Nokia fans across the world are eagerly waiting for a new flagship phone from the company. A recent report had claimed that HMD Global has pushed the launch of the mysterious Nokia phone with penta-lens camera setup to February next year. The smartphone is rumored to debut as Nokia 9. Today, freshly leaked photos of the alleged Nokia 9 have surfaced on Weibo. Most of the leaked photos of the Nokia 9 that have surfaced in the recent past have only revealed the rear design of the phone. However, the new photos that have arrived today showcases the front design of the smartphone.

The new images of the Nokia 9 clearly show that it is equipped with a dual-edge curved display like the Samsung Galaxy flagship phones. The top and bottom bezels of the phone are thick. This suggests that the alleged Nokia 9 will not offer high screen-to-body ratio like the flagship phones from OPPO, Vivo, Huawei and Xiaomi.

A selfie camera seems to be present at the top-right corner of the upper bezel. The bottom bezel only features the Nokia branding. The top edge of the phone is not visible in the images. The bottom edge of the smartphone features a microphone, a USB-C port and an external speaker. There is a possibility that the handset may not feature a 3.5mm audio as the Snapdragon 835 powered Nokia 8 Sirocco phone lacks it.

The rumored specs of the Nokia 9 flagship phone include 5.9-inch OLED QHD+ display, Snapdragon 845, up to 6 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage and penta-lens setup. The smartphone may arrive as Android One phone with Android 9 Pie OS preinstalled.

After months of running on the beta version, HMD Global has finally released a stable version of Android Pie for the Nokia 7 Plus.

The Nokia 7 Plus was one of the few non-Pixel devices that got support for Android P Beta. Even after the stable update was released, the Nokia 7 Plus kept receiving beta updates. Now, two months after the release of the stable update, owners of the Nokia 7 Plus will be happy to update to a stable version of Android Pie.

The Android Pie update brings a ton of new features such as a new navigation system (can be changed back to the old one), adaptive battery, adaptive brightness, and a dashboard app (Digital Wellbeing) to help you keep track of your phone usage habit. There Digitral Wellbeing app also has an app timer and “wind down” mode to help you get to sleep.

LG Watch W7 tipped to debut with LG V40 ThinQ

A fresh tweet from popular tipster Evan Blass claims that an LG smartwatch that was rumored to launch as LG Timepiece Watch will be debuting soon as LG Watch W7. The all new Watch W7 is now rumored to break cover alongside the LG V40 ThinQ smartwatch on Oct. 4.

In April, the Android Headlines had carried an exclusive report on the LG Watch Timepiece which contained all the information on its specs and features. It had claimed that the LG Watch Timepiece will be a hybrid device that will run on Android Wear OS and it will feature a mechanical clock setup. Hence, the upcoming LG Watch W7 will function as analog as well as digital smartwatch.

Based on the information that had surfaced six months ago, the LG Watch Timepiece will be sporting a stainless body that will measure 45.5 x 45.5 x 12.9mm. This suggest that when it comes to size, it will sit between LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport. The device will be equipped with swappable 22mm silicon rubber strap. There could be another variant with Plus in its moniker. It is rumored to be available with a silicon and metal strap. It will be also equipped with an additional charging cradle.

The LG Watch Timepiece will be an IP68 certified device with a circular watch face, very accurate quartz movement and physical watch hands. The analog side of the Watch Timepiece promises accurate tracking of time and long-lasting battery life of around 100 days on a single charge when the device functions in Watch Mode wherein the Wear OS is completely disabled. The device will feature a 240mAh battery. Once it depletes, the device will continue to track time for around four days.

LG Watch Sport

The 1.2-inch round-shaped screen of the LG Watch Timepiece will support a screen resolution of 360 x 360 pixels with a pixel density of 300ppi. It will be equipped with an internal storage of 4 GB and 768 MB of LPDDR3 RAM. The device will be fueled by Snapdragon 2100 that includes 1.1 GHz quad-core processor.

For connectivity, the LG Watch Timepiece will be equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2. It will also feature USB-C 2.0 port. The smartwatch will neither have cellular capabilities, nor it will feature GPS and NFC.

The LG Watch W7 is rumored to launch with V40 ThinQ on Oct. 4. It is likely to arrive in colors like New Aurora Black and Cloud Silver and may cost around $250.

Official Razer Phone 2 render shows dual cameras and RGB light

Gaming hardware manufacturer, Razer, will launch its second smartphone – the Razer Phone 2 on October 10. Benchmark listings have shown the device will pack a punch with respect to RAM and storage. Today, an official render has leaked, revealing the design of the phone.

The image which was shared on Twitter by Evan Blass, confirms that the Razer Phone 2 will retain the 16:9 aspect ratio of its predecessor. The two thick bezels at the top and bottom of the screen likely house speakers like the original Razer Phone, so we expect a similar or better audio performance.

