Cheapest Way To Buy The WaterProof Cubot X10 With MT6592 & 2GB RAM

cubot x10 06

Cubot has come a long way since it first started selling smartphones and its new Cubot X10 handset is one of the best looking models in the market right now. The device boasts of a beautiful design with round edges and a super slim 7.3mm body, making it stand out from the crowd. Despite its attractive design, the real highlight of the phone is its waterproof nature. In fact, the company claims that this is the slimmest water proof phone in the world.

cubot x10 02

As for the specs, the phone comes with a decent MT6592 octa-core chip clocked at 1.4Ghz. While, this isn’t the latest or the fastest chip we have seen from Mediatek, its good enough to handle anything you throw at it with ease. The 2GB RAM should definitely help out in multi-tasking on the device smoothly.

cubot x10 01

The display up front is of 5.5-inches with 1280 x 720p resolution,  which is quite the standard among mid-range phablets. At the back, there will be a 13MP shooter while on the front, there is a 8MP camera. There will be 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via MicroSD. The 2400mAh, although a bit smaller than competitors should be able to give about a day’s usage. As for software, the phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

cubot x10 03

One disadvantage though is the lack of 4G LTE support. Most phones come with this high speed connectivity, which is why this could be considered as a drawback. However, if you don’t mind HSPA+ speeds, then this phone is definitely a good buy, especially for those who want something that looks attractive too.

cubot x10 04

Usually, the phone sells around $170+ via online retail stores, but today, we have got a coupon which reduces the price to just $155.99. Yes, Focal Price is offering the device for the above mentioned price, thanks to the coupon: X10.

Gionee Elife S8 Leaked In A Video: Fingerprint Sensor & 23MP Cam In All Metal Body

We have been hearing a lot about the upcoming Gionee Elife S8 flagship, thanks to the numerous leaks and even a TENAA listing. Now, the same phone has finally ended up in front of the camera.

gionee e8 video 01

Earlier today, we came across a new video which shows of the new Gionee Elife S8 in full glory. The device shown in the video looks exactly like the one from the leaked pictures. You can particularly see that the phone features an all metal design.

gionee e8 video 03

Talking more about the design, the phone looks quite slim, but that’s mainly because of its large profile. In reality, TENAA listing revealed that the phone will measure 9.6mm which is much thicker than the average flagships in the market right now. You can also see the fingerprint sensor at the back, just below the camera unit and a dedicated camera button.

gionee e8 video 04

This button once again proves that the company wants this phone to be known for its camera, which is expected to be of an impressive 23MP. Gionee itself has said that the phone will be able to take up to 100MP pictures in resolution, which will be a first for the smartphone camera. The video further shows that the back is removable, but the 3250mAh battery will be built in. So, you can only change MicroSD and SIM cards once you open up the cover.

TENAA has already given us an idea about the specs of the Gionee S8. So, it will feature MT6795 Helio X10 octa-core chip with 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. There will be a 23MP cam at the back along with a 8MP front facing shooter. As for the display, expect a 6-inch screen with 2K resolution. Finally, for software, the phone will run on Android 5.0 with the company’s own Amigo 3.0 UI on top.

Overall, the Gionee elife S8 turns out to be a great phone, especially for those who are looking for a giant phablet. However, we hope that the company will price it appropriately.

Check Out The Official Meizu M2 Note Camera Samples

Meizu announced the M2 Note earlier this week. The device comes with a number of upgrades, including a MicroSD card slot, physical home button and a slightly slimmer body. Although the company retained the same 13MP rear camera on the device, the ISP has been improved to deliver faster focus speeds and better performance.

Earlier today, Meizu released a few camera samples from the Meizu M2 Note and they look quite good for a 799 Yuan smartphone. You can see the samples from both the front and the rear camera. The front camera produced very good selfies, which were clear and bright. The same goes with the 13MP rear shooter which managed to click impressive shots. The picture of the sushi that you can see below came out quite well. There is no visible noise, color reproduction is good and image is clear.

m2 note camera sample 03

As for the night time shot, even that came out quite good. You can see that the camera managed to click a decent image despite the numerous lighting sources that were in the shot. Of course, the picture isn’t highly detailed, but given that the phone costs just 799 Yuan, we can’t really expect anything more than this.

Also remember that these are the official camera samples, which are usually much better than the ones that a normal user would click. So, although these images look good, we can only tell the real camera performance when we review it ourselves.

