A few months ago, Huawei has unveiled its all-new EMUI 9.0 custom interface which is based on the latest Android 9 Pie operating system with a few AI-based functions. The company has already released EMUI 9 update to several Huawei and Honor smartphones in China.

Now, after rolling out the update in its home country, Huawei has today announced through Twitter that it will soon start rolling out the new Android Pie-based EMUI 9 to international models, including Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, P20, P20 Pro, Honor Play, Honor View 10, and Honor 10.

According to a few media reports, users in Singapore and the United Kingdom have already started receiving the new EMUI 9 update. The new update should soon be available to users in other regions as well. For users who are upgrading, the size of the update is about 4GB while for those who are currently on the EMUI 9 Beta, the package size is about 770MB.

The EMUI 9.0 update brings various new changes along with all the features of Android 9 Pie. The customized skin comes with plenty of bug fixes and enhancements over the EMUI 8.0. The new user interface is better optimized for full view displays and carries additional AI-based features.

It also brings the Computer Mode Version 2.0, wireless universal screen projection through Miracast, one-click screen capture, and HuaweiShare for faster file transfers, among others. There is also a new password manager capable of auto-filling passwords using ID verification from the fingerprint scanner or via facial recognition.

The settings menu has been trimmed down by 10 percent. It also comes with GPU Turbo 2.0 which reduces the touch response of the phone by 36 percent and adds a new app assistant. This new GPU Turbo 2.0 introduces support for four more games: Vainglory, Arena of Valor, Rules of Survival, and NBA 2K18, in addition to PUBG and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Since the update is based on Android Pie, it also gets navigation gestures. Among other features, the Android Pie also comes with Adaptive Battery which makes use of machine learning technology to improve the phone’s power management.

At IFA 2018, Huawei revealed some new colors for the Huawei P20 series. Particularly, talking about Huawei P20 device, then it has two new colors ie. Aurora Flash and Pearl White. Huawei P20 series new colors have already been pre-sold to users. The new colors schemes will be up for grabs at Huawei Mall from Today at 12:08 hours. Talking about the Morpho Aurora color, it gives a gradient look from the different angles and the there’s similar story for White Pearl. It also changes color from different angles but the saturation is very high. The other Two Gold Brown and Elegant Black are made out of Leather and have comfortable grip to hold.

Huawei P20 Aurora Butterfly and Pearl White color is available in both 6/64 GB and 6/128GB variants and pricing is 3388 Yuan (~$495)  and 3888 Yuan (~$568) respectively. Huawei P20 launched in April this year packs Hisilicon Kirin 970 with 6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB Storage. It have 5.9 inch LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen giving resolution of 1080 x 2240 pixels. Huawei has now officially confirmed that the name of the 14 Huawei smartphones that will be receiving the GPU Turbo technology update. The company has also revealed on the approximate time period on when these devices will be receiving the GPU Turbo update.

In August, Huawei will be bringing the GPU Turbo technology update to users of Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Mate RS, P20 and P20 Pro. Owners of these smartphones from markets like Europe, Russia, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa will be able to take advantage of the update.

In September, the GPU Turbo update will be coming to users of Mate 10 Lite, Nova 2i, P Smart and Y9 2018 in all markets. Owners of P20 Lite in regions like Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa will be also receiving the update in the same month.

In November, the Mate 9, Mate 9 Pro, P10 and P10 Plus will be updated with GPU Turbo. The update will made available to users of these smartphones in all regions.

GPU Turbo technology was unveiled on the day when Huawei had announced Honor Play and Honor 9i smartphones in June. It is a hardware-software technology for accelerating the performance of the GPU of a smartphone. Huawei claims that the GPU Turbo technology can enhance the performance of GPU by 60 percent and at the same time it reduces its power consumption by 30 percent. It can also improve the performance AR, VR and EMUI user experience. A recent report has revealed that the Huawei MediaPad M5 is the first tablet from the company to receive GPU Turbo technology. The tablet is expected to receive the vital update in this month.

The above list does not include Honor phones. However, a recent report had revealed that some of the Honor branded smartphones will be also updated with GPU Turbo. Honor 10, Honor 9 Lite, Honor V10 and Honor 7X users located in Europe, Russia, Asia Pacific, India and Middle East will be treated with GPU Turbo update.

