b174cdfa845cf85f03329a902376b.jpg?x44794" alt="nova 3 aurora " width="600" height="336" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_4f8b174cdfa845cf85f03329a902376b.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_4f8b174cdfa845cf85f03329a902376b-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>Up front, you have a notch which houses a number of sensors like ambient light, proximity, IR light sensor for 3D face recognition, dual cameras (on either sides) and earpiece. So, its bigger than some notch phones like the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-6-2/"> OnePlus 6</a>.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Huawei Nova 3 Specs</h3>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_e069352331264708841a5d6ab516e4b3.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201981" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_e069352331264708841a5d6ab516e4b3.jpg?x44794" alt="nova 3 02" width="600" height="337" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_e069352331264708841a5d6ab516e4b3.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_e069352331264708841a5d6ab516e4b3-300x169.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>The Huawei Nova 3 is quite loaded in terms of specs. The phone features a large 6.3-inch display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 2340 x 1080p resolution. The phone supports IR face unlocks and even 3D face recognition payments. Note that there&#8217;s a fingerprint sensor on the back as well. <p>The rear camera is composed of a 16MP +24MP dual camera setup (Color + B/W sensors) with f/1.8 aperture lens, PDAF, contrast AF, AI scene recognition (22 categories and 500 different scenes), short video effects via AI and even HDR Pro at the hardware level. This is said to bring HDR mode in the preview window as well as while shooting videos.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_94072ffe8e2e495da417bb0053600135.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201978" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_94072ffe8e2e495da417bb0053600135.jpg?x44794" alt="nova 3 rear camera shot" width="600" height="466" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_94072ffe8e2e495da417bb0053600135.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_94072ffe8e2e495da417bb0053600135-300x233.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/s_94072ffe8e2e495da417bb0053600135-285x220.jpg 285w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>

The storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD. There&#8217;s a pretty decent 3750mAh battery inside that should last up to a day as well as a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack. Note that the phone comes with support for GPU Turbo which should ensure smooth gaming experience on its large screen.</p>
<p>Other notable features of the Nova 3 include 3D Emoji AR support, Android 8.1 based EMUI 8.2 UI, USB Type-C, and dual SIM support. It&#8217;s worth mentioning that some of the features like 3D face recognition payments and AI short video effects will not be available at launch. There have been <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/10/huawei-nova-3-specs-leak-in-the-wild-flagship-grade-kirin-970-inside/">strong leaks and teasers which suggested that this particular device would be a little different from its predecessors in terms of specs,</a> but today, after an official listing on Huawei&#8217;s VMALL, the phone&#8217;s specs have been confirmed. And we now know for sure that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-3/">Huawei Nova 3</a> is a high-end device. It might not be in line with the P20 series, but it&#8217;s definitely placed near to the Honor series with the powerful Kirin 970 chipset inside.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/gsmarena_010.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-200699" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/gsmarena_010.jpg?x44794" alt="Nova 3 01" width="566" height="566" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/gsmarena_010.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/gsmarena_010-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/gsmarena_010-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/gsmarena_010-270x270.jpg 270w" sizes="(max-width: 566px) 100vw, 566px" /></a></p>
<p>Kirin 970 will be a very big upgrade to the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-2-plus/"> Nova lineup which has always used mid-range processors like the Kirin 659</a>. And once again, Huawei has proved that it&#8217;s not shy to use the same chipset on a lot of smartphones. The Kirin 970 is shared by a lot of smartphones like the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-honor-10/"> Honor 10</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-honor-v10/">V10</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-honor-play/">Honor Play</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-p20-pro/">P20</a> series and even the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-mate-10-pro/">Mate series</a>. But that doesn&#8217;t change the fact that its a powerful flagship grade chipset and hence, Huawei Nova 3&#8217;s performance should really be close to powerful flagships of 2018.</p>
<p>VMALL listing also reveals a few other specs like a large 6.3-inch 1080p display, 6GB + 128GB ROM, 16MP+24MP f/1.8 rear camera, 24MP +2MP f/2.0 front camera and 3750mAh battery. There will be four color options: Aqua Blue, Primrose Gold, Nebula Purple, Black.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>RELATED: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/06/25/opinion-camera-sliders-may-not-be-necessarily-better-than-the-infamous-notch/">Opinion: Camera Sliders May Not Be Necessarily Better Than The Infamous Notch</a></strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>In short, Huawei has really boosted the Nova series with the new Nova 3. The Nebula Purple is very similar to P20 Pro&#8217;s gradient color option and the overall specs are in line with other upper mid-range / flagship smartphones of 2018.</p>
<p>We still don&#8217;t know the pricing of the new handset, but <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/10/huawei-nova-3s-july-18-launch-event-officially-confirmed/">we&#8217;ll get more details on July 18 when the company will officially</a> take the wraps of the device.</p>