Doogee X1 May Feature MT6755, Bezelless Display And Eye Recognition At Just $99

Doogee has been coming up with cost effective smartphones in the past few months. In fact, there are two interesting launches coming up, one of the Doogee F3 and the other, the Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Pro.

But it looks like the company may have another important release by August this year. A new leak states that Doogee is developing a new smartphone called as the Doogee X1, which will reportedly feature a bezelless display. Yes, you heard it right! This low cost Chinese manufacturer is said to be releasing a no bezel design phone, that too at a price tag of just $99.

doogee-x1-1

What’s more, the Doogee X1 is rumored to come with a lot of other top-end features such as wireless charging and even eye recognition. As for the processor, the phone will reportedly feature the brand new MT6755 octa-core chip. The leak also says that there will be another version with MT6753 under the hood. The overall package really looks like a crazy deal which makes it extremely hard to believe. At $99, its rather impossible to incorporate these many high-end technologies but lets wait and watch if Doogee manages to achieve this feat.

doogee-x1-2

The leak states nothing about the RAM, screen size or the camera, but the resolution should be Full HD and you can expect 2.5D glass. Also, the battery is said to be around 3500mAh. Naturally, from what we know till now, Doogee X1 looks like a flagship model. So, its hard to believe that the company will price it at just $99. Maybe, like Elephone, it is planning to release limited number of phones at this price. But as of now, we can’t really say anything, so its better to wait and watch what Doogee has in store for us.

Elephone S2 and S2 Plus to go on pre-sale tomorrow 5/6/2015

S2_photos_3I have just received word that the Elephone S2 and S2 Plus phones will be available on pre-sale tomorrow (5/6/2015).

S2 and S2 plus Pre-Sale

The S2 features a 5″ HD screen and is powered by a Mediatek MT6735 SOC with a Mali-T720 GPU, the phone has 2gb ram and 16gb rom and support for up to 32gb micro sd cards and dual sim (FDD/WCDMA/GSM)

The phones dimensions are 143mm x 70mm x 6.8mm so it should be a fairly slim phone, the battery is a non removable 2100mAh Li-POL unit, hopefully the fact the phone only has an HD screen and that the MT6735 is running Android 5.1 battery life should still be ok for a day of usage.

S2_photos_2The S2 Plus features a 5.5″ HD screen and is powered by a Mediatek MT6735 SOC with a Mali-T720 GPU, the phone has 2gb ram and 16gb rom and support for up to 32gb micro sd cards and dual sim (FDD/WCDMA/GSM)

The phones dimensions are 153mm x 77mm x 6.9mm only slightly thicker than the S2 phone, the battery is a non removable 2600mAh Li-POL unit, again I hope the fact the phone only has an HD screen and that the MT6735 is running Android 5.1 battery life will be ok for a day of usage.

Style wise the phones features an alloy chassis with tempered glass on both the front and rear of the phone, the front screen is 2.5d making it look very slick.

S2_photos_1Elephone have tried something new with the rear of the phones, a diamond cut texture to the rear of the glass to refract the light like a sapphire.

Meizu MX5 Leaked Extensively: Spotted In A Video + TENAA Pictures Revealed

Just yesterday, we found two new models on TENAA which we thought could be of the Meizu MX5 flagship. However, at that time, the Chinese certification website had no images of the device.

mx5 tenaa 02

Now, 24 hours later, TENAA has uploaded the pictures of the MX5 flagship and the model looks quite close to the renders that we have seen recently. The pictures reveal a all metal design, with a thin body and super slim bezels. You can see that the camera is protruding from the back, which usually is not considered as a good design, but it could be because of the rumored powerful sensor with 4X Optical zoom.

Another important change is the home button. It looks like the company will continue the tradition of a physical oval shaped home button on its upcoming devices, as this model too has the button. However, being a flagship, it could feature a fingerprint sensor.

mx5 new 01

Just a few minutes after the MX5 flagship pictures were found on the TENAA  website, we also came across a video which showed off the device in full glory. In fact, the device in the video was exactly the same as the one that we see in the pictures above, further confirming that its the MX5 flagship.

You can once again see the all metal body and the super thin design in the video. As for the specs, the phone will reportedly come with an octa-core 2.3GHz chipset and 3GB RAM with 16GB of expandable storage. There will be a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display up front. As for the camera, it is said that there will be a 20MP rear camera along with a 3MP front facing shooter. The rear camera could support up to 4X optical zoom. At the back, finally there will be a 3150mAh battery and it will run on the new Android 5.0 OS based on Flyme 4.5. Earlier today, the same models passed National 3C certification which showed that it will support fast charge too.