AnTuTu is considered one of the reliable benchmarks for testing the performance of a smartphone. Each month it releases its list of top 10 smartphones that offers best performance. Until the arrival of Snapdragon 845 chipset driven phones, AnTuTu’s list of best performing phones were led by Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 that are fueled by Kirin 970 SoC. Today, the benchmarking platform has released the list of top 10 best performance smartphones between May 1 and May 31.

As it can be seen in the image below, the list is mainly populated by Snapdragon 845 powered phones. One should be aware of the fact that the list is not showing the highest score of each smartphone, but their average benchmarking score.

The list is led by Snapdragon 845 powered OnePlus 6 that has managed to salvage an impressive average benchmarking score of 274,910. The China-exclusive Smartisan R1 that is also powered by the same chipset is sitting on the second position. It has scored 272,520 points. The Black Shark gaming phone by Xiaomi that includes the same SoC has scored 270,235.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galax S9+ that are also fueled by SD845 have respectively scored 263,218 and 262,571 points on AnTuTu. Currently, they are placed on fourth and fifth positions on the listing of best performing phones on AnTuTu in May. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S is now holding to sixth position with a score of 261,719. On seventh is Nubia’s Red Magic gaming phone with a score of 214,904.

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro with a score of 212,001 and Mate 10 with a score of 211,566 are respectively placed at eighth and ninth positions. The Honor V10 that recorded 210,616 points sits on the last position on the list. These three phones are powered by the Kirin 970 chipset. There is no confirmation on why the list does not include the Kirin 970 powered Huawei P20 and P20 Pro smartphones that were launched in March this year.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 was also launched in the previous month. Since it has been made available for buying starting from this month, it is not present in the above list. During the launch of Mi 8, Xiaomi had claimed that it is the first smartphone ever to breach the 300,000 mark on AnTuTu. Hence, it seems that the top 10 list of best performing phones for June 2018 will surely have the Mi 8 ranking among the top 3 phones.

Today, the Chinese manufacturer had held an unveil event in New Delhi to announce the arrival of Huawei P20 Pro and P20 Lite smartphones in India. For reasons best known to the company, the Huawei P20 smartphone was not announced at the launch event.

Huawei P20 Pro and P20 Lite Specifications and Features

The Huawei P20 Pro has a 6.1-inch Full View OLED display that supports Full HD+ resolution. The iPhone X-like notched display offers 19:9 aspect ratio. The natural tone display is comfortable for viewing in all lighting conditions. The handset features an IP67 certified water-resistant and dustproof body.

The Kirin 970 that includes a neural processing unit (NPU) for exclusively handling AI computations powers the P20 Pro. The SoC is supported by 6 GB of RAM and it has a native storage of 128 GB. There is no microSD card slot on the phone.

It is loaded with the latest EMUI 8.1 skin flavored Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone can be connected to an external display by using an USB-C to HDMI cable to take advantage of the desktop experience through the Huawei PC Mode. The 4,000mAh battery can be charged to 58 percent by charging it only for 30 minutes using the SuperCharge fast charging technology by Huawei.

The USP of the Huawei P20 Pro is that it features triple camera setup that includes 40-megapixel RGB sensor, 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The Leica engineered triple cameras offer 5x loseless hybrid zoom and 10x digital zoom. The Huawei P20 Lite is a less powerful phone is it has powered by Kirin 659 chipset that is designed for power mid-range smartphones. It features a 5.84-inch Full View IPS LCD screen that is equipped with a notch like the P20 Pro. It also delivers an aspect ratio of 19:9. The SoC is couple with 4 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 64 GB and it carries support for microSD card. The P20 Lite is loaded with EMUI 8.1 skinned Android 8.1 Oreo OS.

The f/2.2 aperture 24-megapixel selfie camera of the P20 Lite can not only shoot impressive shots in dim light, but also it is equipped with features like AR-based stickers and facial recognition. The Huawei P20 Pro premium flagship that comes in colors like Graphite Black and Midnight Blue will be available in India for Rs. 64,999 (~$979) starting from May 3. From the same date, the P20 Lite that carries a pricing of Rs. 19,999 (~$301) will be available for purchase in colors like Midnight Black and Klein Blue. Huawei had announced the P20 and P20 Pro flagship phones in Europe on March 27. The Chinese manufacturer is now working on bringing the P20 series to more markets like China, Taiwan and India. Huawei has recently confirmed through its official Weibo account that the P20 series will be unveiled in China on April 12 at 2:30 PM local time. Fresh information reveals that the company will be launching the P20 and P20 Pro in Taiwan on April 19.

