On its official website and Flipkart, the company shared teasers of the upcoming device showcasing its July 10 launch date. Those teaser posters confirmed a bunch of its features, confirming that it is identical to the European version of Moto G85. You get a tall 6.67-inch curved pOLED display on the front that offers FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1600 nits of peak brightness.

Keeping up with most smartphones in this price segment, the rear features a 50-megapixel primary camera (Sony LYT-600 sensor), along with an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel shooter on the front. The Moto G85 packs the new Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, which is paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Motorola promises two years of Android updates and three years of security updates (Android 14 OS out of the box).

Motorola‘s next gen foldable smartphone could be arriving in India soon. The new flip phone from the company could be dubbed the Moto Razr 50 Ultra and it appears that its Indian release could be near. So here’s what we know so far.

Moto Razr 50 Ultra India launch near?

Back in January 2024, the company announced the Moto Razr 40 Ulta in a new Peach Fuzz color option in the Indian market. Now, it appears that the successor is already in the works and could be arriving in the region soon. The Moto Razr 50 Ultra was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standard certification. It was spotted carrying the XT2453-1 model number.

Unfortunately, the BIS certification did not reveal any finer details like the specs and design of the upcoming flip phone. However, it does hint that the Indian release isn’t too far away. Based on what we know so far, the Razr 50 Ultra will likely offer a design similar to the Razr 40 Ultra. It will likely feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen series processor. To recall, the Razr 40 Ultra came with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The Razr 40 Ultra sports a tall 6.9-inch LTPO OLED primary display as well as a 3.6-inch cover screen. The rear packs a 12-megapixel + 13-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear, while the front offers a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The Moto G24 Power and two other models visited the BIS certification (Bureau of Indian Standards). Looking at the listing, the three devices were spotted carrying the model numbers XT2363-5, XT2425-2, and XT2421-3. Unfortunately, the certification database does not reveal the official moniker of these smartphones. However, the Moto G24 Power was previously spotted on the TDRA database carrying the model number XT2425-3. This means that the XT2425-2 on BIS is likely the same smartphone.

Earlier today (21st December 2023), we also covered a 3C certification listing for the XT2363-4 model, which is believed to be the Moto G34 5G. In other words, the G34 could also be launching in India soon, since the XT2363-5 had surfaced on BIS as well. It has been spotted in leaked renders as well as multiple certifications revealing almost everything except the pricing and availability. Now, Motorola has announced the launch date of the device in China on microblogging platform Weibo. The upcoming offering is expected to arrive as the successor to the last year’s G53.

The post shared by Motorola on its Weibo handle does not reveal details about the G54 smartphone apart from its launch date. The device is set to launch in the country on September 5, Tuesday. This is just a few days after the G84 5G debuts in India on September 1.

Foldable smartphones are still a niche category in the market and many still worry about their overall durability. However, it seems like the latest Razr 40 Ultra from Motorola is surprisingly stronger than it looks.

Moto Razr 40 Ultra Durability Test: Does it Survive?

In the latest JerryRigEverything video, the company’s flagship foldable smartphone was put through a number of grueling tests. This included the scratch test, burn test, and even the bend test. Starting off with the scratch test, we see that the Moto Razr 40 Ultra screen started showing visual signs of scratches quite easily even at levels 2 and 3. However, the outer panel did a much better job, lasting till round 7.

In the burn test, the outer panel again outlasted the primary flexible screen by surviving till 20 seconds. Meanwhile, the inner screen lasted just 6 seconds. During the scratch test, the device had its power and volume buttons scratached, but these still performance normally. To test the IP52 rating, Zack also covered the foldable phone with a lot of dust. But this didn’t seem to affect the device’s folding mechanism at all.

For the final test, the Moto Razr 40 Ultra was put through the bend test to test its durability. The smartphone’s flexible panel help up since it managed to not break or show any issues. However, the outer panel’s glass was completely shattered. Despite all of this abuse, the device still performed normally.

Motorola has officially announced the release of its new Moto Razr+ 2023 foldable screen phone. The company claims that the new phone defines the “ultimate form of small foldable screens,” boasting a large external screen and a super-high screen-to-body ratio.