Xiaomi Ranks Second In Wearable Shipments For Q1 2015

Xiaomi has been growing rapidly in the past two years and its evident from the numerous new launches that we have seen lately. While the company’s major focus in on the smartphone market, it does have numerous other products. One of those is the Xiaomi Mi Band, which is the company’s wearable product.

xiaomi mi band

Like always, Xiaomi used extremely cheap pricing to attract first time wearable customers and looks like the strategy has paid off. According to IDC, Xiaomi was the second biggest wearable manufacturer in the first quarter of 2015.

IDC wearable shipments

According to the research firm, the company managed to sell over 2.8 million units in the first quarter alone, capturing about 24.6 percent of the market share. Fitbit was the only other wearable manufacturer who outdid Xiaomi in terms of wearable sales, shipping around 3.9 million units with a market share of 34.2 percent.

Interestingly, apart from these two, all other fendors are way below, both in terms of market share as well as shipments. In fact, Garmin who bags the third place has a market share of just 6.1 percent, followed by Samsung with 5.3 percent. At the fifth place lies Jawbone with 4.4 percent and all other wearable vendors including established names like Pebble come in the “Others” category.

This year, a total of 11.4 million units of wearables were shipped in the first quarter. When you compare the same quarter in 2014, only 3.8 million wearables were shipped in total.

Of course, this data represents only the first quarter of the year, when Apple Watch had yet to debut. But in the coming quarters, we may see a few changes in the table, as Apple Watch start to sell in big numbers.

Elephone P7000 Unboxing Video And First Impress

I received my gold Elephone P7000 review phone yesterday and have put together a quick unboxing video.

So far its a nice looking phone and I am impressed by the feel of the phone, it does not feel as large in the hand as the dimensions would make it sound, especially the phones thickness (due to the curvature of the rear panel).

The kit supplied in the box is also a nice surprise, it comes with a plastic screen saver already installed as well as a second plastic screen saver in the box, but also included is a tempered glass screen protector (these offer better protection and are optically clearer than the plastic ones) and a flip case that has a circular screen opening that shows a nice analogue like watch face when closed.

I will do a full review shortly once I have had time to play with the phone properly.

TCL P650M Spotted With Samsung Exynos 7580 SoC On GFXBench

We often find a lot of unannounced smartphones on GFXbench and earlier today, we spotted a new TCL smartphone on the benchmarking website. One of the surprises of the GFXbench listing was the processor that was running on the TCL P650M model, namely the Exynos 7580.

tcl p650m geekbench

We haven’t seen Exynos processor on many non-Samsung phones, but it looks like the South Korean giant could now be supplying its home made chipsets to other manufacturers as well. We have already seen the Meizu MX4 Pro feature a powerful Exynos chip and it looks like another Chinese manufacturer is ready to use Samsung’s chips.

GFXbench reveals that the TCL P650M will come with the Exynos 7580 octa-core chipset under the hood with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage. At the back, there will be a 13MP camera while up front, you can find a 5MP shooter. The display will be of 5.6-inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Naturally, being a new device, it runs on the new Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

We don’t really know much about the 7580 chipset and its actually interesting to see that the chipset runs at just 1.6GHz. Hopefully, we will get more information in the coming days.

LeTV Developing A Portable 3D IMAX Private Cinema Headset

LeTV managed to surprise everyone by launching a trio of smartphones back in April. The company had also revealed its interest in the VR industry and today, we have got news that LeTV is busy developing its own Portable 3D IMAX Private Cinema Headset.

letv 3D IMAX Headset

COO of LeTV, Liang said that the company is working on such a 3D IMAX headset, which will consist of a lightweight IMAX quality headset and the smartphone as the 3D video source. The 3D screen set and the sound equipment will be directly integrated into the light weight headset. The smartphone will be used as the video source to deliver an IMAX like experience. It is even said that this 3D VR headset will support short-sighted users.

As for the content, the company has its own R&D as well as good ties with game developers who can provide resources for this headset. So, finding 3D and 4K content for the device won’t be a big problem.

You can expect to at least see a prototype version of this 3D IMAX headset by the third quarter of 2015. Pretty interesting right? We just hope that its price is decent.

In the mean time, you can check out our LeTV One full review!