According to a Taiwanese publication, the 5.8-inch Huawei P20 may hit the Taiwanese market with a price tag of 20,990 TWD (~$718) and the larger 6.1-inch Huawei P20 Pro may carry a pricing of 26,990 TWD (~$924). Earlier rumors had claimed that the latter could be costing around 30,000 TWD (~$1,027). The publication claims that the leaked pricing could be different from the final pricing that is expected to get announced on April 19.

As far as Chinese release of the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro is concerned, fresh reports claim that the P20 would be available with a starting price of 4,088 Yuan (~$651). On the other hand, the P20 Pro is pegged to carry a starting price of 5,288 Yuan (~$848). The first sales of the P20 and P20 Pro is expected to begin at 18:08 PM on April 12.

The Chinese market will be also receiving the Mate RS Porsche Design smartphone that is equipped with 512 GB storage, P20 Pro’s triple camera setup, 18:9 aspect ratio display and dual fingerprint scanner. It is expected to be available in China for 10,000 Yuan (~$1,590).

Huawei Porsche Design Mate RS

Huawei will be also launching another phone called Huawei Porsche Design Mate RS tomorrow. Rumors surrounding it suggest that it is a different from P20, P20 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design.

It is expected to arrive with horizontally arranged triple-lens setup. It may feature the same specs as P20 Pro, but may include a massive internal storage of 512 GB.

One of the lines sprayed on the street reads “the renaissance is coming.” One of the ads placed on the trucks read, “a renaissance in photography is coming soon” accompanied by big-sized words like “wait” or “be patient” with AI in those words mentioned in red color to indicate that the cameras of the P20 series will rely on AI to capture impressive shots.

The Huawei P20   series includes P20, P20 Pro and P20 Lite. Since the P20 Lite is a mid-range phone, the Chinese manufacturer has already launched it separately. The upcoming launch event is reserved only for the unveiling of P20 and P20 Pro. Huawei has recently launched the P20 Lite smartphone in Europe. The Chinese manufacturer will be launching the P20 and P20 Pro on the coming Tuesday in Paris. Leaked renders of both phones have appeared through multiple sources in the recent weeks. Today, a new leaked image has surfaced that shows a dummy unit of the Huawei P20 sitting besides the real P20 Lite.

Compared to the real P20 Lite, the dummy unit of P20 shows that both the smartphones have similar design. However, the P20 will be sporting slimmer bezels than the mid-range P20 Lite. The P20 has a fingerprint scanner physical home button below the display.

The rear view of the P20 shows that it features dual rear cameras. Leaked information has revealed that it will include a 12-megapixel sensor and a 20-megapixel sensor. One of them is expected to have an aperture of f/1.7. The frontside of the phone is likely to feature a 24-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. It could be the very same Sony IMX578 sensor that is available on the P20 Lite.

The Huawei P20 is expected to arrive with a 5.7-inch notched enabled IPS LCD display that will carry support for Full HD+ resolution of 2240 x 1080 pixels. The Kirin 970 chipset is going to power the P20. It will be fueled by 3,400mAh battery. The 64 GB and 128 GB storage variants of the phone may respectively feature 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM. However, some of the markets are going to receive only of the storage editions of the Huawei P20. It will arrive preinstalled with Android 8.0 Oreo that will be customized with EMUI 8.0. The Euroland is expected to receive the P20 with a pricing of 679 euros.

The Huawei P20 Pro is expected to arrive with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a notched OLED display of 6 inches that carries support for FHD+ resolution. The rear side of the phone may feature 40-megapixel RGB + 20-megapixel monochrome + 8-megapixel telephoto triple camera setup. It may come packed with a 4,000mAh battery. The rest of the specs of the P20 Pro could be same as P20. It is likely to cost 899 euros.

Yesterday, Huawei had launched the Nova 3e smartphone in China. Without out any delay, the Chinese manufacturer has also launched the P20 Lite in Europe.

To say again, the P20 Lite is essentially the same smartphone that has been launched as Nova 3e in China. The home market has received the Nova 3e in four colors like the Klein Blue, Midnight Black, Platinum Gold and Sakura Pink. However, the P20 Lite will be available in Europe in three color options such as Klein Blue, Sakura Pink and Midnight Black.

The P20 Lite is fitted with a 5.84-inch IPS LCD display that includes a notch at its top. The 19:9 aspect ratio screen offers Full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The Kirin 659 chipset is present under the hood of the phone along with 4 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 64 GB and it also features a microSD card slot.