Although no specific release date has been announced yet, it appears that the Moto Razr+ 2023 will still feature a vertical folding design, as shown in the teaser poster on Weibo.

The upcoming Moto Razr+ 2023 is expected to have a larger secondary screen than its predecessor, the Moto Razr 2022, with renderings showing that it may even cover the rear camera through a multi-hole design.

The teaser doesn’t confirm the name of the device. The new model may be called “Moto Razr+ 2023” or “Razr 40 Ultra” and is expected to have a much larger external screen than the 2.7-inch screen on the Motorola Razr 2022, which is already impressive for a folding phone.

In terms of performance, the Moto Razr+ 2023 is rumored to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip with a maximum CPU frequency of 3.19GHz. The phone will come with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and will be pre-installed with Android 13 with My UX 5 on top.

The device passed China’s quality certification center, revealing that it will have a 3640mAh battery and support 33W fast charging. The device has also gone through India’s BIS certification.

The Chinese version of the Razr+ is expected to support 5G and arrive with a model number of XT2321-1, as revealed in the 3C certification database. Motorola launched the Moto G32 in August last year. It had arrived in a single 4GB + 64GB RAM and storage configuration. Now the Lenovo-owned brand has announced a new variant of the device.

The Moto G32 now comes in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. It is priced at Rs 11,999 and is said to be India’s most affordable smartphone with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Like the base variant, the device will be available from Flipkart starting March 22nd. Apart from the bumped-up RAM and storage, the rest of the specifications of the Moto G32 are expected to be the same as the older model.

The Moto G32 features a 6.5-inch display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a center-aligned punch-hole cutout. It offers a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and is IP52 splash-resistant. New leaks about the upcoming Motorola Moto G Power (2023) edition have surfaced, giving a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming smartphone. The new renders are shared by the well-known tipster Evan Blass, showcasing a new black color variant and a silver color variant of the phone.

According to the previous renders which were leaked by OnLeaks, the Moto G Power (2023)’s dimensions will be 163.1 x 74.8 x 8.4mm, and it will feature a 6.5-inch display. Motorola has just launched a new smartphone in the Indian market. The new device is a mid range handset dubbed the Moto G73 5G and is the direct successor to the G72 that was released previously. So let’s have a look.

The smartphone maker has launched the G73 to launch in India with slightly different specs compared to its previous announcement in Europe. The device sports a 6.5 inch LCD panel that has a Full HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz high refresh rate. While the aspect ratio and high refresh rate is great, the company downgraded the G72’s display from an AMOLED to an LCD panel. The front also houses a center aligned punch hole camera cutout.

Under the hood, the Moto G73 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC that is paired with 128GB of internal storage. This is also a downgrade from the global variant’s 256GB base configuration. The back cover also has the Motorola logo, but it does not double up as a fingerprint scanner. Instead, the fingerprint reader is embedded in the power button on the right-side frame of the phone, alongside the volume keys.

Unfortunately, the under-screen fingerprint reader that users have wanted for a long time will not appear in this model either. The bottom of the phone features a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, microphone, and speaker grille. The SIM card slot is probably located on the left side of the Moto G Power (2023).

The Moto G Power (2022) was launched with a MediaTek Helio G37 processor, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage. Motorola recently launched a budget smartphone, dubbed Moto G53 in China. A handset with the same name but different specs and design is expected to launch soon in the global market as well. It was recently spotted on various certification sites, including BIS India, FCC, and TDRA. In the latest update, the global Moto G53 has bagged compulsory GCF certification, hinting at a nearby launch. Here are the details.

A Motorola smartphone with model number XT2335-1 has been spotted on GCF (Global Certification Forum) website. As per previous listings, this model number is associated with the global version of the Moto G53. For the unaware, GCF certification is a must for all kinds of devices that operate on the cellular network.

Moto G53 Global and Chinese version

The listing did not reveal any specifications of the device but it hints at an imminent launch. As of writing this, we don’t have a confirmation from Motorola. We can expect an official word pretty soon.

Earlier this week, we had reported on an online listing on Best Buy Canada website, which revealed the pricing and specifications of the Moto Watch 70. Now, the Watch 150 and Watch 200 were also spotted on the same platform.