Meizu MX5 Gets The National 3C Certification, Supports Fast Charging

Just yesterday we came across two possible models of the upcoming Meizu MX5 flagship. The models namely M575M and M575U were both listed on TENAA with some specs details. Now, both the devices has received the Nation 3C Certification.

meizu mx5 certification 01

This certification also reveals that the Meizu MX5 will support high-voltage fast charging technology. One of the documents show that both the models, M575M and M575U will support fast charging. However, if this is true, then we wonder if the chipset inside is really Helio X10. The listing didn’t specify the name of the chip, but only mentioned that the phone will be powered by an octa-core 2.3GHz chipset. With support for fast charging, it could also be a different Mediatek processor.

Of course, we still haven’t confirmed that these two models are Meizu MX5, but given their specs and the timing of certification, it should logically be the next Meizu flagship device.

mx5 03

Yesterday’s TENAA listing revealed that the phone will feature a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display with a 2.3GHz octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. There will be a 20MP camera at the back along with a 3MP front facing shooter.

Meizu is expected to release the device before the end of this month, so stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.

Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Pro Leaked With MT6735, 2GB RAM and Android 5.1

Just a couple of days back, our source revealed a lot of new information about the upcoming Doogee F3 smartphone. The device looked quite good and was powered by an octa-core 64-bit chip. Now, our source has revealed some more information about another Doogee device, this time, the Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Pro.

doogee valencia2 01

The new Doogee device will reportedly come with a slightly curved metal back. Up front, there will be a 5-inch display with 720p resolution screen and covered by 2.5D glass. What’s more, the screen will be protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass panel, so you don’t have to worry about scratches or damages.

doogee valencia2 02

The Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Pro will be placed below the F3, so it will feature a slightly less powerful MT6735 quad-core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz. There will be 2GB RAM on board with 16GB of storage further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD.

doogee valencia2 03

As for the camera, there will be a 13MP shooter with LED flash and an 8MP front facing camera. The battery will be of 2200mAh capacity. The Y100 Pro runs on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop version right out of the box and will support high speed 4G LTE networks as well. It is even said that the company may port CM12.1 or MIUI6 OS to the device.

doogee valencia2 04

Overall, the Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Pro looks like a great device, with its solid metal back and a well protected 2.5D glass front. The best part of the device is its price tag, as the company will release the device on June 25 for an impressive price tag of just $119.99.

This Could Be The Meizu MX5 Flagship That Hit TENAA Featuring An Octa-Core 2.3Ghz Chipset

Just yesterday, Meizu unveiled its brand new smartphone in the Blue Charm lineup called as the Meizu M2 Note. The phone sits between the entry level Meizu M1 Mini and the slightly better Meizu M1 Note.

But these are new models in a series that was just launched in December last year. The actual flagship lineup is the company’s MX series and its almost time to see the new model.

It looks like Meizu could be preparing for the launch of the MX5 soon as two new models, with identical specifications but different network connectivity have just been spotted on TENAA. The models numbers of these two Meizu devices are M575M and M575U and they feature pretty high-end specs, which makes us believe that this could be the Meizu MX5 flagship. The first one is the China Mobile version while the other is the China Unicom version.

According to the listing, the M575M and M575U models feature a 5.5-inch display with a body measuring 146×74.6×7.9mm and weighing just 147  grams. In comparison, the Meizu MX4 flagship came with a 5.36-inch display and a thicker 8.9mm body. The weight was the same as this model.

The display will be AMOLED panel with full HD 1080p resolution. As for the processor, there’s an octa-core 2.3Ghz chipset under the hood, most probably Mediatek’s Helio X10. There will be 3GB RAM on board with 16GB of non-expandable storage. There will be a 20MP rear facing camera along with just 3MP front facing one.

Unfortunately, TENAA did not reveal the images of the upcoming handset. So, at present, the leaked renders are the only images that we have of the MX5.

You can check out the leaked renders from down below.

Huawei Honor 7 Confirmed to Feature Fingerprint Sensor, thanks to TENAA listing

Huawei has been releasing a number of interesting handsets in the past few months. The notable ones include the Huawei P8 and P8 Max along with the Honor 4C. Now, its almost time of the next generation model of the Honor 6 handset and it looks like the new Honor 7 has just hit TENAA.

Honor 7 01

A Huawei device with the model name PLK-AL10 hit the Chinese Network Certification Agency, TENAA late last month. From the images that’s listed on the website, it looks like the earlier leaked pictures were bang on target.

huawei-honor7-plus-leak-back-picture-01
Earlier leaked image of the Honor 7

The images reveal a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device, just below the camera unit. And it looks exactly like the leaked images with an all metal body that we saw a few weeks back. So, its quite likely that this is the Honor 7 model which will meet us before the end of this month.

