Recent reports have revealed that the upcoming Nokia flagship phone that features a penta-lens setup has a model number of TA-1094. Even though the exact name of the phone is not confirmed, the rumor mill is referring to it as the Nokia 9 smartphone. A fresh image of the phone has appeared to tease its rear design. The image also reveals the battery capacity of the Nokia 9 phone.

The new image of the alleged Nokia 9 only reveals its rear design. The ZEISS certified penta-lens setup is positioned on the backside of the phone. There is no information available on the front design. Hence, it remains a mystery whether the Nokia 9 features a notched screen or a notch-less tall aspect ratio display.

The leaked image has also revealed that the handset is equipped with a non-removable battery of 4,150mAh capacity. If this information is true, the Nokia 9 will be the largest battery phone from the company. The back panel of the phone lacks a fingerprint reader. This indicates that its display could be embedded with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

Recent leaks have revealed that the Nokia 9 may arrive with a 5.9-inch OLED screen that will carry support for Quad HD resolution. The Snapdragon 845 chipset is very likely power the handset. It may come preloaded with Android 9 Pie OS.

The Nokia 9 variants were recently spotted on Samsung Latvia website. The storage and SIM variants of the phone were found to be listed in Samsung’s Buyback Program which contains list of devices that can accepted for trade-ins. There is no confirmation on the authenticity of the leaked image shown above. Huawei has an unveil event coming up on Oct. 16. Through it, the Chinese manufacturer will be announcing the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. Recently, well-known tipster had tipped on the existence of a new Porsche Design smartphone that is codenamed as Everest. Hence, it is also being speculated that the Mate 20 Porsche Design will debut alongside Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. The specifications of the entire Mate 20 series along with images are expected to leak very soon since the Mate 20, 20 Pro and alleged Porsche Design model have surfaced on the website of TENAA, the telecom regulatory body from China.

The back panel of the phone features a vertical dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner. It is difficult to judge whether the handset is sporting a polycarbonate or a metallic rear. LG tipped to release eleven V40 ThinQ variants

LG has confirmed that it will be debuting the V40 ThinQ smartphone on Oct. 4. The handset has already bagged approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. The FCC documents reveals that there are eleven variants of the V40 ThinQ which belongs to the LM-V405 series.

There is no information available on the specifications of the eleven models of the V40 ThinQ. Apple officially took the wraps off its next-generation smartphone at a launch event in California, USA. The company announced the new Apple Watch Series 4, which comes with a larger display and thinner body compared to the previous-generation Apple Watch.

The Apple Watch Series 4 has been redesigned and re-engineered, claims the company. The new smartwatch comes in two sizes — 40mm and 44mm. The display is over 30 percent larger and integrates into a thinner and smaller case.

The Digital Crown now offers haptic feedback, providing a mechanical and responsive feel through incremental clicks. The wearable device is powered by the next-generation S4 chip with a custom 64-bit dual-core processor, which is claimed to deliver twice the speed while maintaining the same all-day battery life.

The Apple Watch Series 4 is running watchOS 5 that the company says offer advanced activity and communications features. For health-related features, along with a new accelerometer and gyroscope, which detects hard falls, there’s also an electrical heart rate sensor that can take an electrocardiogram (ECG)using the new ECG app.

The ECG app takes advantage of the electrodes built into the Digital Crown and new electrical heart rate sensor in the back crystal. Apple says that all health and fitness data is encrypted on-device and in the cloud. Coming to the battery, the battery life on Watch Series 4 is the same as before — 18-hours.

Apple iPhone XR with Liquid Retina Display and A12 Bionic chipset launched, pricing starts at $749

Along with the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, US-based tech giant Apple also announced iPhone XR, which is the cheapest smartphone of the three that were unveiled at the launch event in California, USA.

The Apple iPhone XR comes with an aluminum body and glass back. Unlike the iPhone XS lineup, the new iPhone XR features a 6.1-inch LCD display with a screen resolution of 1792 x 828 pixels, offering a pixel density of 326ppi.

