From all the leaks that have been going around on the internet in the past few days, the Gionee Elife E8 is turning out to be quite a powerful device. We have seen some unofficial renders leaked earlier which showed of the beautiful all metal frame of the device. Even Gionee revealed a few powerful details about its upcoming flagship via its Weibo account in the past few days.
The Gionee Elife E8 is said to come with a original lossless zoom, which should take detailed pictures with negligible loss in quality. The company revealed via its Weibo account that the phone will be able to capture every little detail with its lossless zoom camera.
The company has already officially revealed that the phone will have the world’s fastest mobile imaging unit, with super fast phase focusing and closed loop motor. In a couple of teaser posters, the company tries to explain that the phone can even capture ultra fast activities like an objects splashing in water.
The Gionee Elife E8 is said to sport an all metal body with a dedicated camera button and a rear placed fingerprint sensor. Its 23MP camera unit reportedly takes pictures up to 100MP in resolution, a first for a smartphone camera. Other specs include MT6795, 3GB RAM, 2K display and a large 3250mAh battery.
Overall, the phone looks like a pretty good package. We expect more details from the company pretty soon.
The Elephone P4000 currently on pre sale until 30th May for just $129.99 looks to be a decent spec phone for the money the features include.
A 4400mAh lithium ion polymer battery that is claimed can be fully charged in around 2 hours and thanks to low energy consumption standby time is up to 330 hours.
The phone also features 5V2A quick charging for quicker and safer charging Compared to standard phones, Elephone advise that it can be charged to 75% power in just 1.5 hours.
The P4000 features android 5.1 for improved stability, reduced power consumption, and an improved clean user interface. The P4000 features the Mediatek MT6735 64-bit and has dual SIM cards it works on FDD and TDD 4G modes as well as GSM bands.
The phone also features a Samsung rear camera that is supposed to make taking photos in low light a lot better giving more detail and less noise. The screen is 5″ HD 1280×720 resolution screen with up to 294 ppi, hopefully it will be a nice clear and bright unit, when the display is off the screen looks to have no bezels (when powered up the bezels become visible).
As mentioned above the phone comes with Android 5.0 installed, I hope that Elephone will continue to help devs bring other operating systems to their phones like they have with the P6000 and P7000 and their implementation of Cyanogenmod CM12.1

According to the latest reports, Meizu is busy preparing multiple products for launch in June. We already know that the company might release the Meizu Blue Charm Note 2 next month. But yesterday, a new certified Weibo account came up on the social networking site with the name Meizu Accessories and revealed four new posters for the June 2 conference.
The posters are teasers for four different products. The posters reveal that on June 2, the company will release products related to Wi-Fi (Meizu Router), charging (new power bank) and two other products, which could be a smart band and a fan. It looks like the company is following a similar trend to Xiaomi. So, we could see products which directly compete with Xiaomi’s existing product range.
June 2 is not too far away, so we expect more details pretty soon.

Zeaplus is one of those Chinese companies, which is not shy of taking a lot of inspiration from the well established companies and their products. However, the manufacturer seems to be putting a lot of effort in making quality products for a very low price. The Zeaplus has just announced a new gadget in their lineup – the Zeaplus Watch DM360.
You guess it right, it is a Motorola Moto 360 inspired smartwatch. Still, the device offers a variety of specs for the price of just $99.

