During this stage, professional judges will examine all qualifying photos to select 25 finalists for each category for a total of 100 finalists (Top 100). The Voting Stage will then take place from November 27th until December 6th 2018. During this stage, users can visit the official challenge page to vote on the Top 100.

A winner will emerge from each category based on the votes of Mi fans all over the world. OnePlus 6 prototypes showcase a range of gradient finishes that were never released

Ahead of the October 29 launch of the OnePlus 6T, the Chinese company reportedly extended an invitation to British YouTuber Mrwhosetheboss over to its headquarters in Shenzhen, China. The visit was primarily to have an exclusive look at the flagship device ahead of its unveiling. We are not likely to have an early review of the device before it is announced because the YouTuber wasn’t allowed to release a video or pictures of the device.

The visit, however, brought to the fore an interesting detail of the OnePlus 6 several months after the model was launched. The YouTuber got an extensive tour of OnePlus’ headquarters and along the line, he stumbled on a number of old OnePlus 6 Prototypes still on display. The prototypes adopt several colours such as blue, purple and several colour gradients. Surprisingly, OnePlus 6 was never released in any gradient colour despite the growing popularity of that styling since the Huawei P20 Pro was released with such design. The OnePlus 6 came in Midnight Black and Mirror Black in the first instance. OnePlus also released a Flame Red and Silk White colour variant.

OnePlus may likely throw in a surprise by including a couple of the innovative colour options, including the gradient hue on the upcoming OnePlus 6T. The company may not get the liberty to experiment so much, though, as it would likely want to release colours that would sell in large quantities. After all, a new Oneplus model will be joining the fray as early as the first or second quarter of next year.

China mocks US over claims of iPhone tapping, suggests Trump use a Huawei phone

An explosive report carried by the New York Times had claimed Russian and Chinese spies may have been eavesdropping on calls made by U.S President Donald Trump’s unsecured iPhone. Know how China reacted? By suggesting that Trump switches to a Huawei phone apparently a mockery of U.S government’s longstanding claim that Huawei could be sharing confidential user data with the Chinese government.

The thing is, Trump has three iPhones, two secured ones and a third which is just like the iPhone in use by ordinary users. It is reported that he prefers the unsecured iPhone because it allows him to save personal contacts. But U.S intelligence officials fear Russia and China spies could listen to Mr Trump’s conversation over the unsecured iPhone and has advised him to use the secured White House line instead. Mr Trump isn’t likely to heed that advise so it is hoped that he doesn’t discuss classified information over the unsecured iPhone.

According to the South China Morning Post, Hua Chunying, official spokesperson and deputy director of the Chinese foreign ministry’s information department, said: “If they are very worried about iPhones being tapped, they can use Huawei”. Apart from the hilarious suggestion, China also debunked such allegation with Hua reportedly dismissing it as “fake news”. There’s absolutely no chance Trump will consider the suggestion, anyway.

At least basing on the specs on the paper, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 should be at the second place as it supports the HDR technology as well.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro has the biggest battery ever seen on the most important flagship of a mainstream company, with a capacity of 4200 mAh. And even though it has a huge capacity, it is able to charge up to 70 percent in just 30 minutes. Further, it supports Qi wireless charging which is fast as well, even though not as fast as the standard charging through the USB-C port. But on the other hand, it supports reverse charging wirelessly, so it can charge other devices just by sticking to them. With its capacity of 3750 mAh, Oppo Find X takes the second place in the battery life ranking, while Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has an above-average capacity of 3200 mAh and it will surely not be able to compete with its opponents in terms of battery life.

The price is the balance needle as it differs a lot between these devices. Given that Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is still not in the global market, we will refer to the Chinese prices for it. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 starts from just $474/€420, Huawei Mate 20 Pro costs $1192/€1050 in the global market and Oppo Find X was launched internationally with a price tag of $1135/€1000.