At 9 AM (local time), Huawei confirmed through its Weibo account that it will be unveiling the Nova 3 smartphone on July 18. Two hours later, the Chinese manufacturer also revealed that the TalkBand B5 will be also announced on the same date.</p>
<p>Huawei will be holding the Nova 3 launch event at the Shenzhen Universiade Stadium in China on July 18. It is likely that the TalkBand B5 will be also announced at the same venue. Huawei had launched TalkBand B3 smartband in 2016. It included an in-ear Bluetooth headset that featured a monochrome screen. The TalkBand B5 which also features an in-ear Bluetooth headset is arriving as the successor of TalkBand B3.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/10/huawei-talkband-b5-confirmed-to-launch-on-july-18/huawei-talkband-b5-july-18-launch-event/" rel="attachment wp-att-200498"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-200498" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Huawei-TalkBand-B5-July-18-Launch-Event.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei TalkBand B5 July 18 Launch Event" width="506" height="900" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Huawei-TalkBand-B5-July-18-Launch-Event.jpg 506w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Huawei-TalkBand-B5-July-18-Launch-Event-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Huawei-TalkBand-B5-July-18-Launch-Event-576x1024.jpg 576w" sizes="(max-width: 506px) 100vw, 506px" /></a></p>
<p>According to the Weibo post that accompanies the above launch poster, the TalkBand B5’s in-ear Bluetooth headset can be conveniently removed to talk freely. The following leaked render that was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/06/huawei-talkband-b5-press-render-leak/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">revealed by reliable tipster Evan Blass</a> also shows that the device has an in-ear Bluetooth headset which can be ejected easily.</p>
<p>The upcoming TalkBand B5 seems to feature a larger OLED screen with bigger fonts than the predecessor model. The Gold variant may come with a leather strap whereas the Silver model may have a metallic band. Like the predecessor model, the TalkBand B5 is expected to function as a fitness tracker. Hence, it could be equipped with features such as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/09/huawei-talkband-b5-images-leaked-likely-to-debut-on-july-18/">heart rate monitor, sleep tracker and more.</a></p>

<p>The specifications and pricing of the Huawei TalkBand B5 is still under the wraps. It will be arriving as one of the major rivals for the recently unveiled Mi Band 3 that carries a price tag of 169 Yuan (~$25). Hence, the upcoming Huawei smartband is expected to arrive with a competitive pricing.</p>
<p>As far as the Nova 3 smartphone, it will be arriving with 6.3-inch FHD+ notched screen, Kirin 659 SoC, 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB / 128 GB storage choices and 3,650mAh battery. The handset is equipped with dual cameras at its front and rear. It will arrive with EMUI flavored Android 8.1 Oreo preinstalled.</p>

<p>As it can be seen in the below image, the Nova 3 is yet another notched display phone from the company. It will be joining the Nova 3 series which includes the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-3e/">Nova 3e</a> notched display smartphone that was announced few months. The notch of the Nova 3 appears bigger than the other notched screen phones from the company. This is because Nova 3’s notch includes an earpiece, some sensors and two front-facing cameras. It could be the first notched display smartphone ever to come with dual selfie cameras.</p>

<p>The display of the Huawei Nova 3 is surrounded with slim bezels. However, the chin of the device is slightly thick. The glass back of the Nova 3 has a vertical dual camera setup that is powered by AI. The full specs have now been revealed and the Nova 3 does pack some interesting features.</p>
<p>The Nova 3 will come with a 6.3-inch 2240 x 1080 display which means it has a notch. It is powered by a 2.36GHz octa-core processor. There were rumors that the phone will come with the new Kirin 710 but that doesn&#8217;t seem to be the case as that clock-speed points at the Kirin 659. Yeah, we are tired of it too.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-198068" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Nova-3-TENAA-featured.jpg?x44794" alt="Nova 3 TENAA featured" width="900" height="585" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Nova-3-TENAA-featured.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Nova-3-TENAA-featured-300x195.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Nova-3-TENAA-featured-768x499.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Nova-3-TENAA-featured-1024x666.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></p>
<p>The SoC is paired with 6GB of RAM and will come in 64GB and 128GB versions. There will also be a microSD card slot to add up to an extra 256GB of storage.</p>
<p>The selling point of the Huawei Nova 3 will be its quad cameras &#8211; dual cameras on both sides. We guess this is Huawei&#8217;s way of compensating for the Kirin 659. The rear cameras are a combination of a 16MP primary sensor and a 24MP secondary sensor. For selfies, the Nova 3 packs a 24MP sensor and it is paired with a secondary 2MP sensor. Expect it to come bundled with Huawei&#8217;s AI features.</p>