The company is calling the display as ‘Liquid Retina’ and claims that it is the most advanced LCD display in the industry. It features Apple‘s True Tone technology that is claimed to offer a more natural viewing experience.

While the iPhone XS series features 3D Touch, the iPhone XR lacks support for 3D Touch. However, the company has introduced Haptic Touch, which is similar to the one introduced in the MacBook trackpad.

Just like the iPhone XS and XS Max, the iPhone XR too is powered by the latest Apple A12 Bionic 7nm chipset. Apple says that the chipset unlocks new experiences for games, photography, video editing and graphics-intensive apps while still offering great battery life. It comes in three storage options — 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

Coming to the camera configuration, the phone comes equipped with a single 12-megapixel sensor at the back, with a wide-angle lens and optical image stabilizer (OIS), same as the iPhone XS. On the front side, it has the same 7-megapixel True-Deth camera and comes with Face ID support that now unlocks the phone through facial recognition faster than ever. The camera also has support for Portrait Mode that enables you to take images with bokeh effect.

All the iPhone models announced this year comes with IP67 ratings and thus, the iPhone XR is also water resistant. This too runs on the latest iOS 12 operating system. As for the battery capacity, Apple claims that the battery on iPhone XR lasts one and a half hour more than the iPhone 8 Plus.

The iPhone XR comes in multiple color options, including Black, White, Blue, Coral (Pink), Yellow, and Product Red. It is priced at $749 and will be available for pre-order from October 19 and the company will start shipping the iPhone XR from October 26.

After months of leaks, Apple has finally announced its latest iPhone lineup. At a launch event in California, the tech giant unveiled three new iPhones — Apple iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max along with the iPhone XR. Among the three new phones, the iPhone XS and XS Plus are the successors of the iPhone X that was launched last year.

The iPhone XS features a 5.8-inch display while the XS Plus has a 6.5-inch display. The company is calling this OLED HDR screen as Super Retina, which provides a pixel density of 458ppi. Apple also says that it has 60 percent greater dynamic range for better colors. It is also a 3D Touch pressure-sensitive screen.

Both the phones are powered by Apple A12 Bionic chipset, which is manufactured using the 7-nanometer process and promises to launch apps 30 percent faster than 2017 iPhones. The SoC has six-core CPU, quad-core GPU, and a dedicated neural engine. The company says that the new chipset can handle five trillion AI operations per second and should provide real-time machine learning.

It also comes with an improved camera configuration. There are two camera sensors on the back side, which includes 12-megapixel primary lens with f/1.8 aperture and a 12-megapixel secondary telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture for lossless 2X zoom. On the front side, there’s a 7-megapixel snapper with f/2.2 aperture, coupled with IR camera to enable portrait mode. The Face ID feature, which unlocked the phone through facial recognition, also works faster.

The camera can detect people’s faces and bodies, and also offers an instant red-eye reduction. There’s Smart HDR which can identify highlights and find shadow detail. An interesting feature is that you can now adjust the depth of a portrait mode photo after capturing the image.

Both, the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, come in three storage options — 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The devices are also IP68 rated, which means that both phones are water-resistant and can survive in water up to 30 minutes in 2 meters depth.

Another major feature of the new iPhone is the support for Dual SIM cards through eSIM technology. While the addition of Dual SIM support may not be a big deal in the US, it’s a huge deal for Asian countries. A special model for China has support for two physical SIM cards.

Running on iOS 12, the new iPhone XS and XS Max has support for stereo sound with a wider stereo field than 2017 iPhones, claims the company. As for the battery, the company has not revealed specifications but says that the iPhone XS should last 30 minutes longer than iPhone X and the iPhone XS Max should have 1.5 hours longer battery life than the iPhone X.

The pricing for the iPhone XS starts at $999 while the iPhone XS Max starts at $1,099. Both the phones will be available in three color options — Space Grey, Silver, and Gold. The iPhone XS and XS Plus will be available for pre-order from Friday, and they will start shipping from September 21.