Today we have smartphones, which are full of features and everything, but you have to admit that there is one particular department that lacks innovation – the battery. Indeed, manufacturers introduce various power management modes, chip makers produce some more power efficient processors. However, that does not seem to be enough.
Then the manufacturers decided to release models with huge battery capacity, which naturally helps having a better battery life. There have been many of tries, but it seems that quite unknown Chinese manufacturer Innos wants to take the stage with the biggest battery capacity ever – 6000mAh.
Actually, the company had its presence in MWC in Barcelona this year. Finally, the company released the device to the Chinese audience.
The Innos D6000 has the total battery capacity of 6000Ah. In order to achieve that, the manufacturer uses a unique “Double cell structure” technology. It comprises of two batteries, one being an internal carrying the 2480mAh capacity and another being an external replaceable 3520mAh juice pack. What is more, this great tech allows user to swap the external battery without shutting down the device (since the internal one is keeping the lights on). And yes, this works vice versa too.
The company asserts that this enormous battery will let the user enjoy 3-5 days of heavy use and more than 60 days of standby time.
In addition to this, manufacturer thought about the charging process too as the device uses a dual-channel intelligent polar or DuoCharge technology. It means that it uses the built-in chip with current allocation algorithms, which allow parallel charging of two batteries. Also, this tech is meant to reduce the heat while charging and prolong battery life.
As far as specs go, it is no slouch either. More precisely, it is a great mid-range device on paper. The Innos D6000 has a Japanese-made JDI 5.2-inch 1080p resolution screen (covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3). Furthermore, the device spots a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.8GHz octa-core chip, 3 GB of RAM, 32GB of storage (not clear if it expandable),dual SIM dual standby mode (both slots support 4G network on 20 different bands). As far as imaging capabilities go,the smartphone has a 16MP Omnivision sensor, which has F/2.2 aperture and 85 degrees angle lens. Also, there is a 5MP shooter on the front. As far as software goes, it runs Android 5.0 out of the box. Last but not least the device has dimensions of 144 × 72.2 × 11.9. Finally, it has the USB 3.1 Type-C connection port.
Innos D6000 was put on sale on company’s official website, but it seems that it is not working properly. Still, the device is said to hit the shelves in early June and it will cost just 1799 Yuan, which translates to just $290!
In addition, Innos revealed that the D6000 will have a Mediatek version (model number D6000m), which have just 2GB of RAM. This version is said to cost less than 1000 Yuan or $161!
The amazingly huge battery, great specs and decent looking design makes this device a steal for such a low price. There is no word on international availability or pricing, but we are pretty sure that the resellers will pick this one up as the 6000mAh battery will attract a lot of consumers. Any takers?
Mlais M7 is a big competitor of Ulefone Be Touch, they have similar specifications and price. The both has 5.5-inch HD screen, along with MTK MT6752 64-bit octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM, 13-megapixel sony rear camera. Now, we have got the benchmark scores from Mlais. Mlais M7 Antutu benchmark score is 48262, it is really good value as a high-end Android smartphone. The powerful 64-bit MTK MT6752 processor and 3GB RAM help the flagship gets the benefit and only has to handle the pixels of a 720HD display rather than a FHD panel which should give it a head start over the Elephone P7000.
Gionee is one of those Chinese manufacturers that some international users may have heard of. The company is know for producing very slim devices and at one point the manufacturer was even known for the slimmest device on the planet (Gionee Elife S 5.5 and 5.1).
This time around we are talking about the upcoming Gionee E8 as the alleged renders have leaked online. As the render suggests, we are seeing a very slim all-metal device, which comes in gold colour. In addition to this, the device may carry a powerful camera as it has a dedicated camera shutter button.
What is more, the upcoming Gionee E8 uses a 2K resolution Amoled display (the size unknown yet). Under the hood it spots MediaTek MT6795 octa-core chip (2.0GHz frequency), has 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage (no word on expandability). Moreover, the device carries a 23MP shooter on the back, which is allegedly capable of taking 100MP pictures! On the front, there is a respectable 8MP shooter. All of this hardware is powered by the Amigo 3.0 UI, which is based on the Android 5.0 Lolipop out of the box. The device has measurements of 164.0 × 82.3 × 9.6mm and weights 207g. Last but not least a built-in 3250mAh battery is running the show.
The new Gionee E8 shapes up to be a great device both inside and out. It offers a premium design with some awesome specs. There is no word on the availability neither in China nor internationally though. We will keep you posted for any updates on this exciting new device.
It seems that the Chinese smartphone industry is a bit crazy as far as extremely thin bezels go. Well, the craziness continue to the efforts of producing a true bezel less smartphone. It seems that so far the ZTE’s subtend Nubia has achieved the best result in the market with its top tier flagship device – Nubia Z9.
As usual, China was the first country to get this device as it was launched today. However, hot gadgets are becoming hard to get as Nubia Z9 was sold out in just 10 mins!
Besides being the closest implementation to the bezel less smartphone on the market, the Nubia Z9 carries some bleeding-edge specs. It comes with a 5.2 inches (74.0% screen-to-body ratio) 1080p display, a top-notch Snapdragon 810 chip (with some custom implementations to avoid the overheating issues), 32 GB of storage, 3 GB of RAM for the cheaper Classic edition or 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM for the Exclusive & Elite editions. What is more, the device has a 16MP/8MP camera combo on the back and front, respectively. The smartphone is powered by Android 5.0.2 Lolipop out of the box and the non-removable 2900 mAh battery is running the show.
The Zte Nubia Z9 prices start at 3499 Yuan (around $645) for Classic Edition, which is really expensive in such a cheap gadgets land as China. Still, bezel less display may be worth that money for a lot of Chinese.
So far it is hard to get this exciting smartphone via third-party resellers. However, some of them have already listed it for pre-order, but the prices are very steep, which exceed $630. One the other hand, the more cells you need to power up, the more time it takes. The solution is the quick charging technology, mostly touted by Oppo and Qualcomm. However, another chip maker Mediatek has some great news as it is ready to launch a new technology.
The company has introduced a Pump Express Plus fast charge technology, which supports its MT6595, MT6732 and newer chips.
According to Mediatek, the new technology will have 3 charging modes:
Normal mode : 5V – 1.67A (power of 8.35 watts)
Turbo 1 : 7V – 1.67A (power of 11.69 watts)
Turbo 2 : 9V – 1.67A (power of 15.03 watts)
It is not detailed how exactly these modes are going to be used, but the numbers look impressive. 5 minutes of charge should give you at least 2 hours of talk and 30 minutes will pump up your phone to more than 75%. Thus, this charging technology is said to enhance the charging speed by 45% over the conventional chargers.
We are waiting for the Oneplus two phone for long time, and today, the render pictures and main specs finally leaked on China weibo. The Weibo said, Oneplus Two will equip a 5.7-inch 2K display screen, and 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. The screen use a 2.5D panel looks like iPhone 6, along with 3300mAh battery, Oxygen OS base on Android 5.o OS.
Today, there is another news leaked from Geekbench, the model name is Oneplus A2001, powered 1.55 Qualcomm MSM8994 processor which also named Snapdragon 810, along with 3GB RAM. The benchmark scores seems is not good as Xiaomi Mi Note Pro. Maybe it is just an engineering sample.
When it comes to smartphone manufacturers you would probably not think about any of Russian-based tech companies. However, it seems that one of them is worth your attention – Yota Devices. The manufacturer managed to surprise a lot with the first dual-screen smartphone in the world. After some time, the company made a significant upgrade in terms of design and performance, and released the Yoataphone 2.
Right now the Russian seem confident about their product and enter such a hectic Chinese smartphone market.
As far as specs go, the Yotaphone 2 has a5-inch 1080p display on the front and back 4.7 inches 960 × 540 resolution electronic ink panel on the back. Moreover, it has a Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (non-expandable). Also, there is an 8MP/2MP camera combo on the back and the front, respectively. Android 4.4 Kitkat is running the show and the device is powered by 2500mAh non-removable battery.
The Yotaphone 2 will cost 4888 Yuan ($788) in China, which sounds really steep. However, the device should find some buyers as it is the only released device with LCD and E-ink displays in the world (Siswoo Darkmoon is not released yet).