Talking about Watch 150 first, this model has a circular dial on the front unlike the rectangular display on the Watch 70 model. The Watch 150’s display is a 30.55mm AMOLED display and it is listed to offer up to 14 days of battery life on a single full charge. Other features listed online include 24 sports modes, step tracking, heart rate monitoring, and SpO2 blood oxygen tracking. This upcoming smartwatch model will also be available in multiple color options, namely black, rose gold, and silver.

The Moto Watch 200 also has a rectangular screen, although, its appearance is more akin to the Apple Watch design. The Best Buy listing reveals that the display will offer a 348 x 442 pixel resolution. It will even come with a silicone strap. Other notable features include 28 sports modes support, SpO2 blood oxygen mapping, heart rate monitoring, step and distance tracking, and likely various other features as well.

Unfortunately, this is all the finer details regarding specifications revealed on the online listing. Although the pricing for both upcoming Watch 150 and Watch 200 wearable models were also revealed. Apparently, both new smartwatches will be available in Canada for a price tag of 199.99 Canadian Dollars (roughly 150 US Dollars). This pricing might just be a placeholder figure ahead of the launch so take this information with a pinch of salt for now.

Motorola is gearing up to launch its latest Edge 40 series of flagship smartphones in the market soon. But prior to any official announcement, the company’s high end Edge 40 Pro model was spotted on a certification website.

The company’s upcoming premium device was just recently spotted getting certified on the TDRA website. This certification listing basically confirms the official moniker of the handset and even revealed its XT2301-4 model number. The Edge 40 Pro is also expected to be the rebranded Moto X40 model, which is rumored to launch in China soon. In other words, the TDRA database also hints at an imminent launch of the new smartphone.

Notably, the X40 model carries the model number XT2301, which basically indicates that the Edge 40 Pro is a rebranded version. Apart from the TDRA listing, the smartphone was also certified on the EEC website as well. But unfortunately, both of the new online listings do not reveal any finer details like the internal specifications or design of the Edge 40 Pro. But we do have previous rumors and leaks regarding the Moto X40 to go for now.

The company has yet to launch this model in the global market, but a new leaked press render has revealed its full design and hints at its possible release in other regions as well.

The leak arrives from known tipster Evan Blass (AKA EvLeaks), who shared the press renders, which highlight the key features of the new Razr 2022. For those unaware, this device comes with a clamshell foldable screen with a larger outer display compared to its predecessor. The new cover display is 2.7 inch and brings additional support for select games, message replies, and even lets you answer calls and more.

Looking at the leaked press renders, we can also see that the device sports a dual camera setup on the rear, which consists of a 50 megapixel primary sensor and a 13 megapixel ultra wide angle lens. Meanwhile, the front will house a 32 megapixel selfie camera housed in a punch hole cutout. New G-series smartphones from Motorola will soon be available in India. The Moto G32 will indeed be released in India, according to the company. The following low-cost Motorola smartphone will debut on August 9 in India. The business will shortly introduce a new G-series smartphone in India.

The Lenovo-owned smartphone brand was supposed to launch the aforementioned devices as well as there were rumors about another smartphone that was supposedly going to be launched by the company earlier today.

The Moto S30 Pro, the rumored smartphone was expected to be rebranded as the Moto Edge 30 Fusion for the global market. Now, prominent tech leaker, Yogesh Brar has revealed the complete spec list for the smartphone via a tweet. The details include display specs, optics, storage capacity, software, battery specs, and more.

Moto S30 Pro/ Moto Edge Fusion specifications

The Moto S30 Pro/ Moto Edge Fusion was reportedly powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC, according to Geekbench. Now, the leaker has also confirmed the same.

In terms of display specifications, the smartphone will have a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED display, with a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the display will support HDR10+ just like Moto Razr 2022 and Moto X30 Pro.

In the optics department, there is a triple-rear camera module with a 50MP Primary sensor, 13MP Ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP Macro sensor. Although a telephoto lens would have sealed the deal for many buyers, it is still a decent camera setup. The front of the device dons a 32MP camera.

The device will have two storage variants 128 GB and 256 GB, with two RAM options as well- 8GB and 12GB. The storage and RAM combination of the device is yet to be confirmed.

An Android-12 based My UX OS would come pre-installed in the Moto S30 Pro.