The top bezel is also home to two large holes – one is home to the front camera and the other houses the usual sensors. There is a USB-C port at the bottom and it is flanked by two antenna lines.

The back of the phone is where the most changes have occurred. The Razer Phone w will come with dual rear cameras like the original but the sensors are now sitting in the middle of the phone. Also, the LED flash is now flanked on either side by the camera sensors.

The familiar Razer logo is green is neon green and Evan Blass says there is an LED underneath as earlier rumored. The material used for the back of the device looks much smoother than that of the original but we can’t confirm if it is glass or aluminum. There is no fingerprint scanner on the rear or front of the device, so it’s likely still under the power button.

Unlike the Xiaomi Mix 2s, which didn’t change much in design than its predecessor, Mi Mix 3 is going to get a full makeover with a sliding design. The new look can be seen via various rumors and leaks in the past few months. Today, as per the new screenshot it is revealed that both the LEX and Mi Mix 3 phones could have a dedicated Xiao AI (company’s own AI assistant) button on the left side. Although no official announcement has been made, it is based on the leaked images via Weibo. Oppo Find X 10GB RAM model’s AnTuTu Benchmark score leaked online

Yesterday, we reported that Oppo is currently working on a 10GB RAM variant of its flagship smartphone Find X. We even confirmed the development with the TENAA specifications listing showing the 10GB RAM model with 256GB of internal storage.

Now, AnTuTu benchmark score of the Oppo Find X 10GB RAM model has surfaced online. However, the device scores just 271,362, which isn’t as high as one would expect. But given that the benchmark score is from an engineering unit, we expect to see improved score in the final retail unit.

Even after a year of taking pre-orders, RED is unable to deliver the Hydrogen One titanium version. Now, the South Korean giant has officially launched the new Cloud Silver color variant of the Galaxy Note 9 in the United States. It will be available for purchase in the US from 5th October. About a week later, the Midnight Black color option will also be available in the United States.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Cloud Silver color variant will be available for purchase through Best Buy and Samsung Online Store. The 128GB Midnight Black Galaxy Note 9 will be available at major carriers and retailers across the country. Currently, two color options are already available — Lavender Purple and Ocean Blue, and both comes with neon yellow S-Pen.

To remind you of the phone’s specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 features 6.4-inch S-AMOLED screen with Infinity Display design, which carries support for Quad HD+ resolution that’s protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor is powering the device in some markets while in other markets, it is powered by the company’s own Exynos 9810 chipset.

The phone comes in two models — one with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage while another packs 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. Coming to the camera, the device features a dual camera setup consisting of two 12-megapixel snappers. There’s an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

It runs Android Oreo operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own custom Samsung UX on top. The IP68 rated device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that also supports fast charging technology.

Huawei Watch GT secures FCC certification revealing a 410mAh battery, NFC

It was revealed earlier this month that Huawei has got a new smartwatch in the works when the watch was certified in Europe. The smartwatch adopts the moniker Huawei Watch GT but details of the wearable device were not revealed. The Watch GT has now reportedly been certified by the FCC. The Huawei Watch GT is revealed to pack a 410mAh battery which is slightly smaller than the battery capacity of the Watch 2 with a 420mAh battery. However, the battery size is pretty impressive. Moreso, it is bigger than the 291.8mAh cell onboard the latest Apple Watch 4.  Despite the big battery, the Watch GT will also support 5W charging using a charging pad. While the FCC document doesn’t reveal any more than these, the Huawei Watch GT is expected to be powered by Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor. The device will also likely run Wear OS from the go. Huawei is expected to launch the Watch GT on October 16 when the Mate 20 series will also be launched.

Renders show the Google Pixel 3 XL in Black, Mint, and White

This year, the Pixel 3 XL is expected to launch in three colors, unlike its predecessor that is available in only two. In addition to white and black (no Panda this year), the Pixel 3 XL will also come in Mint (Green). Waqar Khan has made renders of all three color variants based on latest leaks and rumors.

The Pixel 3 XL will maintain the two-tone finish as previous gen models. However, as we have seen in HD unboxing videos of the phone, the two-tone finish of the white variant isn’t as distinct as the one in these renders. Also, the power button is mint green and not orange.

The black variant of the render matches that of the Pixel 2 XL but we doubt Google will stick to the exact same design this year. We absolutely dig the Mint Green version. The color is sort of retro like the refrigerators of old. Is it me or does this variant of the Pixel 3 XL match with the Elvis Presley Atomic Player?

The Pixel 3 XL will come with a single rear camera like its predecessors. However, the entire back of the phone is made of glass and not part metal and part glass. This is because the phone will support wireless charging. Google will also stick to a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner but has embraced the notch.

While the rear houses just a single camera sensor, the notch is home to two sensors. The sensors are on opposite sides of the camera and appear to form a face. The phone will have stereo front-facing speakers – the earpiece will act as one speaker while the second speaker is housed on the chin.