Honor 7 02

While TENAA fails to reveal much about the listed device, it confirms the fingerprint sensor as well as the 4G LTE network connectivity. The supported network bands by this PLK-AL10 model are as follows: TD-LTE, FDD-LTE, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, CDMA2000, CDMA 1X and GSM.

Thanks to an earlier leak, we have an idea about the specifications of the Honor 7. It is said that the phone will feature the company’s Kirin 935 chipset along with two RAM options. Actually, there will be two models, one standard model and the other high-end edition. The standard model will feature 3GB RAM and 16GB storage while the high-end model will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There will be a 13MP camera at the back and a 3280mAh battery. The screen size is expected to be the same as the Honor 6, i..e 5-inch with full HD 1080p resolution.

The company has confirmed an announcement on June 8, which is less than a week away. It could be related to Honor 7, so stay tuned. As for the pricing, expect the Honor 7 to retail at a starting price of 1999 Yuan which comes to around $322.

OPPO A51 hits TENAA With a Glass Back and Snapdragon 410

OPPO’s latest device has just hit TENAA. The OPPO A51 like its name suggests will most likely be a part of the company’s good looking lower mid-range A series lineup. From the listing, we can see that the device features modest specs and is most likely targeted to compete with the likes of other entry level handsets in the market.

OPPO a51 01

The OPPO A51 unsurprisingly takes its design inspiration from OPPO A31 budget device that we saw a few months back. The back features a glass design like the A31 which also means that the battery will be non-removable. However, in the specs department, the A51 does bring some improvements.

Under the hood, you get the same Snapdragon 410 processor as the A31 but it comes with 2GB RAM instead of just 1GB. The storage is also bumped up to 16GB. However, the camera remains the same. So, you get an 8MP shooter at the back with LED flash along with a 5MP front facing camera.

Another important improvement is the size of the display. The screen is now of 5-inches with an improved resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Even in the battery department, the OPPO A51 is better with a 2420mAh capacity battery instead of just 2000mAh on the A31. The phone also supports 4G TD-LTE networks.

Since, the OPPO A31 is priced at 999 Yuan, its more than likely that this device will retail for a much higher price. Expect it to be around 1299 Yuan when the company finally makes it official.

Xiaomi Unveils A Night Vision Edition Of The Xiaomi Yi Camera, Costs 149 Yuan

A few months back, Xiaomi surprised everyone by unveiling a super cheap camera called as the Xiaomi Yi Camera. The device was aimed to compete with the likes of GoPros, but at a much cheaper price tag.

xiaomi yi camera night edition

Now, the company has released a brand new edition of the Xiaomi Yi Camera, called as the Night Vision Edition. The new camera will be capable of taking clear pictures even at night thanks to its 940mm infrared camera sensor. The device will not flash any light while taking pictures which means others won’t be disturbed by the camera.

As for the design, the company decided to go with the exact same body as the Yi camera, so there are hardly any differences between the two. Only the infrared sensor is an addition, and you can get this edition for just 149 Yuan ($25). This is the same as the launch price of the Yi Camera. As for the regular Xiaomi Yi Camera, it is now available for just 129 Yuan ($21). But its actually hard to get hold of the device at this price because the device is in short supply.

The Xiaomi Yi Camera Night Vision Edition will go on sale from June 4 via the company’s official store.

Disappointing! Meizu M2 Note scores less than 32K on AnTuTu

meizu m2 note 01

Its just been a few hours since Meizu made the M2 Note official and we already have the AnTuTu benchmark scores of the device. The company has made a number of changes in terms of specs as well as design on the new phone, and naturally that has resulted into a change in the performance.

meizu m2 note antutu

The original Meizu M1 Note featured the fast octa-core 64-bit MT6752 chip, which powers most upper mid-range phones these days. However, with this device, the company decided to go with MT6753 that supports even CDMA networks required for China Unicom. But for the additional connectivity, you have to sacrifice on the clock speed of the cores, as the Cortex A53 cores inside this chip is clocked at just 1.3GHz instead of 1.7GHz on the MT6752.

meizu m2 note antutu 02

This naturally translates into lower performance than the Meizu M1 Note. In the AnTuTu benchmark test conducted by a Chinese website, the M2 Note powered by MT6753 managed to score less than 32,000 points. This is much lesser than the near 40K that the M1 Note manages to score in the same test. Interestingly, the phone’s little brother, Meizu M1 Note Mini actually manages to score around 31K on the test, that too powered by a quad-core MT6732 chipset with 1GB RAM.