The device will feature a 4400 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. It will also feature stereo speakers.

We expect more information to come our way in the coming days as a new date for the postponed launch is yet to be announced by Motorola.

Motorola is all set to launch the Moto Razr 2022 and the Moto X30 Pro tomorrow. Earlier, it was reported that the smartphones had received their TENAA certification. Now, it has been revealed that the devices have added another feather to their respective hats as they are HDR10+ certified.

Motorola has just teased a key feature of its upcoming flagship grade smartphone. The device in question is likely the Moto X30 Pro, which is also referred to as the Motorola Frontier.

Looking at the recent teaser image, we can see that the poster showcases a new primary sensor that has a large 1/1.22″ size. Furthermore, this is a 200 megapixel sensor, which will likely be the main camera on the rear. This model might be called the Moto X30 Pro in China, and will reportedly be branded as the Moto Edge 30 Ultra in the global market. Recently, a smartphone model with the model number XT2241-1 was also spotted on the Chinese 3C certification website as well.

Previously, the company had stated that it will be launching a new smartphone with a 200 megapixel camera and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. So, its clear that the new large sensor will be for the Moto X30 Pro. This camera is likely to be the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 image sensor, which is just slightly smaller than a full 1 inch sized image sensor that was featured on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

Motorola appears to be on a roll with smartphone launches recently. Now, it appears that another G series handset is on its way as well, after the Moto G32 was spotted on Russian EEC certification.

According to a MySmartPrice report, the EEC certification for the smartphone reveals that it carried the model number XT2235-2, XT2235-3, and XT2229-3. The first model number has already cleared BIS certification, so the Indian launch for this device is likely in the company’s plans as well. Interestingly, the model number XT2229-3 is also the same as the model number for the Moto E32s as well. In other words, the G32 might be a rebranded E32s model.

Going by this information, we can make educated guesses regarding the G32’s specifications based on the E32s. The latter sports a 6.5 inch HD+ display that supports 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the E32s is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G37 processor. On the back, the device features a triple camera setup with a 16 megapixel primary sensor and two 2 megapixel sensors. Meanwhile, the front features an 8 megapixel selfie shooter.

The smartphone is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 15W fast charging over a USB Type C port. Other features include, side mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 12 OS based MyUX, a dedicated microSD card slot, and an IP52 water resistance. This phone also came in two colors, namely Slate Grayu and Misty Silver options.

Moto G42 launch date for India confirmed via Flipkart

Motorola has been gearing up to launch the new Moto G42 smartphone in the Indian market. Now, an official Flipkart listing has confirmed its launch date as well as tease some of its specifications as well.

Looking at the Flipkart microsite, the company is confirmed to launch the Moto G42 in India on July 4. Apart from just confirming the launch date, this online listing on the popular e-retailer also revealed some key specifications of the handset ahead of its official release as well as multiple color options. The Moto G42 will sport a 6.5 inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that has a standard 60Hz refresh rate and center punch hole cutout on the front.

Under the hood, the Moto G42 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 20W TurboPower fast charging. Arriving at the rear, the device features a triple camera setup that includes a 50 megapixel primary sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro camera. On the other hand, the front houses a lone 16 megapixel selfie shooter.

Other features include, Dolby Atmos support, IP52 water resistance, and Android 12 OS out of the box (with promised upgrade to Android 13). The brand will offer the new smartphone in two color variants, namely Atlantic Green and Metallic Rose options. Moto Tab G62 launch imminent, spotted on Google Play supported device list

Motorola is set to announce a new tablet in the market soon. The company has previously launched Moto Tab G series models in the past, and now, it appears that another new model will be joining its tablet portfolio.

According to a MySmartPrice report, the new Moto Tab G62 might be released soon, as the upcoming Android tablet was spotted in Google Play Supported Devices website. Notably, the listing on the Google database also confirmed its official Tab G62 moniker and its model number XT2261-1 and XT2261-2. The former is the 4G enabled version, while the latter is the LTE only model.

Unfortunately, apart from its name and model number, no other details regarding the tablet was shared. So, its unknown what specifications and features the Tab G62 will launch with as of right now. Although, based on its name, it will likely sit somewhere between the two previously launched Motorola tablets, namely the Moto Tab G20 and Tab G70. For those unaware, the Tab G70 was the company’s high end tablet that was launched in India.