On the backside of the phone resides the dual camera setup and a fingerprint reader. The dual camera system includes a 16-megapixel as the main sensor that is assisted by a 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit. For shooting selfies, it is equipped with a 24-megapixel Sony IMX578 sensor. It can not only shoot amazing portrait shots, but also it can be used for facial recognition. The P20 Lite is loaded with EMUI 8.0 UI that is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The 3,000mAh battery of the phone carries support for 9V/2A charging.

The Huawei P20 Lite is priced at 369 euros (~$452) in the Europe. It will be available in retail outlets across the European nations starting from the end of this month. The P series smartphones from Huawei are known for carrying stellar camera features. The Huawei P10 that was launched in 2016 became one of the first smartphones to arrive with dual rear cameras. Huawei will be launching the P20 and P20 Pro flagship phones on March 27. Recent reports have revealed that the P20 will be arriving with dual rear cameras whereas the P20 Pro will be an advanced device featuring three rear cameras. CNET has obtained some new photos that seems to have been snapped using the Huawei P20 smartphone. Here are the images:

Previous leaks have revealed that the EML-AL00 is the model number of the upcoming Huawei P20 phone. Here EML stands for Emily, the codename of P20. The P20 Pro is codenamed as Charlotte while the mid-range P20 Lite has a codename of P20 Lite. Hence, it is quite evident that these camera samples belong to P20.

The Exif details of one of the photos show that the EML-AL00 handset was used to capture the photo that was taken on Feb. 23. The images appear as it was taken using a professional camera. However, the exact configuration of the Huawei P20’s dual rear cameras are not known. It is expected to arrive with 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture and f/2.4 aperture lenses. It has been also revealed through the P20 teasers that the smartphone will be able to capture impressive shots in dim-light conditions.

As far as other specs are concerned, the P20 is expected to arrive with an IPS LCD display that will support FHD+ resolution. Plenty of information on the specs and features of the upcoming Huawei P20, P20 Pro and P20 Lite have surfaced through multiple leaks in the recent months. Well-known tipster Roland Quandt has today shared official press renders of the P20 series smartphones to reveal their design.

Huawei P20 and P20 Pro

The Huawei P20 flagship phone will be in colors like black, blue and pink. It features a notch enabled display and it is fitted a physical home button that is embedded with a fingerprint scanner. The back panel of the phone features vertically aligned dual rear cameras certified by Leica.

The P20 Pro is an advanced flagship phone that will be arriving in colors like black, blue and lilac (purple). Previous leaks have revealed that the P20 will be coming with an LCD display whereas the P20 Pro will b equipped with an OLED display. Both phones are expected to support 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The Kirin 970 chipset will be powering the P20 and P20 Pro smartphones. The notch present on both phones feature 24-megapixel selfie camera, earpiece, proximity and ambient sensors.

The backside of the P20 Pro is flanked with Leica certified triple camera setup and a fingerprint reader. The third sensor could be an 80mm telephoto lens which means it will be able to produce almost three times more magnification. The triple camera setup may include a RGB sensor, a monochrome sensor, and a third 3x telephoto lens.

Evan Blass had previously claimed that the camera of the P20 Pro will deliver a maximum resolution of 40-megapixel. The images of P20 Pro show that it has f/1.6 and f/2.4 aperture lenses. On the other hand, the P20 has a f/1.6 aperture lens along with a fixed focal length of 27mm. The rear-facing cameras on both phones are equipped with laser autofocus and infrared-based color temperature sensor.

The P20 may house a 3,400mAh battery whereas the P20 Pro may be packed with a 4,000mAh battery. Quandt claims that the manual of the P20 and P20 Pro has revealed that these handsets may not feature a microSD card slot.

Huawei P20 Lite

The P20 Lite is shown in colors like black, blue and pink. It will be a mid-range phone that is likely to be powered by Kirin 659 chipset. It may feature the same FHD+ 19:9 aspect ratio screen available on the P20 Pro. The images of the phone reveal that it sports thicker bezels compared to P20 and P20 Pro. The backside of the phone features a dual camera setup. It is also expected to feature a 24-megpixel front camera. Its dual camera setup on the rear my feature a 16-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. It may house a 2,900mAh battery. The P20 Lite seems to feature a glass rear while the other two models appear to be housed in metallic chassis.