Other than the processor, the internals are more or less the same. One important addition is the MicroSD card slot, which was absent from the previous model. Other specs, like 13MP + 5MP cameras, and 5.5-inch full HD display remains the same.

So, with this low performing chip, its not really surprising to see the device priced at less than 1000 Yuan. Meizu M2 Note starts at just 799 Yuan, which is just 100 Yuan more than the M1 Mini. So, this phone kind of sits between the two models in terms of performance.

Meizu M2 Note Is Official With MT6753, SD Card slot and Cheaper Pricetag

The much awaited phone of the month is finally official! Meizu has unveiled the Meizu M2 Note, which brings a lot of much needed upgrade to the existing Meizu M1 Note edition. Its hardly been six months since we saw the first model in the company’s Blue Charm series and within this short span, this will mark the third launch in the lineup.

meizu m2 note 01

The Meizu M2 Note continues with the same unibody design as the existing version, but is now slightly thinner (by 0.2mm) and comes with a beautiful grey matte finish that we saw in the leaked pictures. The weight is slightly increased to 149 grams, but that’s should make much difference.

meizu m2 note 02

The biggest change in the design is the new physical home button, just below the display. Its the same oval shaped button that we saw in the leaked images a few days back. The company adds that you can tap to return or press to go back to home. You also get the power button on the right side, instead of the top.

meizu m2 note 04

What’s more, in the specs front too, Meizu has made some interesting changes on the new device. It comes with the MT6753 octa-core chip clocked at 1.3GHz along with 2GB RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. You get the same 5.5-inch full HD 1080p screen with IGZO display technology (low power consuming tech) on the device. This translates into an impressive pixel density of 403 ppi. The interal storage remains at 16GB but you can now expand it up to 128GB via MicroSD. This was a well needed upgrade for the device.

RELATED: Meizu M2 Note AnTuTu Benchmark Results Revealed

meizu m2 note 05

The phone supports both TD-LTE and FDD-LTE, translating into support for 5 network types across 13 frequencies. It supports dual SIM dual Standby and dual 4G. There will be the same 13MP camera at the back, but an improved ISP should ensure better camera performance. The front camera remains the same as the existing M1 Note, i.e. 5MP with beauty mode. The Meizu M2 Note comes with a 3100mAh battery supplied by Sony. It will run on the Android 5.0 based Flyme 4.5 UI.

meizu m2 note 03

Now, you must be wondering with a few changes in the device, the Meizu M2 Note will cost more than the M1 Note. However, the company has managed to surprise everyone by pricing it lower than the MT6752 powered M1 Note.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIWcPILjUt8

MSTAR S700 recently went on sale on a number of leading e-commerce websites. Initially the device was available for purchase for as low as $139, which was a steal price. However, now you can buy the device for $169, which is still a great price considering the specs on the device.

The MSTAR S700 is powered by the octa-core 64-bit MT6752 processor which is known to perform well. As a result, it wasn’t a surprise when we found that the phone scored well over 45K on AnTuTu. To be precise, the S700 got 45220 which is much greater than the Snapdragon powered OnePlus One and even other high-end flagships like Mate 7. Clearly, the new processor manages to outrank many great Snapdragon powered flagships.

Other specs include 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is 13MP camera at the back along with 5MP front shooter. A 5.5-inch 720p display lies on the front. As for the battery, the phone will come with a large 3000mAh capacity battery pack, enough for a day’s usage. Finally, a rear placed fingerprint sensor and a Android 5.0 makes this phone one of the best value for money devices in the market right now.

New Zeaplus M7 Coming Mid June (UPDATED WITH NEW IMAGES)

zeaplus-m7-001

There is another flagship phone coming to the market mid June, this time from Zeaplus.

The phone specs look good as does the styling featuring 2.5d front glass and metal chassis with rounded corners that follow the screens radius, we are yet to see the rear of the phone but hopefully it will have clean smooth lines like the front.

I have just received more images that show the back to be textured with a nice curvature that looks like it will make the phone very easy to hold without fear of dropping it whilst encasing the 3800mAh battery.

The more I see of this phone the more I am liking the styling, its great to see that China phone companies are now giving us the larger batteries that we have been asking for without sacrificing style.
