For the past few days, thanks to the numerous leaks, we have known that HTC will unveil another version of the upcoming HTC One E9 called as the HTC One E9 Plus. While we have already seen some images of the handset before launch, today, team Ubuntu who are well known for leaking upcoming phone released a set of pictures which look like the official press images of the HTC One E9 Plus.

From the pictures, we can see that the device shown by Upleaks yesterday is exactly the same as this. The phone will be relatively larger than the E9, which is rumored to be around 5-inches in size. The E9 Plus will sport a two tone color design with a beautiful gold colored metal frame. However, other than that the phone’s body will be made of plastic. You can see that the images explain each feature of the device, which unfortunately is in Chinese.

As for the specs, the HTC One E9 Plus will reportedly come with MT6795 octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. There will be a 5.5-inch display with 2K resolution. The rear camera will be of 20.7MP while the front shooter will be the same 4MP Ultrapixel sensor unit as the One M9. Sense 7 will be a big part of the phone’s software running on top of Android 5.0.2. So, expect features such as blinkfeed, new themes etc on the device like the flagship HTC One M9.

The pricing of the E9 Plus is said to be around 2999 Yuan ($482) while the One E9 is expected to retail between 2499 to 2699 Yuan.

HTC has officially announced that it will release a dual-SIM variant of its flagship – HTC One. This HTC One (M8) Dual SIM will be available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, starting from next week. It will be priced at €799, with the single-SIM HTC One (M8) priced at €570.

Besides the dual-SIM feature, HTC One (M8) Dual SIM has the same specifications as its single-SIM variant. They are both equipped with a 5-inch display, powered by the Snapdragon801 processor and run on Android Kitkat with its Sense 6.0 UI. However, for photo lovers, the selling point of HTC One (M8), both single-SIM or dual-SIM, should be its dual rear cameras, including a 4-UltraPixel camera and a depth sensing camera.

It is likely that HTC One (M8) Dual SIM will come only in the color of Gunmetal Grey. HTC does not say whether this dual-SIM flagship smartphone will come to other countries, but we are sure that it will be available soon in Russia and will not make it in the US.

HTC is the first handset manufacturer which ready to update their system to the newer version, HTC is the first manufacturer to uses Android 4.4 KitKat and now they also ready to brings Android L in their devices.

HTC said “Our approach will be the same with the Android L release from Google. This release promises to bring new features and tools to Android and we are excited to bring it to you and your HTC. As part of our HTC Advantage commitment globally, we pledge to update all of our HTC One (M8) and HTC One (M7) smartphones within 90 days of receiving final software from Google.”

HTC promises that the upgrade for both flagship handsets will be done in less than 90 days after they receive the final version of Google. This is a commitment in the HTC Advantage program globally.

For information, HTC smartphones M7 has recently obtained KitKat 4.4 Android update that comes with the HTC Sense UI 6.0 in May. While the latest smartphone HTC One M8 was launched with the Android OS 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the box.

Both phone is targeting for mid-range phone but the HTC One Mini 2 is look more elegant with metal body cover while the Desire 816 is use plastic body cover.

The software on both phone is look identical, but the Desire 816 has more larger size than HTC One Mini 2. Both the Desire and the mini have 720p screens, but thanks to the smaller size of the mini, it wins out in picture quality: 326ppi compared to the Desire’s 267ppi.

The new HTC One E8 has the similar configuration with the HTC One M8, but the E8 is using the plastic body rather than a metal. The HTC One E8 is packs with 5 inch screen size with 1080p Super LCD3 screen, equipped with 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, sports with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, the phone is also has microSD expansion slot that support for up to 128GB SD card,

The phone is also providing a 13 megapixel rear facing camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, and powereing up with 2600mAh battery capacity, running Sense 6 UI on Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system, support for 4G network, while the other versions will also support for dual sim dual standby.

Compared to M8, the new E8 uses the more rounded plastic shell, and the body is more lighter with dropped 15g of weight than M8. Of course, the original BoomSound speaker has been retained, and this is very awesome.

The phone is available in various color such as black, red, blue and silver. The HTC One E8 is ready to officially started selling this month, according to foreign website, the phone will be available with 2,799 yuan or about $450 USD price tag per unit.

The grapevine is that HTC One Mini 2 may not retain its unofficial status for much longer. The new arrival, Compact Premium Smart phones are replacing them thanks to evleaks.

HTC has released an update which was scheduled to be launched along with mobile HTC One (M8). The update has a feature called Extreme Power Saving.  Now, the feature will be available to mass audience thanks to feature release. This will be available to the developers and unlocked HTC mobile phones.

Although the size has been increased to 117.98 MB but the Android version is the same. The Magnum Opus of the launch is the feature called “Extreme Power Saving Mode”, which keeps the mobile on the go for longer duration. There are some modification in “the camera and gallery feature” albeit not extended much.

If you have HTC, go to settings > About to check for updates or wait for the notiifcation. This may take some time and you may have to wait. Please tell your opinion after using the phone.

For HTC One M8 that sold in Asian reagion, HTC has uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974 AC variant with 2,5Ghz clock speed, while for US, Europe, Middle East and dan Africa (US-EMEA), HTC is uses AB variant that has 2,3Ghz clock speed.

In theory, with the more higher clcok-speed, the HTC that sold in Asia has more speed that US-EMEA version. But the recent benchmark test show that the US-EMEA version has got higher score point that the Asia version.

HTC back with experiment in their new mobile phone and now they trying to make a dual camera on the upcoming HTC All New One smartphone or also known as HTC One 2.

But the dual-camera function is still a mistery since there is no detail information abaout ow those camera works. And now we found the article from Telstra documents that show the dual-camera that sports in the new HTC smartphone will offers the high quality image that similar with DSLR camera.

Reported by GSMArena , dual-rear camera on the All New HTC One is called as ‘Duo Camera’. The camera is allow users to select the focus point and make a bokeh effect. The camera is also able to produce a 3D effect. Previously HTC already has 3D camera effect on HTC Evo 3D a fews years ago.

The phone is also has re-focus features, this feature is similar to Nokia flagship phone, Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, and LG G Pro 2. This feature allows the change of the focal point after the image of the object is taken.

HTC Duo camera lets you take a photo and then refocus after the photo was taken to blur the background or foreground, as you do on SLR cameras.

There is the news earlier that HCT is ready to addopt MediaTek chipset in their products. HTC is planning to using mediaTek processor for low-end smartphone lineup, but some mid-end HTC’s smartphone is also possible to using the MediaTek processor.

According to smartphone Industry Analyst, Pan Jiutang. He revealed on the microblogging site that the Wingtech have received eight-core HTC smartphones (MTK6592M) of ODM orders, which means that HTC will launch the eight-core processor equipped with MTK models .

As we are more concerned about the phone price, previously there is leaked information that phone sill offers with 6,298 Hong Kong dollars, or about 4,967 yuan or so. China Mobile version of the HTC 8088 is rumored to have price of 4,999 yuan, Taiwan’s version than about 4950 yuan or so price is slightly more expensive.