Huawei P20 series that will be launching on March 27 includes P20 and P20 Pro flagship phones and P20 Lite mid-range smartphone. Today, a leakster from China has revealed that Huawei is also preparing to launch a premium flagship called Huawei P20 Porsche Design. Leaked shots of the phone reveals that it will be arriving with a different arranged triple cameras and under-display fingerprint scanner.

Shown above is an image of the Huawei P20 Pro flagship. Its triple camera system is arranged vertically. Around a week ago, a hands-on video of a very sleeking Huawei P20 model was spotted. At that time, it was speculated that it could be the P20 Pro handset.

Fresh information reveals that it could be a customized edition of P20 Pro flagship that may arrive in the market as P20 Porsche Design. As it can be seen in the images below, its triple lens is arranged horizontally. As it can be seen in the below images, an LED flash is positioned between dual cameras and the third camera. It is speculated that the triple lens setup features a wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens and a standard lens. The Leica branding can be seen at the top-right corner.

The official renders of the P20, P20 Pro and P20 Lite smartphones that were recently leaked by popular tipster Evan Blass had revealed that allow of them are equipped with notch design like the iPhone X. The P20 Porsche Design has a very sleek design and it is difficult to make out whether it features a notch. Probably, it does not feature a notch and it has an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The front and rear sides of the P20 Porsche Design is made out of glass and it features a metallic frame in between. There is no fingerprint scanner on the front or back panel of the phone. This suggests that the handset may come with an under-display fingerprint reader.

The Chinese manufacturer has also highlighted “IA” letters twice in the billboard. In Spanish, IA is a short form of inteligencia artificial. It indicates that the P20 and P20 Plus will deliver stellar photography experience through AI. According to the aforementioned Weibo post, P20’s cameras will be driven by AI. Also, the teaser GIF shows that even in night, the P20 was able to capture the Eiffel Tower in all its glory.

Rumors have it that the P20 Plus/Pro’s triple camera setup will include 12-megapixel RGB sensor, a 16-megapiel monochrome sensor and a 16-megapixel telephoto lens. Few months ago, Huawei had trademarked P11 and P20 names. Hence, there was a confusion regarding the name of the next-generation P series smartphone. The below promo video released by Huawei on Feb. 24 confirms the P20 moniker.

The short video that only lasts for 7 seconds has three circles that suggest that it will be coming with a three-camera setup. The other hint in the video is the word “moore” that has extra letters.

The Huawei P20 was recently spotted on TENAA with dual camera setup. Rumors have it that the advanced Huawei P20 Plus/Pro model would be coming with triple camera system. The images of the P20 that has appeared through its TENAA listing show that it will be coming with iPhone X-style notch design. Hence, there is a possibility that the P20 Plus/Pro may also feature the same design.

Huawei was previously rumored to debut the P20 series at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. However, since it will be keeping a dedicated launch event in the coming month for P20 series, it only announced the Matebook X Pro laptop and MediaPad M5 tablets at the MWC 2018. By skipping the MWC event and launching the P20 series around a month later, the Chinese manufacturer will be able to fine tune its marketing strategy after checking the reception of the Galaxy S9 and S9+.

Huawei P20 is rumored to be codenamed as Emily. Hence, the EML-TL00 and EML-AL00 Huawei phones that were found listed on TENAA in the previous week could be the storage/RAM/carrier variants of the Huawei P20. The TENAA listings did not include images or specifications of the phone. Its images had recently appeared for some time on the website of the Chinese regulatory agency, but they are no longer available now. However, we managed to get those images before they were removed. As far as specs of P20 variants are concerned, they have still not appeared on TENAA yet.

As it can be seen in the above images, the Huawei P20 features a blue colored metallic body. The device sports a full screen design with a home button at the bottom and a notch at its top. The fingerprint sensor could be embedded in the home button whereas the notch seems to be housing a selfie camera and another sensor.

The left side of the phone is barren, and its right side features a volume rocker and power key. The backside of the phone is curved towards the edges. It features a vertically arranged dual camera setup and below it is the LED flash and Leica branding. The company’s branding can be found at bottom-left of the rear panel.

These images are way different from the leaked photos of a prototype of P20 that appeared yesterday. This suggests that there may be multiple prototype of P20. However, the images that have appeared on TENAA could be the final design of the phone.