The upcoming Moto G62 5G has been spotted on multiple certification websites including TDRA, FCC, and NBTC in the past. The listings also hint at the smartphone’s imminent arrival.

Motorola is all set to launch the Moto G52 budget smartphone on April 25 in India. So far, we know that the device will arrive with 4G connectivity and will be priced under Rs. 20,000. Now, the leaker Mukul Sharma has shared the hands-on video of the device giving us a closer look at the smartphone.

The Motorola Moto G52 can be seen in the White shade. It has the pOLED panel and is claimed to have super-thin bezels. The phone’s 50MP triple camera system can be seen on the back. There’s also an LED flash beside the main lens. The Motorola logo is placed at the center on the back. As per the leaker, it will be the slimmest phone in the segment. Motorola is apparently gearing up to launch a number of new products. The Lenovo owned brand will be launching new smartphones under its Moto E, G, and Edge series. These new models have been spotted on various certification websites recently, which hints at their imminent launch.

According to a MySmartPrice report, the Motorola E32 was spotted recently on multiple certification websites, and now, additional new models have also surfaced on these websites. Apart from the E32, the company is also gearing up to launch the Edge 30, G52, and the Lenovo K15 as well, which were spotted on the TDRA, FCC, Wi-Fi Alliance, and EUT certification websites.

The Motorola Edge 30 features the model number XT2203-1, while the Moto G52 comes with model number XT2221-1, the E32 has the XT2227-3 model number, and the Lenovo K15 has the model number XT2227-4. For those unaware, the vanilla Motorola Edge 30 will be the successor to last year’s Edge 20. Similarly, the Moto G52 will succeed the Moto G51 from 2021, meanwhile, the Lenovo K15 is likely a rebranded version of the E32 for China.

Furthermore, the Motorola Edge 30 and Moto G52 were also spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance and the database reveals that both smartphones will come with dual band Wi-Fi support and run on Android 12 out of the box. Lenovo was the first phone manufacturer to ship Qualcomm’s latest and greatest, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset on its flagship Motorola Edge X30 back in December 2021. The phone was not the best in its segment, considering the alternative offerings from other competitors such as Xiaomi, Realme and Huawei. But considering its relative starting price of around 600 USD, the Motorola flagship was great for those who did not have much stretch on their budget.

Just when we thought that the standard Motorola Edge X30 would be the only flagship from Lenovo in 2022, a new listing on 3C Certification states that a new Motorola smartphone has been certified for electronics safety and it may be a new member in the Motorola Edge X30 family.

The news comes from ITHome, where they have spotted that 3C Certification recently listed a Motorola smartphone bearing the model number XT2201-6. From the listing, the Motorola XT2201-6 is stated to support 68W fast wired charging, which is currently exclusively available on the Motorola Edge X30.

Another indicator that the Motorola XT2201-6 may be a new member of the Motorola Edge X30 lineup is its model number. The Motorola Edge X30 was launched in December 2021, but leaks started pouring out as early as early November 2021 with the model number XT2201-2. Considering that both the model numbers share the same XT2201 code, it may seem that the Motorola XT2201-6 may be a Motorola Edge X30 Ultra.

Although there has not been any other leaks or rumours directly regarding the Motorola Edge X30 Ultra, there have been a lot of leaks recently regarding the Motorola Frontier, Motorola’s next flagship which could bear the market name of Motorola Edge X30 Ultra.

An earlier leak by Evan Blass showed off renders of the Motorola Frontier, which is Motorola’s entry into the ultra-premium smartphone space. The leaked image shows the Motorola Frontier from all angles in a lustrous, metallic grey finish on the back. And the front display features very narrow bezels on all sides, with exaggerated curves on both the left and right sides of the phone to provide more screen real estate for the user.

As for the rear triple camera setup, it houses a major camera island equipped with a rumoured 194-megapixels sensor, which is expected to be the ‘S5KHP1’ sensor manufactured by Samsung. As for the other 2 cameras at the bottom, it is rumoured to be the 50-megapixel Samsung SKJN1SQ03 ultrawide sensor and the 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto camera for zoom shots.