After a lot of rumours and numerous leaks, the Chinese manufacture Oppo has finally released their beautiful all-metal Oppo R7 and R7 Plus devices. Both devices have an upper-midrange class specs, but the main aspect of both of the devices is the design.
Oppo R7
Let us start by the Oppo R7. It is a smaller model, which has a 1080p 5 inch display. It spots a metal unibody and the 2.5D glass on the front. It is indeed a very attractive looking device, which was a primary focus by Oppo while producing it.
The Oppo R7 spots a Snapdragon 615 chip, has 3 GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, which can be further expanded via the Micro SD card up to 128GB. There is also a dual SIM card tray (one being a micro SIM, another doubles as nano SIM/MicroSD card slot). Moreover, the smartphone has a 13 MP back camera with LED flash and aperture of f/2.2. Also, there is an 8MP shooter on the front with the aperture of f/2.4. All of this is powered by the 2320 mAh battery (non-removable), which may sound weak, but as usual to Oppo devices, it supports Oppo’s VOOC fast-charging technology, which lets you charge the device up to 75% in about 30 minutes of time.

Oppo R7 Plus
The Oppo R7 is a bigger brother, which carries a very similar design to the R7. This giant has all the same specs, but there are a few differences. Of course, the main difference here is that the R7 carries a much larger, 6 inch 1080p Super Amoled display. Another thing that separates it from the R7 is that it has a fingerprint scanner just below the back camera. Moreover, the bigger screen requires some more power and here Oppo decided to implement a juicy 4100 mAh non-removable unit.

The devices are up for pre-order and the good thing that it can be bought easily from Oppo’s official store Oppostyle.com. The Oppo R7 costs around $400 and the R7 Plus has the price-tag of around $480 for Chinese market, but we should expect similar prices on the international e-store.
Oppo seems to have nailed the design here by providing a classy all-metal and 2.5D glass combination. However, it does not carry the bleeding-edge specs for all those geeks out there. Do you remember the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro (K920)? Although it was released quite a while ago, it still packs some quite impressive specs. However, the first thing about this phone is its gorgeous all-metal industrial design.
The device comes in silver, gold and black colour options. Personally, I think that the gold colour looks amazing (or I may be influenced by that gold devices mania…).
The back of the device features a somewhat brushed metal finish. Also, there is a little area of glass, where a bit bulky 16MP camera (Samsung ISOCELL sensor) with OIS, 4k recording and dual LED flash sits.
On the front you can find an super large 6 inch display with 2K resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels and 490 ppi pixel density). Lenovo has done a great job keeping the phone size by cutting down the bezels.
That translates to the 78.3% screen-to-body ratio. Also, there is a 5MP front facing snapper, earpiece on the top. On the bottom you can find the familiar capacitive buttons.
But we wouldn’t buy a device just by it’s great design, build quality and 2K display. The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro runs one of the best Snapdragon chips of all time – 801 clocked at 2.5 GHz and accompanied by the Adreno 330 GPU. It may not be the newest chip on the block, but it still handles all the games without any hitch. So why bother with newer Snapdragon chip and possibly have overheating issues?
Also, there is a beefy 3GB of RAM for multitasking and 32GB for storing your stuff (however, there is no MicroSD card slot!!! Why, Lenovo? This could have made this device perfect at the time of the release!). Also, there is a dual SIM card support, global 4G and other usual connectivity options. All of this tech is powered by the 4000 mAh battery, which is sealed-in.