The new images of the P20 resembles with the photos of the P20 Lite that have appeared on FCC.  This suggests that the entire P20 series may feature iPhone X like notch design with vertical dual rear cameras. The specifications of the P20 are likely to be revealed soon as the TENAA listings of EML-TL00 and EML-AL00 are expected get updated with their images and specifications in the near future.

Huawei is rumored to debut the P20, P20 Lite and P20 Plus smartphones through a dedicated launch event in the coming month in Paris. In the previous month, a Spanish site had revealed several leaked shots of a prototype of the upcoming P20 Lite smartphone. Today, Android Authority has shared multiple live images of a prototype of Huawei P20.

The Huawei P20 Lite prototype sported an iPhone X-like notch enabled design. Hence, the Huawei P20 that is speculated to feature better specs than the P20 Lite was also expected to feature an iPhone X-style design. However, the images of the prototype of the Huawei P20 have revealed that it won’t be resembling the iPhone X.

The leaked images show that the upper and lower bezels of the P20 are slimmer than the predecessor P10 smartphone. Its sides are almost non-existent. The left edge of the phone is barren whereas the right side features a Power key.

There are no physical volume buttons on the phone. Instead, it seems to feature some sort of touch indicators above the power key that can be swiped up and down for controlling volume.

The back panel does not feature a separate camera housing like the P10. Also, it does not feature the rumored triple lens system. The Leica certified dual camera setup blends with the rear panel of the P20. The edges of the back panel are more rounded than P10 which indicates that the smartphone will offer better grip.

The publication has learned through its source that the P20 may arrive in regular and Pro variants. The regular model may feature dual camera setup whereas the Pro/Plus model may house triple camera module.

As it can be seen in the above images, the bottom edge of the P10 (device placed on the right) features an external speaker, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The prototype of the P20 features a pair of external speakers with a USB-C port placed in between. There is no confirmation on whether the extra speaker is functional. The handset does not feature a 3.5mm audio jack. The source of these photos did not reveal any information on the specs of the phone.

The schematics of the Huawei P20 Lite was revealed around a week ago when it had appeared at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. Today, couple of real images of the same Huawei phone have appeared through its FCC listing.

The front view of the alleged P20 Lite shows that it features a notch that could be housing the selfie camera and earpiece. The notch is not as big as the one seen on the iPhone X. This could be because the Huawei device may not be featuring a complex facial recognition feature that is available on the iPhone X.

The Huawei branding is not seen on the device. Instead, the device features “Shirley” branding on its chin and rear side. This could be a strategy to hide the actual brand name of the phone. The back panel features a vertically aligned dual camera setup at the top-left corner. Below the camera module is the LED flash and “DUAL LENS hybrid zoom” text which can be also seen on the recently leaked photos of P20 Lite.

The right side of the handset seems to feature the volume rocker and power key. The bottom side appears to feature a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C port and an external speaker.

The P20 Lite is slated to get unveiled alongside the P20 and P20 Plus flagship phones. It is likely to feature a 5.8-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels, Kirin chipset, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of native storage, Android 8.0 Oreo and 3,000mAh battery. It is speculated that the P20 Lite would be launching as Huawei Nova 3e in certain markets.

On March 27, Huawei will be holding a launch event to announce the speculated Huawei P20, P20 Plus and P20 Lite smartphones. The Huawei P20 Lite has been recently certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. The alleged Huawei P20 and P20 Plus smartphones have appeared on TENAA, a telecom regulatory body from China.

Well-known tipster had confirmed in the previous month that the Huawei P20, P20 Plus and P20 Lite are respectively codenamed as Emily, Charlotte and Anne. The recently listed EML-TL00 and EML-AL00 on TENAA could be the carrier variants of the upcoming Huawei P20. Here “EML” probably indicates the Emily P20 smartphone. Also, the CLT-AL00 and CLT-AL00 could be carrier variants of the Huawei P20 Plus. Here “CLT” may stand for P20 Plus.

As of this writing, the alleged listings of Huawei P20 and P20 Plus on TENAA do not contain images and specifications. However, the appearance of these phones on TENAA indicates that their images and specs will be revealed in the next few days.

If EML and CLT phones respectively refer to Emily P20 and Charlotte P20 Plus smartphones, there could be another listing for ANN – Anne P20 Lite phone. None of the Huawei phones that have recently surfaced on TENAA have “ANN” in their model number.

TENAA has two other Huawei phones with model numbers ATU-AL10 and ATU-TL10. There is no confirmation on whether these phones could be the variants of P20 Lite or some other Huawei phone.