<p>The phone will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and have a 3650mAh battery. The battery is bigger than that of the P20 but smaller than that of the P20 Pro.</p>
<p>TENAA says it will come in black but the images provided are of a blue variant. However, we believe the Nova 3 will launch in more than just 2 colors.</p>
<p>Huawei hasn&#8217;t announced a launch date yet but it should not be far off since it has passed TENAA.</p>

<p>The picture of the front shows the display turned off, so we can&#8217;t confirm if the display has a notch. But we won&#8217;t be surprised if it does seeing as the front camera, earpiece and sensor are all positioned in the middle. The power button and volume rocker are on the right side of the phone and images of the sides show the dual rear cameras have a slight bump.</p>

A new Weibo post on the official Huawei Phone Weibo handle confirms the existence of the Nova 3 as the post was made using the device and the company has selected a new brand ambassador, likely for the Nova 3 launch. A leaked teaser poster which also emanated from Weibo has unmasked what is said to be the rear design of the Huawei Nova 3.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/huawei-nova.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-198004" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/huawei-nova.png?x44794" alt="Huawei Nova 3E" width="596" height="450" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/huawei-nova.png 596w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/huawei-nova-300x227.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/huawei-nova-160x120.png 160w" sizes="(max-width: 596px) 100vw, 596px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left">The Huawei Nova 3 leaked photo only shows the rear panel and the similarity between the design and that of the P20 Lite is glaring. Unfortunately, the front design wasn’t featured but we expect something similar, perhaps with a notch at the top of the display. Huawei might decide to ditch the notch on this one, though.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/huawei-nova3-2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-198006" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/huawei-nova3-2.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="400" height="713" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/huawei-nova3-2.jpg 400w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/huawei-nova3-2-168x300.jpg 168w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></a></p>

<p>The specs of the device are still unknown but its predecessor, the Nova 3E comes with 5.8-inch full-screen design with a screen ratio of 19:9 and a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. The device also weighs just 145g. We don’t expect the Nova 3 design to be any different. However, the device said to go by the codename “Paris” is expected to be fired up by a Kirin 710 chipset and will run Android 8.1 Orea with EMUI 8 custom skin. Huawei is expected to launch the device in July<br />

Its upcoming P-series flagship which should be called the P11 will launch as the Huawei P20. It turns out the same will happen to the Mate series as well.</p>
<p>It was reported earlier that Huawei wants to keep the naming uniform on both of its major flagships hence its decision to change the Plus model of the P-series to Pro.</p>
<p>A new leak has now revealed that the Mate series will also be getting a name change. The leak comes from a Weibo user by the name @lumisky.</p>
<p>According to him, the next Mate phone will be called the Huawei Mate 20 (and Mate 20 Pro) and not Mate 11 (and Mate 11 Pro).</p>
[envira-gallery id=&#8221;176844&#8243;]
<p>The leaks not only reveal the name of the next Mate phones but also their specs alongside those of other Huawei (and Honor) phones set to launch this year.</p>

Since two of them have similar model number and appeal, they seem to be variants of an upcoming Huawei phone while the third one seems to be a different smartphone. It is speculated that these two phones may arrive in the market as Huawei Nova 3, Nova 3 Plus and Y3/Y5 2018.</p>

[envira-gallery id=&#8221;171852&#8243;]
<p>The design of the Huawei FLA-AL00 and FLA-TL10 are quite similar. The appearance of the dual camera setup looks similar to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-2/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Huawei Nova 2</a>Nova 2 series phones. Hence, these variants are speculated to debut as Nova 3 and Nova 3 Plus.  The AL00 Huawei phones are usually made available through China Unicom whereas the TL00 variants are sold through either China Mobile or China Telecom in the home country. Hence, the FLA-AL00 and FLA-TL10 could be the carrier variants of the Nova 3.</p>
<p>The Huawei LDN-TL00 is speculated to be the successor of Huawei Y3 or Y5 2017 smartphones from last year. Since the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/04/04/huawei-y5-2017-official-new-easy-key-feature-3000mah-battery-emui-4-1/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Huawei Y5 2017</a> was unveiled in April and the Nova 2, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-2-plus/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nova 2 Plus</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/05/15/huawei-y3-2017-backup-phone-need-summer-vacation/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Y3 2017</a> phones were launched in May, it is speculated that the their successor models may arrive early in the second quarter of this year.</p>