There has been a lot of hype about the upcoming LeTV “Superphones”, which are manufactured by the “Netflix of China” video services streamer. The company invested quite a lot for all the marketing and the CEO was not shy either by calling Apple an innovation Nazi. All the hype made many consumers interested in this newcomer and the Super Le Smartphones are on sale. Well, kind of.
We usually talk about the Xiaomi and their flash sales strategy. This time around, the LeTV smartphones went officially went on sale today and…. 200.000 units were gone in a blink of an eye! LeTV One Pro (2499 Yuan or around $400) was sold out in 1 second, LeTV One – in 3 minutes and 46 seconds! Previously, the company announced that there was a huge interest in their devices as there were more than 10 million users, who “reserved” a phone. Well, all we can say that the demand is extremely high!
It is also worth mentioning that LeTV has finally revealed the official price of the 6.33 inch giant phablet flagship – LeTV One Max. It will cost 3599 Yuan (around $580) in China. The online reservations for the Chinese customers have already started at 2 PM today and the open sale will start on June 12th at 12:00. However, due to the high demand the same story may repeat and the device may be sold out in a matter of seconds. This keeps us wondering of the point of the reservation system.
However, there is a catch. The above mentioned pricing is only for the limited number of the devices. On the other hand, the final retail price will be decided by “Referendum” (most likely online voting or something similar) at the beginning of June. That means that the price may go lower.
It seems that the LeTV takes some marketing clues from the Xiaomi and uses the flash sales tactics. At least for now. Another similarity is that they sell their devices almost at the cost (the company even disclosed BOM – Bill of Materials). However, the main point of LeTV’s strategy seems that they have a different primary focus – they want to sell services rather than hardware. Well, for now we are not interested in their services portfolio as they are Chinese-oriented. Still, we are very interested in the hardware and we cannot wait to see how the package of beautiful design and killer specs performs in real life scenarios. We cannot wait to provide you with the full review treatment of Le “Superphones” as soon as they land in our offices.
It seems that the resellers have already started picking LeTV devices up. As usual, the reseller prices are higher than in China, but still you get a killer device for a decent price. Merimobiles seem to be offering the lowest prices for now.

We are still waiting for the official release of the “Super Phones” made by the Chinese media giant LeTV. The company is a new to the smartphone industry, but made managed to attract a lot of hype to their lineup of Le Superphones – LeTV One, LeTV One Pro and LeTV One Max.
At the moment we know that the One Pro will be an all metal phone and it will come in silver and gold colour options. However, it seems that LeTV has some more offerings as the black variant of the latter device leaks in flesh and blood.
Honestly, the leak suggests that this is the One Pro model, but it is hard to tell since only the front of the device is exposed. Still, the more colour options to choose from the better. Anyway, we are very excited about these upcoming devices we cannot wait to provide the Gizmochina readers with a full review of these devices.

Usually we do not write about tablets very much as they are still not as popular as smartphones. And we will not write about tablet this time either, because one of the Chinese manufacturers Jide has something interesting to offer, which we may call an ultra-tablet.
The Jide company may sound like a new-comer, but it was founded by 3 former Google senior engineers, which have a combined experience of 26 years. Having a lot of experience in the field of software, these guys decided to follow the “If you want to have a great software, build your own hardware approach”.
It turns out that this is not an ordinary knock-off tablet, but it is made with high precision both in terms of hardware and software. It starts with a quite unusual screen size of 11.6 inches and 16:6 aspect ratio. According to the company, this is the exact screen size the users prefer for productivity tasks.
If there was only a tablet, we would say that it is simply too big. However, the device comes with a a keyboard along with the trackpad.
Moreover, there is a dual-angle kickstand, which teamed up with the keyboard and the proprietary Remix OS makes it a productivity oriented tablet/ultrabook.
The device comes with the Remix OS, which is build on Android 4.4.2 (Lolipop upgrade is coming soon). This OS is oriented towards productivity tasks, but can handle all the possible Android apps as well.
The device comes with a juicy 8100 mAh battery, which supports fast charging and can also charge other devices on the go.

Finally, the rumours claim that the new device will be released in July and it will cost around one thousand Yuan.