<p>All three upcoming Huawei phones seem to support 18:9 aspect ratio supporting screen. The rear sides of these phones are flanked with dual cameras and fingerprint reader. The appearance of the dual camera setup on the Y3/Y5 2018 looks different from Nova 3 and 3 Plus. The Y3/Y5 2018 seems to feature single front camera whereas the Nova 3 models have dual selfie snappers. These phones are likely to carry support to for dual-SIM and arrive preinstalled with Android 8.0 Oreo and EMUI 8.0.</p>
<p>We advise our readers to digest this report with a pinch of salt. The identify of the above phones can be guessed properly only when their TENAA listing are updated with specs.</p>

The TENAA images show that the new smartphone not only sports a full screen design, but also a front-mounted fingerprint reader.</p>
<p>It is speculated that the smartphone shown in the above images is the upcoming Huawei Nova 2s. It seems to be the same handset that had appeared in the leaked photos <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/11/19/photos-full-screen-aurora-smartphone-front-mounted-fingerprint-scanner-leaked-rumored-huawei-p11-plus-nova-3/">earlier this week</a>. Some other rumors speculate that it may launch as Nova 3.</p>
[envira-gallery id=&#8221;158840&#8243;]
<p>The alleged Nova 2s / Nova 3 features a 6-inch display that supports 18:9 aspect ratio. Most of the full screen design smartphones that have launched so far have rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as their front panel is mainly occupied by large-sized display. Surprisingly, Huawei has managed to place a fingerprint sensor embedded Home button on the slim-sized bottom bezel of the rumored Nova 2s.</p>
<p>The backside of the smartphone features dual camera system that includes a 16-megapixel sensor and a 20-megapixel sensor. The Chinese firm has also included dual selfie cameras on the phone.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-158845 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Alleged-huawei-Nova-3.png?x44794" alt="" width="752" height="482" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Alleged-huawei-Nova-3.png 752w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Alleged-huawei-Nova-3-300x192.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 752px) 100vw, 752px" /></p>

<p>The Kirin 670 chipset is powering the smartphone along with 4 GB of RAM. Its internal storage is 64 GB. It is also speculated to feature a 3.5mm audio jack. Its 3,340mAh battery is expected to carry support for 18W fast charging.</p>
<p>Like other Nova branded phones, the rumored Nova 2s / Nova 3 is also expected to be targeted towards the youth. Speculations are rife that the smartphone may be announced in the next month with a starting price of 2,499 Yuan (~$377).</p>

However, that doesn&#8217;t have to be the case.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-158569" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Aurora-featured.png?x44794" alt="Aurora Smartphone" width="1171" height="747" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Aurora-featured.png 1171w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Aurora-featured-300x191.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Aurora-featured-768x490.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Aurora-featured-1024x653.png 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1171px) 100vw, 1171px" /></p>
<p>Images of a new full-screen phone has surfaced online but this is different from others as it has a front-mounted fingerprint scanner.</p>
<p>The display has the same 18:9 aspect ratio we have come to see in so many flagships. But even with the smaller lower bezel which has been reduced to billboards for the manufacturer&#8217;s name in some other phones, this one manages to squeeze in a physical home button/fingerprint scanner. The top bezel holds a front camera, sensor and earpiece.</p>
<p>The back of the phone is equally interesting. It has dual cameras which are raised, and employs the U-antenna design. While the name on the back reads “Aurora”, some sources say it is the Huawei P11 Plus. Some have also said it is Huawei the Nova 3.</p>
<p>There is no proof that it is any of the two devices mentioned above, so we advice you take it with a pinch of salt.</p>
<p>Apart from the dual cameras and front fingerprint scanner, the phone has a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom. There is also what appears to be an IR blaster at the top alongside a secondary microphone.</p>

<p>If you like phones with full-screen displays but don&#8217;t want to sacrifice the front positioned fingerprint scanner, you may want to keep an eye on this device in the coming weeks.</p>
